Part 2
Part 3
It surprises you every time you come back to the Hard Deck how it hasn’t changed. At least the atmosphere. Civilians and aviators alike. Penny grins at you when you walk in. Elbowing your way through the crowd, you take a seat at the bar, leaning far enough over to let her kiss you on the cheek. Her and your mom had been best friends. Penny’s known you since you were in diapers, helped your mom through the divorce, and helped you when she passed away. You always did your best to come visit her when you could. You’re on leave for the next two months and you aren’t wasting it anywhere else but here.
“Long time no see.” Penny says as she grabs you a drink.
You only grin. “You’ll be seeing so much of me, you’ll be sick of me.”
“Is free labor included in that?”
“Always.” A two toned whistle catches your attention. Turning to look behind you, you sigh at the sight. Holy shit. They’re all here. Your eyes narrow at the blonde, his grin widening when he catches you staring. “Maybe not tonight, Pen.”
Penny shakes her head. “I didn’t think so. Go on, then.”
Throwing her a grateful smile, you’re up and heading towards the pool table. It’s a reunion, no doubt. You’d been overseas the last few months. Seeing everyone here is a blessing. You can’t help the splitting grin on your face when Bob wraps you up right in his arms. How the two of you hit it off, you’ll never know, but you aren’t complaining.
“Look who it is, folks. Our Sunny girl. Did ya’ll see it get brighter in here when she walked in?”
Your eyes roll so far into the back of your head you’re surprised they don’t get stuck. Turning, you come face to face with the blonde who’d called for your attention.
“Hangman,”
He pulls the toothpick out of his mouth and winks. “Sunshine.”
“What’s got y’all here?”
“You.” Phoenix answers, standing from where she knocked two solids in at the pool table.
You turn to look back at the bar. Penny’s already looking at you with a smirk. What a little sneak. You should’ve known she let you go too easily. Shaking your head you step forward and snag the pool stick from Hangman. He smirks, but doesn’t say anything. You quirk an eyebrow. Lieutenant Jake Seresin keeping his mouth shut? It’s a goddamn miracle. His eyes never leave you as the game finishes. Phoenix grumbles at her loss, you were three shots behind when you started. It’s not your fault that you’re good, that you’re very good. Handing the stick off to Bob, your eyes scan the bar. It’s been almost thirty minutes since you got here. It’s a Saturday night and the bar is busy.
No Hawaiian shirt in sight. No porn mustache spotted anywhere. Your shoulders deflate. If everyone else is here, why isn’t he?
“Who you looking for, Sunshine?”
You glance sideways. “Wouldn’t like to know.”
Jake only grins. “Your bird boy ain’t here yet. Had a meeting with Maverick, I believe.”
Fucking Christ. Are you really that hopeless when it comes to him? So exposed that even Bagman can tell that your head over heels for Rooster? It’s not like it’s your fault. If you had it your way, you’d be happy with your own company. But the heart wants what the heart wants.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“Oh, I think you do. Because as much as you pine for him, Bradshaw is a dumbass.”
“What do you mean?”
“He hasn’t noticed, Sunny. You’re still that kid from down the road. You need to do something to make him see you.”
The thought has crossed your mind. You’ve known Bradley so long that he probably didn’t think of you that way. Your teeth bite into your cheek, hands fiddling with the hem of your dress. You don’t miss the way Hangman’s eyes take you in. His gaze lingering on your bare thighs. You huff out a small laugh, pulling his attention back to your face.
You and Jake have a weird relationship. He annoys you to no end but you trust him with your life. Pretty sure you’re the only one in the bar that does. Jake’s been protective of you since you met at Top Gun. A relationship without the relationship, you suppose.
“Can always stir the pot,”
You blink. “What?”
“Make him jealous, Sunny.” A snort escapes you and you slap a hand over your mouth. Jake’s smile is wide, his head falling back with a deep chuckle. “Oh, Sunny girl.”
“I have no one to make him jealous. Even if I did, that’s a stupid idea. What am I, in eighth grade?”
“Honey, look at who you’re talking to.”
Green eyes devour you when you look up at him. He is right. No one gets under Rooster’s skin more than Hangman. You bite your lip, unsure. You shouldn’t. You really, really shouldn’t. But there’s a fire in Hangman’s eyes, like he’s got a point to prove. Playing with the hem of your dress, you scrape the toe of your shoe against the floor. Fuck it, really, what do you have to lose?
“What are we going to do, exactly?”
Jake raises his hand, cupping the side of your face. His thumb lightly drags over your bottom lip before pulling it down. He pulls it away and looks down at the faintly smeared mauve color now on the pad. He lifts it up to his mouth and rubs it in.
“What are you doing?”
His lips tilt into a knowing smirk. “Teasin’.”
He’s going to get you in trouble. Lifting a hand to your own mouth, it’s smacked lightly. Sharp eyes glare at him.
“Go pick out a song. Let’s dance.”
“Dance?”
“Yeah, Sunshine, dance. Now go, and pick out a good one.”
You roll your eyes but do as you're told. Eyes follow you the whole way to the jukebox. You lean over, just a bit, the bottom of your dress rising up to tease. Was that why you wore it? Maybe. You wouldn’t tell. Flipping through the songs, you pause a few pages back, a knowing smile taking over your face. Putting the money in, you twirl back to face Jake. When the song starts playing he laughs.
“Honey, you are playing dirty.”
“You started it.”
“Well, you do have your boots on.” He says toeing your Ariats.
“Come on, Texas. Show me how to boogie.”
“You are asking for trouble.”
An eyebrow raises. “Pot, meet kettle.”
Jake doesn’t say anything else. His hand grabs for yours, his arm wrapping around your waist and pulling you tightly to him. You can’t help but gasp when his thigh slots between yours. Tightening your grip on his shoulder, he twirls you both out and makes room to have a dance floor. The other patrons cheer while watching. A few cat calls thrown your way. A carefree laugh makes its way from you. It’s been a long time since you’ve felt this way. It’s silly, really. To think that teasing a grown ass man made you feel this way.
“Just a heads up, Sunny girl, Bradshaw’s been watching since you went to pick out the song.” Your heart drops. What now? You go to turn your head, to try to find him, anything, really, but are stopped short. Jake slides his hand into your hair keeping you still. “Stop. You’re going to ruin it. I can see his fucking vein bulging from here.”
This is a good thing, right? This is what you wanted? His attention? Jake knows what he’s doing. He’s never led you astray before. Hopefully he won't start now. Jake lets you go, hanging you out with one hand before twirling you around. You’re facing away from him now, and you come face to face with Rooster. You inhale sharply, the smell of him overwhelming you.
“What’s going on here?” He asks, no preamble.
“We’re dancing, I know you have eyes, Bradshaw.”
Bradley looks from Hangman down at you. Head to toe his eyes blaze over you. A fire touching your skin. Licking at the top of your exposed breasts and down your thighs. You can see his lips twitch. The man knows you. His hand reaches out, pinches the fabric of the dress, rolling it between his fingers. It’s his favorite color, and by the look in his eyes you know he knows you wore it just for him.
“Hey Sunshine.”
“Hi Rooster.”
“Couldn’t wait for me, huh?”
You frown. Opening your mouth to talk, you’re promptly cut off. “What the fuck is that supposed to mean?”
Rooster shrugs. You follow after him to the table where all your friends are. Most of them try their hardest to look as if they aren’t watching this scene play out like a movie. You jump up to sit on the table, grabbing your drink and taking a sip. You hand Hangman his beer, his glare still on the man beside you. Neither of them say anything for a long time. They just stare, having a silent conversation that you don’t know how to decipher.
“Didn’t know you had a thing for Bagman, Sunshine.” Rooster finally says.
You snort, ignoring Jake’s smirk. “He wishes.”
“That why your lipstick is on his mouth?”
“Who’s mouth should it be on? Wouldn’t want it to go to waste.” Jesus Christ, he’s trying to get you into fucking trouble. Widened eyes look at Jake, his face more stoic than you’ve ever seen it.
“What does that mean?”
Hangman huffs, taking a pull from his beer. “All I’m saying Bradshaw, is that you’ve got a hell of a woman hanging off every word you say. Waiting on you to finally do something. So, you better fuck her before I do.”
Did he know you could hear him? You’re sitting like two feet away. Neither of the men back were backing down and it’s making your anxiety spike. They’ve always been at each other's throats. You’re not sure when their little feud became about you.
“Did she say that?”
“Say what?”
“Did Sunshine say that she wanted you to fuck her?”
There was no hiding the smugness in Bradley’s tone. Hook, line, and sinker. A muscle twitches in Jake’s jaw from how hard he’s clenching his teeth. Suddenly, he glances over at you and you know you must look like a deer caught in headlights. He sighs but it doesn’t sound like one of defeat. More like he’s losing his patience.
He steps towards you, thumb trailing over your bottom lip. “If it doesn't work out with him, Sunny. You know where to find me.”
Hangman turns without looking at either of you again and makes for the jukebox. Your lips quirk up when you recognize the song.
***
The sound of the door closing is your only warning. Hazel eyes meet yours in the mirror as you roll your neck. Your body relaxes when you feel him press up against your back. He’s so warm it sends chills running down your spine. The bathroom isn’t all that big. Bradley stands behind you, invading your space and swallowing it whole. There is nowhere to go, nowhere to hide. It’s easy to see that Hangman’s words have gotten under your skin. Your heart thunders in your chest at what’s going to happen next. A small prayer is sent off that Penny never finds out.
“You look good, flower.”
You smile at the nickname. “Thanks. It’s always fun when you can dress up in civvy clothes.”
He huffs. “The dress is really something,”
You grin at him through the mirror and you see Adam’s apple bob, hazel eyes fixated on your lips. You swallow, your throat thick. Tearing your gaze from his, you smooth your hands down the soft material, fingers playing with the hem of it. You took a chance with it, and you’re grateful it’s working out in your favor.
The tension is thick and heady. It clings to your skin, his callouses catch on your skin, gluing themselves to you. The music from the jukebox beats against the bathroom door, it’s the only thing accompanied by your heavy breathing. Your eyes shut when his hand pulls your hair to rest over one shoulder. A light yank of your hair has them snapping open. You meet his eyes in the mirror. One eyebrow quirks up at you. With a shaky breath you nod. Bradley leans in, lips lightly brushing against the expanse of your neck. His gaze rests on the soft spot right next to where it connects to your shoulder. You tilt your neck not only to give him more access, but permission too. Your lips tilt at the groan he lets out before his lips are on you.
Slowly his hands pull your sleeves down your arms. Goosebumps rise on your exposed skin. It makes you feel a little vulnerable. But then Bradley pushes himself even closer. He’s got his Hawaiian shirt on, jeans, and his boots. You can feel him breathing, his chest warming your back. It’s when he pushes his hips against you—you can feel him. All of him. A whimper escapes you and you see him grin in the mirror.
