"Chimera Heart operator WILDCAT... what was the damn keyphrase again?" A voice crackled over the intercom. The thunder boomed. The storm had been going for a good 12 hours at this point. "Shit! Just let me in already!" she shouted. The door slid open, and the guard scanned the blood-soaked tiger girl and her unexpected luggage. \QUICK DIAGNOSTICS: - VIXEN operator WILDCAT: severely damaged arm, mental distress peaked - Unknown biological: alive, mortally wounded, barely breathing

The guard nodded, before getting shoved aside as WILDCAT rushed past. She turned immediately towards the stairs to the basement level. The guard shook their head and radioed in for a janitor to be dispatched; the fresh blood trail directly to the safehouse door would attract unwanted attention on a less stormy day.

WILDCAT stepped into the medbay 3 minutes after entering the building. She dropped the half of her arm that had broken off into the electronics bin on her way past the desk.

"Let me-" a medic started to say. WILDCAT growled.

She laid the body on the nearest free bed. "Now you can examine them." she declared, already heading towards the back. The cybernetics half.

The medic engaged their eye augments and stared at the body on the bed. So many fatal wounds... Did WILDCAT really think this local civilian, this unfortunate bystander could be saved...?

The maimed bystander's heart took half a second longer to beat. The medic disengaged their eye augment. "Medical operator calling CHRYSALIS team..."

By the time the 7 minutes it took for WILDCAT to be fitted with a temporary replacement arm and be sent on her way had passed, the body she'd left for treatment had been taken, bed and all.

"There was nothing I could do, the wounds were too deep for me to heal." The medic apologized. "Their heart was already failing too..."

"CHRYSALIS?" WILDCAT asked. It was as much a statement as a question.

The medic nodded solemnly. "I advised the team to send whatever results come from the conversion process to you. Even if it fails-"

...CHRYSALIS could fail? Had it ever failed before? Then again, this would probably be the first time it would be used on someone in this condition...

WILDCAT couldn't help but wonder.

Day 3 of drawing my lesbian ocs/characters!

Here’s Wildcat the serval!

heres like some of her story

the symbol on her forehead is a dwarven rune (from Eragon/The Inheritance Cycle) that sounds like s and short for sundavr, or shadow in the ancient language. All of the Shadow Tribe cult members Wildcat was in has this symbol branded on their forehead.

Wildcat had shitty parents who nearly drowned her as akit, and she ran away, getting taken in by the cult who manipulated her anger towards her parents and corrupted her. She absolutely despised Halfmask after he betrayed her and threw her off a cliff, causing her to hit her eye on a rock and nearly drown. Wildcat has a fear of water and hates being betrayed, especially by her best friend who she thought she knew, and the only person who she told her backstory to.

At the end of the Dragon-Wolf War, she was freed from the cult’s control by Halfmask, and is one of the recovering refugees in the Light Tribe.

She also had a friend named Raven in the Dragon-Wolf War roleplay, and a friend named Dark in the Creature School roleplay. Dark died when Halfmask also threw him off the cliff, hitting his head on a sharp rock. Raven was killed by Quint.

She also has a cousin named Kauket (named after the egyptian goddess of darkness), a melanistic serval thief. She was created in a roleplay after the Dragon-Wolf War with the same friend, but we abandoned the roleplay after a while.

Rules: Share an excerpt from your WIP that describes one of your OCs.

I had to jump on this immediately because I have been basically eating my hand for the opportunity to share this little passage I wrote for AASOAF 3 describing Fay.

