I feel like Capri gets to be a kid again when she around them, she lived most of her life surviving. That and it’s a bitter sweet memory of Mike looking up to her, when he was younger.

Basically Capri adopts them without even knowing

More Motorcity X Pixar Cars Stuff

Was too lazy to digitally color everybody. I did have a design for AJ, Rayon, Thurman, The Oracle, Ruby, and Jenzen, but I think I lost them.

Some design notes:

-Kane is based on his roadster from Vega

-Tooley is a Maru (Planes 2) Styled Forklift

-Tennie, The Duke, Red, Bracket, Foxy, Junior, and Jacob are based on their own cars

-Babs/No. 2 is based loosely on Finn McMissile's early design from Cars 1

-Kaia is now a Road Rumbler/Road Warrior-styled car with military plane wings on her back to reference the wings from Mayhem Night

-Claire is a sports car.

I would talk abt motorcity but i need to gather shit about it like a dragon gathering gold in its cave, and then explode everyone on my blog once i manifest thoughts abt it, there is so much to analyze, but for now i am obssessed with the art direction, the character design, the animation THE ANIMATION theHGHAVS, the writing (despite a few flaws), and so much more, im really glad my friend introduced me to it, cause it is painfully underrated

Feathers Reacts: Motorcity - Episode 9 - Ride of the Fantasy Vans

Forsooth, this episode is as an arrow set to pierce a target - that target being an audience, of which I find myself a member.

Episode 9 Thoughts

Uh oh some larpers just walked into a horror movie.

!!! The murals! On these vans! Can you imagine?? If I saw this driving down the road I would know in a heartbeat that I had to meet the person behind the wheel.

"Huzzah!" - fun fact I use this exclamation in real life too often, and one time when a lady was fitting me for glasses she asked me if I was a "rennie" or Ren Fair enthusiast. Alas, I have only been to one.

The random medieval music interludes are killing me, I love this so much :)

Concluding Thoughts

I have been Perceived. This episode is a critical hit to my soul. I love love love the larpers, and I love that the Burners did, in fact, get to learn the magic of fantasy roleplaying games at the end of the episode.

Also, Mike and Chuck, be still my heart! The way Chuck peeks out from behind his bangs with a slightly embarrassed smile as Mike is swearing fealty just about killed me. I am deceased. I have no more thoughts to write.

I had this idea when we would finally meet Capri and she made up with her brother for reasons 👀.

That she would befriend Ruby and Thurman. Like Mike’s friends with them but he doesn’t really like the “oh my god it’s Mike chilton” attention

But Capri lived out in the waste and she’ll probably loved the attention, like yes she is a badass and she knows it.

Ruby and Thurman are like her fan club.

Ruby has a celeb crush on Capri because she’s awesome and wants to be her.

In all fairness these three would make and awesome trio and if they had Tennie and Claire it would probably be like a second group of burners
