Bonus:
Rosa was created because, frankly, I was horny.
Origins & histories of my characters:
Sol was the first OC out of the five that I made. He was originally a Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure fan character, and had a stand called “Black Hole Sun” with an ability called “Outshined”, both named after Soundgarden songs.
Jebden was originally a concept for a character who was an arrogant trickster god. Now he only acts like one.
Rex was created one night after I had a moment while listening to the entirety of The Door’s discography during the Wretched Summer of ‘21. He was based off of what I was going through and how I was at that time.
Johann was originally a much different character named Johann Emmanuel Katzun, who was an assassin, less pathetic, and lived a much healthier lifestyle.
Fabio was created as a character that was meant to be an antagonist who was killed by Jebden, and both were at the time in some sort of assassin AU. Fabio’s desire to kill Jebden has not changed.

They’re a bit messy, but here are sketches of Johann Meine referenced from photos of various musicians from well-known bands and VD//GG.
I have yet to properly introduce him yet, but Johann F. Meine is an earlier character of mine who is a part of a set of 5 characters who I collectively call “Hard Soup”. It includes a salamander named Sol, a fox named Jebden, a wolf named Rex, a cat named Johann, and an eagle named Fabio. References of all of them may come soon.
#johann friedrich meine#fun fact: his mother who is a communist named him after friedrich engels#another fun fact johann is a socialist but only in the way that he agrees with socialist theory. he doesn’t really do much praxis#also this one is probably my most developed character. he’s not even the ‘main one’ sol is supposed to be that#but since he’s the obligatory poor little meow meow character i’ve just latched onto him like a squid latches onto its prey#speaking of cephalopods he had a girlfriend named rosa alice wetton who tried to kill him twice#and the first time was when they FIRST MET#but he was still like ‘hello never did quite catch your name haha’ when they meet a second time. and then he dates her.#and unsurprisingly she attempts to drown him. (in the human version she stabs him)#and she knew that even if he survived and was asked about what happened that he would take the blame and not mention her because she knows#he firstly loves her too much to do that and secondly will take the blame because he believes it’s his fault anyway#after all he willingly went into that relationship#anyway what a tangent i could talk about johann for hours#anthro cat#furry#my art#my posts#oc info#hard soup
