after spending a long day on his feet in the shop, all kisuke wanted to do was lie down. he wanted to relax and lie down next to you, his wife of many years. recently you both had decided you wanted to try for kids, and happily for both of you, you were expecting.

he thought back to when you had announced to him that you both were expecting.

it was a quiet night in the shop and kisuke had decided to close up early so he could spend more time with you. you hadn’t been feeling well recently and went into town earlier today for some things that would help with your sickness. when you returned, kisuke had ordered you to take some time to yourself to rest and try to get better while he worked.

making his way to your shared bedroom, kisuke hummed to himself lightly. opening the door to the bedroom, he could see your figure resting in bed and made his way over to join you.

"hey babe, i have something i want to show you." he heard you say when he got into the bed.

"of course my dear, what do you want to show me? it better not be a tissue full of snot..." kisuke's sentence trailed off when you rolled over in the bed with a pregnancy test in hand and a smile on your face.

"i think we did it kisuke. i think we're expecting a baby." you whispered.

"oh my god... WE DID IT!" he exclaimed, grabbing you and hugging you.

laughing to himself at the memory, kisuke knew you were upstairs talking with the kids about your time as a soul reaper. when his sentence of being banished was announced, you fled with yoruichi to be with kisuke. when ichigo started training with kisuke, you thought it would be a good opportunity to tell the kids about your experiences and anything that could help them in the soul society. and now that they were back and the most you could do was sit since you were so far along, the kids wanted to keep you company so you weren't alone.

"and this one time, i managed to surprise kisuke and land a super nice punch, straight to his nose! of course i felt really bad when his nose started bleeding, but i think it was that moment that made him like me." you laughed while telling the story.

ichigo, rukia, chad, orihime and uryu all sat with you at the table while you all drank tea.

"oh! anyone wanna feel the baby kick? i feel her." you said.

"...can i?" ichigo asked timidly.

"of course you can big lug, i offered." you took ichigo's hand and placed it on your belly.

"you guys know the gender? i thought you were saving that for when they're born?" rukia asked.

"we don't know yet but my lovely wife here thinks its a girl. i think it's a boy, just to go against her." kisuke spoke up, alerting the others of his presence.

"well i think they're going to be a beautiful baby!" orihime said.

"thank you orihime, i tried real hard." kisuke laughed, making the teens groan.

"i'm the one cooking the baby here kisuke, i think i'm the one who's trying hard." you said, crossing your arms.

walking over to you and placing a kiss on your lips before making his way to the kitchen, kisuke laughed again.

"of course darling." he smiled. "now, who wants dinner?"

you living room broke out into exclamations as the teens were apparently hungry.

both you and kisuke thought that if this is what life would be like with multiple children, you'd be fine. you both loved these teens and wanted to keep them safe, and knew that once your baby was born, the teens would do anything to protect your baby.

Synopsis: It’s winter break in karakura town, you decide to drag the gang along to a park. Unfortunately, you are a menace, Uryu and Rukia joins in the teasing and a snowball fight ensues.. all because Ichigo and you were dumbasses. (I’m so sorry my baby orihime </3 )

Winter break had started and karakura town was blanketed in snow. All the students were bundled up and hunched together in their respective friendgroups like penguins as the snow delicately fell. As always, you and the gang would walk home together, except today you had the bright idea of dragging them to a park to “play in the snow” as if you were children again.

Unfortunately, although Uryu and Ichigo had mutually disagreed, Uryu of course claiming how immature it was; It didn’t take long for them to give in as Orihime thought it was a brilliant and fun idea. The two raven haired females, Rukia and Tatsuki, then followed suit along with Chad.

As the rest went ahead, you then grabbed Ichigo’s hand—the carrot top wearing his usual scowl. You only smiled at him, your cheeks tinted a faint pink due to the cold air as you dragged him along, your back turned to him. Ichigo noticed that faint hue, of course he did. Ever since there was that shift in your friendship, he’s noticed every single thing about you and he couldn’t help but love it all.

