It's Halloween Time, You Know What That Means: My Obligatory MBAV Post!
So this is actually gonna be an outline for a fanfic I had an idea for a few years ago. I would work on it on and off, but I never had the motivation to fully write it out. I did however write out an outline of how I would do season 1 of the fic, so here it goes. I might still write this at sometime in the future, but I doubt it. Enjoy!
So this fic was going to be Benny x OC where the OC is Cali. Cali is secretly Calliope: the Greek muse of writing. She wanted to learn more about human and supernatural relations for a story, so she moved to Whitechapel. Also the episodes aren't in proper order because I was going off of Netflix and what made sense in my head.
Season 1 Outline
Lawn of the Dead - Cali moves to Whitechapel on the same day that the demonic animals start attacking. She bounds with Rory over writing fanfiction, and she meets the rest of the gang through him. Cali starts off hiding her true nature from the fang gang and vice versa.
Three Cheers for Evil - Cali would have been roped into the spying on the cheerleaders plot and magicked into a Stephanie's drone. Honestly might have skipped this one because the episode itself would not have changed much. At some point she runs into Grandma Weir and Grandma senses something off about her.
Friday Night Frights - Cali can see the ghost coach and remembers how he used to mistreat the nerd of Whitechapel. She misses out on the wrestling match because she is meets up with Hades in the Underworld and convinces him to unleash the Gym Locker of the Nigh.
Blue Moon - Rory and Cali find themselves hanging out more and feeling rejected by the rest of the group. Cali because she still isn't in on the vampire secret and Rory because of the whole werewolf thing. Rory accidentally lets slip that he is a vampire, and after the Werewolf!Ethan situation, the whole group. Cali does not reveal herself yet because she's worried that it will spoil her research.
Blood Drive - Cali is helping Sarah deal with cravings. When they go after the vampire nurses, the gang wants to leave Cali behind because she is "human", but that is short lived after she kicks the vampire nurses butts.
Doug the Vampire Hunter - Cali is starting to feel guilty about not telling her friends what she really is. She plans to tell them, but those plans are put on hold when Doug shows up in town. After he goes on the hunt for Sarah, she comes up with the LARPing plan and uses her powers to make it more believable.
Guys and Dolls - Cali is actively trying to tell her friends the truth, but everytime she tries to seems like something else comes up. When the doll comes to life, it drains Cali of some of her lifeforce and makes a comment about being stronger. Afterwards, the group confronts her and she tells them the truth.
Double Negative - Cali is getting used not having to hide her muse abilities in front of the group. When Evil!Benny comes around, he tries to persuade Cali to run away with him. She considers for a moment (before she realizes that it's an evil doppleganger) but is unsure why.
Smells Like Trouble - Cali walks into school is a horrible cold. The body that she came down in is prone to mortal needs and weaknesses like disease and hunger if she is on Earth long enough. Her nose is so clogged that she can't smell anything, so she is not affected by the love potion. She starts feeling jealous about all the attention Benny is now getting, but is not willing to admit it to herself yet. She goes over to Grandma Weir's house for a cold remedy, and they have a heart to heart. When she finds out that Benny made a love potion, she blows up and separates herself from the group.
Die Pod - Cali is still ignoring Benny. She puts in her earbuds to listen to music and becomes the girl infected by the plant. Most of the chapter is in Benny's perspective while he, Ethan, and Sarah work to save Cali. Afterword, Benny and Cali have a long talk and are back to being friends.
The Brewed - Cali, Benny, and Ethan are fighting against the zombies. Cali gets bit instead of Benny. She doesn't mention it because she assumes that she can't be zombified due to her being a Muse. She doesn't realize she's wrong until she's too late. As she's turning, she uses her last breaths to kiss Benny. The kiss slowly turns into a bite as her transformation completes. Afterward, Cali insists that she only did it because she thought she was dying and that they should just be friends.
Three Geeks and a Demon - Tensions are high between Benny and Cali as every time Benny tries to bring up the kiss, Cali shuts it down. When he suggests the seance, they get into an argument, and Cali leaves. Cali finds herself hanging with Erica for the night. Erica doesn't get Cali's crush on Benny, but she suggests Cali give a shot just to stop all her moping.
