Ravage is a large black cat, Buzzsaw is a "pet" crow, and Ratbat is a pet rat(I couldn't justify a pet bat). Lazerbeak is TFP Soundwave's "pet" raven. The boys named all the animals. The birds are "pets" because I don't think it's legal to have them as pets.

These guys have become some of my favorites to play with in this silly Humanformers AU thing. Soundwave/Walt is so tired. He's a pretty chill guy, but he's got his weird cryptid younger brother (who lives in an underground bunker in the woods, wears a formal suit all the time, wears a weird mask, and hardly ever talks), then he's got his twin boys, who are a... handful. Don't ask who the mom is, I do not know. But they are actually his.

Walt is a musician streamer called MrSounders, but part of the appeal to his audience is the nonsense that happens in the background. Usually the twins do or say something insane. Like, they once decided to play "piñata" with their friend, Samson(OC), which consisted of tying up Samson and hitting him with a bat. They didn't mean it maliciously, they're just stupid. Walt stopped it before anyone got hurt.

Nobody is sure what Wade's deal is. He's got surveillance on the whole city, but why....?? And the suit???

Okay so i gotta talk about Gen V ep 5 or am gonna explode!

And gotta talk about The Boys S4 spoilers for 2 reasons... 1) something mentioned by Dr Cardosa in the episode and 2) the VoughtHQ twitter leaker... mainly cuz am getting this after trying to check on a leak from season 4... their twitter also wont load for me... like can we just let Becca Saunders rest? Can her poor life stop being milked for manpain??

Spoilers under cut obvi.

First-- off congrats Marie and Jordan I hope you 2 get married and be the power couple this universe needs.

Second here its out Butcher cameo lol. I think this is from S1 after killing madelyn but seeing him in a beanie its so weird altho there is a Homelander article in the same page so who knows.

Third-- Cate you poor bitch!! I felt so betrayed but i dont doubt she its being brainwashed/groomed by Dean Shety so maybe she can be redeemed and her powers are too strong.... i dont doubt that there its a chance she its involved in who appears in ep 6 if thats not a halucination.

Fourth-- Dr. Cardosa mentioning a virus to deal with them... so i guess thats how we r gonna deal with the supe population and why i think the vought hq leak might be real as it mentions the virus as well... i think its super interesting that Vought its developing a virus to kill supes, i guess stan edgar did had a way to make V24 viable despite having supes and maybe a way to get rid of Homelander... by giving him the common cold i guess.

Fifth-- am glad that Maverick is another bisexual king but its the bestiality jokes necessary?? altho I assume his alpaca gf Sloane its just a shapeshifter. So far we got Marie, Jordan, Emma, Cate and Andre as our bisexual monarchs and thats basically the whole cast sans Sam... absolutely iconic Kripke, best apology after fucking up Dean Winchester but i wont forgive you for what u did... still thank you.

Sixth-- the pv for the next ep has fucking Soldier Boy!!! Deep down i feel he its most likely a halucination... saw some ppl theorizing that Cate its mindstorm daughter and she witnessed Mindstorm getting killed by SB so she will use her powers to send them to a mind prison to fight SB which is absurd but i doubt SB its there unless Cate's powers were use to brainwash soldier boy and use him as a weapon in the future, as his powers r too good plus is Vought wants to kill all supes then it makes sense for them to team up with the american govt and have SB as back up while they work with the Superona.

Seventh-- i only now noticed there its a wall poster for homie and loneliness on those school mental health ads which is sad and funny.

Eight-- overall great episode loved how much its happening and its only been days inside the canon, and fuck Rufus! How its the next 3 eps gonna kill me!! Like its too freaking much!!

And finally this shit...

I would not be surprised if this virus is the one being developed in The Woods by Vought, second if this is real then Butcher its a complete pos and a hypocrite i expect the following scenarios of: a) during the time Becca was raped or the wk she went missing thats when Butcher cheated on Becca so its not hatred that motivated his revenge against Homelander but guilt for cheating on his wife... probably with his married fbi plug if i had to take a guess. Or B) Becca learned of his affair decided to have her own affair with Homelander tried to end it which resulted in her S.A. which its why Homelander doesnt see what he did as rape bcuz i guess its not assault if its ur GF/Wife in his mind.