You would notice these changes sometimes, but you always brushed it off as being friendly. After all, the sweetest girl you knew and the kindest friend you have—Orihime, loved him very much. It was only a matter of time until she would confess to him. After all, you and the others always reassured her that he would love her dearly. You wouldn’t dare look into those thoughts either, he was your best friend and you were also loyal to your friends. The last thing you wanted was to create a rift between them.

While the two of you went along, Ichigo only focused on you. Taking in everything, there was nobody else but you currently in his mind. He was clouded in his own thoughts, god what could he ever do without you? He shared everything with you. Although right now it could be time for you and him to study for the next term, he couldn’t care less. Everyone was having fun, you were having fun. He loved the smile of yours especially, though he wished it was directed towards him.

“Ichigo— Ichigo!” You called for him, your voice louder than the last. Ichigo snapped out of his trance as he heard your voice before a snowball smacked his face. You only snickered as Rukia joined you in the assault.

“Well well well, someone’s sure lost in thought?” Her tone was teasing as Ichigo felt another smack by a snowball.

He only groaned. A light blush spreading across his face, as if he had been caught. “Oh shut it, Rukia.” He grimaced as he wiped the remnants of snow off his face.

Orihime chimed in, a small chirp in her voice. “Oh cmon Rukia, quit teasing him!” She giggled as she got closer and stood next to Ichigo. “You know even I get lost in thought! Especially about what I’m gonna eat when I get home, like today I was thinking about having pineapple enoki tempura!” She was lively and her voice was loud, but not noisy. Of course, she rambled about food and her weird tastes, but it’s what made the girl a charm to those around her.

“You’re just so adorable Orihime!” You squealed as you made another snowball in your hand. “You know, you would make such a cute girlfriend! Wouldn’t you agree, Ichigo?” You remarked, tone clearly teasing and trying to get under his skin, Orihime on the other hand blushed and stuttered as she tried to defend herself.

“I do agree, Orihime would make for a lovely partner.” Uryu interjected as the poor girl was about to speak. “They already make for a lovely couple.”

Ichigo’s face was beet red at this point from the teasing, so was Orihime’s—although for completely different reasons. He didn’t love Orihime that way, he only loved her like she was family. He didn’t like this position at all, but the reason was getting too much. All the poor boy could do was form a snowball and throw it at Uryu. From there on, a snowball fight ensues as the topic gets diverted.

It was back and forth remarks, snowballs getting thrown. It was chaotic, all the childish bickering—it felt familiar. You smiled to yourself and loudly laughed. It went on for a while. It came to a point where Ichigo was covering Orihime, as if to protect her from the onslaught—until you and your stupid mouth brought out a teasing remark.

“Man look at you! Protecting her like she’s already your girlfriend, eh Ichigo?” You laughed loudly, but that set him off.

He didn’t like it one bit, he never has. Not from you, or anyone. Everything happened fast to him and before he knew it, he already opened his mouth.

“No dumbass, I like you! Not her!” It was loud, everyone heard it. Though, it was already a bit too late to take it back or brush it off. It was a raw and honest tone. You had heard it, you stood there—wide eyed and mortified. Unfortunately for Orihime, she had the same expression and her heart sank in that moment.

Suguru looked down at his daughter in his arms, her tiny hand wrapped around his finger. The baby looked up at him with the same eyes he had, and he couldn’t help but smile gently. Rukia was only six months old, but she meant the world to him.

“She’s awake again” someone said, and Suguru looked up to see you standing there.

“Sorry, did she wake you?” He asked. You shook your head, a smile on your face. “No, I couldn’t sleep. How’s she doing?”

Suguru chuckled. “She’s doing perfect. Couldn’t be better.” As if to prove his point, Rukia made a soft noise and squeezed his finger. He gently traced his thumb over her soft cheek.

Suguru looked at you as he spoke. Even though you’d given birth to her almost six months ago, it still took a lot out of you. He couldn’t even imagine how exhausting it was.

