The Medic tilted his head slightly, holding his hand still as he reached the center of the Spy's mass, a quiet chuckle escaping him.
"Oh... Zhat's quite interesting... Vhat a peculiar sensation..." He smiled slightly to himself, unknowing of the pain he caused his comrade.
"Zhis does explain how zhat got stuck in your new form though..." He muttered softly, wiggling his fingers through the Spy's gelatinous insides, reaching a little farther down to pinch the edge of the other's balaclava between his fingers.
The sensation of the Medic removing his hand, along with the balaclava somehow hurt more than the man initially reaching inside of him, his surface rippling more aggressively and abruptly stopping once the Medic's gloved hand, accompanied by the balaclava was fully purged from what had once been his body, regardless of his attempts to cling to the mask that retained what was left of his identity.
The pain was still there, simply dulled and quiet as he looked up at the man standing above him, goo that should have stayed inside of him dripping from the blue rubber of the doctor's glove and heavily saturating the Spy's mask, splattering noisily onto the counter as the Medic dropped the custom-fit piece of fabric.
"Eugh... I'm sorry, I shouldn't act so disgusted. At least now zhat zhat is out of zhe way I can run some tests und figure out how I can send you back zhrough zhe respawn, ja? Not to mention your mask can finally get washed. I don't mean to be rude, but it vas becoming rather... Unsanitary." He wiped his glove on his lab coat, taking a moment to look through a cabinet to find a large enough container to move the Spy into before picking up the bucket and moving to another part of the room.
It was another couple of minutes before the Medic got his work station fully prepared, rubbing his hands together as he carefully poured the contents of the bucket into a large shallow tray, watching curiously as the Spy's gel-like form collected into a round-ish lump.
It took the Spy a moment to refocus his vision as the Medic sat down at the table he had been poured onto, his surface rippling and pulling away as the Medic reached to gently poke him once again.
"Hooh! You moved! Zhat's just incredible!" The Medic spoke cheerfully, reaching out again, this time with an open palm to carefully pat the top of the Spy's new form, chuckling slightly to himself as his patient jiggled at his touch.
"I vonder..." He picked up a pen, holding it a couple of centimeters away from the Spy's surface "Try and form some kind of appendage. If you can move, who knows vhat else you can do!"
Despite his urgings, the Spy did not humor the Medic's interest, the man eventually giving up and setting the pen down and beginning to examine the Spy's physicality once again.
After a handful of basic tests, the medic sighed, finally catching a glimpse of a silver object still lodged inside of the Spy's viscous, translucent form. His watch. The cloaking device still clasped to fit around a wrist that the Spy no longer had.
"Oh, zhat's no good... Here, hold still, meine freund." He spoke lowly, cupping one hand around the Spy's opposite side as his other hand pressed into him, the Spy looking around frantically as his surface rippled and morphed into soft, squishy spikes, the doctor's hand breaking his surface once again and reaching agonizingly inside of him.
"It's alright, herr Spy! I know zhe sensation must be razher strange for you as vell." The Medic spoke softly his hand reaching farther beneath the Spy's surface as he grabbed hold of the watch, slowly and carefully removing it and setting it off to the side as the Spy continued to ripple and contort.
"It's over, meine freund, I don't zhink having zhose zhings floating around inside of you was very good for your health." He spoke in as much of a comforting tone as he could muster, gently and rhythmically tapping his fingers across the Spy's surface, making sure not to press too hard... He meant well... That's all the Spy could remind himself...
"I'm going to take some samples now, alright? Just a couple of syringe fulls! Nothing too drastic." The Medic explained softly, preparing his needle and carefully looking it over before carefully pushing the tip into the Spy's gelatinous form, humming softly as he began to slowly and carefully pull the plunger to gather his sample.
The syringe was worse. It was so much worse than the dull, violating pain of the doctor's hands combing through his insides. It was a different sort of pain. The pain that suctioned and forced too much of him to fit through a gap far smaller than it should have been able to.
It was a nauseating pain that ate him from the inside out, and the only thing he could do was ripple and try to pull away, only for more of his insides to disappear inside of the pulling, tearing force of the syringe... He was the fly in a spider's grasp, his innards liquefied and sucked out of him like the poor morsel he was.
Three times... He had been forced to endure the pain three times, until the medic had decided that the samples were enough, that he had removed enough of the Spy's mass to be satisfied. He wanted to cry, wanted to scream and yell and beg for the Medic to stop, to tell him how much he was hurting him... But he couldn't. There was no way for him to speak, no way to communicate his agony...
How long would it be until he died?
It was hard to say how long had passed until the Medic finished running his tests, writing meticulous notes and running small experiments on the samples he had sucked so violently out of the Spy, but eventually, the experiments came to an end; and the Medic, to a conclusion.
"Zhis vill most likely hurt... A lot. But I believe it vill be zhe most effective euthanasia method for your situation." He spoke carefully, his tone serious as he stuck a pair of metal rods through the Spy's liquefied form, placing a high-voltage battery on the table and connecting jumper cables to the battery, holding the opposite clips close to the metal rods.
"Brace yourself, meine freund." He spoke quickly, shutting his eyes and turning his head as he clamped the jumper cables to the metal rods.
The Spy collapsed to his hands and knees in the respawn room of the main base, coughing and choking as he gasped for air, the motion of drawing air in and pushing it back out feeling familiarly alien, like he was learning how to use his body again for a second time.
Within seconds, he heard the familiar footfalls of the medic, who rushed into the respawn chamber beside him, kneeling down and wrapping a warmed blanket around him, a wide grin on his face.
Spy couldn't help but flinch as the Medic touched him, his breathing still quick and unsteady as he looked away from the man, a strand of graying hair falling in his face.
The Medic's smile faltered and fell, a look of concern crossing his face as he pulled his hands away from the other man, pushing down his barrage of questions as he hesitantly extended a hand, allowing Spy to engage with him first if he chose.
"Are you alright, meine freund?" He asked softly, taking a facemask out of the inner pocket of his vest and offering it to the Spy so that he could, at the very least, conceal most of his face once again.
Hesitantly, the Spy took the mask, shaking his head as he took a shaking breath.
"It hurt so much, Docteur..." He spoke quietly, flinching away again as the medic moved to place a hand on his shoulder.
"You hurt me..." He whispered, putting the mask on and wrapping the blanket tighter around himself, refusing to look at the Medic.
"Herr Spy I never... I didn't mean to-"
"You put your hands inside of me! I was a defenseless thing and you put your hands in me and your sample taking- You treated me like some little project! I thought you were different from him!" The Spy touched his throat slightly, his fingers gently tracing across the scar that encircled his neck as he finally looked his Medic in the eyes, tears beginning to streak down his face. "I thought I could trust you."
"I'm so sorry... I never vanted to hurt you." The Medic spoke softly, moving away from the other man slightly.
"I know how much zhe other Medic hurt you. Forgive me, bitte. Let me help you to your room." He offered his hand, to which the Spy finally accepted, the Medic leading him to his room where he could finally rest.

