Season 2, Winners bracket final!

This is the final match of the winners bracket! The loser will go to the losers bracket final to match up against the winner of the losers semifinal, and the winner of this match will go straight to the championship!

The contestants are:

Character 19: She’s a lesbian, a cannibal, a deadbeat dad, and the first openly queer woman of color to be elected New Jersey state senator. She has an evil alter ego that eats dirt and wants her to have an affair with her estranged butch ex. She’s the definition of girlfailure. She survived 18 months in the Canadian wilderness. She is haunted by visions. She’s surrounded by wolf and dog symbolism everywhere she goes. She helped her old best friend cover up a murder. She’s insanely ambitious but only because she’s trying to run away from her past and more importantly herself. She’s also a MILF if that helps.

Character 81: Gotta love a time traveling girlie with no respect for continuity or preservation of the timeline! This one almost changes the entire course of Independence with her giant mouth! She also ends up sweeping her boyfriend off his feet years before they meet which makes his life quite difficult. And she got her sister killed by accident. Plus she almost kills her mentor by tearing apart his parent's marriage Marty McFly style! All of this to say, her life is a mystery she may never fully unravel.

Bit late now but I think separating classic who and new who would have been a good idea and a bit fairer.

well yeah, but also that would have been kinda less interesting, i've loved watching certain classic companions narrowly gain victories from what i thought would have been obvious nuwho sweeps (thinking especially about the ian/clara match) and also seeing which classic characters have ended up being winning and iconic (hi ian). tbh if there was one thing i'd change going back to the start, it would be not putting four characters from any category through, because that's what made it possible for there to (technically only potentially but probably certainly) be an rtd-only semifinal and final, although that's also in part a problem of assuming equality across nuwho eras and classic who eras as two broad categories, and then splitting every group across the four corners of the bracket rather than, say, putting two rtd characters into two of the semifinal feeders. idk, there's lots of ways it could have been done differently, but the "unfair" results are also part of the interesting bits for me
