Day 5: Teachers

Hello. This day's prompt is really one I don't like. The school prompt is far too overused. I can't seem to make it interesting. Thank you for reading it though. There's quite an amount of OCs presented here. It's written like a diary.

5th August 2022,

A new school year had begun a few months ago. Having changed many schools so far, I could easily say this: this school is by far the coolest and the weirdest one I, William Sawyer, on top of my 17 years old, have ever had. First, most of the teachers don’t have a family name to be called with and what’s wrong with their personality? They don’t have a normal one for sure.

First, Mr John Danube. Sigh. This guy is the typical most hated teacher in the school. He repeatedly criticizes us. Telling us how we wouldn’t be able to survive in his time. He is the oldest teacher at this school and should retire after this year. He teaches us mathematics.

Another teacher of a similar type is Professor Lucien. He is not particularly hated by any students per se. He is even quite… loved by female students. When he is to pass through the corridor, he often ends up with a few bags of gifts. In class, when he teaches us history, all the female students would be starstruck by his appearance or his voice. To be honest, it’s truly annoying. It’s like seeing a perfect opponent in front of you.

On the crazier side, Eilod school has quite a few teachers fitting in that category.

Sir Emile, our science teacher is really nice. He is almost on par with Miss Angeline, our English teacher, known as the angel. But, behind all the nicety, this teacher is crazy. I mean, what kind of teacher teaches their students to make poison or antidotes? It’s truly a wonder how they can date each other. Maybe opposites really do attract.

The other crazy ones are more on par with each other. They are all hype all day long and it’s a wonder how they earned their post. Ms Rachelle Sanchez and Ms Esther Sanchez are both twins. Both of them are assistants in teaching, having just finished their studies. Sadly, they are watched by an even crazier teacher, Mr Matthew. He is supposed to teach us about Social Studies. In all honesty, Mr Matthew is amazing at teaching. But something must be wrong with his approach of the subject. Shouldn’t Social Studies about how to coexist with others? I fear being in his class would cause accidental mass murder more than anything else…

Miss Lydia Rosenhoff is on the other side of the crazy scale. She is super nice and hype. She teaches us music, and nothing is wrong with her. But she is kind of intimidating, with all her energy. Many of us bet that she would be the kind to blast hard rock or metal in her house and to live with a few chihuahuas.

Who else is there… Professor Victorien Wilson is one of our new teachers. While being young, he is rather nice. He teaches us philosophy and has the exact image of what we can expect of him. Often lost in his thoughts, he could forget the whole class to reflect on a sudden subject. While we don’t often talk to him, he is probably the silent type like Professor Lucien but on the nicer side. Well, it’s mostly because he doesn’t give us a lot of homework, unlike Pr Lucien.

Then, we have Mr George Byrne. He is the second eldest, right after John Danube, but he has nothing similar to that guy. He is nice, funny and understanding. Teaching us about computers may be a bit awkward but he is genuinely interested in his subject and in teaching us.

Last but not least is my dear sister. She is honestly the best among all of these teachers. She is nice, honest and is not afraid to speak rudely. All the students are comfortable with her because of her way to teach and speak to us. She is quite hot-headed but that’s another reason why I like her. I mean, all of us students. She teaches us Technology. In her classes, we even solder lamps or construct a small house with real concrete. It’s fun.

And while sister Sacha is the best. There is another one even better. It’s the principal. Ms Alice. She is amazing. Even if everyone is uncomfortable with her, as she is quite silent and dishonest, she is very thoughtful. She may be the busy principal, but she is also the backup teacher. She can teach us anything. That’s why I admire her so much. There is nothing she cannot do. She may deny it, but she is a real genius.
