Oh God I already love this new intellectual AU! How would you say that changed Donnies relationship with his Brothers? Did he get closer to April because of it? Does he still make the turtle tank? Is Splinter also smart? How does them being smarter go with the problems in the episodes?

Rahhh ty! Though the love between the brothers is unaffected, there’s definitely a big strain in his relationships, especially with Raph, causing him to be a bit distant. Hes very close with April as a result, whose presence provides a sort of escape from the comparisons and feeling of falling below expectation.

Though he does help acquire the tank with Mikey following canon, he does NOT make the turtle tank, with that being a collaborative effort between Raph, Leo, and Mikey. While severely tempting, he hasn’t touched mech in a long while, especially anything his brothers are/has worked on.

Splinter is also smart— think like typical Asian immigrant household lmao. He’s big on science and innovation. As for how this all affects their missions, well.

They can be book smart while also be dumb as shit lmao

I like the idea that Mikey goes to school just to hang out with draxum during his lunch break and sometimes april skips to hang w them. There should’ve been lots of scenarios between Mikey and draxum bonding imo