A hand trails down your side while the other moves to your chest. Your head falls back when a nipple is taken between his calloused fingers. You’ve only dreamt of what his hands would feel like. Your imagination didn’t do him justice. The heat coming from him is intoxicating. You’ve been so caught up in him that you haven’t realized a hand has been slipping down, down down. Fingers toiling with your dress, pushing the skirt up slowly. A hum rumbles from him when his fingers finally find your core, slipping between your folds. You’re completely soaked. You’ve been this way since he appeared right in front of you. Your breath locks in your throat when he slips a digit in.
“Christ,” he mutters, voice thick like honey. “No panties, flower?”
You whine, you can’t help it. You push your hips back into him, arching your back. His voice, the accusation in his tone. You knew what you were doing when you left your house. Maybe he’d come home with you, fucking you good and proper in your bed. Not pressed up against the sink of the Hard Deck. Bradley pulls his finger out only to push it back in with another. He does this, warming up your body, until you’re moaning, your own hand wrapped around his wrist and guiding him. You can’t stop your hips from grounding down on his hand. Desire has taken over. Bradley has left your nipple, hand now wrapped around your throat, holding you hostage to watch yourself in the mirror. He grunts when you clench around his fingers. You’re close, so close.
“Bradley,” you whine, fingers digging into his arm.
“I know, flower. You want it real bad, don’t you? Let me feel it. Let me feel you gush all over my hand sweet girl. Would you like that?”
You’re going to come off his words alone. A moan falling from your lips as the pressure tightens. It’s only moments later when the band snaps, hot liquid flooding throughout your body. Your head falls back against his chest, another moan filling the small space.
“That’s it, that’s my girl.”
You can feel him moving behind you. The distinct clinking of his belt being undone. Your whole body grows hotter in anticipation. Searing heat hits you, a hand stroking himself while the other is spreading you open. Heat pulses between your legs. There’s no doubt that he’ll split you wide open. After what you just pulled with Jake, you’d be surprised if he was forgiving at all. It’s a little fucked up, but it warms your belly all the same. Lifting your head, you gasp when his eyes meet yours. Bradley’s pupils are blown, lust and primal desire have taken over. His lips pink and full, he bends down and kisses right between your shoulder blades. Traveling up your spine, over your shoulder, he digs his teeth in where it meets your neck. You don’t miss his smirk when you moan.
He slides a hand across your ass, slapping you just hard enough to leave a red handprint behind as he thrust deep, bottoming out. A hand clamps down around your mouth, muffling the scream trying to break free. He’s big, so fucking big. He’s filling you up like never before. It hurts, a pain that you will never get enough of. Your knuckles turn white with each rough, lazy thrust. Bradley slides a hand along your spine, up the back of your neck and into your hair, your breath catches as he pulls your head up and you’re meeting his gaze in the mirror. He’s watching you come undone around him. Each stroke pulling more and more pleasure. Your cheeks are flushed, pupils blown with lust, and lips parted as each of your clipped breaths turn into whimpers.
“Flower,” he grits, hand tightening in your hair, “you feel so fucking good.”
You stare back at him, feet spreading wider to let as much of him in as you can. His teeth dig into your skin again, this time leaving bruises behind. It makes you whine. Little secrets that litter your skin. He thrusts harder, rougher until your hand is pressed against the mirror just to keep you balanced. He’s fully claiming you. Cock punching into the deepest part of you. Neither of you are too worried about the sounds escaping you now.
“Bradley, I–” you're cut off by a whimper when he reaches that spongy spot deep inside you. Over and over again, you feel it approaching, your orgasm is going to come crashing down and you’re ready to bask in it. Your face lifts up, like a sunflower searching for the sun.
“Flower? Are you going to come for me again? Are you going to let me feel you come around my cock?”
“Yes! Yes, I–Rooster, fuck,”
You come on his cock like a tidal wave, and when you collapse against the counter, your body trembles, heaving desperately for air. Bradley groans, pulling you up until you’re flush against him. His lips meet yours in a messy kiss, bucking his hips harder until he’s chasing his high right over the ledge with you.
“Good girl,” he praises, wiping the sweat off the back of your neck. “Good fuckin’ girl. That’s my good girl.”
The jukebox is still blaring when you exit the bathroom. Slowly you make your way back to where your friends are. Ignoring all of their knowing stares you reach for your drink and down it. When Bradley finally makes his appearance beside you, a possessive arm thrown over your shoulders and a quick kiss to the crown of your head. Hangman’s watching the both of you, a knowing look in his eye.
“So, Bradshaw, how was she?”

Or will it make her realise that this rivalry between them is childish?
warnings - swearing, enemies to lovers, mention of serious injury, traumatic episodes, reader traumatised from what happened, smut, slowburn, seizures, flashbacks
a/n - hi girlies! sorry that i haven't been posting a lot i got writers block 💀💀💀 anyways, enjoy!! xx
I've finally come back to Top Gun, Mav caught me up luckily. Somehow he pulled some strings with Cyclone to let me stay here. I'm glad me and Mav sorted everything out. I still haven't spoken to my mum yet... It's been 3 weeks since she visited me at the hospital.
It's been kinda quiet since me and Bradshaw decided to stop the whole "rivalry" thing. Minus for the arguments between Bradshaw and Bagman. It's been nice in all honesty. Except for when Bradshaw tried to throw a right hook at Bagman. Fanboy stopped him before he could make contact. It didn't end too badly. They just death stared each other then walked separate ways.
Bradshaw was late to the briefing this morning so the only chair left was next to me. Great, although we're civil, I hate having to deal with his fucking manspreading. It's so annoying.
Bradshaw walked up to the table I was at and sat down. I was shocked to feel that his leg wasn't rammed against mine. I looked down and saw that he had stretched his legs out and crossed his ankles. I quickly give him a look then begin to focus on the briefing.
"Shocked to see how little of an annoyance I can be when we're not arguing?" I rolled my eyes with a smirk as I tried to focus on the briefing. "Everyone's going to the Hard Deck tonight, you wanna join?" I turned to look at Bradshaw, my eyes narrowing, smirk still apparent on my face.
"Bradley Bradshaw, is inviting little old me to drink with you and the others?" I place my hand on my chest. Bradshaw is the one to roll his eyes now. "I'd love to. As long as you don't sing Great Balls of Fire."
"Now that is pushing it sweetheart. there must be a compromise we can come to." he has desperation in his voice, with a little bit of humour.
"You can sing it once then. No girl on your lap or at your side cause that is just fucking tacky." I chuckle as I try to multi-task and listen to what Mav is saying. I'm partly failing.
"Is that your way of saying you're jealous? I'm flattered sweetheart, but British isn't my type. Neither is hot-headed." His tone was all but flirtatious. Maybe I should've just continued to argue with him, because the flirty tone he's using is grating. Like, it sounds nice but really weird at the same time because he's never used that tone with me.
"Absolutely not, never. Just because we're civil now does not mean I'm going to have feelings for you. And girls sitting on your lap or basically grinding against you while you sing Great Balls of Fire is the cringiest and most disturbing thing to even look at for a second. So no, I am not jealous. And FYI I don't go for your type either." I cross my arms as I finish the conversation and bring all my focus back onto Mav, who keeps sending me knowing glances which I send away with eye rolls.
------------------------------------
Today was stressful. Very stressful. Stressful enough to need a straight double whiskey when I get to the Hard Deck. You wanna know why today was stressful?
Firstly, I was paired with Hangman. Which is annoying as it is but he thought he led the whole thing when it was a team building exercise. And he kept ordering me which got us "killed" by Mav.
Second, my flight suit had a stain on it so I had to try and get it washed after the training exercise. It didn't come out, so I'm going to order a new one.
Third, Bradshaw could not stop with the flirty comments. It was so aggravating. I wish we were still arguing cause he was actually less annoying than this.
And lastly, Mav kept pulling me to the side and asking if me and Bradshaw were a thing. Oh my days! Absolutely not! Never in a million fucking years would I date Bradshaw of all people! I'd date Hangman before Bradshaw. Actually no. I would not. I have too much self respect.
When I got home, I took a hot shower. It was fucking amazing after the day I've had. After I got out of the shower, I dried my hair, did my skincare routine, put some makeup on, and now it's time to decide what to wear. It was between a nice dress Phoenix told me to wear or my tight black shirt with some nice-fitting jeans. I asked Phoenix and she told me to wear the dress, obviously. But only if she wore one too. Not being the only one wearing a dress.
It was a short black dress with criss-crossing straps and a slit on the right leg that goes up to my hip. It was really nice, I've just haven't gotten to wearing it yet.
I quickly put the dress on because I was running late. I grabbed my purse, car keys and vape before going out and locking the door.
The ride to the Hard Deck wasn't too long because I could afford a closer one when I moved here. I parked my car, locked it, then headed to the door of the Hard Deck. Phoenix was outside waiting for me.
When I tell you the whole bar went quiet when they saw me and Phoenix, it would be an understatement. Maybe it was because we were in civvy clothes? But we headed to our group and all the boys eyes were wider than golf balls.
"What's with the eyes? It's not like we're naked is it?" I said, eyes darting between all the lads. They were shocked.
"Y/N, I think it's cause you're wearing that short dress, they've never seen as much skin on you before." Phoenix giggled before dragging me to the bar.
"Hey Penny, two double whiskeys please." Phoenix asks Penny with a smile. As I look around, I see a man. He's tall, blonde hair, greenish-blue eyes, and he's staring at me. I recognise him from somewhere. It's Thomas! I didn't think he'd be here tonight. He said he was going to go home in England for a bit to see his family.
"Thomas?! I thought you went back to England for a few weeks! What yer doing 'ere?" I walked up to him and hugged him, shocked that he was in San Diego but especially in the bar I usually go to.
"Thought yer could use some company, but guess you're already set aren't yer?" He chuckled as he looked to Phoenix then in a different direction, all the lads were death staring Thomas.
"Yeah, guess so. Want a drink? Me and Phoenix just ordered double whiskies." I guided him over to the bar where me and Phoenix originally stood.
"Go on then, one can't hurt." He ordered himself a double whiskey and paid for mine and Phoenix's as well.
--------------------------------------
We've been at the Hard Deck for a few hours and I'm quite drunk, drunk enough to not be able to drive. Which is great, cause I want to go home.
Phoenix and I have been dancing to The Weeknd, Mac Demarco, ABBA, Jerry Lee Lewis (because Bradshaw sang it, yet again), and some other singers that I'm too drunk to remember.
Me and Phoenix are currently dancing to Great Balls of Fire, as per requested to play again by Bradshaw. Him and that fucking song. It's like he's married to it. Or he can't breathe if it's not playing.
As we're dancing, I feel someone come up behind me. I turned to see who it was and it was just a stranger. He had his hands on my hips and began to basically grind into my arse. the fuck?
"Erm, can you not do that mate?" I stepped away from him, closer to Phoenix. He had this strange look on his face. It made me really uncomfortable.
"Come on babe, just wanna dance with you." His smile was sloppy and sadistic in a way. Gave me the shivers. Not the good kind.
"Well I don't wanna dance with you. So fuck off. Freak." I rolled my eyes then turned to Phoenix with an awkward smile.
