Just found out that Kyle Hanagami (choreographer for RWRB) choreographed the Mean Girls musical movie. YESSS!!!! So excited for his choreo and for Reneé Rapp's Regina George. This movie is going to be so good!

The Casting Society revealed the non-movie nominees for the 40th Artios Awards, which honor the contribution of casting professionals in these categories, which include TV and theater.

All the winners will be announced February 12 during galas at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, the Edison Ballroom in New York, and White City House in London.

Ughhhh losing OFMD when all they wanted was one more season to wrap up the story makes me IMMENSELY happier RWRB was a movie not a show! Would I have loved to see it told in a longer format, yes. But what do shows do to get you hooked? They leave on a cliffhanger (and then potentially get cancelled…devastating the entire fandom!!) And I would have DIED if they did something with Alex and Henry to leave it on a cliffhanger and then it not get renewed!!

I want more FirstPrince! And I am so hopeful we will get more FirstPrince, BUT… if we don’t… if we have got everything they had to give and the most we get from Prime and the cast/crew/Casey/Matthew now is a couple more deleted scenes and maybe some interviews… HELL even if we don’t get that! I’ll be ok. Because I was not left with that bitter taste of not knowing what’s next.

We know what’s next. With book!verse they are living it up in Texas in their farmhouse. And in movie!verse we know through the snippets of the Thanksgiving scene that they made it to the brownstone, Henry’s cooking (likely badly, but we won’t judge), and they are HAPPY!

No one is dead. No one is alone. No one is sad.

Oh no, another fic appears! Sorry K, I'm not sure if you are into Red White and Royal Blue, but this is where your fic title took me <3 Thank you for the ask.

This fic title took me back to my rowing AU. I opened the doc, re-read it, hated it and then I basically re-wrote the entire middle scene as a result. Voila!

Henry isn't good at many things, but he is fairly good at rowing - something which is very deeply fine, until a transfer student from America turns up.

When Henry winds up being Alex's roommate on a training camp, they don't get off to a great start. Fortunately, their coach has other ideas.

A slice of the rowing AU involving midnight training sessions, extreme physical exertion and just a little bit of Only One Bed.

Notes: As a former rower and rowing coach, I'm worried this could have gotten a little technical. I have put some diagrams at the end of the fic for assistance! Really, I just wanted to write about Alex and Henry in rowing suits/zoot suits.

Also, I apologise if some of the terminology is Australia-specific. I presume that we share a lot with England, but I know for a fact Americans call rowing 'crew' - so this is firmly Henry POV.

the film was literally "i owe them everything. they took everything from me. i will never forgive them."

Red, White, and Royal Blue is the worst movie I've ever seen. It's the perfect movie. The original dialog is stupid. The original dialog is hilarious. It laughs in the face of the source material. The pacing is horrible. The pacing is amazing. The actors are beautiful. The actors look nothing like the book characters. They deleted June and Leo and Liam and Rafael Luna and gave us some weird little reporter boy. They say "History, huh?" In the museum scene. Alex knows he likes boys. Alex is still confused about liking Henry. It makes no sense. It makes perfect sense.

It's my favorite movie. Don't watch it.

So I was just browsing through Ellie Bamber's IG and wow she is the perfect Princess Beatrice!!!! Of course the movie gave ample evidence of that but I was just thinking that if we got a mini series instead of a movie then we would have gotten to see more of Bea and Henry.

And maybe also Emeraude Toubia as June Claremont Diaz (in my head she is June), as well?

I know nothing about rowing, but after reading just a little bit of your RWRB rowing AU I would definitely vote for that one! Alex rowing on both sides, I love it!

Baby boy is bi-sidal and I won't apologise for that 😌 (so am I lmao). FYI rowing term - odd no. seats are "bow side", even numbered seats are "stroke side".

Feeling like if I write this fic I'm gonna put this little explanatory diagram at the front to explain what your sweep 8 seat says about you (sorry to anyone that's been a 3 seat...I was a 3 seat once 😂).