“You should rest.” He carefully shifted Rukia to one arm and grabbed your pillows, placing them behind you. “Lay back down.”

You protested, insisting that you were awake now and you wanted to see her, but Suguru wouldn’t have it. He was as stubborn as a mule, and you could tell by the determination in his eyes that he wouldn’t fold.

“Love, please. Just lay down. You need to rest.”

You finally gave in with a sigh, laying back down in bed. You watched him as he sat on the edge, cradling Rukia in his arms and gently rocking her. She cooed and made soft noises, clearly enjoying the attention from her father.

Suguru smiled at her, the same gentle smile he gave you. “There’s my sweet baby girl.”

He looked up at you. “She gets that from you, y’know” he said quietly. “The way she knows she’s going to get what she wants no matter what.”

He chuckled, holding Rukia close. “You used to give me the same look when you wanted me to do something.”

"Like wanting your dick in that time during the fireworks festival?" you grinned teasing

Suguru’s cheeks went red. “Don’t say that in front of her” he chided, gently covering Rukia’s ears. His hand was big enough to cover her entire head, and it was almost comical how tiny she looked in his arms.

He glared at you, though his eyes were still fond. “You’re never going to let me live that down, are you?” "well if it wasn't for that now Rukia wouldn't be here" you cooed. Suguru’s face was still flushed pink. Even after all this time, he still sometimes got embarrassed when you teased him.

“Y-Yes, well… I know that.” He said with a small pout. But he couldn’t help it, that night was a very fond memory to him. He wouldn’t change it for the world.

He gently kissed the top of Rukia’s head, smiling. The baby girl yawned, letting out a soft baby noise with her big eyes drifting closed. Suguru slowly laid her back in the bassinet next to your bed.

“Looks like it’s about time for her to go back to sleep” he said quietly. He sat back down on the edge of the bed, taking your hand in his. His thumb rubbed over your knuckles.

He moved closer, shifting to lean on his side and rest his head on his hand. His free hand moved to caress your cheek, his thumb gently brushing over your skin.

“You know, six months ago…” he paused, swallowing hard. “When I found out you were pregnant, I honestly had no idea how to react.”

“Never in a million years did I think I was going to be a dad. And now…”

He trailed off again, his eyes shifting to the bassinet next to the bed. Rukia was fast asleep, her tiny chest rising and falling with each breath. Suguru’s face softened.

“And now I can’t imagine my life without her.” "Just wait when her sibling comes" you revelead cooing

Suguru’s eyes widened, his head snapping back to look at you in surprise. “Sibling?” He repeated. He thought for a moment, a smirk slowly spreading across his face. “Are you telling me you’re pregnant again?” you nodded “Already?” He reached out and placed a hand on your stomach. “I mean, I guess I shouldn’t be surprised with how much we… yknow” he chuckled.

He leaned down and placed a gentle kiss on your stomach, as if to greet the baby who wasn’t even there yet. He looked back up at you with a smirk. “I guess I need to be more careful when you’re not on the pill, huh?”

You smacked his arm lightly, blushing a little at his words. Even after years together, he could still make you flustered with ease.

Suguru chuckled. “I’m just saying, I knew there was gonna be consequences to our… activities.”

He snickered lightly, still gently rubbing your stomach. “I never thought in a million years I’d have children. And yet here I am, with a gorgeous wife, a beautiful daughter, and another one on the way.”

He leaned back up and shifted closer to you, wrapping his arms around you and pulling you close. He nuzzled his face into the crook of your neck, placing a gentle kiss on the skin there.

“I love you” he murmured, his hands running over your back. "love u too" you cooed snuggling closer to him.

Suguru held you close, his arms wrapped tightly around you. He inhaled, breathing in your scent. It was one of his favorite things to do, and sometimes he still couldn’t believe that he finally had you.

He had everything he never thought he’d have. A loving family, a home, a purpose. Even though he was still doing things that weren’t exactly good, he felt a sense of fulfillment now.

And that was all thanks to you.