"Don't call me a fucking freak you bitch!" He grabbed my arm and yanked me closer to him, his breath stunk of cigarettes and Bourbon. I always hated that smell.
"Get the fuck off of me you prick!" I grabbed his elbow and dug into it with my fingers which made his grip loosen, then I kicked the back of his knee which got him to the floor.
"Touch me again and we will have a serious problem, got it?" He nodded in answer, fear and anger in his face. "Get the fuck out of this bar." He got up and walked straight out, the whole bar giving him death stares as he leaves.
As soon as the door closes Bob comes over to us, weaving through the crowd with a worried look on his face.
"You okay Y/C/S?" He looked at me with worry and sympathy. I nodded my head yes.
"I'm fine Bob, he was just a prick who should listen to people. Taught him a lesson, hopefully he'll learn from that." I rolled my eyes as I took a sip of my whiskey. "Surprised I can still do that, I'm fucking leathered." I chuckle as I begin to dance again.
Bob nodded with a small smile then went back to the others. Me and Phoenix continued dancing until she had to go home cause her friend said her dog needed to be taken to the vet. So I was left to hang out with the lads.
"Hey Y/C/S, you alright? You look really bad." I place my hand on my heart and mock offense.
"Wow Bagman, I cannot believe you could say that. To me of all people. I look fucking fabulous you rat." I giggle as Bradshaw laughs. He'd laugh at anything that insulted Hangman so I'm not surprised.
"Seriously though Y/L/N, you look unwell. How much have you had to drink?" Bradshaw had genuine concern in his voice. I also did not know how much I drank.
"Fuck knows, wanted to have a fun time. I was, till Nat had to go home cause her dog is sick. I really hope her dog's okay. Do you think it'll die?" Just as I finished my sentence, Thomas came next to me and placed his hand on my waist.
"Come on Y/N, let's get you home." He began to lead me out until I felt his hand go lower. Last time I checked, he had a fucking girlfriend.
"One, I ain't going home right now. And two, get your hand off my arse cause I specifically remember you have a fucking girlfriend." i poked his chest in annoyance because his girlfriend is super nice, and pretty. Like drop dead gorgeous. And she treats him so fucking well as well.
"Yes you are going home, yer leathered. And she doesn't have to know if anything happens, can just be between you and me babe." That's it. Absolutely not. Not a fucking cat in hells chance.
"Right, you are a piece of shit for that. i ain't going home and I'm moving out. And I'm telling your fucking girlfriend how much of a shit person you are." Thomas laughed, I knew he could be a dick sometimes but this is just too far.
"Come on Y/N. Firstly, where would you even move to? You don't make enough money for even a small shitty apartment. And second, she won't believe you." Shit, she wouldn't. She's literally head over heels in love with him.
"She will." A voice said behind me, I turned to see that it was Bradshaw. I furrowed my brows in confusion.
"And why's that? She's practically wrapped around my little finger." My face contorts to disgust. Jesus, how did it take me this long to realise he is a complete and utter twat?
"Because in Y/N's bag, is my phone, and it's recording. So she will believe Y/N, because there's proof." All the colour drains from Thomas' face.
"So you best fucking leave now. And I'm getting all my shit in the morning." I look at him with anger an disgust, how could he even think about doing that to such a caring and beautiful girl?
Thomas walked out immediately, slammed the door to the bar on his way out. That's when realisation hit me, I'm now homeless.
"Shit... where am I gonna stay? He is right that I can't afford to live anywhere... Maybe Mav could let me stay with him?" I turn to Bradshaw and he looks like he's just got an idea.
"You can stay with me, until you get enough money for an apartment." Although I was very drunk, that sobered me up quite a lot. Bradshaw was offering to let me stay at his place? I mean, we are civil now, but letting me stay at his home? Jesus, he must really mean it about feeling bad about arguing and the crash.
"Are you sure? Because that's a big thing to offer Bradshaw." I looked at him, unsure myself. But why was Bradshaw offering this? Was it out of guilt? Sympathy?
"Yes. You don't have anywhere to stay. Fanboy only has one room and his couch is fucking uncomfortable. Coyote and Hangman most likely don't want to live with you. Payback lives with his girlfriend. And Bob and Phoenix live with Phoenix's mom. And Mav will probably hate you living with him because he won't be able to have any alone time with the ladies he brings home. So I'm the only viable option." Damn. He must have put lot into this for him to just come up with all that.
“Are you 100% sure that you want to do this? Cause I can just find some place to live I don’t wanna intrude init.” I look at him with concern and uncertainty in my voice.
"Yes of course, helping out a friend, init." He faked a British accent as he said "init", I giggled at him as he pulled a face as well.
"Right okay, thank you so much you don't know how much this means to me..." I have a thankful look on my face. "Please could u come with me to pick my stuff up tomorrow? I don't want to go on my own." He nodded yes. "Thank you..."
"Right, let's get you home. You're so fucking drunk." He chuckled as he guided me out of the Hard Deck with his arm round my shoulder.
--------------------------------------------
As we got to his house, I began to search the outside. It was quite nice.
We both went inside, Bradshaw helped me as I was stumbling everywhere. He guided me to the spare room and placed me on the bed.
"Goodnight sweetheart." Bradshaw muttered as he got to the door.
"Goodnight Bradshawwwww." I said before quite literally passing out as my head hit the pillow.

Taking a deep breath you basked into Bradley’s warmth as one of his hands played with one of yours. Your relationship has always been this easy since you two started learning about each other, but in the past few months things seemed a lot more uncomplicated than before.
After discovering that the guy that has been hovering over your head like a dark cloud was one of Bradley’s friends and after your much needed confrontation with Jake, things between you and Bradley started to flow effortlessly.
It was so easy to be around him, to love him, and you thanked Mary for actually convincing you that all you needed was this—-an easy love.
“You’re thinking too much,” he mumbled against your neck, where his head was tucked.
You laughed at the ticklish sensation of his mustache on your skin.
“Am not.”
“Yes you are.” He said, propping himself up on an elbow to look at you, his other hand still playing with yours.
“Okay, so I am.” You smiled at him, making him roll his eyes. “What are you gonna do about that?”
“I can always distract you.” He says, lifting your joined hands to place a kiss at the back of yours. The difference in size was noticeable, your smaller hand engulfed by his.
“Then distract me.” You said, delighted by the smile on his face.
“With pleasure.”

What did he see in her?
It wasn’t the first time that thought had crossed your mind, and it surely wouldn’t be the last.
Her hair was down, and her outfit casual—light-colored jeans with a loose-fitting t-shirt front tucked. Sunglasses shading her eyes, she sipped coffee and scrolled her phone while she waited for him. After what seemed like an eternity, he joined her.
Through narrowed eyes, you watched as she stood to greet him and they embraced. She threw her arms around his neck, getting on her tiptoes, while his arms slung low on her waist.
You and Natasha met a handful of times. Bradley insisted he and Nat were friends and nothing more. Of course, you didn’t believe Bradley for a second. Every touch, every hug, every late night phone call said otherwise.
They were so natural together. Like birds singing as the morning sun rose or crickets crooning in the twilight.
No wonder Bradley thought it couldn’t work with you. How could he when there was five-foot-seven worth of gorgeous grin and glowing skin staring at him over a coffee cup?
She had to go.
Sinking lower in the driver’s seat of your vehicle, you watched as they got up together. After disposing of their cups, Bradley walked Natasha to her SUV, which you knew was parked around the corner. As they disappeared, you punched the ignition button and pulled out of your curbside spot across the street.
“Catch you later tonight?” Natasha asked as she slid into the driver’s seat.
“Absolutely.” Bradley rasped, holding the door open. They grinned at each other as he closed it. As she pulled away, and they exchanged waves through the window.
Bradley waited on the street, hands in his jean pockets and watched until her tail lights illuminated at a stop sign before she drove through the intersection. Then, he walked a few spaces up to his Bronco and hopped in.
This morning, when you tailed Natasha, her day was rather uneventful. You waited until you spotted her sleek SUV rolling out of the private garage of her condo building. Shifting into drive, you followed as she first stopped at the post office. Once she came back out, Natasha took a call while she sat in the vehicle, shuffling around, looking for something she eventually found.
Next, she stopped for gas and went inside to get a shitty gas station latte. Seemed to be a routine indulgence for her. After that, she spent what seemed like an eternity in the grocery store. Once all her groceries were loaded into her vehicle, Natasha headed back to her condo that was tucked in a mid-sized building on the downtown main drag.
You’d found the building plans in the public records and knew which unit was hers. Although the building wasn’t that large, it was well-secured. In contrast, Bradley’s bungalow had a much lower security threshold. Plus, you were familiar with the layout.
Since you’d followed Natasha this morning, and would bet your next month’s salary that she and Bradley were meeting at the Hard Deck tonight, you decided to see what Bradley was up to this afternoon.
Leisurely, you drove to Bradley’s, taking an elongated route. As you turned onto Bradley’s street, you killed the music, glided by his house, confirmed his Bronco was parked in the driveway and continued on to the street parallel to his. You parked in the spot that gave you the perfect view of his backyard and into his house through a couple curtainless windows.
There he was. Shirtless. Floating around, bopping his head to the music surely streaming through the living room sound system. Watching through your camera lens, you snapped a few images.
As you captured photos, you recalled the couple times you’d witness him and Natasha twirling around, dancing. Faces lit with laughter as he spun her around, and then dipped her for the finale.
Bradley never did that with you.
The burn of jealousy you felt quickly washed away as your lens zeroed in on Bradley’s broad back. Your thoughts drifted to touching Bradley—every dimple, every tendon, every scar.
Of course, the few months you and Bradley spent together weren’t sexless. For you, it was some of the best sex of your life, and Bradley seemed to have no complaints. A matter of fact, each moan or toe curl you were able to pull from Bradley seemed like a badge of honor.
Thinking about Bradley laying underneath you as your hand steadied yourself on his sculpted chest had you sighing deeply. You could practically feel his hip bones cradling your thighs as you rode him and his hands curving around your hips.
The memory of his thumb drawing tight circles on your clit had you sinking into your seat, squeezing your eyes closed and heat gathering in your lap. Replays of your sexcapades continued to flood your mind, filling your dam. You needed a release. Soon, your jeans were unzipped and your legs as wide as the car seat would allow.
Your lip disappeared between your teeth as you slipped your middle and ring fingers into yourself, slicking them to then paint your swollen clit so you could attempt to recreate even a fraction of the pleasure Bradley had given you several times over.
Envisioning Bradley’s large hand palming your chest, and then sliding up to cover your throat, had you gripping the door handle with your free hand as your pace quickened. The heat in your belly was building to boil, the pot lid close to skittering off.
Bradley’s face as he finished—the furrow of his brow, twitch of his mustache—flashed through your mind and pushed you across the finish line. A sigh only for you left your lips as you let your release wash over you, dissipating the tension. Pulling yourself back together, you continued watching Bradley through the back windows.