And i guess he takes V or the V24 never left his body unless some Supe can give powers which cause Butcher to use them am so confused is he like a power conduit???

I am gonna say Frenchie or MM will die in this story unless by main characthers they mean any of the Seven, Vought execs or Neuman... doubt Hughie, Starlight, Kimiko or Homelander are gonna die in S4.... but maybe Ashley who knows.

And finally giving cookies to Ryan did like HL saw the tumor felt sad for Butcher and decided to let him see Ryan? or did Ryan just sneaked out and met Billy??

MURDER AT THE VANITIES

Writers: Carey Wilson and Joseph Gollomb, based on the play by Earl Carroll and Rufus King

Synopsis ~ Shortly before the curtain goes up at Earl Carroll's Vanities, someone is attempting to injure leading lady Ann Ware, who wants to marry leading man Eric Lander. Stage manager Jack Ellery calls in his friend, policeman Bill Murdock, to help him investigate. They find the corpse of a murdered women. Bill suspects Eric of the crime, especially, after the second female lead Rita Ross told him she saw the women leaving from Eric's room. Rita is shot onstage with Eric's gun. 

PRINCIPAL CAST 

Carl Brissson (Eric Lander) was a Danish-born actor and singer making his only appearance with Lucille Ball. He would only make two more films before leaving film acting. 

Victor McLaglen (Bill Murdock) would win an Oscar in 1936 for The Informer. He would be nominated again in 1953 for The Quiet Man. This is his only appearance with Lucille Ball. 

Jack Oakie (Jack Ellery) would be seen with Lucille Ball in That Girl From Paris (1936) as well as both Annabel films (1938). 

Kitty Carlisle (Ann Ware) made her film debut in this movie. She later married playwright Moss Hart and became an arts advocate.  She was also frequently seen on talk, quiz, and panel shows. This is her only appearance with Lucille Ball. 

Dorothy Stickney (Norma Watson) was a stage and screen actress making her only appearance with Lucille Ball. 

Gertrude Michael (Rita Ross) was also seen with Lucille Ball in Hold That Girl, released two months earlier. 

Jessie Ralph (Mrs. Helene Smith) was also seen with Lucille Ball in the 1934 films The Affairs of Cellini and Nana. In 1936 they appeared together in Bunker Bean. 

Charles Middleton (Homer Boothby) was also seen with Lucille Ball in The Bowery (1933), followed by Nana and Broadway Bill, both in 1934. 

Gail Patrick (Sadie Evans) would also be seen with Lucille Ball in 1937′s Stage Door. 

Donald Meek (Dr. Saunders) appeared with Lucille Ball in The Whole Town’s Talking and Old Man Rhythm (both in 1935), as well as Having Wonderful Time (1938), and Du Barry Was A Lady (1943). 

Toby Wing (Nancy) makes her only appearance with Lucille Ball. 

Duke Ellington (Himself) was a composer, orchestra leader, and one of music’s most legendary personalities. This is his only time performing with Lucille Ball. 

UNCREDITED CAST 

Lucille Ball (Earl Carroll Girl) makes her ninth film since coming to Hollywood in 1933. Although she started out as a Goldwyn Girl at RKO, here she is a Earl Carroll girl at Paramount. 

Ann Sheridan (Lou, Earl Carroll Girl) went on to a successful acting career known for her roles in the films San Quentin, Angels with Dirty Faces, They Drive by Night, The Man Who Came to Dinner, Kings Row, Nora Prentiss, and I Was a Male War Bride.

Virginia Davis (Earl Carroll Girl), as a child actress, was Walt Disney’s original Alice in Wonderland in a series of silent shorts from 1923 to 1925.

Alan Ladd (Chorus Boy) found success in film in the 1940s and early 1950s, particularly in Westerns, such as Shane and in films noir. He was often paired with Veronica Lake in films such as This Gun for Hire, The Glass Key, and The Blue Dahlia.

