hello again! today’s song of the day is thunder mountain by ry ecko <3

this is the first song i’ve heard from ry ecko! i try to make a habit out of listening to my discover weekly on spotify every week because i’ve found some amazing songs and artists that way, and this song was one of them this week. i’ve never heard of ry ecko before, but i’ll definitely be checking out more of their music!

thunder mountain is a pretty chill song, which i always find myself gravitating towards during the winter. i really love the imagery in the lyrics, too.

take this as a reminder to check out your discover weekly — i never would have found this song otherwise, and it’s definitely being added to my rotation!

currently in the playlist i have 5 songs: don't take the money (bleachers ft lorde, live version), i'm on fire by bruce springsteen, sober up by annika bennett, nothing else i could do by ella jane, and things i wish you said by sabrina carpenter. to make 8, i would prob add thunder mountain by ry ecko, mimi by big red machine, and ain't got no - i got life by nina simone.

i also love floofy beans, i would prob pick the head of a quokka, body of a bear, and paws of cat. that way i get maximum fluff (bear) cute face (quokka) and toe beans (cat).
