There are three levels of anatomy in a visual message: Representationally, Symbolically, Abstractly. I’m trying to explain it but it sounds like I’m talking about some logical /morality problems. Hard to say.
What ducks, sparrows, and parrots have in common are a pair of feathery wings and a hard beak. These features can be recognized by their shape, lines, etc, and help us to identify them as birds. Reality is dominated and based on the visual information that can be seen. All of the visual information have their meaning, that we called it “Representation”
Symbolism means a thing has meanings more than just itself. It can be an object, a letter, or an action. For instance, a cross is a cross(in reality), but at the same time, it symbolizes the Christian. We see a man wearing a ring, we might think he is married.
What about Abstraction? It is a process to simplify all the basic elements that we see. Sometimes, there are no connections between pure abstract and things we already know. It can be a kind of feeling that brings to us. Such as music, it gives you a feeling, which cannot be seen.
A  △ can be the symbolism of the word “Triangle” in math homework. On the street, it becomes a warning sign▽ to draw people’s attention. When it is pointing ▷to something, we will see it as a direction tool. Therefore, visual messages can be different based on different environments.
We can see that the visual message can exist at the same time and can be also separated into different levels. And for different people, they may see the same element as having different meanings. That’s the interest of our mind.

I see a lot of praise for the ODAAT team for their research in depicting a lesbian teenager, and I definitely agree, but I think it’s important to note that a lot of the authenticity and poignancy of Elena’s character can be attributed to the fact that the show has 2 lesbian writers, Becky Mann and Michelle Badillo

Why do people in the Skam remakes fandom believe Iman Meskini was forced to apologize because of the reaction the Skam italia fans gave her during the share the love con in Italy when Iman simply stated that she was disappointed in Skam italia for not casting a real Muslim.
I didn't know that people thought that. Granted, I stay out of the tags anymore because I have a sense of self-preservation when it comes to fandom anymore.
I understand her disappointment in them casting a non-Muslim to play a Muslim role, but (and this is just my opinion) as long as they have an actual Muslim and hijabi on hand to help with the proper rrepresentation,I don't think it should be a huge deal. After all, I have to sit through show after show where straight actors get to play gay roles and are praised for it.

By Funmilayo Olusanya Media personality Solomon Buchi, has stated that Christians shouldn't listen to music by artists like Beyoncé, Cardi B, and others since they are immoral. According to Buchi, "Beyoncé’s music has occasional outbursts of profanity against the Bible. One of her lyrics reads: “I plugged my menses with pages from the holy book.” This is SATANISM. "Many of her songs illustrate impiety and promote symbols that represent spiritual m rkiness. This might be considered sI#nderous to some of you that tenaciously stan her, however, as Christians, we don’t stan people because they are popular, we stan Godly rrepresentation Read Also >> VIDEO – Atiku to form Govt of national unity if elected, accuses APC of indepth corruption "She and her compeers promote an overtly sensual and vainly lustrous perception of womanhood. Is she talented? Yes! Is she a good performer? Yes! But talent doesn’t equal godliness and worldly excellence doesn’t justify God’s presence. It is same with Christians who listen to Nicki Minaj, and the rest who constantly talk about their privates. Really amoral lyrics. WAP. Why should a Christian listen to songs like this? What exactly does it do to your mind? They may have trendy beat and irresistible melodies, but they are created to mast¥rbate your mind away from spiritual alertness. I am a musician, I play the guitar and I can tell you for free that music is powerful! Highly powerful. "David played the harp and demons left Saul. If it’s possible to chase away demons through music, isn’t it logically consistent to assume it’s possible to attract certain demons and spirits through music? For some Christians, the impediment to the renewal of your mind is the songs you listen to. It’s impossible to desire chastity and be listening to songs that promote lust and provoking lyrics. You can’t, my friends. Music doesn’t need so much of your permission, it permeates. "If you desire spiritual growth, you should definitely stop listening to a lot of songs. If they promote nudity, immoral attitudes, and godlessness, avoid them. Avoid them. No. I’m not asking you to cancel any musician. Nobody is beyond redemption, however, as a Christian, you must say NO to many things everyone have no problem with. This conversation is not a matter of it being a sin or NOT. It’s a matter of focusing on things that are pure. Your salvation is eternally safe, but your walk with God needs work."

