One baby just wants to take their time, while the other is growing impatient- that’s just his luck.

He should’ve known those cramps weren’t normal, he should’ve guessed with his size. Yet, he kept himself in denial yearning for just a few more miles. It felt that every time he begged, another cramp would squeeze its way around his dome of a belly.

Every quarter he would gaze down to see his belly lurching, his presumed babies growing claustrophobic with each tightening. However he chose to keep going. It wasn’t until dusk that he finally got off of his horse, just for a water break- he swore on it. Then they’d keep going.

Just his luck, his body had other plans- another cramp brought him into a squat, the only thing holding him up was his grip on the reigns. Trying his best to breathe through it, he couldn’t ignore the sudden splash against the ground. As well as how his pants were soaked from it.

Fuck.. This sure was a water break.