ANGST Rant- Fic Ideas POST.

Do not read if you do not FW angst and Toxicity.

Love my babies but i’m a fic writer. I crave some toxic scenarios too. Mind me. I love IH with all my heart.

Something about Ichihime is that I cannot write toxicity with them or like full on angst without crying or feeling bad for writing it. I still do tho😭🤣

There was this fic I read a long time ago, the author discontinued it, where IR got married but they’re unhappy. So they cheat. And listen. I hate cheating. BUT my ships cheating FOR each other is a completely different thing 💀 The downside is that it ruins my babies best friendship and it’s obviously OOC🤧 like Ichigo and Rukia, dumber and dumber, Chip and chop, Eddy and Crash. Breaks my heart. But i want to write something like that! toxic, angst! questionable ending! is it really happy! trust issues! 🤧 i don’t know. where they fight their own feelings for mistakes they made and have to live with it. Where Hime and Renji don’t trust them completely anymore when they lament their failed marriage and not seeing them before.

i have another with a chapter already done, where Ichigo was scared of his feelings, after sleeping with Hime a couple of times, and moved away for college without telling her. he leaves a note at her bedside. He comes back engaged to another girl after a little less than a year. [you know in real life, how some men end year long relationships, but get married a few months after to the next woman. i was thinking of that.] twist is that when he comes back to present the girl, the first person they meet is her. Hime fully LOATHES him, but he’s still in love with her while engaged. PINING. 😭 SEE. Like I was crying writing this. That might stay in the drafts. yall might hate me if i published this.

I had another one. Arranged Marriage, historical AU where Ichigo is forced to marry her, she didn’t want to get married at all but to access her wealth she needs to. He had a lover before her that he still wants to see, i don’t know if an OC or a character. But she lets him see the girl, neglected and alone, Orihime withdraws from him, she’s not caring anymore knowing that nothing will get him to see her and starts to fall for the man of another house that consoles her in her loneliness. He misses her, he starts to look for her. A little too late. Hime is conflicted and hurt because her love wasn’t enough for him to notice her. this one might end in a sad ending for IH or a bit complicated if i twist it around. BUT ANGST. ANGST. ANGST. 💀

These are just ideas. i have multiple fluffy fics planned for Ichihime, i just needed to balance them out. 🤣 and share them. like nothing is better than breaking your own heart at thinking of angst scenarios 😭😭😭 like i was crying. my eyes were puffy. why would i do that to myself!!!

I'm curious now - why / what do you like about Inoue and Renji ?

Well...

I liked Ori from the start. She was cute, bubbly, & pretty with a likable personality & potential to be a cool character, what with her powers & dreams.

I started shipping her with Ishida in the SS arc, as their interactions were cute. They actually had a good bond, he protected her & she ended up trying to protect him in her own way in the Fullbring arc & was concerned for him in TYBW.

Then in the HM arc, I also started shipping her with Ulquiorra, whom she had amazing chemistry with. Unlike everyone else who mostly babied her (& was mostly indifferent like Ichigo 💀), he challenged her, found her fascinating & believed her to be a strong woman. She finally showed some of her mental strength & further potential to do something important to the overall story; she kept saying she wanted to become stronger, right? I was hoping this would finally be it, that we would finally see her become the character she could be (when she had saved Tatsuki, i was like, "Ok, we're getting somewhere. Hope we see more of this." I was waiting for it...)

However, that turned out to not be so. 😮‍💨 It was also in the HM arc where I started to truly find her exasperating as well. This is the arc that should've solidified that IH do NOT work together. Some of her worst moments happened here & the prelude to it. Her rather cringey confession to, & attempted kiss on an unconscious Ichigo, choosing to say goodbye to him (whom she barely knew) instead of her best friend Tatsuki, her lack of backbone against Loly & Menoly & then healing them to top it off (absolute insanity, I could not believe her. Who the hell cares what Grimmjow did to them? Have some respect for yourself, girl!), fearing Ichigo while he fought Grimmjow for Rukia & having little Nel have to push her to snap out of it... and then her worst moment: her breakdown at the dome when she begged an unconscious Ichigo to save her.