Richard P. Strong [had been] recently appointed director of Harvard’s new Department of Tropical Medicine [...]. As newly appointed director of the Laboratories of the Hospitals and of Research Work of United Fruit Company, he set sail in July 1914 to United Fruit plantations in Cuba, Guatemala, Honduras, Costa Rica, and Panama. […] As a shareholder in two British rubber plantations, [...] Strong approached Harvey Firestone, chief executive of the tire and rubber-processing conglomerate that bore his name, in December 1925 with a proposal [...]. Summary: The Terra Zero Archeology Project has received funding to locate a laboratory of both historical and technological importance. What they actually end up bringing back is something of much greater significance.

They had found it on the planet once known as Earth, now known as Terra Zero. It had been buried in a laboratory of historical and technological importance. The laboratory was the target of their mission and this had merely been something they had discovered along the way, but it was likely a much more significant find than their original goal. It was a miracle, really, that the jar protecting this particular specimen was fully intact, and an even greater wonder that they found a second one to go with it. Despite the atypical building practices found at that location, it had managed to survive the several planetary disasters that had befallen Terra Zero since the lab had been constructed. It was truly an amazingly complex and baffling in its own era. The laboratory itself had been buried under tons of sediment, ash, and debris that had built up on the planet's surface over the centuries, yet it managed to preserve the space from the very passage of time. 
The Terra Zero Archeology Project, shortened down to T.Z.A.P, had only been able to discover it through a related digital archiving project, following mentions of its existence along with digital records from the time, particularly a set of patents that were of interest to the team's investors. They read like utter nonsense, completely indecipherable despite running them through every algorithm available and having sloughs of intergalactic experts look them over. The only hope of figuring them out lay in the lab where they had been created. A myzack-chase through several databases and many long message chains and holos later, the mission was underway. The promise of new technologies was what got the T.Z.A.P. its funding in the first place. This lab was sure to have them keep their funding for a while longer. 
The lab itself had been odd, with unknown radioactive elements non-native to the Terra Zero planetary area found in unusual amounts with a positive correlation with the proximity to the lab. Special suits were created just for this excavation, and entire collections of journals were being written based off of the findings. The interior of the lab looked untouched, only a thin coat of dust covered every surface. It was in a general state of disarray like it had been abandoned in the middle of something, but the walls were intact (except for the portion they had drilled through) with minimal rust and decay setting in. It was an astronomically amazing find. 
Then there were the samples. 
Most of the samples, which looked to be biological samples from a dissection, were degraded beyond use, a millennium beyond expiration. They appeared to be humanoid in nature, which ended up being one of the most unnerving portions of the discovery. It wouldn’t be confirmed until they were actually processed and tested. It wasn’t safe to assume, they had found ones made of ‘rubber’ before. One jar, containing a singular, whole hand, was preserved properly, in what appeared to be an isotopic solution tinted green. The next samples of interest were a set of small vials containing a viscous green liquid that actively rested in a set of a dozen, three of which were intact, the rest exposed to the heavy, damp atmosphere of the lab. It was an unnaturally bright green substance with a dull glow, flecked with red. The intact vials wouldn’t be opened until after the samples of the broken ones were processed first. It would give them a good idea of the decay rate of the substance. There was a heavy containment unit, made from glass that could rival modern war spacecraft windows, with a glowing crystal orb inside, floating in a similar solution to what the vials must contain. All of the other samples were labeled “Phantom” with a time and date on their collection date. This one was marked with the name “Danny”, instead. They were all within two days of each other, with the orb being last. 
The most valuable thing T.Z.A.P. managed to collect from the lab, other than just recording of the finding of an intact lab from the early 2000s era, was the intact digital files located on the ancient external hard drive. Someone on the tech team had managed to reconstruct and restore the files on it and found hundreds of files containing everything from lab journal entries to video recordings, to entire papers. It was an almanium mine of information, shining light on many of the patents themselves, though the blueprints and the construction of the technology remained theoretical at best. Whoever had designed these was using a language all of their own that no one else could decipher. 
The samples and digital files were brought into the in-orbit lab and processed while the systems scanned the antique files for relevant information, matching the patents and the surviving samples. The computer pinged a collection of lab recordings almost immediately, curiously matching the time stamps of the sample collections. 
Zavier, one of the many interns assigned to this project, absently clicked on one at random, sound on, in the middle of the main research room. 
Corroded, the audio snapped and popped, showing its age, but it caught the attention of everyone else in the room. Grainy footage of a woman in a teal jumpsuit, with red goggles covering her eyes, and black gloves covered the screen. A large figure in orange moved in the background. 
“This is Doctor Madeline Fenton, it is June 4th, 2006, at precisely 14:23. I am joined by Doctor Jack Fenton in collecting a whole-piece sample from the ecto-entity known as Phantom.”   
Ecto-entity. It was a term that popped up frequently in the study of this particular laboratory and the related patents. There were at least a dozen sets of eyes on the monitor at this point, several different people scribbling down notes of interest. 
“As mentioned in Recording 632006-334 samples collected from Phantom seem to rapidly degenerate once removed from the central entity. To correct this, we have diluted a solution made from the entity’s own ectoplasm mixed with an isotopic preservation solution in an attempt to preserve the sample for further, future study.”
The woman moved the camera to show a prone figure, heavily strapped down to a mental table, distinctly human, despite their odd features for the time. They appeared young, prepubescent in age, uselessly crying and thrashing on the table they were strapped to. They were covered in past incisions, and missing several fingers from their other hand. Several harsh breaths of horror were taken around the room. Zavier should’ve paused the video there, but he hadn’t. 
