The Comic Book • Yet another colour test and also a good occasion to show a little extract of my work these last couple of days. I'm slowly getting closer to something I like with the colours. What do you think? I've got less then ten pages to completely finish off the drawing. With 60 pages, what started as a prank to make fun of my fellow comic-artist colleagues will be my longest project to date! I'm quite proud of myself because I started this a little more than three months ago. The Dragon and the Two Cousins • I'm getting quite a few questions as to why there is no more news from this project and I reassure you, we will get back to draw TDTC as soon as this one is finished. I really miss drawing with ink and I can't wait to start working on this beautiful story again with all the new stuff I learnt by doing this current project. I know it's frustrating to follow a project for months and then there is no more posts about it but it's just a bit of suspense, patience, patience... I Want to Run Naked

I want to run naked. Dripping sweat. To lick salt off my lips. Imagine. My vagina, unafraid, deliberately exposed, breathes with hair so cool. A curly girly. An 87-year-old with a walker, a mint condition racist, drops her mouth on the sidewalk. I pick it up and smile. A homeless veteran yells, “Catch that gook!” He’s cheering. People enjoy the show - my high school crush, my hippie professor, my mom who thinks I’m a virgin, my 3rd grade teacher who trashed my story about an apoopcalypse, my brother who said never to date black guys, indifferent cops, my uncle who resents his daughter-in-law after touching her, and my dad to see how much his forgotten daughter has grown, beautifully. I ignore my joints screaming, “Why are you moving when you don’t have to!" Because otherwise I’ll wake up from my bed to think about how I wake up from my bed to think about how I wake up from my bed to think about how I wake up … and sleep on the same bed, everyday, disappointed. Because masturbation will lose feeling and I’ll stop coming. Because I’m scared a business card will determine if I exist. Because, nowadays, who sees inexistent people? They’ll never see love. I exist. I exist. And that’s why I run! I run away from feeling nothing, from the people who make me feel like nothing, until I can’t run anymore with bloodied feet and cough my organs out, until I cry and become a wetter person, until I piss myself, moaning “I don’t know, I don’t know, I don’t know, but I am, I am, I am", because my body releases something and, for a moment, I feel real.
