When I first heard they were rebooting Roswell I didn’t know if I wanted to watch it. I had fond memories of the original and wasn’t sure if I wanted to endure yet another mediocre reboot.

I decided to give it a one-episode chance. I watched it in my sister’s room, and she had her headphones on. She had not seen the original and had no interest in watching it.

I remember watching the pilot episode and realized this reboot would be a completely different show. I had heard Tyler Blackburn was in it and loved him on Pretty Little Liars so when he came on the screen, I paid attention. I could sense something between his character Alex and Michael. When Michael appeared in the background of the reunion scene that Alex was in… I knew what was about to happen, so I did what every sister would do. I nudged (in her words punched) her in the arm and from then on, we watched it together.

During these four seasons I have laughed with these characters, cried for them, and now I will remember them always. I will always love Malex and their love story, but I loved so many characters and ships on this show. Liz, and her science, Isobel being a badass, Kyle being the perfect friend to everyone, Rosa, becoming her best self, Maria being amazing at everything but never quite getting what she deserved, and Max who became the man I knew he could be and saved a planet.

I have proudly been apart of the Roswell New Mexico fandom on tumblr. I have created art edits and enjoyed creations by talented individuals.  I have enjoyed seeing all the gifs,edits,fanfics… and will continue to see them.

Roswell New Mexico might not have been perfect; however, it was something I enjoyed with my sister and for that I am forever grateful to these cowboy aliens.

-        I love Maria and I love Dallas but I’m not loving how they are trying to shove Maria/Dallas down my throat?

-        You better share this memory with Michael too one day, he should get to see his mom as well!!

-        Start with taking those IVs out maybe, Rosa???

-        I just love how Kyle has been learning about alien science all on his own!! And I’m really loving this trio!!

-        You tell her, Clyde!! That’s exactly what I thought from the moment I heard that line in the promo…

-        And we’re done with this stupid plot that has driven all season and most of the series half way through the episode, thank God…

-        WHO DOESN’T WANT TO GO TO A WEDDING!!

-        Such a sweet moment but this is making me bitter about having no redemption for Flint and come on, Tanner could have found a moment to come back just for a quick wedding shot

-        When she said “Don’t hate me” I thought that she maybe reached out to his mom… I’m a bit disappointed

-        MICHAEL BEING SO NERVOUS IS ADORABLE <3 <3 !!

-        “It’s got tequila in it” … and it’s Sanders, ILY Iz!

-        Sanders in a tux <3 <3 !!

-        If I were Nora and thought there might be a chance I could never see my son again I would have wrote down a diary or something, but that’s just me…

-        That was a sweet pod squad moment <3 <3 !!

-        MY HUSBAND!!!!! I’m never getting over that, thought I’m bitter we didn’t get to see the actual wedding with sappy vows and all!

-        We get a song but not the vows??? Such lazy writers.

-        Ok, spoke too soon we get to see (at least in shots) the wedding!!

-        THAT IS BONNIE??? TALK ABOUT A MAKE OVER!!

-        Who baked that cake, a five-year-old kid?? I see “malex forever” again, so maybe Bonnie?

-       @softie-city was really onto something with her post about being no longer a Manes man!

-        Michael and Alex aren’t even dancing, Maria, they are just swaying and kinda groping each other?

-        Ouch, I felt bad for Echo for a moment there but I’m so glad they got their happy ending!

Just got done watching 4x12 honestly really for the most part did not feel like I was watching a penultimate episode of a season 

This wasn’t a bad episode per say but just like with most episodes this season it is also not an episode I will be in a rush to watch again, I wish Kybel had been so much better done the Anatsa stuff at the start of this season really didn’t need to happen so while I adore the Kybel moments it still feels so rushed and with only one episode left it sucks we will never get the chance to explore them in a proper relationship. 

I understand why Max got his powers back I don’t know I just feel it would of been interesting for him to not, in terms of Echo I hate this show never really addresses all of their issues at times it feels like they just reset them until the next drama comes up, sidenote I did love Rosa as Liz’s sponsor more and more showing Rosa’s growth and we finally got some good scenes between Liz, Rosa and Kyle. 

There honestly should be a rule that ship names are never allowed to be said in a show thank god that wedding was stopped. I hate that we finally got Alex back just to spend an episode watching him on deaths door I hope they cure him quickly into the finale 

The main plot of the show just continues to not interest me as well as confuse me Clyde is one of the worst TV villains not only in this show but in all shows I do not care anymore but Liz starting to forget things is worrying me

Extra sidenote why yes I am shipping Maria and Sonya what about it

the finale was a lot better than I expected and 10x better than the legacies finale thank god!!!

and all my otps were endgame and that's a win for me!!!!

can't believe it's over and I'll never see these characters or RELATIONSHIPS again or see echo get married ugh the cw can go diaf!!!

There were actually so many good lines in that episode today! OMG!!! I think my favorite though has to be one of Alex’s....

“Hey, hey, look at me. I mean this with all the love in the world....stop whining.”

I FUCKING LOST IT!!!! I went from sobbing because Michael was sobbing to fucking falling off my bed laughing!!! Fucking Alex Manes! I love that man!!