“Our intended sample is going to be the entire right hand.”
The child on the table let out a heart wrenching whine, barely picked up through the harsh muzzle on their face. 
Something in the room broke, it sounded fragile, but no one moved, transfixed by the screen. 
The woman, Dr. Madeline repositioned the camera over the child’s right hand. They visibly struggled, straining against the restraint. 
“Jack, the bone saw?”
“Here you go, darling!” The man said with a large smile. 
The boy screamed and it echoed around the entire room, the video filled with bright colors of green and red as the bone saw ate through flesh.
The video was abruptly stopped before it could finish, and someone immediately rushed to the trash unit in the corner. A few people did. The scream still seemed to linger around the room anyways. 
“What in the void of space are you all doing?!” A new voice interrupted.
“H-head Doctor! I didn’t mean to! But it started playing and I didn’t want to stop it so I let it play!”
“And?”
“A… a-and?” the intern stuttered. 
“What did you learn?”
“That… that I shouldn’t click on a random video without permission…” Zavier admitted reluctantly. 
“I meant about our subject.”
“OH! Oh… um. Young, possibly male humanoid, unusual features… they cut off their hand with a bone saw…” Zavier’s voice trembled, unable to focus on the words coming out of his mouth with the scream echoing even louder in his own head than it had in the room. 
The Head Doctor’s eyes darkened. Her grip tightening on her tablet, before snapping down the tech and sending out several messages all at once in a furious efficiency. 
“If continuing on this particular project makes you uncomfortable, please report to the main deck for reassignment!” The Head Doctor announced it to the whole room. “I understand that we’re dealing with humanoid experimentation in this discovery. You will not be punished for wanting to be reassigned.”
Several people left the room almost immediately, practically fleeing in terror. Zavier found himself agreeing, but was firmly rooted in place. Others thought about it, before following the rest out. From the two dozen researchers and interns in the room, less than a fourth remained. Zavier rediscovered his ability to move for a moment, and contemplated joining them before staying in his spot. He couldn’t. 
“Intern. I need you to find the video of the collection of the orb. The video should be labeled 642006-1746.”
“Yes, ma’am. May I ask why?” 
Zavier really didn’t want ot have to watch another video when this one was going to be haunting him for the next decade.
“The sample associated with it refuses to be identified, but it has responded to external stimuli, including sounds and being moved about. Several of our preliminary scans have identified something similar to brain waves emitting from it. We need to identify it.”
“Yes, ma’am.”
Zavier swallowed thickly before clicking on the video labeled just as the Head Doctor had specified. The video pulled up just like the first, popping and snapping before settling in place. The same woman from the first video appeared in the camera, slightly worse for wear. Her suit was splattered with green and red. Zavier cringed and looked away, but refrained from covering his ears with his hands. He had to at least listen, even if that was the worst part. 
“This is Doctor Madeline Fenton, it is June 4th, 2006, at 17:46. Dr. Jack Fenton and I have just finished our full dissection of the ecto-entity once known as Phantom.”
The camera panned to show the same child from earlier, cut up into pieces, a large vivisection cut splaying their chest wide open, cavity practically hollowed out, and several stained jars littered the free space on the table. They boy wasn’t moving anymore.
“We have made an… interesting discovery concerning its biology.” 
The scientist paused for a moment, glancing behind her before she seemed to hesitate. 
“Not… not only did it possess a perfect copy of human biology, it was a functioning one. However, after considerable loss of ectoplasm and substantial damage to its internal organs, its facsimile of life ceased. We were able to locate its core,” she held up the jar containing the small glowing orb. It seemed so tragic floating in that solution. All that blood and viscera for something the size of a pinging ball. She placed the jar on a table out of frame.
“And have successfully removed it and placed it within an isolating containment unit. Reasons for this have been stated in my husband and I’s previous papers on the nature of cores. However, Phantom’s seems to be behaving differently than expected. It’s fallen completely dormant after drawing in all available ectoplasm. Theories on this will be further elaborated in the paper currently being constructed on the ecto-entity Phant-”
There was a flash of light in the background that glitched out the camera for a moment, before the video returned. There was much more red than there was before. The boy was noticeably different, his appearance much more in line with the humans of the era, black hair and red blood. 
The woman swiftly turned around, a weapon she reached for off screen suddenly in her hand. It clattered to the ground soon after. She made a horrible choking noise, like she was being strangled. Zavier didn’t think she had the right to react like that. She and her partner had done this after all.
“Danny..?”
The Head Doctor reached over Zavier and turned the video off, gripping the bridge of her nose and letting out a harsh breath of her own. Zavier himself sunk further into his seat to process the information that was likely going to continue to plague his nightmares. He didn’t know why he felt so terrible, or why it was all knotted up in the base of his throat. That kid had been dead for over a millennium at this point. There was no saving them, just the bits of what little of them that remained, as samples, recordings, and data. He shouldn’t be this horrified and torn up over someone long dead. 
“Intern, what is your name?”
“Zavier, ma’am.”
“Zavier, go make yourself something warm to eat and distract yourself. I don’t want to see you until it looks like you’ve had at least a full cycle of rest. Senior members,” she signaled the three of the older researchers who had remained, one of which was trying to light a smoke in the corner, “We are going to be having a long night to figure out the nature of this research. If… If this lines up with some of my current conclusions, then we may have a much more… interesting project on our hands.”
“Ma’am… what do you mean by that?” 
One of the researchers asked, coming in closer to relieve Zavier from his seat at the monitor. Zavier hadn’t been expecting his knees to be so weak when he tried to stand and the world spun around him for a moment before he managed to steady himself.
“Simple. We have the current approval and supplies to use the D.R.C.R.A. on a suitable… sample of interest,” The Doctor claimed. 
“You don’t mean… by the void,” The researcher with the smoke cackled. “Oh, this is going to get us in so much trouble!”
“Well, it would certainly line up with our objective to study the era. What’s better than a first-person witness?”

