- but also it’s the specific short styles they gave them look like they were done with electric clippers. Like Finrod has a goddamn fade, I cannot.

I look at them and cannot imagine those hairstyles being created in universe, with non-electric tools.

Like I know elves’ bodies and psyches are more in tune with each other, but I don’t think that applies to their hair growing in exactly the style they want and staying there.

Do you know why elves have long hair? Because ten years is like a blink for an elf, imagine the upkeep on short hair over the course of MILLENNIA.

Guys...GUYS this is gonna be a mess and full of superlatives because I think Partings might be my fave episode so far. It was magnificent magical awe inspiring heartaching foreboding funny and overwhelming. I literally don't know where to start I loved it all from the harfoots and seeing more of the stranger to Arondir trying to cling on to the hope and goodness and Elrond DONT GET ME STARTED 😭😭He and Durin continue to be the duo I never knew I needed I love them and the way this mithril business went down was so angsty but sweet but also I'm worried haha and lol at the door I knew he was lying 😂They're adorable and I love them and need them protected always hahaha 😭Numenor was so beautiful I literally wanna cry Isildur is owning my heart even though we all know what goes down and Celebrimbor is precious (no pun intended lol) and I adored the scenes with Gil Galad and Elrond so powerful. Dialogue characters action humour all note perfect. I can't guys I'm just back in the magic of Middle Earth. I haven't forgotten any of your gif requests ;) but will be making stuff from this beautiful ep. It honestly felt like watching a movie and I'm so excited for the next stage of the journey. This is all I ever wanted from this show and it's delivering in every aspect.