My God, this was the first time I found her unbelievably annoying & couldn't believe her. This should've been the moment as the secondary heroine of the series, where she should've stood up in the face of danger. A moment where any female character worth her salt would've shown her resilience. Rukia, even when powerless, had shown us this. Ichigo's sisters showed us as well in the first chapter. (Ppl sure love to compare Ori to Hinata from Naruto, but one of their MAIN differences is that my girl Hinata did what NO ONE ELSE did—not even the main heroine—& threw herself in the face of danger to help Naruto against Pain, despite how much stronger her foe was, confessed to a conscious Naruto, & her sacrifice led Naruto to gain 6 Fox Tails to defeat Pain—and mind u, Naruto subconsciously led the fight away from her 👀. The first person he thought of when he regained consciousness was her & he cried in relief that he didn't harm her nor others. What she did meant a lot to him).

But alas... Ori disappointed me greatly here. I insist, what happened at the dome should've solidified for everyone that IH do NOT work together. Ichigo's Hollow was protecting Ichigo, not anyone else (face-planted Ori & stabbed Ishida who was trying to protect her. He would've killed them had it not been for Ulquiorra). It wasn't an IH moment; anyone who thinks that severely lacks reading comprehension. Ichigo felt sickened by what he did, not feeling like a victor at all (and it wasn't until he talked to Rukia again a bit later that he felt a bit better).

(Imagine if Ori had stood up against Ulquiorra, arms spread out to protect Ichigo, & he stopped before her in shock & might've told her to move but she resisted, then he questioned her & they started talking & she pleaded for him to stop this & Ulquiorra became more curious &— Like, would he have genuinely hurt her, tho? He ended up protecting her from Vasto Lorde Ichigo, whom she feared, while she showed NO fear of Ulquiorra in their farewell scene... )

Honestly, Ori's best moments in this arc, her only good moments, were with Ulquiorra. He should've lived & I stand by it. While I like IshiHime & wish they had ended up together, had Ulquiorra returned, I would've given a solemn salute to Ishida & eagerly boarded the UlquiHime train. Unlike with IshiHime, I actually engage with UH fan content so... 🙃

Unfortunately, Ori only got worse from here. Her ongoing silly crush on Ichigo was even more exasperating; I was hoping she'd have finally gotten over him after the dome (heck, I'd been hoping she'd get over him since the SS arc). She did not do anything amazing in the Fullbring arc, only regressed, & same in TYBW. Kub0 just didn't seem to care to develop her, despite her potential with her powers & early personality. She will forever be one of the characters with the most wasted potential to me.

Ori was just too pitiful around Ichigo. She was not at her best around him. And Ichigo was certainly not at his best around her. Because of that horrendous ending that only solidified Ori's lack of character development & bad writing, I'm not interested in engaging with her solo content. Only UH & sometimes IshH content 🤷‍♀️. I understand the criticisms towards her character & agree with several, tho some ppl do take it a little too far imo. I also have a post here where I similarly rant about her character a bit. There is also an amazing analysis & theory of her role in the story here & my added opinion.

About Renji (sorry I ranted about Ori, lol), I didn't like him at first, as he was introduced as an unlikable villain who was trying to obstruct Ichigo from saving Rukia. He changed for the better after he got humbled by Ichigo & became a good friend & ally (& also showed support for IR 🫢). So, I like him because of that. I'm not a fan of him & stuff, tho. I dislike RR, tho not as much as IH; it's mostly just "meh" to me.

So yeah, sorry for the long rant. Hope this answers your question!

If I were Rukia I would not last.🥰

One of my biggest peeves from watching bleach was the whole Hisana thing lmao. Like. If I were homegirl Rukia I would’ve been fuming if I found out I had a sister all along that abandoned me as a baby and lived it up being married to a noble while I was out on the street fighting for my life😭💀 ik it’s not that serious but something about that situation had me laughing but also feeling really bad for Rukia and Byakuya lmao.