It started innocent enough. Normally Princess Bubblegum is more than used to working on her own but after the countless accidents involving cinnamon bun and her more elaborate projects requiring an extra hand, the princess decided it was time to hire an assistant. Bubblegum didn't want to overwhelm you with her tools and her scientific terms in the first few days so you were regulated to sterilize her equipment, organize her work documents and make sure cinnamon bun didn't waltz his way into the lab. It was kinda of boring, but you were happy to help her in any way you can.
You find it good that a princess prioritizes the protection of her own people, even though she occasionally acts morally dubious about her past actions with other kingdoms. Bonnibel has exceptional intelligence when it comes to scientific topics as well and you respect her for being a diligent woman. It's why, whenever you stare at her in a way that you don't think is respectful and admiring, you can't help but feel a little embarrassed.
It all started when you managed to avoid doing paperwork. In Bonnibel's system, there's a little sterilizing station with a coat rack for her lab coat, safety goggles, and a dispenser for hairnets and latex gloves before you enter her unique laboratory. Usually, you would place the documents on the table or put them through a slot that led to her lab, but on this occasion, you managed to catch her just as she was about to enter. You arrived with the document in hand just as she was washing her hands. She nodded at the folder she requested, but before touching anything, she put on her disposable gloves. You waited patiently as she inserted her bubblegum pink hand into the rubbery glove, and the band of the glove's edge made a light smack as she adjusted it around her wrist. You're not sure if it was the air conditioning or the motion itself, but it gave you a nice shiver. You dismissed it from your mind, thinking it was an isolated incident, and carried on with your day.
However, you couldn't stop revisiting that memory, circling it in your mind like Science the rat did on his exercise wheel.
The second occasion was when you were eventually granted access to her laboratory. Before she thought you were ready to assist Bubblegum with her more "hands on approach" to work, you spent a full month learning the security protocols and guidelines. It was fascinating to watch her handle glass tubes and manage tiny test samples with a steady hand and delicate tweezers. You're not here to gawk at her, though. It wasn't until one of those test containers behaved abnormally, and Bubblegum grabbed your wrist and dragged you to the ground before exploding.
"Ein Misthaufen!" She cursed in a language foreign to you, before looking back at you in a more calmer tone. "Are you hurt?" She asks. "I'm good." It's all you can manage to squeak, both from astonishment at the explosion and from the actual contact her gloved hand made with the bare skin on your wrist. The sensation caused the hairs on your neck to stand up and sent shivers down your spine. "I'll add this to the daily report and call it a day. We'll adapt more safety precautions tomorrow." Bubblegum states as she helps you stand up, already missing her touch when she pulled away. From there on you couldn't tell if you were attracted to the Princess herself or the rubber material of her gloves. So one day you told her. "Princess Bubblegum, I don't think I'm fit to help you out anymore." "Why's that?" You look away with slight shame and embarrassment, but she places her hand on your shoulder with a smile that told you everything was alright and it was enough reassurance to open up about your troubles. "I've been getting distracted by your gloves recently, it's highly unprofessional from my part and that's why I think I'm not suitable for the job." You confess, but rather than being met with disgust as you originally thought, Princess Bubblegum raises her hand to her chin. She has that 'I'm thinking about something' expression on her face.
"You see, I've been pleased with your assistance over the last few months, and I'm willing to work this out before firing you for such a minor detail; how about we try to work it out first?" 
"Huh?"
She leads you to her office, which is adjacent to the lab, locking the door behind her to give the two of you a bit of privacy. "You can be honest with me; I won't get upset. So, what troubles you about the gloves? The material? Is it the color or the smell?" she asks. Bubblegum seeks to pinpoint the problem, like when she looks for flaws in her machinery.
"Well, it's not so much the gloves that bother me... Quite the opposite really, and that's why I think it’s a problem." You scratch the back of you neck, now aware of how much she's eyeing you now unlike previous times where she's only focused on her work.
Princess Bubblegum removes herself from the desk she was previously leaning against, slowly approaching you and carefully lifting her gloved hand to you. Her index finger pokes your shoulder before raising it to your exposed neck, and her hand lightly grazes your chin before eventually booping your nose. She observed your reactions as if you were another one of her experiments. "Hmm…dilated pupils and a rapid response. If you don't mind, I'd like to do a test to see if it's the gloves that are distracting you or something else totally."
You struggle to swallow and could only nod in response.
Bubblegum now runs her hands over the exposed skin on your body, briefly grazing your cheek before running it down to your neck again, but this time she places her thumb on your jugular vein while her index and middle finger apply pressure to the other side of your neck; whether PB was subtly choking you or measuring your heartbeat, you're not sure. Regardless, it piqued your interest. Your thighs twitch involuntarily, resisting the urge to press them together for friction or release.PB detects this and lowers her free hand to the side of your outer thigh; it didn't do much for you until she crawled her fingers up to the side of your hip, where your pants are held up by a belt, and raised your shirt enough for her thumb to stroke the exposed flesh. Such a small action was enough to raise goosebumps on your arms; it was subtle but delicate. Like everything about her.
You were so out of it you almost miss when Princess Bubblegum said she'd leave for a moment to get something. The break was enough to allow you to regulate your breathing and leave you to your own thoughts, which were all over the place. "She probably thinks I'm weird, from now on I need to keep my composure so I can hold on to what dignity i have left." Is the resolve you've settled on but the whole thing was tossed out of the window when Princess Bubblegum came back into the room only to remove her lab coat to reveal the pink skin tight suit underneath, absolutely hugging every part of her figure and creaking with every step she took, which happen to lead her right in front of you. "W-where did you get that from?" "Oh this? It's a body suit I kept from last year's science fair. Are you ready to continue our little experiment?"
Your quick nod brought a grin to Bonnibel's matte pink lips, and she resumed her touch on any area of your body that was exposed to her until it wasn't enough for both of you. You began to suspect the genuine purpose of this experiment as her gloved hand fell on the interior of your thigh and raised up to your stomach, placing her palm flat on your tummy till she lowers it and dips past the waistline of your pants. An audible whimper came from your throat, reaching Bonnibel's ears. "Does this feel particular for you?"
"Yeah... Feels goods."
Princess Bubblegum's suit squeaks a little as she adjusts herself to sit on your lap much to your surprise, she raises her other hand onto your neck once more but this time she added a bit more pressure to the sides of your throat but not necessarily choking you, it has your body covered in goosebumps and your moans raising in different tones the more she moved her other hand in your sensitive parts, with the rubber making more squeaky noses alongside the sweat and fluid, You kept your eyes closed the entire time, but when Bonnibel told you to look at her, you did, and she gave you an intense glare. Unlike the experiment, which was her idea, you initiated the kiss. PB tasted just as sweet as she smelled, tasting the natural flavor of tutti frutti from her as your tongue lapped at her rosey lips. This kiss, along with the overwhelming odor of bubblegum and rubber, pushed you over the brink, causing you to mewl into the kiss as you were overcome by her touch.
"Hnng.. Peebs, I'm so sorry..." You attempt to breathe normally but she shushes you with another kiss, this one more chaste than the previous one. "Shh, you did great; you passed my small tests. I've come to a conclusion." Bonnibel reassures you. "Wha-?" "The rubber gloves weren't the main thing distracting you, but instead it was me. Wasn't it? I've seen the way you look at me when you think I'm busy." The princess smiles knowingly even as you blush and try to look away. "...Maybe." Princess Bubblegum laughs a sweet little giggle, placing a peck on your cheek. "But I'm probably still getting ahead of myself, don't worry, we can do a little more tests if you like." You didn't need to be told twice since she has you nodding once again.

