im doing all of their clothes + hair thats my favourite except chase. sorry but hes boring ill say rn i like his trench coat or his little white shirt blue vest combo hes like the han to alex's luke or smth.

i have gone on and on abt my favourite alex fits b4 so i'll just link that ramble...

the thing abt the runaways is that almost all of them have the most perfect fashion taste in the world??? yeah okay so um. if i HAVE to choose. nico in 3x10 is like my absolute favourite. but almost every single look she appears in has my heart.

same goes for karo and gert i love almost all their looks 😭 for karo i'd say my favourite is either 1x06 gala fit or 3x01 wedding fit!!!! and for gert,,, i think the episode is 1x07? the yellow and blue shirt combo that one. i liked the s1 hairstyle with the little braids too i think thats 1x09?

for molly, again i love all her looks but my favourite is deffo 1x03!!! i love the overall + jersey combo

well. he thinks a lot. it's all he has, really. if he's not throwing himself into his work or a new project, he's thinking. he thinks about a lot of things.

nico. the others. his parents. jonah. his old life. his current life. the future. the past. amy. livvie. darius.

he thinks about the way he used to be and all the things he's had to do. he thinks about the smallest of changes, of choices, he could've made and if things would be any different for it.

maybe they'd all be safe and happy. maybe things would have never changed. they'd all still be living their comfortable lives and he'd still be completely blind to the atrocities his parents commited in his own basement.

he thinks about what do to for the next movie night. or should they do game night this time. mario kart was fun. karolina had fun. he likes seeing her have fun. she deserves it. they all do.

maybe he'll go get stuff to make the bread chase liked. speaking of chase, he needs to apologize. for what he said, but also for everything. they fight and bicker and clash so much, but he loves him. they're a family. he needs to make sure chase knows he's not mad.

gert said her hair was fading the other day. she mumbled it and just sighed. they're tight on money. he'll get her purple dye when he goes out. she said something about wanting to try out blue. maybe he'll get some blue too.

molly was craving that chocolate the other day. he'll look for that, get 5 if he finds it. nico said she wanted new jeans. her favourite pair has holes now. not the cool kind. he remembers where she got that exact pair. maybe he'll get karrie the hair clips she wanted to. he can splurge a little. he doesn't mind. for his family? he'd do anything.

maybe he'll see if livvie's free this friday. she said they could try again. he wants to. he wants to make things work with her. he'll take her out to that restaurant she loved by the beach. she'd like that. he hopes so.

sometimes it feels like whatever he tries, it's never enough. it's hard. he does his best, he always does, but he can't shake the feeling that he's a monster. he doesn't deserve this life. any of it. he's hurt people. he's killed. he doesn't feel like himself much anymore. every now and then, when he's with the people he loves, he knows who he is. he's sure of it.

but, there are times, when he's by himself, he hears his voice in his mind. he tells him to grab the knife in the kitchen, plunge into the first head he sees. he hates himself for it. he locks himself in his room and cries. he feels so weak and helpless. he cries. he didn't use to cry much. it started with amy. then, his parents. then, well. it happens a lot now.

he hears a knock on the door and turns around. nico's standing there, with so much concern and love in her gaze he thinks he should just drop to the floor and die. she asked him a question based on her expression and he didn't hear her. she asks is he wants to go out, just them. he says yes.

she walks over to him, grabs his hand, and drags him to his closet. she picks up a bunch of his jackets and holds each one up. he sees the yellow one and his voice returns. he stifles a scream and nico turns to him. she shoves the yellow jacket to the back of his closet. she understands. nico gets it. of course she does. he gives her a small smile and she beams back.

they walk out a couple minutes later to the rest of the family playing a game screaming and laughing. they look so happy. good. he loves seeing them happy. he loves them. nico squeezes his hand. they head out.

yeah, they'll be okay. he'll be okay.

thoughts on alexs dynamics w the other runaways?

nico. they have a very sibling like relationship as you will hear me say for each of these lmao. they both bully + annoy each other like crazy. annoying moody sister and annoying nerd brother. they love each other so so much though. best friends <3 they would kill for each other, they would die for each other. etc. they would also kill each other lmao. so so many thoughts on them always, never the coherency to put them to words. them !!!!

karolina. sunshiney, wholesome best friends <3333 they'd gossip and judge ppl though. if you piss them off they will fuck you up. they still are just the slightest bit awkward sometimes but yk. that's just them. i think they'd bond over bullying chase actually. like dumbass white boy, they'd be all over that shit together. they're both yellow and sunshine coded fuck yeah!! they. they love each other very much. karrie holds literally nothing against alex for the things he did and wanted to do, and he has apologized so much. they do not think abt it anymore. its all good babyyy.

