RBing with more stuff I wanted to add!
The three legendary heroes Soul spoke of may or may not have some resemblance to our Rosham-Bros! These three heroes, when combining their strength, wisdom, and cunning, were able to save both worlds from a great calamity.
The three previous heroes disappeared after their work was done, promising to return once they were needed once more, but they haven’t shown up yet… or have they?
During the parts of the story where the trio has to split up, Soul does that, too! They split themself into three separate versions of themself to follow each one, because they can split up into three separate timelines until they reunite. (Don’t ask how, idk either)
Pencil does show up in the chapter 2 equivalent! Soul knows about Paper’s feelings towards her, and boo totally accepts it. “Hooray! Now we have a member pertaining to intelligence!” “Wait wait wait, I thought I was the intelligent one!” “Well, intelligence and wisdom aren’t exactly the same thing…” (calm down, there’s no Snowgrave route)
Inner demons are fought. Character development occurs.
Rock Paper Scissors community, hear me out…
…DELTARUNE-esque AU.
They just happened to discover the existence of dark worlds, and realized that the balance between light and dark is beginning to shift, thanks to something brand new they encounter… well, someONE, more like.
this someone is meant to be the Soul equivalent, and is basically some form of ghost that follows them around.
the ghost’s name is Soul, short for Soularis Trifecta (Rock came up with the name), and they unintentionally adopt Soul on account of him/her/them (Soul accepts any pronouns, but also accepts ghost neopronouns, AKA booself) indirectly being made of their very souls.
In the past, there were 3 heroes that have warded off the great disaster that Soul has warned them of. These three previous heroes in particular DO look familiar…

Three Stomps
“Nobody has ever actually seen it,” said the old man. “And nobody really ought to see it.”
I followed him up, backpack weighing heavily on my spirits. Sweaty palms made gripping the walking stick much harder.
It had rained earlier that day. Dirt and mud caked my boots. Wet grass would brush against the cuffs of my jeans, dampening the fabric.
Despite it all, and there was certainly a lot of it, I didn’t dare complain.
“Then, how do you know that there is something inside?”
The caretaker grunted, spitting out the tobacco he had been chewing on. He kept walking.
“You’ll see.”
We’d reached the top, and I could finally see what I had come for. The tower. A tall, thick tower with no adjacent buildings present. It was made from cobblestone.
It had no visible door. No visible windows.
Nobody knew when it was built, or who’d built it. The tower had been looming over Rosham since the village’s founding. I tried to locate historical documents referring to it, but there were none.
Past generations were incredibly superstitious. They’d believed in ignoring mysteries, not solving them.
What was known for certain was the story.
“How,” I whistled.
The caretaker suddenly stopped hobbling, and I nearly ran into him.
He turned to me. His eyes were small and grey, cataracts.
“G’ ahead. G’ to it, as ya please. But I’m not gettin’ any closer than this.”
I nodded and went on. I didn’t blame him.
The tower was surrounded by gravel, which shifted beneath my feet. Pebbles broke. They made tinkling sounds—like shattered crystals. Still I went on.
As I got closer and closer, I could see things. Details that had been hidden by distance and size. My initial impression proved correct. The tower was old, much older than the village.
Symbols were present in the stone, scratched as if by fingernail. They appeared to be runes, but none I had ever seen before.
I went on.
Finally, I reached the tower. I balled my hand into a fist. I knocked on the ancient stone. Once. Twice. Thrice.
The impacts echoed, reverberated upward. Dust was dislodged and quickly rained down.
And then, they came. I almost missed them. I pressed my ear against the wall.
They were faint.
But clear.
Thump.
Thump.
Thump.
Three knocks, one after one. A response to my call. Like hammers smashing nails. Like hooves striking the floor. Like—
It struck me. It came out of nowhere, an ice pick jamming right through my head. Pain scrambled my thoughts.
I screamed, stumbled backwards. I couldn’t see the jagged piece of wood. My pant leg got caught.
I fell.
The sound hadn’t faded. It was growing louder and louder in my head, ringing in—
I crawled. Slowly and pitifully. Stones cut into my palms. I left a trail of blood behind, and it might still be there.
Along with the tower.
Along with the prisoner.
And the wreckage of the ship that had carried it here.

Me and two other friends settled on a kind of rock-paper-scissors type gym. I would be psychic, and they would be dark and fighting. We'd give the Rosham Badge. ;)
Ooooh this is super interesting! So, at the beginning of the gym would you play rock-paper-scissors to determine what kind of trainers you would face as well? This is a neat idea!
