Midnight Snacks

“Hey, you’re still up?” He walked in the kitchen, with that ridiculous bed hair, and leaned over the counter where she was working on some pictures. She momentarily raised her blue eyes and brows before resuming to her work. “Can’t that wait for tomorrow?” he asked half yawning. He squinted over the notes scribbled on the edges and tried to follow the circles and the arrows sprawled over the photos.

“It’s actually due tomorrow.” she muttered then flipped to a new page where a different set of photos were lined up. The page was clean. He figured she’d be doing the same scribbling on this one, too. “How many more pages before you’re done?” he asked again and checked the thickness of the portfolio. Ten? Fifteen more pages?

She smiled and made a low giggle. “What, can’t sleep without me beside you?” she teased, to which he blushed. “I-It’s not like that...” he looked away as he tried to control the growing rosiness in his cheeks. “I’m just worried that you won’t get enough sleep for the next day. You know, stuff like that.” his voice faltered at the end. “We’ve been married for three months and yet, the last time we slept together was during the last day of our honeymoon.” he added then sighed. She bit her lower lip and closed the portfolio. “Oh, sorry. I...wasn’t aware about our sleeping together status.” she joked and walked to the other side. “I just...miss you.”

“In bed.” 

“Ugh, no. In general. I mean---ugh, I don’t know how to say it.” he wrinkled his nose. “Yuuta too.” he added and pulled her. She allowed herself to fall to his chest and rested her head on the space between his neck and shoulders. “Ah...yeah. This. I miss this too.” she said then raised her head to plant a quick kiss on his chin. “H-Hey! Not there...” he laughed and tilted his head away. Apparently, he was especially ticklish over his chin. “You’re such a girl when it’s just the two of us. Are you a closet homo?” she said and laughed. He laughed too and ruffled her hair. “Do you want me to become one?” he said and scooped her up, princess style. “I know. You’re just being too kind and overly worried about me. I’m a big girl already.” she said, wrapping her arms around his neck. “I’m your husband, and that’s my job.” he replied as he gave her a kiss. “There you go again, being fluffy.” she said with an obvious and tremendous blush. His molten golden eyes glowed upon seeing her more relaxed. He knew how hard and strenuous her work could be, so whenever and however he could, he made her relax. Even if it involves punching in some ultra-cheesy lines. “I have a funny confession to make.” she said, her eyes blinking and twinkling.

“Mm-hmmm?”

“I get hungry after you kiss me.” she said and hid her face. It took him a while before he could make a reaction. “Seriously?” 

“Y-Yeah. It’s weird....there! You heard my stomach grumble?”

“Wow. I don’t know what to say to that angry walrus.”

She blinked her eyes and bashfully looked down at his lips. “I could use a midnight snack right now.” she whispered.

Hey guys! This is good GOOD SUPREMELY GOOD NEWS I'm reporting to all of you. Our ship's founder (lol), BYC has graced us with her insanely amazing fanfic, Contrary. I don't exactly know how to describe it since I am being overwhelmed by emotions and feelings that are ugh omg i just can seriously just read it i swear omg this is such a good day for all of us.

Well, this is supposed to be a submission from either a friend/anon/whatever but since I am overly obsessed with this OTP, and sending this as anon/as myself then answering it as well under my 001 name is practically bull and pathetic, I decided to just post this as it is.

Who shops for groceries?

Well, both does the groceries but most of time, Nami's the more enthusiastic one. When Ryo doesn't feel like going out, she'll casually mutter (albeit, loud enough) that the bags are heavy, or there were reports of attacks on women nearby. There are days though that Ryo is willing to take the leap and ask her to go with him, making it a 'date'.

Who kills the spiders?

As much as Ryo hates it, he does it. Nami would just be annoyed at the sight. She's not freaking out at it because it looks scary or creepy or whatever. She would just frown and make Ryo do the kill.

Who comes home drunk at 3 am?

They have their own takes on this, since they're both prone to invitations to night outs, but they're taken on very few occasions.

Who makes breakfast?

It's definitely Nami. She likes to make breakfast, and even bento, since their busy schedules deprive them dinner dates at home. It's her way of making it up to him for being able to tolerate her.

Who remembers to feed to fish?

Ryo feeds the fish. Nami's busy enough tending her job, the house and him, so he takes it upon himself to do the little details which she forgets.

Who decorates the apartment?

Nami decorates but it's Ryo who gets to move the stuff. Hah.

Who initiates duets?

Nami  likes to hum songs though, and Ryo takes that as a cue to sing the lyrics.

Who falls asleep first?

Nami falls asleep first, usually. They like to talk before going to bed, just lying down and facing each other while they tell stories of how their day went. Then Nami's eyelids start to droop and after a few yawns, she's off to dreamland. Ryo just stares as she succumbs to sleep.

RYONAMI FANFIC UPDATES BY 001 (AKA SHAD0WCAST) v.2

Unlike the Facebook fanpage, this tumblog doesn't seem to be updated simultaneously when new chapters are being uploaded. So, as the author of those stores and an admin of this page, I thought that I should be responsible enough to let you guys know, in case you're only accessible in this tumblog.

RAP2: Restoring A Promise Chapter Six has been uploaded. As what I've said in the fanpage, this chapter is loaded with emotions and...well, check the chapter's tags for better understanding.

Unsung's second chapter is also uploaded. It's kinda short but Ryo finally gets the spotlight, along with a little twist. *wink*

I uploaded something new, Kiss and Tell. I still have this debate of whether I should leave it as it is or pursue in making further advancements but for now, I'll be letting it be by itself. I'll just announce if it's going to be a One-shot or not.

Also, if you've just recently visited the Wordpress site, you might have noticed the new layout. On the top are the main titles that I'm currently working one (hopefully, I'll be able to focus on them more this time and have better update flow for you guys). Clicking them will give you a summary of what the stories are and a little bit of their history such as when they started, or where and the sorts.

Since it's already summer break here, I have been lucky enough to upload a few updates from the series of RyoNami fics that I've started. First off, ITLF chapter 7 has been uploaded. Yay! Second, I was able to upload another oneshot, Sleep. Lastly, I started a new series called Unsung. It would be more canon-centric, so the ship wont get to end up together, and it's a semi-AU.
