Russsia, Putin and the coming Fascist Order
Don gave me the following suggestion: "Get an education here, Robert! You need to completely re-evaluate how you see certain parts of history and certain elements of our current state-of-affairs."
Don, I have been following authroritarian/totalitarian conspiracies for over 30 years, going back to my days as a CAUSA lecturer.  One thing that I have learned for sure, is that there is more than one conspiracy and most conspiracy theories are far too simplistic.  One of my mentors was Yuri Bezmanov, who was an ex-KGB officer serving for 16 years as an ideological dis-information agent.  After WWII, fascists/Nazi figures infiltrated the WACL and the anti-communist cause.  I have talked about this before and even suggested reading the book: "Inside the League: The Shocking Exposé of how Terrorists, Nazis and Latin American Death Squads have Infiltrated the World Anti-communist League."
This league was founded in 1966 as a public relations organization for the government of Taiwan and South Korea.  They soon adopted methods of unconventional warfare including “assassinations, death squads, and sabotage through out the world.”  (Anderson, 11).  All of these are methods adopted from the Nazis. Anderson makes the claim that many Eastern Europeans who participated in the holocaust were recruited into high intelligence positions in the United States and England.  They changed their rhetoric from complaints of a Communist, Jewish, Freemason conspiracy to buzz words like anti- Bolshevism and anti- Communism to appear respectable.
I have not finished my piece on reforming the DP, but the UM followed many Protestant groups in currying favor with the military dictatorship in SK after the 1961 coup.  It in this context that our anti-communist crusade began.  Note that communism fell over in Eastern Europe but not in the Far East in general in Korea in particular.  I still think that is why we saw a reunification of East and West Germany, but not North and South Korea.    In short, the military/political apoproach used by the WACL was not am efffective way of combatting communism.  What is needed is an ideological, moral and spiritual assault on the forces that stand againsst freedom.
Now, back to Russia and the current assualt on freedom.  Nothing you sent me refutes one point I made, it merely points out that Ukraine is part of the assault on freedom.  That is a reality, which I never disputed.  Next time try and engage at least some of the substance of what I argued.  After the Soviet Union fell, there was chaos and numerous forces were jockeying for control of a crumbling empire.  There was a short lived moment for democracy and I would LOVE to hear more from Frank about his activities over there.  In any event, that window closed and quasi fascist forces took over, led by Putin, and endeavored to rebuild the old Soviet Empire under the ideological banner of a new version of fascism.  Are there elements in Ukraine on board?  Absolutely, but Putin is in the political driver's seat and the Russian propanda machine has been supportting nationalist/populist forces across the world over under the guise of preserving traditionalism against the encroachement of a coming "New World Order."  The ideological guru behind the movement is the man known as "Putin's brain" Alexander Dugin.