molly. that's his baby sister, tyvm. molly is teasing and annoys (good) him all the time and he just puts up with it. he spoils her. they all spoil her. he and her have movie marathons all the time. well they all do, but these two do it together the most. they watch shows together too! they talk over the whole thing the entire time, commenting on every little thing. um. yeah! i think they'd also race each other all the time. they usually get pretty close. they both win all the time. sometimes they let the other win. they both organize most of the family outings and nights and events. also like. he's the one who insists on throwing molly a party the minute he finds out its her birthday (canon) like yeah guys this is real.

gert. him and gert are best friends!!!!! they are the judgiest (<- is this a real word it isnt looking real rn) together and gossip all the time. him and karo do it in mainly good spirits. him and gert do it in the worst. they will talk shit abt you. ive said this b4 but like. they swap glasses all the time ( they have similar numbers dw) and then somtimes they'll have one person wear both glasses stacked. yippee. though they i think out of all the team, interact the least, i still think they love each other a lot. i mean. gerts death fucked them all up.

chase. THIS IS THE ONE. so like. i think they are the friends ever. they hate and bully and antagonize each other to no end but would drop everything and do anything for the other. god. they drive me crazy. um. the hug. the hug in 3x10. crazy ass shit bro.

i have no FAVOURITE, but i will shoutout a bunch!

first off (dis)honourble mention to my love hate relationship with 3x10, the series finale. and all the alexes. plural. multiple alexes. "why is that a bad thing, ali? isn't more alex good?" NOT like this. tyvm. they massacred my boy or wtv. but also they failed at it too lmao? they didn't massacre him properly he's still there. i will not elaborate on this also. maybe. idk ask if you wnat and ill tell...

personally really like 3x03 + 3x04, bc alex gets to be a little evil and hot!!!!! and murder!!! hes possessed but like wtv. whyd he take his glasses off though. he cant see without them. what was that about.

2x11 OH MY GOD. one of the very rare occasions my babies get to all be happy. molly's quince!!! it all ends horribly though. sad.

2x04 alex meets livvie, hes with her a little, his emotional high. it all goes downhill from here

oh btw after 3x04 alex is like not there. until the third to last episode of the season. btw. oh i just realized its only 3 episodes, but GOD. does it feel longer. they really are not complete without him nico was right what were they thinking.

1x06 CAUSE HE LOOKS FINE!!! im allowed to say this. this is my house. hes in a suit!! if that explains it. they go to a party its angsty etc. 1x09 and 1x10 funnn.

1x01 and 1x02 they all are kinda cute if you ignore the awkwardness

uhh thiw has no structure sorry i do not really remember much abt individual epsidoes for favourites. i never had favourites it was like oh i loved this not this and that happens frequently in every episode.

i strongly dislike 3x05 and 3x06.

3x01 was cute karries dream wedding was prettyyy.

YIPPEE. so yk how he's part of this thing right. so his parents are rich and part of this charity group, and there are a few other families. the charity group is actually a front for bad guy shit. so he and the children of the other parents team up to stop their parents.

it turns out there's a person behind all the bad guy stuff, jonah. he is the biological father of karolina, the glowing rainbow lesbian friend. so. nico, karo's gf, kills him. then, turns out jonah is an alien and he's got a family from some other planet. anyway he gets them there and they inhibit host bodies, bc their true forms are these light beings. and he's really called the magistrate.

the host bodies they choose being: victor (chase's dad), stacey (gert + molly's mom), tina (nico's mom), and someone else.

so, the father is in victor, he's the one who was jonah. he is building a spaceship to go back to their home planet. his wife is in stacey. she is upset bc the father knocked up karo's mom again. he's planning on taking that baby once it's born and leaving his wife behind.

their daughter is in tina, which is hilarious bc she goes from being strict and cruel and cold and stuff, to being this extremely girly extremely horny teen. this is very weird to nico.

however they have no clue who the brother is. he has stayed completely quiet and hasn't starting acting out yet. neither the magistrate and his family know nor do the runaways.

this scares them bc the brother is the worst of the family. he kills for fun and he kills a lot blah blah he's evil. but, he's also incredibly charming and manipulative. so like. he acts all nice yk. he's hot.

so xavin makes the team prove their innocence with these beads that harm the aliens. and they all get cleared. except for alex who had stayed behind last minute to take a call. we cut back to him, driving karo's mom away. he stops at a payphone to call victor and stacey comfirming he's the brother. that's the picture you sent of him on a phone call. he's holding a box of donuts. he choked the guy who worked there to death. poor dude. it was hot though bro

Oh oh oh! Another really random thought of mine: what do you think the arrangements would be if the runaways went on a road trip? Like, who would drive, who would be in charge of directions, who's in charge of the music, the snacks, etc.

