Raza Jaffrey as Dr. Neal Hudson, an ER attending physician. A British-Indian former surgeon, his approach is quieter and more people-oriented, than his mentor Dr. Rorish. He connected with Christa during her first year of residency. In "Hail Mary", Hudson becomes a surgical attending, and is once again assigned to the ER (season 1).[7][8]

Bonnie Somerville as Dr. Christa Lorenson, a mature first-year resident. She was married with a son who died of brain cancer. Her experience and her divorce inspired her to attend medical school (season 1).[7]

Melanie Chandra as Dr. Malaya Pineda, a first-year resident (seasons 1–2). She went to medical school and did her internship at Angels Memorial, and is more familiar with the ER. She is a lesbian, who was once involved with a resident when she was a medical student.

William Allen Young as Dr. Rollie Guthrie, an ER attending physician with a very nurturing style; he takes Angus under his wing in his first days in the ER. Guthrie's wife committed suicide, a death that strained his relationship with his son, a surgeon. During season 2, Guthrie is diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, and undergoes corrective neurological surgery to delay the onset of symptoms. Guthrie had a daughter who died from carbon monoxide poisoning while Guthrie tried to save his son from a similar death.

Harry Ford as Dr. Angus Leighton, a first-year resident. His father is on the hospital board. He feels overshadowed by that and by the achievements of his older brother, a former resident, but slowly grows in confidence. In his second year he is encouraged to transfer and become a surgical resident.

Benjamin Hollingsworth as Dr. Mario Savetti, a first-year resident. He grew up poor and sees emergency medicine as his way out. He worked as a bartender before medical school.

Luis Guzmán as Jesse Salander, known as "Mama". A senior nurse who manages the residents, Jesse is tough but caring and supportive of the students. He and Dr. Rorish have a long-term, close friendship.

Boris Kodjoe as Dr. Will Campbell, Chief of Surgery. In season 2 he is assigned as the new Chief of the combined Surgery and Emergency medicine department in order to save costs, causing strife between him and Rorish. Campbell has a disabled daughter (season 2–3; recurring in season 1).

Jillian Murray as Dr. Heather Pinkney, a surgical resident who becomes involved with Mario.(season 2; recurring in season 1). He quickly ends it when he hears about her side relationship with Dr. Campbell. She gets in further trouble when it's revealed she's providing Angus with Adderall. When confronted by Campbell, she threatens to turn their past relationship into a sexual harassment case.

Noah Gray-Cabey as Elliot Dixon, a first-year resident in the ER (season 2-3).

Emily Tyra as Noa Kean, an ER resident and former dancer. She begins a relationship with Dr. Mario Savetti (season 3; recurring season 2)

Emily Alyn Lind as Ariel Braeden (season 3; guest seasons 1–2)

Shiri Appleby as Dr. Carla Niven, a former resident at Angels Memorial and Malaya's ex-girlfriend. She is diagnosed with leukemia while pregnant, and refuses treatment not wanting to harm the baby.

Christina Vidal as Dr. Gina Perello, the replacement Director of the Emergency Department at Angels Memorial, who takes over when Dr. Taylor is put on leave.

Gabrielle Carteris as Amy Wolowitz, R.N., a nurse in the Emergency Department.

Meagan Good as Dr. Grace Adams, returns to the ER after volunteering in Haiti. She is Dr. Neal Hudson's ex-girlfriend.

Nafessa Williams as Charlotte Piel, a new first-year resident in the ER who was formerly a popular teenaged actress.

Tyler Perez as Diego Avila, son of a hospital board member and a first-year resident. He drives the staff and patients crazy by filming them to make a documentary about the Angels ER.

Alex Lange as Max, a young cancer patient with whom Ariel strikes up a friendship, which turns into young love.

non tw verse: rosalie or rose for short is a model that started her career at a very young age and was misconstrued as a spoiled brat by her former manager. she was thrown into a harsh world that seemed glamorous and couldn’t find her voice until she was 18 years old thanks to a friend that stepped in. she decided to go public with the struggles she had gone through and even though she knew a lot of people could see her as a ‘poor rich white girl’ she didn’t believe that diminished the psychological, verbal and sometimes physical abuse the industry put on her. bc of this, she has become somewhat of an advocate with her following and is trying to figure out her next steps that certainly involve helping others not to go through the same thing she did.

Liam's name is the name of a boy of Irish origin meaning "resolute protection".

Liam originated as the nickname of Uilliam, the Irish variant of William. William is an English name from German origin brought to Ireland when the British fled England after the conquest of Norman.

The Irish began to use English names, including William, which led to the development of Uilliam and its short form, Liam.

Season 2 Episode 3- Just a Barbie Girl in a Barbie Woooorld

These are the challenges made me love the Bravo seasons of Project Runway. They’re fun, yet they have real relevance to the fashion industry. And, for the first time this season, most of the looks were actually decent!

Challenge: Create a new dress for Barbie to be manufactured and sold as part of the Barbie My Scene Line

13. Andrae

This is bad for a barbie and bad for a real woman. I love a bubble skirt that is made well...this does not fit into that category. And the skirt is a completely different look than the cropped hoodie vest. Oh Andrae.

12. Raymundo

He literally combined the two dress that were eliminated in the first episode...how did he think that was going to go? Nothing about this reads Barbie, it’s more ladies who lunch but they lunch at the McDonalds in Wal Mart.

11. Zulema

It’s just blah. A basic tube dress with a sheer tank over it. And it’s not even in a fun color.

10. Guadalupe

Whomever put her on the show must have been color blind because this is two out of three weeks that her print and color relations have been a mess. And the third week? She made an all white look. The shawl is stupid and restricting, the half sleeve is confusing and I want to rip that rose off of her chest. The actual dress? Not bad.

9. Marla

I’m honestly not sure why this was in the bottom 2. The color is vibrant enough for barbie and it overall had that barbie vibe. Yes, it is a little old but the crop top saves it...a bit. The skirt is a total throw away.

8. Emmett

I would be willing to bet that if you went into the Barbie archives that you would find this dress on a 70s Barbie. It’s cute, fun, and flirty, but not for 2006.

7. Kara

This just reads slightly too junior for me. I like the skirt, but the sweater is a total throw away. The bow on the belt needs to go too, along with the hair and hat. The skirt is cool and fun and I think a more sophisticated top would have done wonders.

6. Daniel V.

Eh, ok. The vest is cute, as is the dress, and they do go together. I just don’t feel any excitement from this dress at all. The color pallet is good though.

5. Daniel F.

Essentially a version of Chloe’s winning dress last week, and totally not for Barbie. That being said it is a well made dress that brings some excitement. The fit and flare of the skirt takes it to a tween/teen place it needed to go for this challenge.

4. Chloe

This is just so stinkin cute. Maybe too cute for Barbie? That blush fabric she chose was beautiful and I love the rhinestoned trim that she added for the extra bling. It may just have been too simple for the judges to reward.

3. Diana

I could totally see Barbie rockin the art school rebel look. Each of these three pieces is good on their own and work well together. The skirt could be a go to piece for a lot of women and the hoodie adds the drama needed for the runway. Well done Diana (though she never gets any love on the show).

2. Nick

Nick was a genius with styling, which is why he won the challenge. That head scarf added the perfect amount of pazzaz to catch the judges attention. He rouched the entire top without making his model look larger which is an incredible feat. The only reason it isn’t #1...I just liked another one more.

1. Santino

Frickin CAH-YUTE! This is a dress for Barbie! His color story was great and I love all of the ruffles he added without making it too girly and junior. The length keeps it very sexy and fun. This just IS a Barbie dress.