On his days off, he always hit the gym late in the afternoon. You attributed it to keeping his daily shower count to one. Because, undoubtedly, Bradley would come home post-workout to get ready for the Hard Deck.
While Bradley was at the gym, you were going to the hair appointment you’d scheduled a few weeks ago. A smile pulled your lips as you perfectly parallel parked across the street from the salon. Marc, your stylist, was there to greet you with open arms and an Americano.
Like all trusted stylists, Marc knew all about your life, including Bradley. He knew all about Bradley’s longtime friend who had had her chance to shoot her shot with him. However, she hesitated too long, and now you were in the picture. But that didn’t stop her from crossing boundaries even though you asked her to stop.
Tonight, you were going to end it once and for all.
After an afternoon in Marc’s hands, you were practically a new person. A cute sundress would compliment your makeover perfectly. Back home, you twirled in front of the full-length mirror in your bedroom, deciding which dress was best. Eventually, you decided on the knee-length one with flutter sleeves and a deep V-neck.
Tonight was a night that your inability to be anywhere in a timely fashion paid off. By the time you reached the Hard Deck, the parking lot was fairly full, allowing you to park toward the back of the lot undetected. With one final look in the rearview mirror, you slid out of the driver’s seat and headed for the front door.
Bradley’s Bronco was unmistakable, proudly parked as close to the entrance as possible. A few spaces down was Natasha’s luxury SUV.
The bar was crowded, so you easily disappeared into the sea of civilians and servicepeople. Head on a swivel, still waiting for Natasha or Bradley in your peripheral, you causally wound through the crowd, venturing around the venue.
There he was. The floral print Aloha shirt wrapping his broad shoulders gave him away. Natasha stood tucked into his side, his arm draped over her shoulders. You recognized many of the faces they were laughing with from photos.
With them in your sight, you headed to the bar to find a spot with a view but that also kept you in the crowd. The woman behind the bar didn’t recognize you as you ordered. One of the few times you’d been here with Bradley, he had introduced you to the bartender, who also owned the establishment.
Drink in hand, you slipped into a seat that had conveniently opened up. Bradley and Natasha bantered with each other, with their friends and shittalked while facing each other in a game of pool.
“Hey.” The greeting bore a hint of southern drawl. You turned to see one of their friends, the good looking blond, dragging his gaze over you. You coolly returned his greeting and took a sip of your drink.
The man had no clue who you were. Not that you couldn’t blame him. He’d met you once and had seen you maybe two or three times total. Plus, with your drastic cut and color, you might as well be a complete stranger.
He made small talk while he waited for a fresh round of drinks. As he departed, he invited you to stop by the group. Upon his departure, you gave him an open-ended response and a wink.
It amazed you how few boundaries Bradley and Natasha had with each other. As the night wore on, you watched each touch grow more intimate. At one point, Bradley had his arm wrapped around Natasha’s hips with his hand in her front pocket. It was a move he had put on you while you two walked to keep you close.
You watched as each drink made them a little looser, a little flirtier. At one point, you watched Natasha play wingman for every man in their group—except Bradley.
At last call, the crowd began to thin. You finished your drink, cashed out and slunk to your vehicle. Hand on the door and a glance over your shoulder, you slipped into the backseat. Sitting behind the passenger seat gave you a better view of the building. To the unassuming eye, your vehicle was one of several destined to spend the night in the lot.
Before Bradley and Natasha spilled out of the Hard Deck, you watched the blond from earlier climb into a black F-150 Raptor. You were surprised to see him alone. Must be all talk. A few more familiar faces filtered out.
Finally, they shuffled out with another friend. The friend you were convinced was pining for Natasha but was too shy to do anything about it. He and Bradley chatted while Natasha clung to Bradley’s side. She clearly was not driving tonight. They parted ways, the shy friend going to his vehicle, and Bradley putting Natasha in the passenger seat of the Bronco before getting in.
First, Shy Friend eased out of the parking lot. Then, Bradley backed out and headed for the exit. A smile pulled your lips as he turned left, signaling he was taking her home with him.
This time you drove straight to the spot on the street parallel to Bradley’s that had the perfect sightline into his house. From there, you watched as he carried Natasha through the hall, disappearing in the direction of his bedroom. Eventually, the lights died and a stillness fell upon the house.
Quiet as possible, you slipped out of your vehicle. As you walked, you slipped on leather gloves you’d had for ages but never had a reason to wear. Knowing the family living in the house directly behind Bradley’s was away on vacation, you took the most direct route to his house. Under the cover of the thick trees and sparse streetlights, you snuck down their side yard and into the back.
You easily scaled the standard chain-link fence that conjoined their yards. Thankfully, Bradley kept his yard tidy. Looking at his grill and the outdoor dining set made you think of the few times he’d grilled for you. Surely Natasha was reaping that benefit tenfold now.
Standing in front of his backdoor, you gingerly grasped the handle and twisted the knob. It gave you zero resistance as the door floated open. Bradley would absolutely be locking his back door after this. Making sure the hinges didn’t betray you, you took your time stepping across the threshold and closing yourself in.
Enveloped in a new level of darkness, you stood for a minute, allowing your eyes to adjust. Slowly, you began to see the familiar lines of the counter and the silhouettes of appliances.
You wanted to touch everything but knew to touch nothing. Your ears were on alert, listening for the slightest disturbance. So far, the only thing you could hear was Bradley’s deep breathing that, arguably, was a light snore. However, it didn’t sound like it was coming from his room.
Curiosity piqued, you glided toward the living room. Bingo. Splayed on the oversized, for his comfort, couch was Bradley. He was in a deep slumber. You admired him. Lips barely open, but enough to produce his audible breathing. Curls mussed and resting on his bulging bicep that acted as an extra pillow. The man ran hot, so the blanket he started his slumber with was now tangled at his feet, leaving his form clad only in drawstring gym shorts.
As you watched him, the streetlight in front of his house gave the living room a bit more light, his chest rose and fell. Your mind wandered to why he was on the couch and not in his bed with Natasha. You didn’t think too hard about it, though. It made your task easier.
Releasing you had your fists balled at your sides, you unclenched them as you turned to head for the bedroom. The door was ajar, just the slightest. Using the back of two gloved fingers, you slowly pushed it open.
Natasha was nestled under the fluffy bedding in the center of Bradley’s huge bed, sleeping soundly. Your eyes stayed glued to her as you crept into the room and put the door back the way you found it. Staying to the edge of the room, you calculated your plan of attack. Watching her sleep with a neutral expression, seemingly relaxed, you thought you might be beginning to understand why Bradley was so taken with her.
Gaze never leaving Natasha, you approached the edge of the bed. She didn’t stir. Removing a glove, you gingerly leaned onto the bed, knee first. Eyes still glued to Natasha for any sign of movement. Eventually, you were leaning over her, face-to-face, really studying her.
Unable to help yourself, you ran your thumb along her full bottom lip. She was soft, angelic—maybe that’s why Bradley liked her so much. Your face was so close to hers—you really wanted to know what her lips would feel like against yours. Add evidence to the case for why Bradley liked her so much.
While you thought about Natasha’s lips, keeping your gaze on your face, you managed to mount her without disturbance. The amount of down bedding between the two of you was a huge aide in minimizing the movement ripples.
You looked at her one last time as you took one of the pillows her head wasn’t resting on and held it in front of your chest. “Sweet dreams,” you said barely above a whisper as you leaned forward to cover her face with it.
Your grip was light until you felt her tensing. She was waking, trying to free her arms that were bracketed by your legs and trapped underneath the blankets. Her screams were muffled. “Shh, I’ll take great care of him.” Your closed eyes as you hugged her head with the pillow. Natasha was fighting less and less.
“What the fuck?!” you heard from behind you. At the same time, you heard the door bang against the wall. You looked over your shoulder to see Bradley charging toward you. Before you could move, his hand was around your neck, ripping you off the bed. Natasha scrambled to the edge of the bed furthest away from you. Bradley was there, arms open, waiting to embrace her.
Sheer size allowed him to throw you against the dresser a few feet away from the bed. You heard a thud and felt a sharp pain in the back of your head as you hit the heirloom dresser. Your eyes were having a hard time focusing as you slid to the floor. Involuntarily, your hand moved to the back of your head where the pain seared most. As your hand re-entered your field of vision, you could see your blood on your fingertips.
Bradley’s voice sounded distant. Question in his voice as he said your name. However, you looked up to see him kneeling in front of you. Your vision was slightly blurry. “You’ve gone too far this time.” Of course, Bradley still recognized you—some hair dye and a drastic cut wouldn’t fade your face from his memory.
“What the hell are you doing?” His voice pulled you out of your mind and back into the room.
Natasha bound into the doorway, wearing one of Bradley’s t-shirts. He must’ve dressed her before he put her to bed. They exchanged looks before her gaze dropped to you on the floor. She quickly turned and disappeared.
“Let’s go.” Bradley gruffly grabbed your bicep. He gave you no time to get to your feet. Instead, three quarters of your body dragged along the floor as he pulled you to the kitchen. When he let you go, you slumped to the floor, your forearms stopping your face from hitting the tile. You were still lightheaded with fuzzy vision as you pressed yourself up on your palms.
“Bradley…” You slowly moved into a cross-legged sitting position.
“Don’t.” He cut you off. Bradley squared his body to you, arms across his chest. “There’s no coming back from this.” Bradley was pissed.
You shook your head. “No, no.” Panic set in. “Don’t blame me!” you squeaked. Tears were beginning to well as you tried to get to your feet.
“Stay on the floor,” he commanded. His look was deadly. Tears rolled down your cheeks.
He sighed and ran his hands over his face. Bradley should’ve seen this coming. You were insane. The letters, showing up at his home unannounced, somehow frequenting the same places he did at the same. However, it never crossed his mind that you would try to murder someone, let alone his best friend.
While you reasoned with Bradley, Natasha was standing next to the couch, arms wrapped around herself, staring toward the kitchen. Eyes dilated from shock. She kept forgetting to breathe. When her body finally remembered, the sharp inhale would jolt her back to reality. She could hear Bradley’s voice but was not comprehending his words. The tones of your voice were grating her nerves, causing her arms to constrict tighter around her.
Out of the corner of her eye she saw the front door slowly open. Iced to her spot beside the couch, she watched fingers curl around the edge while the barrel of a standard-issue pistol poked inside. Holding the gun was a plain-clothes police officer. “Jay.” Relief washed through Natasha as she identified the face holding the weapon.
“Hey, Nat.” Jay mouthed and flashed a reassuring smile. Quickly, he pressed his free pointer finger to his lips. A curt nod from Natasha let him know she understood his command, and then she watched as he stalked toward the kitchen.
A friend of Bradley’s, Jay was supposed to meet them at the Hard Deck earlier but had to cancel due to work. Of course, Natasha’s heart sank a little when she heard, but the text message from him promising to make it up to her eased the discomfort.
Jay huddled in the kitchen doorway shadows, waiting for his partner to reach the backdoor. Natasha had briefed him on the situation when she called, so they plotted their entry on the drive over. Familiar with Bradley’s house, Jay knew the entry points, so your odds of escaping were minimal.