Uranus' moon Miranda may have an ocean beneath its surface, study finds
A new study suggests Uranus' moon Miranda may harbor a water ocean beneath its surface, a finding that would challenge many assumptions about the moon's history and composition and could put it in the company of the few select worlds in our solar system with potentially life-sustaining environments.
"To find evidence of an ocean inside a small object like Miranda is incredibly surprising," said Tom Nordheim, a planetary scientist at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) in Laurel, Maryland, and co-author of the study published in The Planetary Science Journal.
"It helps build on the story that some of these moons at Uranus may be really interesting—that there may be several ocean worlds around one of the most distant planets in our solar system, which is both exciting and bizarre."
Among the moons in the solar system, Miranda stands out. The few images Voyager 2 captured in 1986 show Miranda's southern hemisphere (the only part we've seen) is a Frankenstein-like hodgepodge of grooved terrain quartered off by rough scarps and cratered areas, like squares on a quilt. Most researchers suspect these bizarre structures are the result of tidal forces and heating within the moon.
Caleb Strom, a graduate student at the University of North Dakota who worked with Nordheim and Alex Patthoff of the Planetary Science Institute in Arizona, revisited the Voyager 2 images. The team set out to explain Miranda's enigmatic geology by reverse engineering the surface features, working backward to uncover what the moon's interior structure must have been to shape the moon's geology in response to tidal forcing.
After first mapping the various surface features like cracks, ridges and Miranda's unique trapezoidal coronae, the team developed a computer model to test several possible structures of the moon's interior, matching the predicted stress patterns to the actual surface geology.
The setup that produced the best match between predicted stress patterns and observed surface features required the existence of vast ocean beneath Miranda's icy surface some 100–500 million years ago. This subsurface ocean was at least 62 miles (100 kilometers) deep, according to the study, and hidden beneath an icy crust no more than 19 miles (30 kilometers) thick.
Given Miranda has a radius of just 146 miles (235 kilometers), the ocean would have filled almost half of the moon's body. "That result was a big surprise to the team," Strom said.
Key to creating that ocean, the researchers believe, were tidal forces between Miranda and nearby moons. These regular gravitational tugs can be amplified by orbital resonances—a configuration where each moon's period around a planet is an exact integer of the others' periods.
Jupiter's moons Io and Europa, for example, have a 2:1 resonance: For every two orbits Io makes around Jupiter, Europa makes exactly one, leading to tidal forces that are known to sustain an ocean beneath Europa's surface.
These orbital configurations and the resulting tidal forces deform the moons like rubber balls, leading to friction and heat that keeps interiors warm. This also creates stresses that crack the surface, creating a rich tapestry of geologic features. Numerical simulations have suggested that Miranda and its neighboring moons likely had such a resonance in the past, offering a potential mechanism that could have warmed Miranda's interior to produce and maintain a subsurface ocean.
At some point, the moons' orbital ballet desynchronized, slowing the heating process so that the moon's insides started to cool and solidify. But the team doesn't think Miranda's interior has fully frozen yet. If the ocean had completely frozen, Nordheim explained, it would have expanded and caused certain telltale cracks on the surface, which aren't there.
This suggests that Miranda is still cooling—and may have an ocean beneath its surface even now. Miranda's modern-day ocean is probably relatively thin, Strom noted. "But the suggestion of an ocean inside one of the most distant moons in the solar system is remarkable," he said.
Miranda wasn't predicted to have an ocean. With its small size and old age, scientists thought it would likely be a frozen ball of ice. Any leftover heat from its formation was assumed to have dissipated long ago. But as Patthoff pointed out, predictions about ice moons can be wrong, as evidenced by Saturn's moon Enceladus.
Before the Cassini spacecraft arrived in 2004, many scientists thought Enceladus was a frozen ball of ice and rock. But it was actually harboring a global ocean and active geological processes. "Few scientists expected Enceladus to be geologically active," Patthoff said. "However, it's shooting water vapor and ice out of its southern hemisphere as we speak." Enceladus is now a prime target in the search for life beyond Earth.
Miranda might be a similar case. It's comparable in size and composition to Enceladus, and according to a 2023 study led by APL's Ian Cohen, it may be actively releasing material into space. If it has (or even had) an ocean, it could be a future target for studying habitability and life. However, Nordheim cautions that there's still too much we don't know about Miranda and the Uranian moons to speculate about the existence of life.
"We won't know for sure that it even has an ocean until we go back and collect more data," he said. "We're squeezing the last bit of science we can from Voyager 2's images. For now, we're excited by the possibilities and eager to return to study Uranus and its potential ocean moons in depth."
Revealing the secrets of Uranus' icy moons
Uranus' icy moons have fascinated scientists ever since Voyager 2 captured stunning images of them, and valuable data about them, during its brief flyby in 1986. This latest study, led by Caleb Strom and APL's Tom Nordheim, is part of a broader effort at APL to uncover the secrets of these mysterious moons and the unusual planet they orbit:
2023: A team led by APL's Ian Cohen reanalyzed particle and magnetic data from Voyager 2's flyby and found Uranus' moons Ariel and Miranda may both be releasing material into the space environment around Uranus, possibly through plumes.
2024: APL's Richard Cartwright used observations of Uranus' moon Ariel by NASA's James Webb Space Telescope to conclude the moon may have a subsurface ocean that's replenishing its surface deposits of carbon dioxide ice—a topic he presented at the recent meeting of the American Astronomical Society.

