donnie:

has files on everyone he knows with everything he knows about them

mikey:

cook of the fam

gets injured the most

makes his own stickers

first one to get a partner

sleeps with all the blankets

Though, mind you, nausea is a real thing.

Being Friends with Mikey (Hcs)

HE WOULD BE AMAZING TO BE FRIENDS WITH

Especially if you're an artist/creative like he is

Mikey's a friendly and outgoing guy, so whether you're more of a reserved introvert, an extrovert like him, or somewhere in between, he's gonna love ya no matter what

He's just happy to be there

For sure would wanna paint with you if you're an artist as well, maybe even do those things where he'll paint for 5 minutes and then give you the same canvas to paint on when the 5 minutes are up, then yall keep going back and forth

But, if you're not an artist, you guys still find ways to have fun and hangout

Video games, pizza, watching a new show with you, etc. he loves it all

100% will listen to you rant about hyperfixiations and stuff

You wanna talk about this certain character? He's all ears (would totally draw you fanart of said character)

However, even though you guys love having fun together and keeping busy, Mikey is also a great listener if you have issues you wanna rant about

And of course you would do the same for him, he may be a bubbly character but he has his insecurities as well

If you're the youngest child too, yall would definitely vent about that

So no matter what, you both have each others backs <3

I’m a sucker for Good Dad Splinter ever since I watched TMNT ‘03. That rat was gifted sapience and his immediate instinct was kindness. I love that for him.

Rise Splinter lived a rollercoaster of a life, but as a Hollywood star he remembered the names of all his stunt guys and coworkers, and as a prisoner he cared for the rat that shared his cell. His sons are very close and physically affectionate, I think that says something about how he cares? That’s just how I like to headcanon him :)

It’s interesting to explore the idea that a seemingly monstrous transformation is what pushed him to be a kinder human

Based on a hc I have that Rise Mikey’s powers evolve to the point where he can summon fire. Sounds very cool, but he’s also the youngest sibling. He does shit like this. He absolutely abuses it.

AU where Leo is trapped in the Prison Dimension for months instead of minutes and the only way he gets by with his sanity intact is through recording himself talking to his wrist comm.

When they finally manage to get Leo back and make him rest up to heal, Donnie can’t help but listen to the recordings left behind.

He’s not sure what exactly he’s expecting, only that his subconscious is screaming at him that it has to be heartbreaking, that it has to be torturous.

Instead, what Donnie is subject to is a full thousand hours’ worth of Jupiter Jim and Lou Jitsu crossover fanfiction. More than one part in the series. Spanning well over a million words.

(The worst part is that it’s actually good.)

Every so often I’ll remember that canonically, Raph (the big hulking 7ft giant) has fainted trying to lift a bus, TWICE, while Mikey (the itty bitty child who is the size of ONE of Raph’s arms) has lifted and thrown a bus, an eighteen-wheeler, a cargo ship, and a skyscraper like it was nothing

I know Raph is strong and it’s shown throughout the show with him lifting and destroying heavy things, but it is my most beloved headcanon that Draxum designed Mikey to be the strongest out of the four in order to make up for his small size. And so I love the idea that Mikey is the only one who can best Raph in arm wrestling competitions and can lift his big brother as easily as a handful of grapes <3 (Bonus points if neither of them have realized this because he’s never actually tried)

With Donnie's bday coming up October 22nd it got me thinking we know Leo's is August 14th, Raph's is December 19th, (and because of the air date in the show) we know know April's is May 11th, but when is your bday?

I must know so I have a list of everyone's bday dates.

So apparently most people don’t get only four hours of sleep average. Who knew?

Based on real conversation I had with myself lol. Literally my roommates suggested and medical professionals told me I had insomnia, and I was like “naw, I can sleep sometimes, surely that’s normal!” until I was drawing at 2:00am and it finally sunk in while I was listening to a podcast about it.

Must be nice to be a turtle living rent free in the sewers, able to take 2pm naps whenever and stay up till dawn. I love walking around when it’s dark, but it’s harder to do that in a city rather than on a farm! In the night you can see everything awash in silver from the moon, and the shadows are rich in color, the stars a direct parallel to the fireflies sparkling in the trees. The mist over the early morning fields is also so pretty, especially when the spiderwebs in the grass catch the dew :)

The city holds its own beauty at night. The hushed wind of a lone car as it passes by to places unknown, the shimmer of streetlights on cool pavement, the warm lights of distant windows reminding me that every inch of this place is full of life and people living their own stories.

Alas, sleep is also nice lol
