Hola! Aquí tenéis algunos detalles de mi pieza para la @arttoycon.es (mil gracias 😘) , "The toy lover", a algunos os sonará, ya que es un diseño que hice hace ya algún tiempo para los amigos de @stormyvault, pero tristemente en aquella ocasión mi pieza sufrió graves daños en el envío y finalmente no pudo ver la luz...

Esta vez mi plan es crear 5 piezas únicas con diferentes esquemas de colores (y con una resina mucho mas resistente 😬) y esta ha sido la primera!.

Confío en poder enseñaros el resto pronto! Hasta entonces... A trabajar!.

Here you have some details of my piece for @arttoycon.es (thank you so much 😘) , "The toy lover", probably it's familiar to some of you, because it is a design I did some time ago for the friends of @stormyvault, but sadly on that occasion my piece suffered serious shipping damage and it finally could'nt see the light....

This time my plan is to create 5 unique pieces with different color schemes (and with a much tougher resin 😬) and this has been the first one!.

I hope I can show you the rest soon! Until then... Let's work!.

Por fin!! puedo compartir la última figura en la que he estado trabajando, esta vez es un one off para los amigos de @stormyvault , que amablemente me han invitado a participar en su show dedicado a la nostalgia.

He intentado plasmar el poder evocador que tienen algunos objetos, en este caso, y como enfermo de los juguetes que soy, un muñequito, que despierta una explosión de recuerdos, igual a mas de uno os ocurre también...

Finally I can share with you the last toy I've been workin on, this time is a one off for the pals of @stormyvault , who kindly invited me to be part of their next show, related to nostalgia.

I tried to capture the power that some objects (toys in this case) have to bring back vivid images from childhood, if you like old toys like me, probably you know what I mean...

No todo es resina y aerógrafo en la vida del toyero! Asi que aquí está mi diseño para la caja de Pluto, en este punto me gusta mucho colaborar con verdaderos ilustradores, pero esta vez me ha apetecido darle una oportunidad a mis manos de mutante y así ha quedado la cosa... espero que mole!.

There's not only resin and airbrush in toymaker's life, so, here you have my design for Pluto's box, for that I usualy prefer to collaborate with real illustrators but this time I gave a chance to my mutant hands and that's the result... Hope you like it!.

Que mejor momento que el apocalipsis para presentarte a PLUTO , gladiador de pozo y saqueador del yermo!.

Pluto es un toy de resina de unos 18 cms de alto aprox. Diseñado modelado y pintado por mi y limitado a sólo 20 copias.

Con él innauguro "Sons of Nuke" lo que espero sea mi mini colección de toys postnucleares, y aunque, debido a la situación no puedo cerrar una fecha de lanzamiento fija, si quieres ya puedes reservar el tuyo, a través de los comentarios o un mensaje directo!.

In the not-too-distant future, years will no longer be reckoned by relationship to the birth of Jesus Christ, or AD, having been supplanted by another: After Trump, or AT. Or, at least, this is what will occur according to Spanish artist Rultrón, as detailed in his new sci-fi line "Stranded Star Crew" from the newly formed 6·Forest collective. Continuing the narrative he's created, the year is 2606 AT, and the Harvester 32, a garbage clean-up spaceship from the STARtrash corporation, has been stranded in a black hole. One of its crew, the pictured "Burbag", "has been unemployed for a very long time and has no experience regarding interplanetary ships", though he's somehow become the Harvester 32's engineer. Depicting this lost soul, or "Stranded Star Crew" member, the nearly 7-inch tall (17½cm) polyurethane resin sculpture has been hand-painted and released in an edition of only 50 copies. Coming in specially designed packaging, each with a numbered certificate of authenticity that's signed by the artist, I can't help but feel like this character's style is something I've seen before… And that's most probably true, as we're told that the artist behind the Rultron alias is quite well-known, most having "probably played in a video game where he has collaborated or seen a movie where his artistic stamp is present". With "Burbag" being the first of at least five characters in this emerging world, you can jump aboard this fantastic ride right now by buying the piece from 6·Forest's online shop for 220€ (approx. $258) apiece. http://ift.tt/2yCy2Aa
