hey tumblr does anyone have any recs for good news apps that arent like. annoying. bc im trying to ditch twitter and one of the things i liked was being able to follow news accts and get headlines easily (especially wrt weather stuff, or recall info)

would enjoy:

ability to add local news stuff

ability to add weather stuff, including like actual SPC and NWS things, perferably targeted to location (like being able to follow NWS central texas)

not having annoying stuff like "oh if you want us to stop shoving fox news in ur face u gotta pay us money :)"

like listen i realize getting news from sources w diff viewpoints can be important but also i do not fucking at all value the viewpoint of fucking fox news and ya kno. theres a difference between "get opinions on this spending bill across the political spectrum" and "hey you wanna have genocide denial shoved in your face?"
