Hello World!
I love eating. Unfortunately, in the United States, this makes you bigger. A lot bigger. In order to avoid dying, I have decided to work to maintain a weight of 270 pounds (122kg, 19st) as a 5'11" male. That sounds unhealthy, but I was 492lb (223kg, 35st) at my highest weight.
When I was in high school I was on the wrestling team and 270 to make weight for the 275 weight class. I was very happy with the fathlete build, and I looked up to Olympic gold medalist Rulon Gardner because he serves as an inspiration. He also gained a lot of weight after wrestling, and did a lot of work to lose some of it again on The Biggest Loser whose name I disagree with even though I understand the humor because yes in order to win at life I must first lose.
At some point I may be able to help others, so I have created this page as a placeholder. For now, if you are very large and struggling with extra weight, you should definitely consult your doctor. However, I did have success in a weight loss contest in early 2020. I lost 50 pounds in 3 months using a calorie cycling diet. If your doctor agrees that a calorie cycling diet could work for you, then for now try that. I shall return to add information to this page. I wish you the best.

Aleksandr Karelin
Karelin won three Olympic gold medals (1988, 1992, 1996) and one silver medal (2000) in Greco-Roman wrestling. He also won 9 World Championships and 12 European Championships in his career. Known for his incredible strength, technique and stamina, Karelin was almost unbeatable for most of his career.
Karelin's most famous bout was at his 2000 Olympics in Sydney, Australia, where he lost to American wrestler Rulon Gardner in the gold medal match. The loss was considered one of his greatest upsets in Olympic history, ending Karelin's 13-year winning streak. He also once carries a 500lb refridegrator up a 9-story building and was one of few wrestlers with the ability to pick up and throw other fighters.
Strength can be defined as the ability to exert force or resistance against an external load, object, or enemy. In a physical sense, strength refers to the amount of force a muscle or muscle group can produce during an activity or exercise. This can be measured with various tests such as: B. One-Repetition Maximum (1RM) test. Measure the maximum weight you can lift in one exercise.
Strength can also be defined more broadly to include mental, emotional, and mental aspects. It refers to the ability to stay positive. Emotional strength refers to your ability to manage and regulate your emotions, maintain healthy relationships, and cope with stress and adversity. Mental strength refers to a person's purpose, meaning, and connection to something greater than themselves.

What Rulon Gardner Has Been Up (and Down) to
What Rulon Gardner Has Been Up (and Down) to
Rulon Gardner is crammed into the driver’s seat of a 2006 Volkswagen Beetle. As he weaves around trucks, zipping up I-15 North through Provo, Utah, he may be the biggest human on the highway, packed into one of the tiniest vehicles. But he just loves that little red car, with the odometer approaching 300,000 miles.
Gardner is strong enough to handle the steering wheel with two thick fingers…

Here are some concept sketches of Natives!MalVa I forgot to post.
For the face and top half I mostly stayed faithful to @ben-the-hyena’s design with the lion/ape face (leaning more towards lion in my version of the design).
Since the original drawing only showed the head and bust, I decided to do my own interpretation of the body and outfit. When drawing dark crystal chracters or designing ocs (like with my idea for the natives au Raunip equivalent) I tend to look at the art of Brian Froud for inspiration and reference to get a good balance between the character being unique while still feeling like something that would exist in the Dark Crystal universe.
It was here that I ran into a problem as, while I wanted to go for a slightly chubby muscular body, muscular bodies weren’t a very common body type in Froud’s work. Most of the characters drawn by Froud are either very lanky (the gelfling, firies most of his fairies) , potbellied (most of the skeksis) or mega chonkers (Ludo). In the end I modeld MalVa’s body on wrestlers like Brandon Slay and Rulon Gardner. My reasoning was that while using his bow most of the time, MalVa would also become stronger from fights wrangling larger prey.
For the outfit I recreated the top from the original design while adding this long skirt/loincloth type thing and later the red shawl in the final piece. Since MalVa’s story in the Natives AU takes place sometime during the same time as the creation myths comics and the skeksis and Urru of this period canonically dressed like this:
I figured this MMORPG bakini armour type clothing would be pretty fitting.

Aleksandr Karelin was a Russian wrestler and possibly the most dominant athlete of all time.
Competing in Greco-Roman wrestling, Karelin utterly dominated the sport for almost two decades. He finished his career with a mind-boggling record of 887-2. Both loses were by a single point.
Karelin was renowned for his extraordinary strength. His favourite move, now known as the Karelin Lift, involved literally lifting your opponent off the mat and slamming them down. Given he competed in the 130kg division, this took incredible strength especially since your opponent was desperately trying to break free.
His astounding strength and power inevitably led to accusations of steroid use and birthed the nickname The Experiment. Though entirely possible, there is no actual evidence of Karelin using PEDs. For his part, Karelin himself attributed his strength to “training everyday like a madman. Those who accuse me have never once in their life trained like I train every day of mine.”
It is difficult to overstate just how unstoppable Karelin was. Between 1987 and 2000, he won gold medals at 3 Olympics, 9 World Championships, 2 World Cups and 12 European Championships.
In the 6 years prior to the 2000 Sydney Olympics, Karelin did not concede a single point. He was so dominant that for 6 full years not one of his opponents actually managed to score.
The Sydney Olympics were supposed to be Karelin’s swansong and, once again, it looked like a fourth Olympic gold was inevitable. It was not to be.
In controversial circumstances, the invincible Karelin was defeated in the final by American Rulon Gardner 1-0. For the first time, Karelin had to settle for silver.
Karelin retired after the Olympics, indisputably the greatest Greco-Roman wrestler of all time and possibly one of the most feared and dominant athletes to ever live.

Hello! How about 25, 31 and 40? 😄
25. My role model would definitely have to be Rulon Gardner as weird as it sounds.
31. I am taller than my sister in law. I have six cousins from my moms sister and three of them are adopted and only one is a girl. I own a rabbit.
40. When I was little my friend has this bike they called The Chopper because it almost took her toe off and had zero brakes, but was extremely fast and she was showing me she could do a no hander on it since the steering was really sensitive and I called her a show off, so she said and I quote "oh yeah? I'll show you show off." Let's just say she skidded down the road on her side with the bike and had some serious road rash. We were laughing really hard about it and still do.

Mens Freestyle Champs At The 2000 Olympics
The 2000 Olympic Games for wrestling as a whole carried some spectacular upsets, on the Greco-Roman side of things Rulon Gardner pulled off possibly the greatest upset of all time. There was a massive upset on the freestyle side of things that not many people talk about 55kg- Namig Abdullayev (Azerbaijan) Abdullayev was a very accomplished wrestler in the international scene however he would…
