Hello, hello~! I am happy to finally share with you the finished English subtitles for MoriMyu Op. 5~

It took a lot longer for me to finish than I'd like to admit, but it is here, it is finished~ ＼(≧▽≦)／ Op. 5 covers chapters 48-56 (+67) of the manga or the last few episodes of the anime for those who followed along with that as well. As the title suggests, it is the penultimate of Sherlock and William's story. We've gone through a lot with them in so many forms, and I'm so glad that the musical gave us such a beautiful rendition of the story. I do believe it will make you cry as well!

Anyway, enough rambling from me. I will be updating the folder with the bonus content subs along the way, but just for extra measure, I'll reblog the original post when they're all up~!

Against a powerful female enemy, the protagonist is in trouble and is saved by a man with a gun.

The enemy throws a deadly weapon at the man in retaliation, putting him out of the fight.

The protagonist loses an arm in the battle, giving us one of the most iconic panels of the manga.

The female enemy calls the humans "insects" which angers the protagonist and eventually leads to her doom.

The protagonist is suddenly feared.

The enemy gets her face ripped apart

Not saying all of this is an actual reference to Devilman. Except for the full page of Seras missing an arm, it's like 99% sure it's a reference. + the "humans are insects" part is most likely a reference too, considering the context with the "one arm full page". The rest could just be a coincidence. Although it sure looks like references.

Story continues, will it end as grim fairy tale or happy ending one? Still a lot to tell here. Who's Sherly? What happened in the past? All in act 2 of story.

(I drew this part for whole last 3 days so quicker update. Now I'm preparing final text for act 2, a lot more lore there but in matter of updates I will try to fit it into 2-3, less crazy backgrounds so it won't take crazy amount of time to finish this story, I wanna go all out in act 3)

Hello, and Merry Christmas to those who celebrate~! Otherwise, Happy Holidays! I am here to share the English subtitles for more MoriMyu~!

Oh gosh, I apologize for such a long wait...! Life just punched me around a bit with studying for board exams (which I passed, thankfully!), a bit of technical problems with the BD version, and a lot of real life things I needed to take care of before the year ends (￣▽￣*)ゞ

Op. 4 covers chapters 33-47 of the original comic, with a few scenes/moments omitted. It is essentially the build-up to the climax of the story that was covered in Op. 5! We were also blessed with the addition of Miss Mary Morstan and Adam Whiteley for this musical, and I hope everyone falls in love with them, too~!

Anyway, here are the subs~! A huge, huge thank you to @mouldering for helping me with proof-reading and quality checking! I wouldn't have been able to finish this before Christmas without your help~! ♡ ～('▽^人) I will be updating the folders with the bonus content subtitles when I am able to as well, but for now, please enjoy the main show's subs~!

Yuukoku no Moriarty, I feel, has ignited a lot of my childhood glee. I've missed hyperfixating on things and coming up with dumb headcanons and writing fics to get rid of the silly brainworms the come in the middle of the day.

It's been a really, really long time since I've experienced this thrill where I can't stop thinking about the characters and story and not a single day passes where a little idea hits me like a sledgehammer in the middle of working

And then Morimyu, oh god, has sparked a descent down another rabbit hole (into 2.5D hell) and i haven't felt this way since I was like 13 and discovering Rebocon for the first time where KHR was an all-consuming series for me (fanfiction, fanpages, cosplay, osts, voice actors, EVERYTHING)

Anyway this was just a ramble because I'm mildly experiencing withdrawal from consuming stage content ever since I was introduced to some stages by a particular actor :') but WOW I've really missed this exhilarating feeling, my fingers are TREMBLING as I type this.

I have never witnessed such an in-character while out-of-character moment as Ryo and Shogo’s fire discussion during the curtain call of Morimyu Opus 3.

Ryo-Sherlock, responsible for thanking the audience on the cast’s behalf: “The audience is like a bonfire.”

The cast, laughing: “wtf are you even talking about? We don’t think the audience is a bonfire? Eh? What is he even saying?”

Shogo-William: “I don’t know where to go from here but …”

— thinks hard how to eloquently save his partner in crime.

“I think the show pamphlet actually mentions, ah … one’s passions are undoubtedly as strong as a raging fire, and the pamphlet mentions that you should let the fire in your soul burn …”

— continues throwing all the perfectly-fitting fire metaphors for being uplifted by the audience’s passion while Ryo points like SEE, THIS!!!! HE GETS ME.

We all know this is exactly how William would save Sherlock’s ass repeatedly when he seemingly chats absolute shite at people, and William translates into polite, eloquent speak while essentially going, “what Sherlock just said is absolute brilliance.”

Shout out to Hide-Albert and Ikkei-Louis for also being perfectly in character throughout this entire exchange as amused big brother and murderous little brother.

… Sherlock he is coming for you.

I adore this musical so much how are the cast such absolute perfection.