Review of Anything's Possible - Billy Porter's Sweet But Uneven Teen Trans Romantic Comedy | Film
Review of Anything’s Possible – Billy Porter’s Sweet But Uneven Teen Trans Romantic Comedy | Film
RRepresentation can be a double-edged sword. There is an undeniable power in seeing yourself reflected on screen, in normalizing marginalized identities, but the focus on visibility alone can reduce complex characters to one identity, one presentation, one checkbox on a list. That’s the fine line walked by Anything’s Possible, a coming-of-age rom-com directed by Pose star Billy Porter, and in its…

BIN 620 - Process Modeling and Analysis
In these four weeks of class it was interesting to learn process modeling, as its name indicates, it has two aspects that define it: modeling and processes. I had the opportunity to develop a description of a system and the activities carried out in it. The diagramming part was interesting since it establishes a visual representation of the processes and subprocesses, which allows us to obtain a preliminary information on the amplitude of them, their interrelations, their times and their activities.
What surprised me most, is that when a process is modeled with the help of a graphic rrepresentation or process diagram, the interrelations between different activities can be easily appreciated, each activity analyzed, the points of contact with other processes defined, as well as identify the subprocesses included.
In the work aspect, what will help me and use the most is the graphic representation, since it facilitates the analysis. Decision making will also be important since it makes it possible to distinguish between those activities that add value to those that do not, that is, they do not directly provide the client with anything from the process or the desired result. In this last sense it is necessary to make a precision, since not all the activities that do not provide added value have to be unnecessary; these can be support activities and be required to make management and control functions more efficient, for security reasons or for regulatory and legislative reasons.

#ootd I wanted to try a "penance"of sorts in commemoration of #SpyWednesday (I've heard it also called the Day of Loneliness), the day Judas betrayed Jesus Christ for 30 pieces of silver. I gathered 30 separate silver things to wear and tried to reflect on those things I sell out Jesus for: gossip, noise, social media (this is an especially big one for me), pride, jealousy, etc. I noticed a few things reflecting on it throughout the day. First, wearing 30 of anything can be uncomfortable, and I found myself adjusting the chains, trying to keep them in order, untangling them, detaching them from the buttons they'd easily get stuck to. It made me wonder if Judas struggled to keep appearances in order after deciding to betray his own teacher, friend, Messiah. Lies are hard to untangle, hard to keep in order, like multiple chains hanging on your neck or loose bangles falling down your wrist as you go about your day. Second, after getting a little used to the chains, I looked at them and thought how nice they really look, what an attractive accessory, chic and elegant. Like Judas, it's easy for me to be attracted to silver (it's a pretty metal), attracted to things that will or could distance me from Christ. There is vanity there, in sin. Finally, I realized that most of the silver I wore was around my neck, unintentionally (at first) connecting to Judas hanging himself in regret of his action. I physically wore what he ultimately died under the weight of. But instead of keeping it there, I can physically remove those rrepresentations of sin, temptation, and shame. Unlike Judas, I can positively act against my own failings and sins against Christ. And I choose to. I fail in so many ways, but here it us today, and every day, and every moment if needed: the chance to choose Christ and His life, however much temptation or shame gets in the way. #dayofloneliness #desolation #betrayal #WednesdayofHolyWeek #black #silver #thirtypiecesofsilver #thirtypiecepenance #reminder #reflection #remembrance #prayer #conviction #repentance #

"This is why representation matters so much, I should have felt like this long before the age" too bad Latinas didn't get the rrepresentation we were promised and too bad the fandom wants us to stfu so they can enjoy it.
I had to go and research to figure out what you meant. I’m so sorry that representation was promised and dangled in front of you, there is no excusing it. Representation on all fronts matters.