Back to the door, you didn’t see a face appear in the corner of the window. Bradley noticed but did not acknowledge in a way that made you aware. Not that it mattered—your vision was hazed between your head injury and the tears. Plus, you were occupied mumbling apologies to Bradley.
Everything happened all at once. The backdoor sprang open, someone jumped on top of you, and a man you had seen a few times stepped out of the shadows, pointing a gun at you. Bradley had fallen back and was standing with Natasha in his arms at the living room-kitchen threshold.
Your mind was numb as the officers cuffed you and read your Miranda rights. The last thing you remembered was falling to your knees in the driveway and yelling for Bradley to forgive you. Standing in the doorway, he looked you dead in the eyes and closed the door.

Faking It | Part I
Bradley "Rooster" Bradshaw x F!Reader
Summary: Fake dating your friend, Bradley Bradshaw - what could possibly go wrong? Your sister is getting married and you need a date. You enlist Bradley's help and the rest is history.
CW: none that I can think of except that the reader's height is described as shorter than Rooster's.
This idea has been plaguing me so I had to get it out haha Hope y'all enjoy!
Bradley watches you skeptically. You have yet to convince him that pretending to be your date for your sister’s wedding is an outstanding idea. Your mother has undoubtedly invited a whole slew of bachelors because she thinks you might need some help in the romance department. You decidedly do not. Despite the fact that you are struggling to even get a fake date.
You make a face at him. “I will owe you,” you say. “Anything you want.”
He shrugs. “I don’t want anything.”
You roll your eyes. “C’mon, Bradshaw,” you plead. “I’ll do your laundry for a week.”
He purses his lips, not looking overly enticed.
“I’ll come over once a day and do all your dishes.”
“We’ve got Hangman for that.”
“Hangman does your dishes?” you ask incredulously, trying to picture Jake Seresin in an apron with a dishtowel thrown over his shoulder.
Bradley chuckles. “He lost a bet last week.”
You let out a soft laugh, then get back to business. “I’ll clean your room,” you offer.
“I’ll have you know that my room is immaculate,” Bradley replies.
You scoff. “Then do this for me out of the goodness of your heart!”
Bradley chuckles slightly. “I don’t know, Y/N. This is a big ask.”
“Please, my mother is rounding up all the eligible males on the western seaboard as we speak.”
Bradley laughs. “What does your mother have against landlocked states?”
“I don’t know. Political ideology?”
Bradley snorts. “Have you asked Hangman?”
You groan. “Please don’t make me ask Hangman. He will never let me live this down.”
Bradley nods. “That is true.”
“It’s just a weekend. A few photos here and there. Some superficial chitchat with my grandparents about the importance of educational funding for our nation’s youth. My niece loves airplanes so you can tell her all about your latest mission” –
“My classified mission?”
“Well, leave out the classified parts,” you retort impatiently.
Bradley contemplates your proposal while your mind scrambles trying to determine something that might make it worth his while.
“Free drinks for a week,” you say, wiping the already dry bar to give your free hand something to do.
Bradley raises his eyebrows. “You can’t do that.”
You roll your eyes. Bradley Bradshaw will never go along with a scheme unless it is one hundred percent above board. “Meaning I will pay for them. I get a discount on the alcohol.”
Bradley gives you an amused look. “So, you wish to buy my services.”
You let out a frustrated groan. “I told you, I will do anything you want.”
“Well, I don’t want you paying my tab,” he replies casually.
You lean into the bar with a heavy sigh, bringing your face closer to his. “You are really grinding my gears, Bradshaw,” you say.
His eyes lift to your face as he lets out a wry chuckle.
“Do you really think a weekend with me will be so torturous?” you ask.
“Nah,” he says, leaning back in his stool nonchalantly, but you wonder if he does it to expand the space between your faces. “I wasn't actually going to refuse. Just like to see you sweat.”
He chuckles, ducking as you go to smack him with the towel you just used to wipe the bar.
…
“Aunt Barb is a hard-ass,” you say in a low voice, turning your head toward Bradley as your aunt makes a beeline for you at the rehearsal dinner. You end up talking into Bradley’s shoulder because he’s so much taller than you and he instinctively lowers his head so he can hear you better.
“What’s that, shorty?” he mutters, and you roll your eyes at the nickname. But the next moment, you can feel his breath on your forehead and you gulp when his palm flattens against your back. You had been the one who'd asked him to pretend to be your boyfriend, but you hadn’t actually considered what that might entail. Apparently, it entails Bradley Bradshaw’s hand on your lower back and a woozy sensation in your gut akin to a 200-foot roller coaster drop. You aren’t too fond of roller coasters.
You glance up at him and your eyes meet for a split second. Bradley promptly straightens his back. You let out an unsteady sigh and say, “Aunt Barb will be questioning you; be prepared. Have you read my notes?”
Bradley gives you a pointed look. “Of course, I read your notes.”
But as Aunt Barb approaches, you feel Bradley’s touch along your back waver until his hand finally drops at his side.
“Y/N!” your aunt exclaims, giving you a kiss on each cheek. She blinks up at Bradley expectantly.
“This is Bradley,” you say. “This is my aunt, Barb.”
Bradley holds out his hand. “It’s great to meet you,” he says.
Aunt Barb gives him a crafty smile. “Is this your boyfriend, Y/N?” she asks, but her question is directed more at Bradley than at you.
Bradley returns her smile. “That’s me,” he replies, giving you a quick glance.
“Oh, good,” your aunt says. “We were starting to get worried after that whole fiasco with Steven.”
You stare at her as Bradley turns to you. “Who’s Steven?” he asks.
Aunt Barb gives him a probing look. “You don’t know?”
Bradley eyes you inquisitively. “Should I?” he asks, still looking at you.
“Her ex, of course,” Barb continues. “He’s here, you know?”
You peel your gaze away from Bradley to look at your aunt. “What? Why?”
She shrugs. “He’s friends with the groom, of course. Or have you forgotten?”
You grimace. You don’t remember Steven being exceedingly close with your sister’s fiancé, so the fact that he somehow weaseled his way into this function aggravates you greatly.
When your aunt walks away, Bradley turns to you with his eyebrows raised. “Steven wasn’t in your notes.”
You give him a sour look. “He wasn’t supposed to be here.”
Bradley shrugs. “Still think you should’ve mentioned him. Was it serious?”
“Nope,” you respond curtly, ready to put the topic to rest.
Bradley seems to sense your reluctance to engage in this particular conversation and drops the subject. “Shall we go grab some drinks?”
You’re about to respond when your mother appears before you and you nearly bump into her. “Mom!” you exclaim in surprise.
“Y/N, why are you so jumpy?” she asks.
You shoot a nervous glance in Bradley’s direction, but he appears unfazed. “Afternoon, ma’am,” he says, bowing his head slightly.
Your mother looks over at Bradley with a judgemental air. “Are you the aviator?” she asks with a hint of distaste in her tone.
“Indeed,” Bradley responds, giving you a confident look before glancing back at your mother.
But your mother is no longer paying Bradley any attention. She turns back to you. “Steven is here,” she says.
You let out a sigh. “Yes, I know, mother.”
She gives you a knowing look before glancing back at Bradley. “We all thought they were going to get married,” she says with an artificial smile.
Bradley raises his eyebrows and nods his head slowly. “You must be disappointed,” he says.
Your mother seems pleased with his response and nods at Bradley vehemently. “They have a lot of history,” she says.
You close your eyes. “Mom, stop.”
“I’m just saying, he’s here,” your mom says. “Do with that what you will.”
You blink at her. “I will do nothing.”
Bradley watches you squirm sympathetically and, when you glance up at him defeatedly, he takes you by the hand. “Ma’am, it’s been a pleasure,” he says and starts to pull you away. “We just want to hit the bar before the first course.”
“Sure.” Your mom gives him a quick nod and throws a pointed look in your direction.
You cling to Bradley’s hand gratefully, even going as far as clutching at his arm with your other hand just to get away faster. “Thank you, thank you, thank you,” you whimper.
He looks down at you, squeezing your hand. “It’s why I’m here, right?” he says.
“Right,” you agree, feeling his bicep flex under your fingers as his hand tightens around yours.
…
After dinner, you make your way through the crowd to the bathroom. The evening is nearly over and it seems that you and Bradley have put on a reasonably convincing charade. Bradley’s relaxed disposition has made the evening infinitely more enjoyable than you could have imagined and you find yourself feeling almost sorry that the night is coming to an end. Almost. Because, after all, you won’t be able to take a real breath of relief until you’re in the comfort of your room.
You’re lost in your thoughts as you walk back to your table and you completely miss the fact that your ex-boyfriend has spotted you and is heading your way.
“Y/N!” he exclaims as if he’s surprised to see you attending your own sister’s wedding rehearsal.
You blink at him in alarm. “Steven,” you say with a slight grimace, kicking yourself for not checking your surroundings before making your way across the open floor.
Your eyes scan the tables, desperately searching for Bradley. When you locate him, you can see that he’s already watching you.
Steven steps closer to you, holding out his hands. “It’s good to see you, Y/N,” he says, leaning in for a hug.
You recoil as he tries to put his arms around you. “Is it?” you ask, holding up your hand to keep him back. The last time you saw him, he was throwing every insult imaginable in your direction.
Over Steven’s shoulder, you can see Bradley getting out his seat and starting to make his way toward the two of you, a stony expression on his face.
“You look great,” Steven continues, finally lowering his arms.
“Uh, thanks,” you say uneasily just as Bradley steps around Steven to face him.
“Everything alright here?” Bradley asks, his eyes sliding between you and Steven.
“Mm-hm,” you say, instinctively shifting closer to Bradley as Steven continues to scrutinize your every move.
“I’m Bradley,” he introduces himself, confidently extending his hand to Steven.
“Steven.” Steven takes his hand tentatively and you can see the slight wince on his face as Bradley crushes his hand in a handshake.
“I’ve heard a lot about you, Steven,” Bradley says, and you look up at him sharply.
“Oh, really?” Steven lifts his eyebrows, giving you a smirk.
“No,” Bradley replies flatly.
Steven blinks at him in confusion, clearly taken aback.
Bradley slides his arm around your waist possessively and you lean into him slightly, relieved that he’s playing his part so perfectly.
Steven gives Bradley a hostile look which Bradley expertly returns. Then, he lowers his face, saying, “Drink?”
“Yes, please,” you say, letting out a sigh.
“You take care, Steven,” Bradley says, wheeling you around in the direction of the bar.

Masterlist <3
Summary: Y/N Mitchell lives near the base where his father, “Maverick” Mitchell, is training the squad. Unbeknownst to her, she stumbles upon a family’s old friend. Pairing: “Rooster”!Bradshaw x Mitchell!femreader Warnings: Age gap (Rooster is 32 and reader is 25. Yes, I changed his age because my boy is 38 and I love me some dilf but like- no), implications of sex. Lmk if I need to add one! A/N: HERE YOU GO. THIS IS MY CONTRIBUTION FROM ME TO YOU (US) AS A SOCIETY. (I need some smut for hangman tho...)