Jesse's Girl - With the dance coming up, Benny and Cali decide to try going to the dance together. They're plans are interrupted by Jesse coming back. During the fight, Cali gives Jesse a run for his money, but she isn't fast enough to stop Ethan from getting bit. The season ends with Cali and Benny deciding to try being an actual couple.
I didn't fully outline season 2, but there was going to be a throughline of the longer that Cali was on Earth, the more mortal she would become. After the Hottie Ho-Tep episode, she would go back to Olympus to recharge only to make a dramatic re-entrance at the talent show with her sisters to take down Serena. The end of season 2 was going to have Cali defeat Stern and the Lucifractor but have her lose her immortality in the process.
I hope you enjoyed! If enough people like this idea I might do drabbles or one-shots in this world here or there, but I probably won't do a full story. I'm working on three WIPs already as it is.

13 Bliss with Serica p l e a se
Bliss 13. “Your eyes are so pretty.”
[Takes place right after Mirror/rorriM]
They were tired and more than a little disappointed that their first school play had gone terribly wrong because yet another paranormal creature ruined their day. Honestly, Erica seemed more upset about it than Sarah was which was a little strange since she usually didn’t care that much about most things. Despite Erica’s sour mood Sarah followed her home like usual. In the same way Benny would almost always be found at the Morgan household, Sarah spent more time in Erica’s bedroom than her own. To be fair Erica’s parents were never home and paid little attention to anything outside of their work.
“It was nice to have reflection again,” Erica laments with a sigh and leans against Sarah. “Even for just a little bit.”
“Is that what’s been bothering you?” Sarah asks with a small smile, teasing but relieved it hadn’t been something more serious. Very few things got under Erica’s skin but it wasn’t a surprise it was something that involved her looks.
Erica hides her face in the crook of Sarah’s neck and she knows the blonde is pouting as she nods her head. “I mean, I think it’s unfair that I get super hot at the same time I can’t even show up in a picture. I know you think that’s vein but yeah it’s been bumming me out...”
There’s a pause because Sarah can’t lie that she feels similar.
Walking by a mirror and having no clue what you look like is sometimes annoying and sometimes a little scary. No way of telling how she’s changed or if she could change. Maybe as a vampire they couldn’t physically age but they still matured, was that visible? Did nothing change no matter how much she tried? Did she look different in certain clothes? She didn’t care if it was vein, Sarah missed being able to see herself in the mirror trying on a new outfit and think she looked good.
“Remember when there were coffee zombies around town?” Sarah asks suddenly and the question surprises both of them, she hadn’t realized she was saying anything until Erica answers back.
“Oh yeah, I was fully ready to blame Benny for that before Rory told me what happened. But what does that have to do with not having a reflection?” Erica replied, her voice a little tired and aloof.
Sarah bit her bottom lip, embarrassed by what she wanted to say. “Before everything went to shit I met this guy and he drew a picture of me and it was the first time I saw myself since I got turned. It was…. Really nice to get a recent look at myself. It’s not selfish for wanting to see yourself after so much time, you’ve changed a lot and I’m glad you got a glimpse of that even if you were possessed by the ghost of a theatre kid during most of it.”
It feels cheesy to say and Sarah doesn’t mind being open about her feelings, especially around her best friend, but Erica tended to be more closed off.
“Ugh, you’re right, she was a theatre kid….” Erica says and her voice trials off slightly. “But I guess you’re right, I’m glad I got to see myself even if it might be for the last time.”
Erica shifts a little in her spot on the bed, moving to wrap her arms around Sarah and keep hiding her face between hair and skin. She can smell strawberry shampoo and vanilla perfume and the sweetness of it made Erica’s head spin in the best way. Sarah smelled like a flower shop or somewhere homey and it’s comforting to the blonde teenager who needed the sense of familiarity. Everything had changed and Erica argued for the better, but maybe that was because she got to be the one thing she’s dreamed of being while still having her best friend in arms reach.
Neither of them moved, not wanting to create a gap between them; even if vampires didn’t have body heat there was a different kind of warmth that they shared and it made Sarah subtly blush.
“Is it silly that I still have a compact in my purse?” She added, mouth slightly pressed against Erica’s blonde hair and Sarah can’t help but absentmindedly run her fingers through it. “It has an old I.D. photo taped to the inside.”
