location edits: malfoy manor pt. 2

malfoy manor is a handsome manor house surrounded by elaborate gardens, including a fountain. the front door swings inward at the approach of a person without anyone visibly opening it. the hallway is large, dimly lit, and sumptuously decorated, with a magnificent carpet covering the stone floor. the walls of the entrance hall display pale-faced portraits lining the walls, and at the end of the hall is the bronze-handled door to the drawing room.

19) To name a few: @grangersdesigns, @completeresources, @manyresources, @yeahps, @peachresources, and @itsphotoshop :D

12) This is difficult to pick bc I’ve been making a mix of both formats, but I’ll give gifsets with a slight edge bc it’s less of a hassle when you’re exporting e.g. is has a consistent set of dimensions, whilst graphic making doesn’t. Additionally, I started making gifs before graphics.

15) I use Adobe softwares (Photoshop & AE CC 2015) and here are the pros & cons:

Pros:

It’s a very powerful software. It’s challenging but I enjoy learning new things :D

I can save my own PSDs, Actions, Templates, etc which wouldn’t be possible if I edit on an iOS app

Cons:

It takes ages to export gifs, especially when I have a video layer made on After Effects.

It has a steep learning curve, especially After Effects. While I’ve learnt a lot of new tools to date, there’s still so much that I still need to master.

4. Who/what inspired you to make graphics?

everyone else’s edits on tumblr, I loved them sm I wanted to make my own :D

10. 3 things you don’t like about graphic making

oooh idk omg

sometimes it’s hard finding pics for the thing you have on your mind

it does take time to make them the way you want them to be (”perfect”)

sometimes pics are smaller so you gotta change everything and it’s kind of a pain in the ass but I love it

13. What have you learnt since the beginning of your graphic making?

I’ve learned more about how to use photoshop and making psds and stuff (bc tbh I’ve never used downloaded psds), and idk… I’ve learned that it isn’t always easy doing that stuff and that it won’t always turn out the way you imagine it?? (or maybe I’m just doing smth wrong??)