Y’all can fight me on this but Hisana was messy for not ever mentioning Rukia until her last breath like girl-💀💀💀wouldn’t that be something to clear up BEFORE you got married 🗿literally screaming rn. Ik she made a difficult choice and still felt guilty, but to do all that and STILL not return the feelings of the man that loves you and MARRIED you while also dumping that lore on him to leave him to figure it out after he inevitably grieves your death. Bffr.😭🧍🏽‍♀️. That’s all I could think about after watching that point in the series, like did you not think that Rukia would be reeling from all that info and ur husband having to deal with trying to find her and then taking her in when his whole family was against commoners to begin with. Chile- anyways…….

That’s before the very crucial point that she left him of not ever telling Rukia the truth about being her sister, like……..say what you want about her but to even think of doing that when you’re the one who decided to leave her and not find her BEFORE you got married is-💀ik it was hard for her to even find clues but you would think that she would’ve told her HUSBAND about her little sister AT SOME POINT before she even gets sick or married, like huh. It rly makes her come across as careless but Imma stop there.

Have I ever mentioned that I love Renji 💖🤲🏽😤. Rip his forehead with his sculpted widows peak, but this man had me in a chokehold when I first started getting into bleach and he continues to do so. It’s been yrs since I last watched, I left off on the climax of the Aizen battle. Hopefully I’ll have time to finish it sometime this yr.

{edit}: so yeah, apparently Hisana DID tell Byakuya about Rukia ,but like, if the soul society is that big then I think it would’ve made more sense for her to cut her losses and give up on finding her since the population is always growing. Now that would’ve made for more interesting plot for Rukia and Byakuya when they inevitably run into each other and Byakuya is left a mess seeing this girl that looks exaclty like his wife,….wait im accidentally making another au that i have to draw now😭🗿🧍🏽‍♀️🤡

I didn't actually want to say the first thing that popped into my mind--I do a fair amount of these memes, so I've had to answer what is my best line/fave line/etc before and naturally those were the ones that floated to the surface. Instead, I tried to just let my mind drift over various stories I had written to see if some particular thing would pop out, and here's what I got:

16. Current favorite phrase. This summer, I feel deeply in love with the writing of Ann Leckie, like, I think she might be my favorite author now. A phrase that Ann Leckie characters use all the time is to respond "Just so," to something they agree with. It's just a great phrase because I feel like you have to have some level of self-confidence, of bearing to go around saying shit like this. It's like "Yes, I am glad you see the truth of this thing that I, obviously, already knew." I am do not feel remotely capable of writing Imperial Radch fanfic, but I do feel capable of making certain Gotei captains say "just so" and now I do. So if you see one of those in my writing, that is me in my Ann Leckie era.

19. Headcanon I always include. "Rukia" is a name that Rukia gave to herself. I don't see any reason that she would know what the name she died under. She was a baby. Name magic is one of my very favorite themes in writing, and this is a very important part of the magic of Rukia's character, to me. I will never, ever say what her original name was, even though Byakuya knows what it is because Hisana told him. It doesn't matter. Rukia is her real name. (Is this why Hisana could never find her...? Perhaps)

renji, despite what people (ichigo) think, is so incredibly gentle when it comes to you. yes, he's a little blunt sometimes and has argumentative tendencies with his friends.. but when it comes to you, he'd rather throw himself off of the repetence cell than treat you that way. he still acts like himself but always makes sure he's keeping within your boundaries and showing you as much love and affection as you desire.

sometimes he makes jokes about his wounds when you're patching him up and god, does it piss you off because he's literally bleeding out. when he notices your clenched jaw and the fact that you're not laughing he frowns and apologises because he knows you're worried. "i'm sorry baby, don't be mad", "you know i always pull through"

-> you roll your eyes and cross your arms and he sits up with a smirk, wrapping his arms around your waist from behind and leaving gentle kisses on your neck and jaw. he is SO cocky when you sigh and turn around, kissing his lips. "can't stay mad at me forever, hm?"

renji with a human s/o who has him getting a little more excited when he's tasked with going to the world of the living. he immediately rushes to your home and knocks on your door. you open the door with eyebags and messy hair and chewing your fingers anxiously. your eyes widen when you see your beloved redhead boyfriend.