Story:
- A group of sixteen ultimate students were invited to spend a year at a summer camp in order to improve their talents and at the same time, create great memories with each other, a complete package if you ask me.
- However, a fateful incident would be the necessary word for a big explosion, well, we can't always trust everything in the hands of destiny, can we? I just hope that nothing bad happened among our students, it would be horrible if the country's greatest source of hope was extinguished in the blink of an eye.
Day:3
Victim 1#: "Shuichi Saihara"
Rule #1: "Don't go where you don't belong"
- From the beginning, the students thought about finding the Chin director who had now disappeared without leaving any trace. The students would then divide themselves into groups of eight to look for the director and try to get an answer.
- Kaede and Shuichi were together from beginning to end, both were named "Truth Duo" by Kaito who found it admirable to see the courage of the two, especially Kaede, in investigating the truth behind the disappearance. The duo ended up separating from the others when Shuichi heard a noise coming from the camera room, as he approached, leaving Kaede alone in the hallway, but as he touched the doorknob, a masked individual appeared from inside, grabbing Shuichi and scuttling him with a stick.
- The killer tied Shuichi to a chair and a rubber helmet was attached to his head attached to some electrical wires. Upon waking up and noticing things around him, Shuichi was unable to say anything before feeling the electrical charges dominating his body, he tried to scream but the muffled sounds of the machine made it impossible for others to hear him. Shuichi's eyes and ears bled and his skin turned bluish shortly after his electrocution.
- His body was found by Kaede who, upon noticing his disappearance, searched all the doors and found an electric shuichi in the camera room.
Day:5
Victim 2#: Miu Iruma
Rule 2#: "Avoid talking more than necessary."
- The students noticed the seriousness of the situation, not only did they lose a colleague but they were afraid to know what the next steps of the now murderer among them would be. While many were corrupted by fear and doubt, some ignored it.
-Miu was one of those people, the mask that it was all just a big prank still remained, for her Shuichi's "death" was just a technical trick because according to her, Shuichi's stupidity would not be so great as to To die like that, it made a wave of hatred rise in a kaede before crying over the death of her friend. Both were removed by Kaito and Gonta, noticing the stupidity she did, Miu locked herself in her laboratory in order not to be bothered by any of the students, even KIB0 who was the only one to stay by my side even though she had started it all.
- The killer, seeing the fight from afar, took the opportunity to enter and hide in Miu's laboratory until she was alone. Inside the laboratory, the killer surprised me from behind and hit her in the head with a wrench, then he trapped her on a metal stretcher leaving her with her legs open, he then arrested her and replaced the drill bit from a giant drill with a pipe, he activated the drill in the direction of Miu's vaginal canal, causing her to agonize before the killer put another pipe, this time inside the girl's mouth, she was subjected to choking while the drill pierced her vagina. Miu died some time later from choking and blood loss.

Minutes later he woke up tied to the tennis court beam when the killer placed a ball machine in front of him but replaced the soft tennis balls with table throws. Ryoma was hit several times by the balls that deformed his entire face, leaving him unrecognizable.
- His body was found Kirumi.
Day: 13
Victim 5#: Himiko Yumeno
Rule 5#:"A friend is the one who warns"
- Three days passed without any appearance of the killer or any corpse, this reassured and frightened the students now under the dictatorship/student council founded by Angie with the aim of preventing murders and disappearances. Many were shocked by such an attitude considering that she was responsible for delivering Korekiyo into the hands of the killer, but this did not make it impossible for her to create rules to bring peace in such a chaotic moment, logically a council cannot be made up of just one person and one One of the components to remain alongside their leader was Himiko.