And like, an actual road trip. Not them being on the run in general lmao

I think Alex should be driving. Keyword should. he's the most responsible of them honestly. like he's the mom friend somewhat. but more like hes the parent and the rest are the children.

anyway i think they'd take turns driving!!!! alex would drive the most, gert and chase would also have shifts and then karrie too. they all were a little hesitant to let her drive but she can acrually drive fairly well under calm slow relaxing conditions.

molly calls dibs on aux cord!!! though they all take turns again.

so, when kar drives, she gets the aux. gert drives, she gets the aux. chase drives he lets the rsdio play on stations everyone agrees on. alex drives he lets molly get the aux. everyone always goes on abt chase as mollys big brother what abt alex????? hes her big brother too guys come on.

nico does not too a thing lmaooo spoiled princess but they all love her and no ones complaining. and mollys the baby, they wouldn't let her drive even if she could.

they havr fun and like they dont mind being stuffed togetehr for long periods of time anywag bc they live together, but they need periodic breaks.

fun fact did you know the runaways cast rented a house for like a week and lived togther? bc they enjoyed each others company so much and they got along so well. yeah.

marvel's runaways season 3 episode 10. god. what did they do to my boy indeed. LONG RAMBLE UNDER CUT @loganschwarzy

so some context, the second to last episode, there's a big fight one of them dies (gert). and so the very next episode (last of the show), is a time jump. 3 years after gert's death (2021 or 2022). for simplicity, these the 3 year runaways

nico left immediately after gert died, she blamed herself and her powers and lived in isolation to improve and keep the others safe.

karolina is heartbroken for some time, and waits 2 years until moving on. she's goes to ucla and i think is studying psych (with a minor in arts in my heart), she has a gf, julie. who is played by billie eilish's sister in law (yk). she's thriving. her hair is short now.

molly is a senior at atlas and she's cheer captain!! younger kids look up to her and she lives with old lace and chase at the hostel still.

alex (my favourite ever, have i told you that) works with his dad at his tech/engineering company? he's thriving, he's in his element. he's smiling. he works with chase to help him with his time travel. he and the others have karaoke nights.

chase. has doubled in within himself after gert died. he rarely comes out of his room. he rarely leaves the hostel. molly wishes he would spend more time with her, she already lost her big sister, she doesn't wanna lose her brother either. he is shut himself in and thrown himself into inventing time travel.

with alex's help and also the abstract, it takes another 7 years but he does. he invents time travel. for love. he says a really good line abt it. ask again some other time, i'll have it.

now in these seven years, outside. someone in the group tries to blow up alex's office at his work. he survives. but he grows to start hating the others and becomes hell bent on getting revenge. although, there is no proof as to who did it, it apparently was someone in the group. these alex and chase are 10 years runaways.

so just as chase is abt to go back in time to save gert, alex steals one his two time watches and goes back to the day nico reunites with the group. (that same day we meet the 3 year future runaways.) evil alex tries to kill alex but, she is so much better at her powers and stops him. pretty damn easily. and he runs off. 10y chase is close behind and he and 3y nico group up with the others.

chase finds out that 10y alex is gonna use julie to get to karo. and they all group up at karo's apartment. and then 10y alex runs off to go try to mess up the runaways at the beginning of the show so they never get together. and the others follow after him. they find him on a bus. that the younger alex is getting on. and he's like what. i get contacts in the future?? he's so <3

they catch him and sit him down. and then they all agree to go back and save gert. they send 3y alex to the star wars hotel to keep him away bc 2 alexs is complicated. and they go to save gert but alex gets knocked out or smth. he doesn't get brought up again. and then they all disappear.

it's he incredibly confusing bc like. the only possible explanation for him being evil is the magistrate's son is still possessing him. but if that was the case, 3y alex would've also shown signs of evilness. which he does not. and also. 10y alex. isn't entire evil. in fact. the way he quietly listens and reacts to the others at times heavily looks like he still cares abt them so so much. he's just really hurt. but the way he looks at deanoru while they're having their angsty relationship talks is so so soft and loving. for someone who is evil and wants to kill them.

so yeah!! 3 alexs. my boy.