-> he notices your appearance and lets out a sigh as he pulls you into a hug — he knows you were worried sick about him but it was inevitable given your situation. he squeezes you and runs a hand through your hair, "'m so sorry, sweetheart..." he mumbles to you. "i'm okay. i'm here."

renji abarai is a one direction STAAAAAN. his favourite song is steal my girl and i know this man ugly cried, rolled on the floor, screamed into his pillow when they disbanded. he 100% had a twitter fan account and would troll crazy larries and babygaters, giggling in his bed.

one time ichigo dared him to do bloody mary and he kept making noises outside of the bathroom... renji refused to pee or shower without you in the room with him for three months. THREE. MONTHS.

he asked you to be his s/o by taking you on a cute little picnic date. he asked rukia to help him make a little basket up with sweet treats, sandwiches etc. he brings little canvases and oil paints along with a lego orchid set for you two to make together.

-> he tells you that you should paint eachother and when you show eachother your paintings he has painted (attempted to anyway) your favourite animal/flower/other and next to it written 'be my (preferred)?' in red oil paint.

renji is a massive cuddler and gives THE BEST HUGS. he is so so warm and his soft cologne is so comforting that you just melt into him. he gives big bear hugs. wraps his arms around you and rubs your lower back with one hand as the other pets your head. UGHHH !!!!

I made this small family tree of the ichiruki family (I thought of calling it the secondary branch of the Kuchiki Clan) 

Ichigo and Rukia built their family and had 4 beautiful babies, a boy and three girls: Ayato, Mirai and the twins Mahiru & Saori, and a grandson, son of Mirai, named Satoru. 

I really like the headcanon Captain Rukia and Lieutenant Ichigo, so I made it here too, and I also made Ichigo acquire the name Kuchiki, yes, Kuchiki Ichigo. 

A little about this family: 

— Initially Ichigo wanted to work alongside Rukia for the Thirteenth Division, but he ended up going to the Eleventh…under pressure from Zaraki.  He only went to work with Rukia when he became a lieutenant.

— Ichigo shares the rank of lieutenant with my oc Kagura Mikazuki

 — Isshin returned to live in Soul Society, Karin went with him.

– As the Kuchiki mansion is huge, they live there together with Byakuya and his family (oc x Canon), what initially was a place with only the Kuchiki siblings, is now full of children

— They got married after the war, lived their first years without children, Ayato was a surprise baby, Mirai was planned and Rukia got pregnant with her between 5-6 months after Ayato was born. 

— The twins were conceived after a night of drinking.  It was a Risk pregnancy and Rukia thought she was going to die

— Ayato is very protective of his sisters and gets along very well with them. 

 — Ayato was born the day before Rukia's birthday, Ichigo and Satoru have the same birthday.

 — Rukia gave a chappy plush to each of her children.

— Ayato and Hidemi got married when he was 21 and she was 20. They started dating when they were teenagers. 

— Only Ichigo, Rukia and the rest of the family know who the biological father of Mirai's child is. 

— Mahiru has a more violent instinct and has a taste for fighting and blood. She takes a certain pleasure in killing.  

— Saori is a ray of sunshine, she is the liveliest and happiest in the family. She's the type to make cookies for everyone. 

— Mirai is the quietest among the siblings, She is graceful and delicate, She looks to her parents for inspiration and dreams of being just as powerful with them. Mirai's Zanpakuto is Fire-type, like Isshin.