To my left was the frightening woman I knew as Fay. She was tall and chiseled but not by a blunt stonemason’s tool, rather by something sharper, a razor perhaps, to produce her wildcat-like frame. Her dark hair and skin gleamed in the low light of this room as if they were slicked in oil and set ablaze. And like many spidering cracks in a fine dish, were angular-looking runes, etched into her skin that came together to cradle a dull-glowing, rising sun drawn in the center of her chest. Revealing this sun was a deeply cleaved red blouse that tucked into her pants. It billowed about her like the sail of a ship did about its mast. Despite the almost ordinary clothing she wore, there could hardly be one who might dare view her as plain, for her opulence shone through in other ways. Just in the hollows of her collarbones sat a fat, rough-cut sapphire dangling from a length of twisted tack line. Her magic blackened fingers were adorned with many rings and jewels in all colors, dangerously finished with her long, talon-like nails that presently gnawed at the wooden table beneath them. Golden hoops and bangles decorated her ears and wrists, and dotting her hair like many stars were human teeth. But those mock stars were hardly terrifying compared to her golden eyes. They shivered with a barely contained rage as she glowered across the table at the woman to my right...

CHIMERA HEART

[This post is subject to change, both additively and subtractively, at any time in the future]

Chimera Heart, a combination mercenary corp/research and development/medical organization, (specifically, the detachment operating in the Polaris region of space) relies on a small but elite crew of operators known as VIXEN.

Each member of VIXEN is an android created by digitizing an organic brain. The exact process of this is unknown since the technology is from the rival organization, ABYSS, but destroys organic components, so is only used if absolutely necessary.

WHITEFOX, also known as Yuki White Tsukinokyu, is specialized in using medium to short range firearms and blasters. Trans woman (on account of how the digitization works; showing an 'ideal' model plucked from the mind of the scanned), lesbian and polyamorous (mostly for fellow VIXEN operators WILDCAT and DRACO but also at least 2 ABYSS agents: EXCARETAKER and [REDACTED]). Has a strong code of honor, and dislikes anyone who would force her to abandon it. Unconfirmed, but she might have gained the ability to use magic at some point, and in the light of an irregular moon gains 8 phantasmal tails.

WILDCAT, a tiger girl proficient in beam sabers and other melee weapons. Also a trans woman who is lesbian and polyam. Fierce, like her namesake, but will not allow bystanders to die, even if it means using advanced technology to make them a VIXEN unit (despite the technology being incredibly expensive to run).

DRACO, a drakyr girl whose primary purposes are electronic warfare and boosting morale. Trans woman, asexual, panromantic and polyam. Has had 30 denied requests to transfer to an updated body, despite her claims that overall morale could be further improved by the changes she wants (and the expected usage of the prior model via the CREA system for any willing staff member to 'pilot' the unused android body).

Fireteam ONI (named after the stylization of their head antenna attachments), 5 separate heavily equipped operators, only ever deployed together, only ever when the only option is absolute carnage: CHX-MA37 "Checkmate", a wolf-type RAZIA-inspired unit. Command-spec modified OS. Puts on a calm and collected front, but finds it hard to focus around those she has a crush on.

CHX-M6C "Mixer", a dragon-type RAZIA-inspired unit. Built for hit-and-run tactics, with rocket boosters incorporated into her wingpack and feet. When not focused on something like a mission or videogame, she can be difficult to keep in one place.

CHX-ARC920 "Rail", a leviathan-type RAZIA-inspired unit. Too heavy to submerge, despite her desire to swim. Confident and a little bit of a showoff.

CHX-BR85 "Ranger", a cat-type RAZIA-inspired unit. Acts as Rail's spotter on missions. Hard to read, but enjoys sitting in the room doing her own thing with the rest of ONI. Responsible for the most accurate relationship chart hosted on the detachments' intranet portal.

CHX-M247 "Terminator", a dragon-type RAZIA-inspired unit. Heavily armored chassis. Acts battle-eager and bloodthirsty, but (not so) secretly craves hugs, pets and getting called "good girl". Surprisingly good at fashion advice, despite all her armor modifications rendering her unable to wear clothes.

(The total number of VIXEN units available to any given detachment is roughly in the 20 to 30 region, though the majority of operators amongst the detachment did not wish to be named in this document.)
