Obviously most of who we would now consider neurodivergent in today's context aren't called anything such in Pern fiction, but I tend to see neurodivergent traits (of many stripes) depicted in many dragonriders and harpers rather disproportionately. And I'm talking main and side characters.

Circling back to llamas, "herdbeasts" was always so generically used, and often mentioned "mixed herds" cows + sheep actually make a lot less sense in that context than llama + sheep + goats. Cows probably exist if only to get more reliable milk and tougher leather (for garments and harnesses) in greater supply.
