“So this is gonna sound absolutely insane, but I need you face tonight,” he said, it wasn’t the most eloquent way to put it, but it got the point across. All throughout their time at school people mistook each boy for the other. They were true doppelgangers. “You’re going to be excepting an award for me tonight, if you agree, because I have to be in Auroria with my girlfriend hoping their family doesn’t implode.”

In hindsight storming out of Fairy Godmothers office wasn’t the best sight, especially from a VK, but Carlos was upset and rightfully so. Because he was younger than the others, apparently he wouldn’t be able to graduate with them, even though his grades were excellent and he was in their classes. It wasn’t fair! He was rummaging in his locker and then slammed it shut, not expecting anyone to be around. But someone was, “Sorry, Danny,” he apologized stealing himself to make it seem like nothing was wrong.

The thing about Slightly was that he could spot interesting people, or people he thought were interesting. So he came up to the boy, his head tilted, there was something about him. It could also be that Slightly had met him before, which in all honesty was a possibility. But Slightly, had an awful memory, so you couldn’t truly blame him for not remembering. “Whatcha up to?” he asked.