Rule 6#:"Hope is the last to die"
- The chaos intensified when the killer surprised the students during the afternoon, amidst the frantic chase he focused his eyes on K1B0 and Kokichi who separated from the group during the race. K1B0 appeared to be showing signs of malfunction because without Miu it would be impossible to carry out adequate maintenance, but this did not prevent him from protecting Kokichi, who was grabbed by the scarf, with impressive strength he managed to push the killer, leaving Kokichi to fall to the ground, K1B0 ordered him to run and Kokichi reluctantly complied and ran away.
- The killer used a rock to rip out the parts of K1B0 and thus remove its wires, replacing the electrical material with trash while the lenses of his eyes were ripped out and lit candles illuminated that day called a hopeful beacon.
- His body and remains were found by Gonta and his head was found by Kokichi which was placed next to the door of his laboratory.

Victim 7#:"Tsumugi Shirogane"
Rule 7#: "Watch where you are going, don't get caught"
-That day, another surprise affected the group when Kaito started spitting blood, he said it was just an allergy, but an analysis carried out by Kirumi proved the opposite, asking if there was something they could use to treat him, Kaede remembered There was a medicine session in Shuichi's laboratory, but she was against going alone, which Tsumugi chose to help her, in fact two are better than one.
- Both walked through the quiet room with only the shock of their improvised weapons echoing through the environment, when Kaede entered the room next to Tsumugi, she saw a shadow on top of her but she fell asleep thanks to a gas before even identifying the source.

Her long blue hair was violently ripped out while she was alive having the junko wig stapled to the sides of her hair. The killer also removed one of her eyes by placing a sphere of blue light and then tried to hang Tsumugi to death with a rope, but it didn't help, hitting her head several times using a weight throw, thus taking the girl's life, then taking the girl's life. he wrapped ropes around her arms, legs and neck hanging her as if he was performing.
- Her body was found by Rantaro and Kaede.

Victim 8#: Angie Yonaga
Rule 8#:"Recognize, Confess and Accept"
- Angie was determined to complete her plan so she stole a vial of poison from Shuichi's laboratory and poured it over the dough that Kirumi would use for breakfast the next day, but before she could hide her trick the killer drugged her and took her into the woods.
- She was tied against a tree and the killer stare at her coldly, the killer asked her to recognize her faults over the days and if she did that he would let her live, surprisingly, Angiu laughed and looked at the killer with disdain and justified his actions claiming to be the work of Atua in order to punish those unable to recognize the greatness of his power over those lost in soul and heart just like him. -  Then he used the girl's sculpting materials to open her back into a pair of wings, after which he twisted the iron into the shape of a halo and inserted it into the center of Angie's head, which was placed on the camp statue. Now everyone could admire the radiance of Saint Angie.

- Kaito's physical health was depleted as the days went by and he would have less chance of life if he continued in that hell, the antidote which was supposed to have some effect actually made what was already bad worse. To their surprise, old Kaito still maintained his carefree expression because if he was going to die, it wouldn't be at the hands of a murderous son of a bitch, but rather alongside his best friends, even Ouma, however the lights in the cafeteria were cut off, indicating the presence of the killer and so everyone started running around the back of the place while Kokichi held Kaito over his shoulders.
- Kaito and Kokichi ended up hiding inside Kaito's laboratory. Both were physically tired, especially Kaito who was waiting for death to arrive, Kokichi tried to motivate him by telling him not to give up but his attempts were in vain when Kaito took his last breath, at the same moment one of the windows was broken by the killer, Kokichi tried to attack him. but a pair of arrows were stuck into his chest.
- The killer, dissatisfied with not being able to take Kaito's life, grabbed the bodies of the two boys and trapped them inside the rocket in the middle of the room and thus attached several blades to the center of the replica and then made it rotate several times until the bodies of both merge into a mixture of human flesh.
- Their remains were found by Kaede and Maki.

Victim 11#: Kirumi Tojo
Rule 11: "An Act of Heroism"
- The survivors climbed the mountain to see several boats approaching the camp, everyone was tired, exhausted but happy to hear about the signal sent by K1B0's AI, when they were about to leave, the killer jumped from one of the bushes and grabbed Kaede by the hair and threatening the blonde with a knife. When Kirimu jumped on the killer's shoulders, making Kaede fall to the ground, the other students saw Kirumi fight the killer, ordering everyone to flee and smiled, thanking them for allowing her to be their maid and thus perform her last service.
- Everyone nodded frighteningly and ran towards the boat, Kirumi was beaten and scratched by a knife and before the killer could escape she grabbed him by the shirt towards the edge of the cliff making them both fall, killing them both on impact.
- No one found their bodies.

Week 4: I wonder if you know
Howdy y'all, it's me Connor back after another week jumping around Japan. And oh boy this week was one for the books as it was Tokyo week, but I'll get to that later.
Classes have continued on ramping up as my finals for Japanese and Engineering begin next week. I have been spending a lot more of my free time in the library rather than exploring the city, yet still I am always excited to learn. Japanese is such a fun language and I can't get enough. However I would be lying if I said I'm not stress about our final this Friday.

This is a photo my friend Ethan and myself in the library about to work on our engineering presentations. The topic I chose was car materials and applications. I am doing a deep dive primarily into the interior systems of a car and the different types of plastics and electronics that are used. I have a week left and lots of research to go so I'll get back to everyone on my findings.
We also had quite a few outings this week tied into what we were learning in the classroom:

These photo were taken in the National Traffic Safety and Environment Laboratory. This is a center dedicated research to improve automotive quality within Japan. My expectations were blown out of the water by this experience. They had a state of the art fog room (Left) where we got to see how they tested headlight power and visibility. They also had a massive anechoic chamber (Right), it was so quiet and they use it to make sure vehicles on the road are not too loud.

Another huge portion of this week was motorcycles. We got to visit both the Suzuki and Yamaha museums and see their massive displays of motorcycles and history. The top photo is in front of the Suzuki factor. The photo on the left is me sitting on the Suzuki Hayabusa, a motorcycle which when produced was so fast and had so much power that it changed the way motorcycles were produced forever, (There were laws made because it was so unsafe). On the right is Suzuki's most recent Motorsport bike. I did not know much about it but regardless the experience was a wonderful time.