“I would say that’s more depressing than it is silly, but I can’t blame you.” The sound of Erica’s voice came out muffled as she spoke into the small of Sarah’s neck, cool breath nearly making her shiver. There were few things that made Sarah Fox too hesitant to speak or move, Erica Jones pressing feather light kisses on her skin was on top of the list of those things. “You’re lucky you were hot before you got turned into a vampire. Double hotness. I was only hot afterwards.”
“Erica,” Sarah faltered. “You’ve always been this beautiful.”
There’s a bitter, hollow laugh that falls tiredly from the blonde vampire’s lips and it was heartbreaking to hear. Erica stops kissing Sarah’s jawline and sits up to look at her best friend, knees pulled close to her chest and hair falling over parts of her face.
“You’ve always been the pretty friend, Star.” It comes out like a statement in that low tone of voice Erica used to be serious. The use of the childhood nickname only made the knot in Sarah’s stomach tighter.
“That isn’t true. I’ve always thought you were the coolest person, you’ve never cared what anyone thought and you never hid what you liked and-”
“I cared, Sarah. I cared so much that it felt like I was drowning! I hid behind what I liked.” Blonde hair hides trembling lips and Erica tightened her first so much that the knuckles went white. “You know, I was jealous of you at one point. I couldn’t tell if I wanted to kiss you or be you, but I’ve figured it out.” Her voice trails for a second as she pauses to recollect all her feelings and lets out a quick exhale, relaxing her shoulders and turning to look at her best friend.
Sarah stared back in a soft look of concern and unease, not knowing if she should reach out and physically comfort the other girl. It was rare Erica let out any deep emotions and she didn’t want to do anything to mess up the moment.
“So which is it?”
Erica grins because she couldn’t keep a serious face for longer than a minute and leans towards Sarah, noses inches away. “I wanted to kiss you. It’s always been that way. I wanted to be good enough for you and when I thought I wasn’t I tried to ignore how much I wanted you.”
She’s looking down at Sarah’s lips and bites her own nervously, they’ve never outright said how they felt for one another but over the past year they got closer, touchier and overall hadn’t needed to use words and label whatever they were. But kissing, actually kissing hadn’t been something they tried yet despite both of them desperately wanting to.
“Erica, you’ve always been enough.” It comes out sad and a little rushed as the gap between their mouths close, unsure who had been the one to lean in completely first.
Sarah tastes as sweet as she smells and Erica gets a little dizzy over the way that her best friend kisses. Good girl Sarah who always does the right thing and who’s only ever dated one person before, was taking the lead and the use of tongue came as a welcomed surprise. Erica cups Sarah’s face and brushes her thumb softly against her cheek.
The bedroom is silent outside of the sound of small, low giggles and hums and it’s surreal to finally do this after so many years of silent pining. It gets harder to kiss when they can’t help but smile and Erica pulls away, eyes lidded over and chest so full of affection that it feels suffocating. Vampires don’t need air but Erica choices to believe that being undead isn’t what caused her to be so breathless. There’s a strong feeling that burns and tears through her, a raising heat that makes her think after all this time, after that happened to them, they get to have this and it’s so, so good. It’s better than anything out of her Dusk books and she’s thankful that vampires can live so long because she wants to enjoy this for the rest of time.
Sarah carefully pushes a tuff of stray hair behind Erica’s ear and grins at the way she sees Erica blush. The look on her face is soft, which was rare because Erica Jones didn’t do ‘soft’ but the way she looked now... Sarah thinks about every sappy poem she’s ever read and understands what those writers had been feeling. She couldn’t stop herself from falling deeper into a sense of fondness.
“You’re eyes are so pretty.” Sarah says and it comes out like a whisper, a prayer towards something divine. A silk promise made from tender warmth and devotion. “You’ve always been so pretty, you’ve always been more than enough.”
A year ago Erica might have cried hearing those words, and maybe she still wants to but stops herself. Her cheeks turn to a faded pink and she places a hand behind Sarah’s neck and pulls them back into another kiss, and it’s another silent agreement. A wordless ‘thank you’ or ‘I know that now’.
There are many things that go unspoken between them, but they don’t need words; not when they’re this close, moving a slow rhythm and enjoying the type of vulnerability that is terrifying to share with anyone else. It’s never terrifying when it’s her, Erica thinks. Talking about her feelings never felt she was being cut open when it was with the one person she trusted with her undead life.