The bar is hundreds of conversations told in loud voices, all of them competing with the rock and roll music that dominates the atmosphere. The crowd is young, men and women from the top gun detachment's location, particularly. Dad winds his way through the warm bodies to order a drink, placing his phone on the bar. “Hey” I greet, smiling softly in realization, nodding his way “Hey sweetheart,” he answers, subtly scanning the room as I order him a beer. “She’s in the back. Shouldn’t be long until sh-”
“Pete?” there she was.
I had told Penny about his arrival as soon as he let me know, but this was the first time they were meeting. I didn’t feel like interrupting, so I winked in my dad’s way and got up, walking to the back of the bar to the storage section to take one of those fancy beers Penny had ordered but wasn’t serving yet. Those two, not realizing they are in love, is one of my favorite concepts; dad looks at her and his eyes sparkle, so does hers. It’s just a matter of time. Both me and Amelia knew perfectly and had loads of fun betting on what their next move was going to be.
She was a great person who had helped his daughter when she arrived in town a month ago, helping her get familiarized with the people, being someone to talk to in case she felt lonely and having her over for dinner every night; dad had no reasons to reject her.
Suddenly, hard, harmonic steps could be heard approaching and most people on the bar turned their heads to the noise. I could see five men and one woman dressed in uniforms of the United States Navy stepping inside when I peeked my head from the storage door, joking around with each other as they neared the pool table next to the back door of the building. I walked out of the storage room directing myself back to the bar stools, beer opened in hand. Then I heard the bell ringing.
The crowd cheered and thanked my father as if he had just performed some kind of magic trick. The look of confusion on his face was priceless, and I couldn’t help but giggle as I sat beside him once again. “Forgot to tell me there are rules,” he said, sounding somewhat offended but still smiling as he took a sip of his drink. “There’s a sign right there!” I responded, motioning with my hand opened to the small beige square placed in front of us, making him giggle.
We spent minutes chatting, enjoying each other's company and giggling at some drunks’ stupidity. Spending time with dad had seemed like something I hadn’t done in a long time, even though we hung out at home weeks before. We had a great relationship, but I needed independence at some point and moved here. Then he got assigned to teach the team. I teased him non-stop for days, telling him he just couldn’t stay away from his little girl. He knew part of me was right and never did he deny the allegations.
“Give us another round, please,” one pilot said. He had brown, short hair and the most charming smile I had ever seen. His eyes trailed up and down my body, winked once, and told Penny to give me another beer. “Put it all on grandpa’s tap, including what that doll over there orders”. I wasn’t sure if I felt flattered by the compliments or annoyed by that cocky bastard calling dad “grandpa”. I just laughed it off and smiled politely as he turned back to his friends.
“I better get going before this place packs up,” dad sighed, turning up to me. “You coming?” “Nah, I’ll stay here. Wanna take breakfast tomorrow?” “Sure, I’ll pick you up at your place at 7″ He grabbed his jacket and started walking towards the exit. “You’re insane!” I groaned, dropping my face and arms to the wood below them. “My teacher's duty starts tomorrow at 9. I can’t be late, sweetie. Love you,” he said before going. “Love you!” I called out, hoping he’d listen.
“Breakfast at 7 with your old man? You must really love him,” Penny giggled. “Wouldn’t you know?” I smiled, lightly rolling my eyes. “Need help?” “Yeah, actually. Could you bring the Anspach & Hobday boxes from the back? Let me know if they’re too heavy and I’ll ask one of the boys” “Sure” I smiled, tapping my fingers on the surface before standing up.
Making my way into the mass whispering little “excuse me”s and “coming through”s, I opened the door and looked through the labels of the packages. There were two boxes of what Penny asked for laying on the floor, and as I tried to pick them up, I could only move them a few inches without even picking them up; I’d say I dragged them more than anything. I looked around the room for a small loading car, inside cabinets and closets, but found nothing.
I tried once again.
I failed.
As I was about to give up and walk away, the gate to the storage was opened and a tall, blonde stranger stood leaning in the door frame. “Need help?” god, was he hot. His voice sounded a bit grayer than what he appeared to be, green eyes staring at the back of my torso. His body was very well worked and was wearing a Hawaiian red shirt with leaves all over it, biceps framed by the fresh fabric over them. He certainly could carry the packets over to Penny. “Ahh... y-yes, please” He smiled, simply walked over to the cartons and carried them like it was nothing..
It even made me wonder if I was made of some other fragile material that didn’t allow me to carry heavy items around. I walked behind him, seeing how the muscles on his back flexed at the effort he was putting them through. I opened the small door that led to behind the bar for him and waited until he placed them on the floor.
“Thank you...” I extended, trying to get his name “Bradley, or Rooster. You can call me anything you want, sweetness,” he smirked, hands on his hips after we walked back to the big part of the bar. "Thank you Rooster. I-I’m Y/N, by the way,” I said, extending my palm for a handshake. His grip was quite impressive, and we took a bit longer to pull away. “Pretty name like yourself” he winked, and at that point I couldn't've cared less if it was the so called ‘navy charm’ or actual chemistry I could sense between us.
“Can I buy you a drink, Y/N?”
How could you say no to that strikingly gorgeous face? A handsome man's beauty starts from his hearty loving soul and radiates from there to create his final form. There he was. “I’ll take a scotch, Rooster” I smirked, finishing up my beer and leaving it on the counter to follow him to a nearby table for two.
His confidence is an aphrodisiac for sure, for with his eyes and voice, he is in command of himself. Yet it is what he’d do with that strength that could draw me in. It is that there is chivalry in him, that a desire to champion those who need raising up is within you. That's all him.
And so it started.
We talked and talked for hours until the bar closed. He told me between jokes and little flirty approaches, all about how he got his nickname, his career, about how he almost got in a fight before coming to my rescue on the storage with some ass called “Hangman” and a story of when some prick delayed his paper’s entry.
And I told him all about my story too, my relationship with dad, about my job and when I mentioned that I had just moved into town, he offered to take me on a tour of the small things he knew so far. Time seemed to fly and before we knew it, Penny was asking us both to leave, since it was closing time.
“Shit, it’s so late” I laughed quietly, taking a glance at my phone as we both stood outside the bar, dim lights of the street letting us see the dark pebbled road in front of us “I know... but night’s still young, right?” he smiled at me looking stupidly hopeful. I had my experience and if that wasn’t the face of a man who was looking for a hookup with a pretty girl (as myself, of course) I didn’t know shit then.
“And by that, you mean your place or my place?” I giggled, seeing his confident demeanor falter for a second with the faint blush adorning his cheeks that he then covered with a small smirk. “Well... yeah,” he admitted, scratching his nape. “My place. Do you know how to drive?” I finally said, tossing him the keys to my motorcycle and walking towards it “Yeah, let’s go” he laughed contently, following right after me.
The moment he set foot in my apartment, he left no time between closing the door and starting making out with me. His hands were on fire and he proved once more he was indeed very strong when he carried me up to my bedroom. He was rough, fast enough, too. His sex drive, under that American hotrod hood, has the kind of power that roars with the lightest of touch. Yet his ability to stop on a dime is without rival. Power and control with a touch of silk. Whatever is a woman to do about that?
The whole time was filled with smiling and giggling, but growled in my ear seconds after. I couldn’t believe he was the same dork making me beam like crazy at the bar with his dumb puns. Everything was perfect. Especially when he asked if he could spend the night since it was very late and had to wake up early.
And I let him.
Throughout the night, I could feel his arms wrapped around my waist, his soft scent feeling my nostrils when I subconsciously snuggled closer to his naked chest. I swore I could stay there forever, just for the comfort of it. I was used to one-night stands, and this had all the checkpoints of being one, because not one person has had sex on their first meetup/date other than it being a one-night stand.
But I was comfortable. And selfishly, I hoped he woke up late, and we had no other remedy but to cook breakfast together and talk a bit more. Because, and that might’ve been the alcohol talking, I really liked to listen to him. There was a spark between us from the first moment. We connected. And it felt nice. Really nice.
We were woken up by a loud car horn.
Dad.
“Holy fuck” I said, opening my eyes in a heartbeat and sneaking out of Rooster’s grip even faster, startling the living shit out of him in the process. How could I be so stupid? I forgot the breakfast I had arranged with my dad. “What?” he groaned, burying his face deeper in the pillows. “I forgot my dad was coming to pick me up. We’re going to eat breakfast together,” I said, throwing a shirt on. Now his eyes were completely wide open.
“Oh, shit” he mumbled first as if the realization of the situation we were in was taking a little to hit him as he looked for his pants around the room. “Oh shit!” he exclaimed, panicking completely at last. “Y/N!? Sweetheart, are you there!?” a voice was heard from outside. I opened the window and peaked my head outside. “Coming!” I smiled and waved and I wondered how a man could look that pulled together at seven a.m in the morning. Only Maverick could.
“Back door. Now” I ordered, and he nodded, grabbing a few things he had discarded the night before on the way to the door. I directed him swiftly, heart thumping as if I wasn’t a completely functional adult. “L-listen Y/N I-I really don’t want to end things here. I feel like we kind of clicked, and I’d really really want to take you on a formal date if you’d be okay with it, of course, and if you don’t then it’s okay, you know? I’d get it, you’re a very bus-” he ranted on our way to the exit and a bit after he was practically outside already.
“I’d love to, Bradley” I smiled, looking into his eyes and feeling relaxed he felt the same way about our little connection “But I really need you to get the fuck out like, right now” I giggled, he smiled back and delivered a sweet kiss to my cheek “I’ll ask Penny for your number. And I’ll wait until you and your old man are off to make my scape. See you soon, gorgeous.” he winked, closing the door for me.
I sighed like a teenager and hurried outside to meet dad. God knows I fell for Bradley Bradshaw that day.
What Y/N didn’t know, though, was that Rooster was a curious one by nature, and couldn’t help but peek to see how the father of what he thought was the girl of his dreams looked like. He found none other but Pete “Maverick” Mitchell.
And boy did that change shit up.

C & Q for Bradley please?

warnings: gender neutral reader, unprotected sex, cum play, breeding kink, semi-public sex
masterlist
C- Cum
bradley bradshaw loves to cum inside. if he had the choice, he’d cum in you every time you had sex. he loves to fill you up, to feel your tight, hot body milking every last drop out of him.
the first time you let him fuck you without a condom, he lasted about thirty seconds, but he made up for it by cleaning up his mess with his tongue until he was ready to go again.
rooster dabbles in some cum play. he likes to keep you full after he cums, preventing it from leaking out. he’ll cover your hole with his hand, push his fingers inside, or maybe put a toy in you.
on a few occasions, he’s filled you up before going out for the night and put a toy in you to keep his cum inside, acting as a reminder of who you belong to.
along with rooster’s love for cumming inside you is a breeding kink. weather it’s possible or not, he loves the idea of filling you up and claiming you in the realest sense.
if you were having sex and you told him to put a baby in you, you’d be in for the best fuck of your life. he’d go deep and hard, making sure you feel every stroke. he’d be possessive and you’d certainly have some kind of reminder of him in the morning (besides the baby he put in you).
