#this was supposed to be a warmup but i got carried away.... i havent drawn in so long that its been hard to focus orz #im testing a new brush for fun. again.. i think i can use this for clean lineart..?? im surprised i went as long as i did with the #narinder brush honestly... but i wanna try something new so here we are again #if i could get my shit together id love to draw a model of his van because i have smth really cool in mind..i was looking at pictures #of old wooden caravans like the horse drawn ones and i wonder if i could combine that with the shape of an RV #i like the ones with a door at the rear bc it kinda lookslike a train caboose.. maybe he'd get someone to weld him a custom ride!!#idk how intricate and detailed i can design it without making it a pain in the ass to draw every time BUT i have a general idea #it would probably have a door on the side but idk if itd flip down to make a stage or upwards to make a roof?? and then theres a #curtain behind it where he would come out and do his show methinks.. ive been looking at pictures of camping vans on pinterest for ideas #i dont think he LIVES in the van since i mentioned his home is an old run down theatre when he isnt on the road. i wanna draw that too #but the RV should have enough for long travels like a bed and cabinets..? maybe a net hanging on the ceiling where all his props go #id like to think of ideas for a hometown.. toronto has a huge entertainment district so it would make sense for him to live there #although id also love to base parts of it from vancouver since id love to go back and visit </3 #..would there be furth names for those places?? nyancouver... clawronto... whinnypeg (like a horse whinny)...#pawson creek.... purrlington... otterwa.. i love coming up with names lol #my art #myart #my oc #oc #sleight #laikas comet oc #fan character #fur #furry art

Starbee vacation end

Started the day off with some hot cocoa (which cybertronians can totally drink) and pandolce…complimentary bed and breakfast for them!

Then they said bye bye to the boats and started on the road-trip home.

They made a stop for a small beach date

Then continued on home

And picked up a friend a long the way!

Bee fits in his arms so well ^^

#THIS IS INDECENT BEHAVIOR SIR #CONTEXT: I have a big storage compartment over my bed and he loves climbing up into it #however it’s the middle of summer and it gets super hot in there because I live in an RV and there’s minimal insulation in non-living areas #so I keep it closed at all times because I’m paranoid he or his siblings will climb in and get stuck in there #today he decided to express his displeasure loudly and boldly #sir could this not have waited for the afternoon #peaches screams into the void

It would feel so nice to lay down in my huge foam bed and wrap up in a bunch of weighted blankies and fall asleep in another’s arms. That was so so nourishing.

#this is goggles #bleh I haven’t a foam bed nor a partner anymore #my bones ache constantly espesh where I hit the stairs last month #I feel so tired and lonely I wish there were something to do today #what tf am I supposed to do? go hang out at a straight bar? 🤢🤮#I kinda wanna go back to sleep and stay asleep until Tuesday #next year I’m going to have a nice salaried job #I’m going to buy a sweet vintage rv to call home #I’m going to go live somewhere gayer #I miss so many folks but it’s going to get better #I’m going to have a new life where love and harm are not one in the same #abusive folks will always be angry pissbabies about their victims expressing they’ve been hurt and taking steps to protect themself #I don’t care if they’re angry with me I’m angry I’ve been expected to endure abuse and consider that love my entire life #I deserve better and I’m going to get it in time #but fuck this sucks ass in the moment 😭

The reason they can't raise it more than the 8 in or lower the ground more is because it is a rail bridge and the the track right now is basically the highest grade they can make it for the type of train without redoing tons of crossings to raise even more of the rail up further out to not go past that grade if they raise it again, and there is either sewage or storm drain (I don't remember which) that runs immediately under the road underneath which means they can't lower it at all.

Like in the end the damage is almost all localized to the trucks and a sacrificial clearance beam built specifically so that none of the support of the bridge is hit first.

Besides that about a half mile of the road has signage indicating the extremely low crossing and it's not too far out of the way one side or the other to an over rail crossing, they've put in the sensors, the lights, the beam I mentioned, and in the end all of the cost is borne by the vehicle for any damages

was reminded of that youtube channel that records footage of that bridge that scalps trucks today. one of the fascinating developments that's happened since i last heard about it is that, in one of their many attempts to stop the trucks from being can-opened, they installed a traffic light that detects when a vehicle that's over the allowed height is coming and turns red so the driver can stop and hopefully notice the signage all around that's screaming "YOUR VEHICLE IS OVERHEIGHT TURN AROUND" and avoid an accident. However as a result sometimes drivers see the light turning yellow and IMMEDIATELY start flooring it to avoid having to stop, ensuring that the roof of their truck just gets fucking annihilated instantly. Really beautiful stuff you should check it out

#like they have done basically everything that is reasonable for this crossing but dumbasses are going to dumb #and that ignores the fact that the 11 ft 8 + 8 bridge is actually slightly higher clearance than the signage even indicates #so there is 100% no excuse for these trucks to still get can openered #RVs to lose air conditioners #and whatever is sitting in the bed of that truck sticking up too far getting knocked off

Vanlife Ways Pack Part 2

Heeeeeey! Finaaaaaally part 2 of vanlife is here! An interior pack for your sims motorhomes, including 31 new items! I tried to make a full functional home with this set, so there are RV based bathroom items, kitchen items, and bedding! I was kind overwelmed when I started this part 2, I could have taken so many different options and layouts for motorhomes. I ended up using these as inpirations: inspo 1, inspo 2, inspo 3, inspo 4.

I also tried to make this as modular as possible, so the pieces snatch when possible BUT I do recommend using moveobjects to be sure you can always place things correctly!

Huuuuge shoutout to Ravasheen that made fridges and stoves possible to snatch to counters!I All credits for this goes to her, and her original files are required.

OMG guys, this was a looong way, so sorry for being so late this month!