Sarah runs her fingers through Erica’s hair and it’s another unspoken comfort between them, one that makes their chest flutter and everything feels like it was at a stand still. There’s a moment of pause and Sarah silently decides that if this what eternity would be like then she wasn’t scared of what came next, not when the one person she wants to spend the rest of forever with is just in arms reach.

Top 25 Doctor Who episodes
They are in chronological order, from season 1 (2005) to season 11 (2018), not of preference, two parters are counted as one episode. (edit: I had forgotten about “Midnight, so there are 26 now instead of 25, ops?)
★ S01E06 "Dalek" this episode really made me love the 9th doctor, Christopher performance was fantastic, I wish they had given him more time on the show so that we could have seen more of that rage.
★ S01E09-10 "The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances", this will be no surprise to anyone because it's a fan favourite of almost everyone, but that's because it's such a well written episode, creepy and intriguing, original and with a beautiful and heartwarming ending. That "For once everybody lives" always makes me tear up a bit.
★S01E12-13 "Bad Wolf/The Parting of Ways", RTD has always had beautiful endings and this surely is one, emotional and beautiful, but also funny at times. The final part where Rose looked into the TARDIS and her interactions with the Daleks was badass as fuck, and her interaction with the Doctor was beautiful. And let's not talk about "You were fantastic. Absolutely fantastic. And you know what? So was I!"
★ S02E08-09 "The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit", this is such an underrated episode but a brilliant one. It's scary and it always keeps you on your toes because you don't know what's going to happen. I didn't appreciate it enough the first time I saw, only when I rewatched it I realized how good it was.
★S02E12-13 "Army of Ghosts/Doomsday", of course this is going to be on the list, Rose was my first companion and seeing her go was a devastating experience that I can't forget. I remember seeing this episode for the first time and crying like a baby just during the initial monologue "[...] But then came the Army of Ghosts. Then came Torchwood and the war. That's when it all ended. This is the story of how I died." Still crying over this. And let's not talk about the wall scene. You know which one.
★S03E01 "Smith and Jones", when I first watched season 3 I didn't appreciate it enough because I was mourning Rose's departure and couldn't get over it, however, when I rewatched it, I finally was able to appreciate this season because it's a really good season. I know this episode is an odd choice, not a lot of people talk about this specific episode, but I think it's a really good episode, really enjoyable, but not too heavy, and Martha in this episode is absolutely brilliant, we can see just how smart and brave and smart and smart she really is.
★ S03E08-09 "Human Nature/The Family of Blood", this is another really popular and loved episode by the fandom, and again, there is a really good reason. This episode it's fun but also emotional, it's really original and super intriguing. And of course we can't forget to mention the "fury of a time lord", that scene where he punishes the family of blood is just perfect. Loved it.
★ S03E12-13 "The sound of Drums/Last of the time lords", as I said, RTD finales are absolutely brilliant, and this, like the others, is brilliant too. It shows what a complete badass Martha is, traveling the world all alone because she is a woman on a mission. I didn't really like how the doctor got back to normal, but let's not think about it too much. My favourite scene ever, that gave me the chills is when Martha finds out what's inside those robots, it still gives me chills every time I see that scene.
★S04e08-09 "Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead", again, this is a really predictable episode, but it is a beautiful two parter. The villain is brilliant and super scary, the whole concept of the episode is brilliant and it's executed perfectly, and we are also introduced to River, for whom we are sad when she dies the first time we see it but it's so much better when you rewatch the episode after having watched all the other episodes with her, including The husband of River Song, which take place right after this episode.
★ S04E10 "Midnight" do I even have to explain why this episode, which is loved by everyone, is in this list? I don't think so.
★ S04E11 "Turn Left", this episode is criminally underrated. I LOVE this episode with all of my heart. When people talk about Blink, they praise it because it was brilliant even tho the doctor wasn't even in it, well this is brilliant and the doctor isn't in it. This episode is so devastating to watch trough the eyes of a human, the devastation and pain that is caused by the fact that the doctor is not there to save earth is just, you know, devastating. I don't know how to explain how much I love this episode.
★ S04E12-13 "The stolen earth/Journey's end" another beautiful finale from RDT. Not only because it's a beautiful episode but also because we got EVERYONE in this episode, Rose, Jack, Martha, Sarah Jane, Donna, Micky, Jakie literally everyone was there, and it was just beautiful to finally see again some old friends.