Q- Quickie
if there’s one thing to know about rooster, it’s that he’s a needy boy. if you’re together, you’re the only one he wants. you’re always on his mind, he’s always thinking about you in some capacity, and being the horny young man he is, it’s often times not family friendly.
rooster tends to get lost in his thoughts, especially when he doesn’t have a distraction. he will work himself up with fantasies of you until he’s achingly hard and desperately needing you.
more often than not if you’re in public, rooster will ask you for a quickie because he indulged himself too much. weather you agree or not is a different story.
sometimes you’ll give him what he wants. you’ll have him follow you at a distance to the bathroom in the hard deck and you’ll let him fuck you or do whatever else he wants to get off.
other times, you’ll deny him a quickie, either because you can’t sneak away without getting caught, or sometimes just because you want to see him suffer. good boys know how to wait, after all, and rooster begging to fuck you in public isn’t exactly good behavior.
as a compromise, you’ll let rooster fuck you before going out to hopefully keep him content, but that often backfires because he spends the rest of the night thinking about how good you felt and sounded, and how much he wishes he could have you again that instant.

Endless Love (Bradley "Rooster" Bradshaw) - Chapter 4
summary - Y/N Y/L/N and Bradley Bradshaw have had a rivalry ever since they both attended the same academy. Every chance they took, they always tried to one up each other. One day, Bradley takes the rivalry too far and Y/N ends up in the hospital with serious injuries. Will it make Y/N want to get him back twice as worse? Or will it make her realise that this rivalry between them is childish?
warnings - swearing, enemies to lovers, mention of serious injury, traumatic episodes, reader traumatised from what happened, smut, slowburn, seizures, flashbacks
a/n - hey girliessssssss! sorry that this one is kinda short but what i'm gonna do is just try and post a chapter every day so that u didn't have to wait so long! hope thas okayyyyyy xx
I'm still in the hospital. Which is very convenient. Note the sarcasm. I can't do much all day except go on my phone which got very boring after a bit.
But my friends visit me every now and then. Mostly Mav, Phoenix or my mate, Thomas, who moved with me to San Diego so that I wouldn't be fully alone. But he can't really visit as much because he's an accountant and his boss has made him work a lot of overtime.
Phoenix was currently visiting and telling me all about how Hangman was being a massive dick and him and Rooster nearly got in a fight about Rooster's dad.
"Yeah, he lunged for him! If the guys didn't hold him back Hangman would be waltzing about with the biggest black eye." It made my brows furrows and lift my lip in confusion.
"How did that make him so mad? Like me and Rooster always argue but he's never gotten that angry..." I was really confused, what the fuck did Hangman even say?
"I wasn't really listening to what they were saying, me and Bob were talking, not paying attention because we thought it was a normal argument they have." Wow... Maybe I should talk to Rooster, as if he's going to tell me though, he hates me. Phoenix checked the time on her watch.
"Right, I've gotta go... Training... I'll come back when I'm off duty?" I nod as I bid Phoenix goodbye.
----------------------------------------
I've been on my phone for 4 hours since Phoenix left. I'm now addicted to Candy Crush, Subway Surfers and Episode. I'm in the middle of playing Subway Surfers when I heard a knock at the door. It was Dr. Hunterson. She's always been lovely to me.
"Hi Y/N, there's someone here to see you?" She said it as a question, basically asking me if I wanted to see them or not.
"Send them in, anything to cure this boredom." I chuckle out, Dr. Hunterson laughed as she closed the door. A few seconds later, someone walks through the door. I looked up at them.
It was my mum.
"Y/N! Oh my god! I would've come sooner had someone told me earlier!" She set her bag down on the floor next to the chair she then sat in.
I sat in silence, not even looking up from my phone. I couldn't talk to her, let alone look at her. I continued with Subway Surfers.
"Y/N? Why are you ignoring me? We haven't spoken to each other in 7 months!" She laughed as she spoke. I slammed my phone down on the bed and finally turned to look at her, I glared at her.
"Why the fuck did you lie to me about dad? Why couldn't you have just told me the truth?!" You could practically taste the venom in my tone. I was fucking seething.
My mum didn't utter a word. He mouth opening and closing as if she was trying to say something.
"What? Can't speak?" I was absolutely pissing incensed. Why the fuck would she lie to me for so long?
"I... I... I don't know what you want me to say?" She had a guilty smile on her face.
"I want you to tell me why the absolute fuck you would lie to me saying dad just didn't want to be in my life anymore when he stopped visiting me?! And guess what is the funniest thing? Dad told me himself! Yeah! He told me." Mum had tears streaming down her face.
"When you want to act like an adult, I'll talk to you then..." She grabbed her bag off the floor and left the room.
"Fuck you!" I shouted as she closed the door. When I want to act like an adult. Tsk. Fuck her. I am a fucking adult.
I'm just going to have a bleeding nap, cannot be bothered staying awake right now...
----------------------------------
I was woken up to yet another knock at my door. When I sat up and said come in, I saw Bradshaw.
"Just the person I wanted to see." I say sarcastically as I turn to face away from the door.
"Y/C/S, I just wanna say I am really sorry... I must have accidentally pressed something... I did not mean to take it this far... You may not accept it but I just want to say that I am really really sorry..." I turned to look at him and his face was filled with remorse.
I didn't like this look on Bradshaw. I wasn't used to it. At all. I'm a lot more comfortable with him having anger on his face while looking at me. He seems really guilty... Maybe I should forgive him, I mean... He does seem to actually regret it.
"It's okay Bradshaw... I've made that mistake before... Except... I actually killed the girl..." Bradshaw looked up at me with shock on his face.
"W-what?" He sat down in the chair next to the hospital bed, leaning forward.
"I may as well tell you... Me and this girl, Sox, we were doing a training exercise, but with actual missiles, trying to shoot a target..." I began to tear up. "As soon as I shot the missile at the target, Sox got in the way... Luckily I only shot the wing, but when she pressed the button to eject her seat..." Tears were streaming down my cheeks, I was trying to hold in sobs. "It didn't eject, so all she could do was wait till her jet crashed and hoped she would live. She didn't."
Bradshaw sat there, in shock, mouth agape. His face changed to a sympathetic expression.
"We were best friends, she was the first friend I made after moving here, to San Diego... Her family somehow forgave me, I can't even forgive myself. They said that it wasn't my fault. It was. I'm the reason she's dead. If I hadn't shot that missile, maybe she'd be here at Top Gun, and not me." I was borderline sobbing at this point. My body was shaking. My breath uneven. Eyes dead set on the plant pot in the corner of the room.
"Y/C/S, it is not your fault, you didn't know she was going to fly in front of the missile. You had no intention of hurting her. Don't blame yourself..." I immediately began to shake my head, disagreeing with him.
"No. No. It is my fault Bradshaw. I shot the missile. I am at fault. I killed her... If it wasn't for me, she would be alive. And I'm going to have to live with that. Until the day I die." I couldn't stop the crying now, even if I wanted to. I haven't talked about it since it happened. Not even to my therapist.
"Y/C/S, it's okay... I promise you, it wasn't your fault. From what you've told me it was a training exercise gone wrong... You are not at fault for anything…” His words were filled with reassurance, and coming from him, it actually meant something. Although it didn’t totally get the idea that it was my fault out my head, it put my mind at ease.
I gave Bradshaw a tight lipped smile as my eyes darted between his gaze and my bruised hands.
"About this... rivalry, that we have... Can we just call it quits?" Bradshaw finally spoke up after a while of silence. I looked at him with a smirk.
"What? Finally realised that I'm the best and you're second place?" Bradshaw laughed as he shook his head. He looked back up and has a smiled with his eyes.
"Absolutely not... I am never going to accept that sweetheart..." The nickname made my eyes widen. Sweetheart? He's called me that before but never in the tone he just used. It sounded almost, flirty? I don't know, could be nothing. That is Bradshaw's personality after all.
"Guess it's just really tiring, and..." I gesture to all my cuts and bruises on my body with a laugh. "This... but don't worry Bradshaw... won't hold it against you." I chuckle as Bradshaw leans back in his chair and does the same.
"Truce?" Bradshaw stuck his hand out. I took his hand and shook it with a tight smile. I wish it didn't take me almost dying for us to stop this. Maybe it was the only way? I'll never know.

warnings: smut (18+ minors dni) oral, p in v, threesome, cream pie
a/n: i think she did it. part three?! literally!!! i can’t tell y’all how proud of myself I am for writing this. this is the first time i've written anything like this. it’s insane, way out of my comfort zone. i hope you’ve enjoyed it as much as i have! feedback is always appreciated!
Part one
Part two
The pouts are gone. Along with the desperate doe eyes that follow Jake Seresin’s every move. Sitting at the radio listening to Bradley and Jake banter back and forth makes you want to bang your head against a brick wall. Your irritation with the blond aviator is tenfold. You thought after that night at the Hard Deck, Jake would finally stop walking on eggshells around you.
Nope.
Motherfucker is flat out ignoring you. Won’t talk to you at all. He has Javy passing along messages he might have. It’s driving you insane. What’s worse, he’s all buddy buddy with Bradley. Like they hadn’t had a standoff with you trying to mediate.
Bob clears his throat from where he’s standing next to you. Your glare moves from the radio to him, causing his eyes to widen and heat to flame his cheeks. Sighing, you rub at your temples. It isn’t his fault and you know better than to take it out on him. Honestly, you have half a mind to tackle Bagman when he lands.
“You coming out to Mav’s tonight?”
You glance at Bob again. “Think so. Someone’s got to drive Bradshaw home, and we all know I’m not going to make Nat do it.”
Bob grimaced, thinking back to the last time Nat had driven Bradley home. You were still out with the daggers, and received a frantic phone call. She’d almost crashed into a tree when he projectile vomited all over her dash. Natasha isn’t afraid of a lot of things, but she’s terrified of drunk Bradley.
You smile at him, thankful. “Are you planning on bringing that girl you’ve been seeing?”
“Oh, I don’t think she’s ready for that.”
“We’ve got to meet her sometime. At least me and Nix do.” His blush is back full force, running up his neck from his chest to the tips of his ears. You grin cheekily, nudging him with your shoulder. “There’s no rush, Bobby. If you're happy, we’re happy.”
He’s bashful, smiling shyly before his face morphs to one with serious intent. “Are you happy?”
“I’m okay.”
“That’s not what I asked.”
You bite your cheek. Are you happy? Honestly, no. You thought you had fixed the Hangman sized hole missing in you, but all that did was make it worse. Things are going well Bradley, after knowing him so long, it’s easy, nice. Comfortable. But there’s the need for more, and you don’t know what more is.
The conversation is cut short when Jake and Bradley walk in, fire blazing behind Jake’s eyes and a satisfied smirk on Bradley’s mouth. Quirking an eyebrow you meet Rooster’s gaze, the only one that would look at you.
