  he was biting his tongue for as long as he could, which granted for him, wasn’t very long. “ I know it probably wasn’t the best idea to take a hit for someone who can move things with their mind.” holding back a smile as he watched her, and he had no doubt that she might’ve been thinking the same thing. he didn’t think for a second that she wasn’t able to take care of herself. or that she wouldn’t have been able to take those guys apart in a second if she wanted.

“ but to be fair, I can’t help it that my reflexes are just a bit faster.” a lot faster, but he wasn’t one to brag. and in the split second between life or death, it wasn’t something he was willing to gamble with. especially with wanda. “ but, I’ll make you a deal. the next time we get into a sketchy situation, you can do the saving and carry me out of there. I have no problem playing the damsel.”

Headcanon / Character Development Questions

     No, cruelty is cruelty, but what’s more important is the aftermath of a cruel action. If someone, however unintentionally, acts cruel, but then recognizes their behavior, apologies for it, tries to make up for it and better themselves, then Bruce is more inclined to forgive, or at least move past it.

     But if the action is not acknowledged, or excuses start getting made, or the person shows no signs of remorse, then that’s that. He will never forget, nor will he ever forgive.

  “ okay, but if anyone asks I did not yelp in pain. I screamed in a very masculine and angry tone.” joking always helped trying to distract him from the pain, and it let him know that this brain was still working perfectly fine. carefully putting his weight to one side, a hand resting on her shoulder while he steadied himself. luckily his mask was on so people couldn’t see him wincing in pain under it with each limping step.

“ honestly, right now I’m a bit more on the thankful side that you were there. things could’ve gone a lot worse.” looking over at wanda and doing his best to give her an amused look, though thankfully the reactive lenses made expressing himself a little easier. “ this means you’re gonna insist on coming with me on more outings, doesn’t it?”

  his eyebrows furrowed a little at her, waiting for only a second or two even though his answer came to him much sooner. shaking his head from side to side while he looked to her, “ you didn’t.” he answered with a quick smile. not that he wasn’t certain that she could’ve mopped the floor with him before he’d have time to blink if she wanted to. it was his idea to spar with her, wanting to give himself some more practice against people who had abilities beyond his.

and well--things may have ended with a few hits. “ in my defense--I did tell you not to hold back. I guess I just didn’t expect those things to move that fast. or to come at me all at once.” giving a small laugh, reaching out to take her hand and squeeze it to try and put her mind at ease, “ don’t worry, I’ll be alright. but I mean--if you feel that bad--you could always kiss where it hurts.” he added, smiling as his cheeks flushed and he tapped a finger to his lip.

This is the poison of falling in love. You taste it and your heart beats fast. Your eyes dilate, you fall into deep delirium. You may be a bit dramatic and impulsive, and it gets you into trouble sometimes, but you just can't help yourself. It's in your blood. You love because it is the truest beauty you've found in this harsh world. Even when it's hurt you before, when it's poisoned you, you still find a way. this is gonna sound cliche and like a copout but honestly this whole thing is a positive experience? I love interacting with all of you. I love hearing you gush about your favorite characters. I love seeing the creativity you all have in exploring new areas and chapters and obstacles for them to overcome. I love hearing about you all and even how your day was. I love seeing the passion and love you have for writing and for the characters/fandoms you’re all in. it’s so wholesome. I love making you all feel better about yourselves and your writing because you 100% deserve it. I love that so many people are so kind and welcoming and want to write with me. it really does mean so much that I have a place to let my creativity and love for this character out and let loose. so in short? you are the most positive and best rp experience. so. thank you. it really does mean a whole lot to me and I can’t ever thank you all enough.
