#fallforcostume LIGHT is this hand embroidered #Victorian collar. 👑 In #victotianera It was common to wear full black gown with a touch of white in the neck and cuffs whenever the wearer could afford. 🖤🦇The black symbolized the darkness of the period lived (mourning) and the white peeping through the light and purity of the wearer. 💙💎 This collar has coffee beans and waves motifs on it representing my home and the riches of Brazil. 💛💛💛 Similar motifs made by #HouseofWorth can be found on REAL Brazilian Baronesses clothing in museums.