Human Verse - Rukia Kuchiki (Tag: Rukia - Human AU: A Soul Within A Body)

Rukia’s background in this verse is similar to her background in canon. She was raised on the streets since she was a baby, in a very poor area. Her parents abandoned her for unknown reasons. Rukia is still able to recall faint images of their faces but has long since given up finding out why they left or what happened to them. She has had to fend for herself on the streets since the age of 5, often going hungry, feeling extreme weather, and constantly on high alert from other people. She has witnessed the darkest side of humanity at such a young age. She was finally brought to an orphanage at the age of 8 where she met Renji Abaraii (this can be adjusted if needed). Rukia naturally keeps to herself as a loner but developed a friendship with Renji and formed their own makeshift family of sorts while there.

A few years later, Rukia is adopted by the Kuchiki family. They are very wealthy and own several profitable businesses in Japan. The true reason behind adopting Rukia was that they wanted to have both a boy and a girl but were unable to have another child after Byakuya and wanted the social clout of adopting an orphan. Rukia was their ideal choice as she looked similar to their son Byakuya where most would assume they were blood siblings. Since both parents are very busy running their businesses, Rukia is often left in the care of Byakuya, who is several years older than her. Knowing her past, he becomes very protective of her even toward his parents, often shielding her from the more unpleasant social events as Rukia’s reserved nature is an obstacle to climbing the social ladder. 

Due to her past, Rukia also has frequent visits with the family therapist. She has a more reserved personality, not interested in interacting with high society which her parents take as a “shy” personality. In reality, Rukia is just highly selective of her friends and who she lets in her inner circle. With those select few, she allows her true personality to show, often using physical touch such as punching/kicking, etc. The only exception is Byakuya who Rukia respects too highly to interact with in that way.  She suffers from nightmares, CPTSD, anxiety, etc. Though most of the time, she is able to manage this and present herself in a neurotypical way, it will be obvious occasionally depending on the circumstance. 

Rather than taking a ton of medication, Rukia prefers to work on this through a devotion to martial arts. She is an avid student of Karate, Judo, Kyūdō, and kenjutsu. She uses these disciplines to work both her mind and body when feeling out of control and also to ensure that she can protect herself. Her parents disapprove of these ‘hobbies’ as they are not typical for high society women but Byakuya encourages it, also studying these practices himself. 

She is privately tutored in their home until she is ready to attend the same private schools as Byakuya. Depending on the timeline, she also attends the same university. Rukia has always had a love for drawing and decides to pursue a graphic design degree. She hides chappy rabbits in her designs much to the chagrin of her professors and parents. Byakuya, however, loves this and encourages her to continue.

She has a penchant for high spaces, and can frequently be found relaxing in a tall tree with her sketchbook.

16. Five years after Byakuya and Ichigo's first child, Kuchiki Minako, was born, Renji and Rukia had their second child.

A little baby girl that they decided to call Byakuren to honor Byakuya.

He acted in a very composed manner... Until he was alone with Ichigo on their bedchambers. Only then did he cry of happiness.

Eren: I could tell that you were faking it the whole time. Hell, you even went by a different name! It was Krista

Historia: Guilty as charged! Being Krista was exhausting.

Eren: I was so glad when you dropped that persona.

Historia: When I met you in college, I knew that you were a guy that I could trust. I remember when I first told you my real name and a massive weight was lifted off my shoulders.

Eren: I remember that, too.

Orihime: (whispering) This is so cute!

Me: I know, right? This reminds me of how Ichigo and Rukia got together!

Rukia and Mikasa: Ah shit!

Orihime: Where did you come from?!

Me: I've been here the whole damn time!

Eren: So do you...

Historia: Yes!

Eren: Really? That's great! I'll meet you after rehearsals

Me: Alright, everyone tomorrow, everyone needs to be at the top of their games!

Everyone responded to me, and they all begin to leave

Orihime looks at Levi and Mikasa, Ichigo and Rukia, and now Eren and Historia holding hands looking at each other with love

Orihime doesn't want to admit it, but she does have feelings for Ulquiorra. She loves seeing him being gentle with his daughter Nel

Orihime: Maybe I should tell him how I feel about him!