This is a photo from inside the Yamaha Museum of the MT-09 an 850cc motorcycle. It was my favorite in the museum and there was so much to see. I even got to ride in a motorcycle simulator which was a ton of fun. I learned so much about motorcycles this week and if my mom were not reading these blogs I would say I want one.
The final academically tied experience was a trip to the Yokohama Rubber tire factory. Sadly I was not allowed to take any photos inside but the plant was massive and we got to walk around the factory floor seeing each step of how a tire is produced. If anyone plans on going in the future just know the factory is hot and smells terribly of burned rubber.
Now for the Complete Tokyo Review
Granted this won't be the largest review as I really only had one night and one day to explore but oh boy did I do so much.

This is me at Shibuya Crossing, one of if not the most famous crosswalk in the world if not for Times Square. We went on a Friday night and it was so amazing. The streets were packed and it was louder than any other place in Japan it was so exciting. In addition Shibuya Crossing is the home of the Hachiko statue. There is a very large history to this statue that I highly recommend everyone look up, it made me tear up a bit. We had a quick hot pot dinner that was amazing and I went with a huge group of my friends. That was just about the end of the first night in Tokyo as we got in super late and did not want to miss the last train but I had a massive day ahead of me.

These are photos of m at the Meiji-Jingu Shrine. I was not allowed to take photos within the shrine, it was very elegant however many of the shrines in Kyoto put it to shame. What was really cool was the massive Torii gates, the inner garden, and the famous sake wall. They were all spectacular and the garden was beyond serene. The one downside is that there were way more tourists here than in Nagoya.

The upper photos are from the Sinso-Ji shrine. It was exceptionally beautiful and there were a ton of shops around that I got lost in. I found this full fish skewers near a live performance and got one. It was unsurprisingly fishy and salty. The bottom photos are taken from the Tokyo Skytree the largest building in the city. The Tokyo Skyline is amazing and the city is so much bigger than I could ever imagine it was beautiful. I had such a full day in Tokyo and it really was amazing. Next up are all the roadside adventures we had.

This is a famous volcano we stopped at. It reeked of sulfur but was very cool otherwise. It was well know for its black eggs. They are hard-boiled eggs said to increase you life-span by 7 years and they only sold them in counts of 4 so hopefully I enjoy the extra 28 years I get. The bottom photo was just at a gas station on the side of the highway where you were supposed to be able to see Mount Fuji but it was covered in cloud and not in great view so I got this cool photo instead.

The last stop was a skywalk on the longest suspended bridge in Japan. This thing swayed back and forth like crazy and I was terrified walking across. However on the other side there was a ton of cool stuff such as this owl exhibit where you to pet and see owls up close. Although I also got a finger bit off I would do it again in a heart beat.
Because this week was so busy I do not have a ton of food pictures however I do have one very funny photo from Tokyo.

This was a bowl of ramen I received in Tokyo. I ordered a small and it came with this massive mountain of bean sprouts. I was very determined to finish it and it was so delicious but it proved to be too much.
Anyways, that about sums up my week so I will see y'all after finals.

Viper's real name was lost to history, covered by the shadows of rumor and speculation, born to a military family that moved frequently due to his parent's deployments. Growing up as a military brat, Viper found it challenging to form any sort of stable connection, always the new kid in town, forever on the outside looking in.
As a child, Viper was enthralled by adventure and danger, spending his days exploring abandoned buildings on or around the military bases, venturing into nature to find dangerous life, and delving into forbidden areas.
As he grew older, Viper became enamored with the natural world, particularly the deadly inhabitants of the animal and plant kingdoms. He immersed himself in the study of poisons, venoms and toxins, honing his skills in concocting deadly mixtures that could kill with just a drop while also testing himself to make cures and remedies for them
It was during one of these ventures to a restricted part of the new military base he had moved too that he stumbled upon a hidden laboratory under a ruined building. The ladder was under a piece of rubble he had moved in hopes of finding one of the native snake species. He climbed down the rusted ladder, kicking away spider webs and egg sacks as he went. When he hit the ground after what seemed like three stories worth of climbing down rungs. He fumbled in his messenger bag for his flash light. Being a military brat meant he always was overprepared.
Once the light was flicked on he gazed in shock at the room filled with vials. On closer inspection to the lables he relized the lab was full of deadly toxins, bioweapons, twisted mutations of all that was natural, and classified research documents.
Intrigued by the contents of the lab, Viper began to experiment with the agents, fascinated by their potential for destruction. He learned to mix and concoct deadly solutions along with their cures.
At first he only tested these on animals but the more results he got, the more the curiosity to test them on a human grew.
Being a medic himself he couldn't bring himself to test it on some random person. He grabbed one of the toxins, one he knew wasn't deadly and placed a tourniquet on his arm. He pulled the rubber around his upper arm tight and pushed the needle into his vein. As soon as the plundger was pushed all the way he pulled the band off his arm.
He gasped as a rush of fire coarsed through his Veins and subsequently into his heart. The pain wasn't unbearable but the scare was enough for him to franticlly grab the antidote off the tray. He managed to inject the entire solution just as the first agent reached his brain. He dropped the needle as he felt himself grow dizzy and fall fast towards the floor. He was unconscious before he even hit the floor.
When he awoke several hours later he felt almost numb. It was as if his nerve endings had been fried. He should be burning up, after all this was a military base in the middle of a desert and he could see the light still peaking through the cracks of the ceiling.
He dragged himself off the floor and up into his chair. He grabbed the glass vial and turned it over. When he read the lable his heart sank. He had grabbed the wrong one. The agent he thought he had grabbed was one that would make him feel a sense of nostalgia. This one he had never tested. There was around six agents he had yet to test out and this was one of them. However the X on the front didn't e as e the growing worry in his chest. There was still some of the agent in the bottle. Maybe he could test him on someone to see if there would be any lasting effects...
