Hiiiiii hope your doing well! I was wondering about how long you have been in the rpdr fandom and if there is any other ship lore within the fandom from different seasons? I'm new this season and was curious if the planymphia craze has happened during any other season!

HELLO! this is such a cute question 💛 i've been in the fandom since 2018, the first season i watched live was season 9 but i didn't engage much with the fans until season 10 and all stars 4.

a new ship pops up every season truly! with a lot of lore i can think of, obviously, trixya who have a long history with each other and many little moments their shippers reference (even a possible song trixie wrote for katya? idk if she confirmed soldier is for katya but i do remember her saying it makes her think of katya and that's so sweet, such a sweet song!). maybe also lemyanka to a lesser extent? a lot of people thought they were dating lmao. kam/dame/paloma from drf s1 too i think, but kam has always had a bf so it was mostly shipping in the realm of dreams.

but the whole cast thinking they're a thing, constantly being together, traveling together... the only similar moment in US seasons to my knowledge of people thinking the queens are dating (besides jinkx and ivy and obv branjie) is during the finale of s6 when adore got a fan question about having a crush on bianca but both of them shut it down so fast 😭 courtney was getting her life tho! camgeria also had a bit of a showmance but really, imo planymphia are something else 🥰.

to this day i think survivor 43 is the absolute maddest i've ever gotten at a reality tv competition finale. and i sat through rpdr season 10 and the challenge bote2.

Heyy i saw your post about drag race, the season you're referring is probably season 7. I never seen someone who likes atla that is also interested with drag race like me so I'm giddy what's your favorite season and who's your favorite queens?

I figure out it's season 7 after I remember violet's runway. I just rewatch it actually lol. Yeah, I think it's rare because I never meet someone irl that like atla and rpdr at the same time, so I have different sets of friends I talk my interest about because if I think about something I love I feel like I'm going to blow up if I don't vent out my thoughts 😂. For my fav season All Star 2 probably and then my top 3 favorite regular season are:

1.) Season 5- it have many iconic queens, iconic moments and lipsyncs plus it had the most diverse maxi challenges.

2.) Season 6- great set of queens, the drama and untucked this season just gets me 💀

3. ) Season 7- well many people find this season boring but it's actually not. The challenges given to the girls sucks they bombarded them with various acting challenges. Many queens this season are ironically funny plus this season probably has the most successful queens which brings me to my favs because most of them came from season 7 😂.

I have many favs but on my top list are: Katya, Violet, Pearl, Trixie and Fame (all of them came from s7 😂). I also love Tatianna, Manila, Alyssa, Coco, Rolaskatox, Raja, Adore, Jinkx, Kim chi, Bob, Sasha, Shea and many more.

I actually stop watching by season 10 and I barely what S10 but now I'm trying to get to it again started watching s15 yesterday.

RuPaul's Drag Race review

Watched because my friend recced me it and boy am I glad I did start watching it. It is going to be very hard to review because it has 15 seasons, but man, let's go.

Captivation: 7/10. Really depends on the episode, but overall I'm pretty invested in what's going on.

Chemistry between hosts: 10/10. i am talking about Ru and Michelle. They feel like really old friends who have been through a lot and just have a general understanding of one another. Of course, Michelle wasn't there at the first seasons, but I think she's at the core of rpdr now.

Set: 10/10. The girls have a pretty pink workroom, lounge area, there is a pretty stage and judges panel and it's just. Muah.

Humor: 6/10. The best jokes come from the contestants, but sometimes it can be so horrendously stupid, it is not funny anymore. I mean fart and sex jokes, like c'mon guys.

Challenges: 10/10. In all 15 years of it, they have managed to keep me excited about challenges. Some have become a tradition, like the snatch game, but they're also adding something, taking something and playing with the concept. One of the reasons why I love rpdr is because of how different the challenges are. The queens really have to do it all - model, design, sew, sing, dance, choreograph, act, write and so much more! It is always fun to watch.

Contestants: 10/10. All of them are funky little drag queens, from different backgrounds, with different stories, with different personalities and all loving drag.

Goal: 8/10. Pretty cool that they're representing drag, and lgbt+ community with it. However, it's still showbiz babey and you can tell.

Overall score: 8.7

If you like pretty looks and gays, go for it.

P.S. the new 40 minute format of season 15 is awful, they're skipping so much 🥲