Shep Houghton (Chorus Boy) also appeared with Lucille Ball in such films as Too Many Girls (1940), Lured (1947), Easy Living (1949), and Critic’s Choice (1963). On TV he appeared on two episodes of “The Lucy Show” and one “Here’s Lucy.”  He was one of the Winkie Guards in The Wizard of Oz  and a Southern Dandy in Gone With The Wind, both in 1939.

Many of the Earl Carroll Girls featured in the film were authentic cast members from Carroll's stage show, which ran on Broadway from November 1933 to March 1934. These cast members were brought out to Hollywood from New York especially for this film, and many stayed to pursue film careers.  Earl Carrol Girls who appeared in the stage version of Murder at the Vanities, but not this film version, included Dudone Blumier, Eunice Coleman, Muriel Evans, Evalyn Knapp, Helene Madison, Lorna Rode and Marion Semle. Also in the cast was a Ruth Mann, who was probably Helen Mann.

The film was based on a Broadway production of the same name, but completely rewritten for the screen and with all new musical numbers.

In “The Audition” (ILL S1;E6) aired on November 19, 1951 Lucy says to Ricky:  “I’ll bet if Ziegfeld or Earl Carroll had seen me, they’d sign me up like that!” She then puts a lampshade on her head and struts about the room in a moment recycled from the (then) unaired pilot. 

This film contains a song and dance number called “Sweet Marijuana”. It got past the censors because at the time the film was made, the drug was not illegal. Today, many prints omit this production number all together.

The film also introduced the standard “Cocktails for Two” by Arthur Johnston and Sam Coslow. 

Gimbels in New York did a promotion in connection with the film, selling Mojud Clari-phane stockings using images of some of the Earl Carroll Girls. Sadly, Lucille Ball is not among them!

The film was a box office disappointment for Paramount.

The underrated Soundtrack of Shrek

“Shrek” is an animated comedy movie from DreamWorks placed in the year 2001. Even though many considered it as a children’s movie it is certainly not. It has some clever jokes that you may have passed by when you were a kid but laugh now as an adult. Although it is a really fun movie, I am here to talk to you about the soundtrack. The movie starts with the iconic song “All Star” interpreted by Smash Mouth who at first rejected the offer from the production for the use of the song, but then later accepted realizing the success that the movie would have. I think they certainly made the right choice considering that many of us cannot separate the song from the movie and vice versa.

Then we have “Bad Reputation” by Joan Jett, an edgy and upbeat punk song with Joan singing euphorically, making it really catchy. The song is perfect for the scene in which Shrek fights Lord Farquaad’s Knights. The song makes the scene more entertaining and fun and the lyrics really match up with Shrek, considering that he is a lonely ogre.

When Shrek thinks that he has been betrayed and we see him go separate ways from Donkey and Fiona, we hear the beautiful song “Hallelujah” interpreted by Rufus Wainwright accompanied with a piano in a moment that sets perfectly the sad mood for the scene. Later we have “I’m a Believer “ interpreted again by Smash Mouth with the voice of Eddie Murphy (Donkey’s voice actor) a catchy song with 2000’s vibes with lyrics like “I thought love was only true in fairy tales…” which makes reference to the universe of Shrek. The song is considered as one of the best of the franchise, it sets a perfect ending for the first movie.

In the second movie we have “Accidentally in love” performed by Counting Crows. The song has a pop-rock sound and it’s played in the honeymoon scene. Afterwards, Jennifer Saunders (who gives an amazing voice performance playing the part of the fairy godmother) sings “Holding out for a hero” in a dramatic tone accompanied with a piano and later a synthesizer rhythm as Shrek and his crew are trying  to reach the castle to save his relationship.

Finally, the last song that I want to mention is used in the third delivery of the franchise, which is the “Immigrant song” by Led Zeppelin, using the iconic intro as Snow White calls the forest creatures to break into the castle and save the day.

The guide to recruiting followers in A Captive State

In A Captive State, player can recruit up to 3 followers (or possibly 5 or 6 followers) to join fight against the Scavengers and the Disciples over the streets of Chicago, similar of those Saint's Row and later Fallout games.
