I absolutely love that all the protagonist’s stories have different vibes, but my favorite dynamic is between Fuyusaka, who is living a shoujo romance, and Sekigahara, who is experiencing The Horrors (TM).

The Final Log

Also, I can now coherently convey what I dislike about Ryoko's ending.

I really like Ryoko's storyline. I like her diseased dog energy and how she tries over and over again to piece together her broken memories and psyche one by one despite how many people are working against her doing that and how painful it is each time she does, but she still works and works to remember more and more. It's really engaging, and I just really like Ryoko's character. She's very much an asshole, and I like her for that!

But then her ending practically erases all the work she did to recover those memories with the implication in the epilogue being that she's all fine now and its better for her, and I just really dislike that. Especially since that Ryoko Hangs Onto her belief in Ida. It just leaves a really bad taste in my mouth for a character who's arc I otherwise really like.

I'm not saying her memories should have been fixed or anything, but that Ei in comparison does get to retain his memories of what he finds out about himself in his route, and Juro was allowed to keep the information he learned about in his dreams. I wish Ryoko was given the same grace to remember what she found out and having to live on with that weight, even if it weighed heavily on her.