★ S05E01 "The Eleventh Hour" this was a perfect introduction to the new doctor, we needed something strong that could make us like him after loosing Tennant, someone that everyone loved, and this episode did it. Matt did and incredible job in this episode, which introduces to Amy and Rory, the crack in time and space and the new doctor. I loved the episode and 11 speech was just phenomenal, really made me like him instantly.
★ S05E02 "The beast below", I guess this can be considered an odd choice, because I never hear anyone talk about this specific episode, but I loved it, it was fun and it also showed us a bit more about the doctor, how he is, what's his moral compass like, how he acts and reacts to things, and also we learned more about Amy. The plot was really interesting and cool, at time a bit creepy but also really sad because of what happened to that whale-thing.
★S05E04-05 "The time of angels/Flesh and stone", I actually have no clue of how people feel about this episode, but I personally really loved them, we got the angels, the crack in time and space, cool moments with River, Amy and the doctor, it was exciting and it was cool, but also a bit emotional at times.
★S05E12-13 "The Pandorica Opens/The Big Bang" Moffat showed us that he could make a good finale too. I really loved this finale, it's so exciting and it ties a lot of ends together, which is always cool to see it happen. The Pandorica speech is one of my favourite moments ever and also we got Rory back. Really awesome ending that didn't leave you underwhelmed and it was completely satisfying.
★ S06E01-02 "The Impossible Astronaut/Day of the Moon" is one, if not the best opener ever. It just keeps you hooked and excited, not only for these two episodes, but for the whole season. The episode literally starts with the death of the doctor, and then it introduced a new and cool villain that is the Silence.
★S06E04 "The doctor's wife" is one of the best episodes ever, it has a cool and we'll executed concept, it's really emotional but also cool as hell? And it also has one of my favourite quotes ever "Fear me I've killed hundreds of time lords" "Fear me, I've killed all of them".
★ S06E07 "A Good Man Goes To War" is just PERFECT, the plot twist were brilliant, they left me speechless, I cry and laughed and I just loved the episode. Bonus points because in this episode Rory was a complete badass. It has my favourite doctor who quote of all times
"Demons run when a good man goes to war
Night will fall and drown the sun
When a good man goes to war
Friendship dies and true love lies
Night will fall and the dark will rise
When a good man goes to war
Demons run, but count the cost
The battle's won, but the child is lost"
★ S06E08 "Let's Kill Hitler", from what I saw people don't really love this episode, but I absolutely did love it and this is my list, so here it is.
★S06E10 "The Girl Who Waited" this episode was really devastating but so so beautiful, this is another fan favourite, at least it was before, I haven't heard a lot people talk about it recently. But again, there is a good reason if it is so loved.
★ S06E11 "The God Complex" surprisingly I haven't seen anyone ever talk about this episode even though it absolutely brilliant and spectacular. It's not a really heavy episode, but heavy enough. It's also a bit of a strange episode, but not in a bad way.
★ The day of the doctor/The time of the doctor
★ S08E05 "Time Heist" this is not a really popular episode and I saw a lot of people say that they didn't like it, however I did, probably because I'm a slut for heist movies and this episode combined two things that I love, Doctor Who and Heist Movies.
★ S08E08 "Mummy on the Orient Express", this episode really blew me out of the way, it was just brilliant. I don't even know what to say, it just was.
★ S09E11 "Heaven Sent" (I know I said that two parters would count as one episode but I HATED Hell Bent, I'm not going to get into why or it'll take to long) This episode was probably one the best doctor who episodes ever , the acting was phenomenal, Capaldi is just great, and the plot and dialogue and monologue and plot twist and everything. Even if you don't like doctor who this is episode is great. It has my favourite quote:
"As you come into this world, something else is also born.
You begin your life, and it begins a journey towards you. It moves slowly, but it never stops.
Wherever you go, whatever path you take, it will follow me. Never faster, never slower, always coming.
You will run. It will walk.
You will rest. It will not
One day, you will linger in the same place too long. You will sit too still or sleep too deep, and when, too late, you raise to go, you will notice a second shadow next to yours. Your life will then be over."
★ S10E11 "World Enough And Time" (In this case I did like episode 12 but it wasn't good enough to make it into the list) This episode left me speechless, I really wasn't expecting this episode to be that good. Absolutely loved this episode, it was brilliant.