“Who won?”
His smirk grew. “I did.”
“You fucking cheated, Bradshaw.”
“It’s not my fault you fell for the bait.”
It’s the first time he’s looked at you in over a month. Your mouth flattens, eyes narrowing as they dart between the two. Clearly, you were the bait. God, could you continue living like this? You got Bradley and at what cost? The expense of your best friend, who you miss so fucking much. Your eyes sting. Quickly you cut your gaze to Bob who’s watching you with worry. Pushing away from the table, the static buzzing from the radio filling the air along with new found tension.
“If you’ll excuse me, I’ve got somewhere to be.”
Like hiding in a storage closet, crying in peace.
“Sunny,”
“Fuck you, Rooster.” Eyes darting to Jake quickly before cutting to the brunet. “You don’t call me that. Ever.”
You turn and head out of the hanger. You can hear them bickering behind you, calling each other idiots. Neither of them are wrong. You slide down to your ass in the hallway, head braced in your hands, elbows on knees. Maybe you should make Bradley drive you home tonight.
“She hasn’t really been living up to her callsign lately, has she?” Jake murmurs.
“I wonder why.” Rooster snaps, your eyes rolling at his tone.
“You two are really that stupid. You share one brain cell and it’s Sunshine.” It gets quiet at Bob’s statement. “She loves the both of you, and you still can’t figure it out. Personally, I think she’s better off without either of you.”
Your heart warms at his words. You really don’t know what you’ve done to deserve Bob, but you’re so grateful. You glance up when he’s suddenly by your side, offering a hand. Yeah, you really don’t know what you did to deserve him.
Turns out, Bob and Natasha are your dates for the night. They keep you distracted. Natasha hogs the radio at Maverick’s, playing all your favorite songs. Bob has supplied you with exactly two screwdrivers — the easiest way to get you drunk. It’s a little embarrassing. You’re in the middle of the room, being twirled around by Maverick. He was quick to pick up on the mood when you and Bradley came separately. The skirt of your dress fans out, exposing the top of your thighs. You might have gotten dressed with the idea of revenge in mind. The dress is short enough to get Jake hot and bothered, and the color is Rooster’s favorite.
You blow a kiss to Maverick when the song ends, a giggle falling past your lips when he catches and holds it to his heart, giving you a knowing wink. Bare feet carry you over to Bob. He's quick to catch you when you stumble, heat blooming on your cheeks. You wanted to have fun, but you don't want to be messy.
“You good, Sunshine?”
You beam at Bob, your megawatt smile blinding. “I’m very good, Bobby. Thank you.”
One of his eyebrow raises, hand tightening around where it holds your wrist. He looks up at you before his gaze slides past you, to whatever commotion is going on with the rest of the party.
“What is it?”
“Nothing, just don’t think they like me holding you like this.”
You frown, turning to see both Bradley and Jake staring at you and Bob. Is this your life now? Every man around you is jealous of the other? Moving to stand on your own, your hand reaches out for Bob’s arm, making sure your feet are firmly planted on the ground. You wait for the world to stop spinning, a bright smile taking up your face when you look down at him.
“All good,” you say to his questioning gaze.
“Are you?”
You glance back at the two men still staring. “Yeah,” you sigh, “I’ll be just fine.”
Snagging your purse and shoes, you make your way out the door. You’re not stupid enough to think you can walk home — you’re literally in the middle of the desert. You’ll get eaten by coyotes, or abducted by aliens before you reach your front door. But it is enough to draw them outside. Because like they had said earlier, they’re a couple of idiots.
“Hey! Whoa, whoa, Sunny.”
“Sunshine, come on!”
“What?” You snap, turning on them, causing them to stumble back in their steps. “What do you want from me?”
It’s almost silly how it happens. It begins before you even realize it. Or perhaps, it’s been like this for months, and it’s been leading up to this.
The only light is coming from the bathroom, which you had forgotten to turn off when you left in a hurry. You left them bickering like old women at your door. Shoes tossed into your closet, purse sat on your vanity. You fling yourself across your bed, eyes closing in contentment. They aren’t loud as they make their way up the stairs, but you know the sound of their footfalls. They’re coming for you. It only makes you toss an arm over your eyes, an attempt to hide yourself from them.
“We should leave her. She’s asleep.”
You have to fight back a grin at Jake’s scoff. “No she isn’t. She’s being a brat.”
A slap to the inside of your thigh makes you yelp. Eyes flying open to glare at the blond. “Ouch, that hurt.”
Jake rolls his eyes. “Told ya.”
“Why are you still here?”
“Do you not want us here?” Bradley asks.
“No,” you answer, pushing up onto your elbows. “Not really.”
It isn’t the answer they’re looking for. Jake raises an eyebrow before reaching for your ankle, yanking you towards the end of the bed. The skirt of your dress rides up, exposing your thighs, and a peek at your lace underwear. Heat should be blooming across your cheeks, you should feel exposed with two sets of eyes on you. But you don’t. It’s almost natural. Because you trust them, and you know they respect you. You’re still a little too pissed off to admit that maybe you’re in love with the both of them. A little too blind to realize that the both of them are in love with you.
They continue to bicker back and forth, teasing and taunting each other while you attempt to drown them out. Bradley’s voice scrapes the floor, it’s so damn deep and rich as whiskey.
Do they know how they sound?
Like they’re licking between your legs, tugging your panties down with their teeth, teeth scraping the sensitive flesh. It’s distracting. Your thighs clench together, you try to be discreet, but you forget that Jake still has a hold of you. He glances down when your ankle tugs, light eyes darkening as they travel up your bare legs.
“Sunny girl,” Jake murmurs. The nickname rolls off his tongue and it melts you, your body instantly relaxing.
“What?” You hate how breathless you sound.
It’s instinct. Bradley helps you remove your clothes. He softly smiles at you when you lift your hips to peel down your panties. You don’t miss how Jake takes them from him and tucks them into his back pocket.
“C’mon flower, up.”
You follow his command, lifting yourself up onto your knees. Jake’s gaze is burning into you when the dress is pulled down, exposing your bare breasts to open air.
“Look at me Sunshine.” Your eyes lock with Jake’s with no hesitation. “We’re going to ruin you. Me and Rooster. Are you okay with that?”
“Yes.”
“Yes what?”
Fire blazes in your eyes. “Yes Lieutenant Seresin.”
“That’s a good girl.”
Jake watches it happen, watches as both of you melt into each other. The overwatch, the overseer: he stares at you, eyes lingering on the hands that roam your flesh, hiking your clothes up until you’re exposed, and raw.
It’s only when you glance at him, hand curling around the bulbous head of Bradley, does he respond.
“Lick her pussy, Bradshaw. Get her nice and wet.”
He utters low commands in the dimly lit room that are instantly obeyed. Stick your tongue out, sweetheart, let him slide his cock across it. Get a good taste of it. Suck her clit until she cries. She likes it. Harder, Bradshaw, you know Sunny can take it.
You don’t think he’s going to join in until Bradley’s made you come three times, all at the direction of Jake. Tears stream down your face, because there is a want vibrating throughout your body, sending shockwaves to your core. Your pussy clenches around nothing. But then, he pulls himself from his pants, hard and leaking.
It’s only then, heart in your throat, that you realize Bradley’s been foreplay.
“Take it easy on her, Hangman” Bradley hums as he traces the seam of your cunt. He pinches your clit as he rocks against your ass, and you can feel the head of his cock smear against your entrance, nudge and prod until, finally, he sinks to the hilt. You moan, the shock of his size.
“That’s right, sweetheart. Want to hear the pretty noises fall from that pretty mouth.” Jake grits between clenched teeth.
Bradley kisses your shoulder, sucking the skin until it bruises. "C'mon, flower, we know you can take it."
You should be embarrassed. Because you know that no one has pulled noises out of you like Jake Seresin has. Your boyfriend is rutting behind you, watching the whole exchange. You don't care. Not really.
Jake continues. He doesn't fuck fast, but goes for slow, agonizing strokes that deliberately push into the center of your nerves. Tiny shocks of electricity sparking every time he meets that spongey spot inside of you. He breathes heavily, grunting when you clench around him. The room is miserably hot. There's sweat beneath your arms and under your tits and you’re sandwiched between them. Worshiped. Treasured. You never thought for a second that it could be like this.
Good girl. Fuck. You're so fucking gorgeous.
“Fuck,” you gasp when Jake drives further, clamping his hand down on your waist to hold you steady. “Jake,”
He pauses, and the punishing drag of his cock halts only to pulse and throb in the clutch of your pussy. Pulsing, warm walls tightening around the thick of him. You bury your fingers into his muscular shoulders. You need the movement. You need him to keep going because he’s just getting bigger, stretching you in the most delicious way, pushing you to your limit.
“Sunny,” Jake murmurs as he palms at your cheek. You lift your gaze to his, and something tightens inside your chest. Jake’s eyes are clearer than they’ve ever been. A bright, seaglass green. The prettiest gems you’ve ever seen.
Bradley is still tasting your skin, the warmth of him swallowing you whole. You’re overwhelmed but it’s still somehow not enough. It’s like they know — they can feel it humming in your veins. Rough hands flip you, face now buried in your sheets, ass up for display. You hear Jake groan at the sight, a light smack to your ass cheek. You keen, pushing yourself closer.
It’s the gentle grasp on your chin that grounds you. Bradley’s looking at you like you’re the most precious thing he’s ever seen. “Can I flower?”
You don’t know why they’re asking. You wouldn’t deny them. Don’t think you could if you tried. Bradley’s cock brushes across your tongue, eyes fluttering when you wrap your lips around him, head tipping back in pleasure. “Fuck,”
Your tongue roams over his slit, tasting all of him. His breath is ragged, heavy. There is no warning—just a strangled choke of your name—and then he’s cumming on your tongue, ropes spurting over your cheeks and chin.
You gasp, wet and broken, and completely filthy.
“That’s it—,” Jake mumbles against you, the head of cock brushing against your seam. It makes your toes curl — the perfect mix of not enough and too much, and —
Bradley strokes your hair, eyes glazed. The angle is awkward, but his mouth meshes with yours, tongue rubbing over the mess he made of you. He kisses you like he’s worshiping you. Like you’re the best thing he’d ever tasted, and he can’t get enough.
Jake’s teeth dig into your skin, leaving bruises behind. It makes you whine. Little secrets that litter your skin. He’s pulled you up on your knees, hand wrapped snugly around your throat. Soft hazel eyes burn into yours as you get fucked from behind. He thrusts harder, rougher until your hand is wrapped around his wrist trying to hold you steady. He’s fully claiming you. Cock punching into the deepest part of you. Your head is empty, full of nothing but Jake, of Bradley.
It’s burning low in your belly. A fire trying to escape, engulf you whole from the inside out. Moans are pouring out of you with every thrust. Each one more brutal than the last. Walls clenching tight around him, you can feel him grunting against the nap of your neck.
“Jake, I–” you're cut off by a whimper when he reaches that hard to reach spot deep inside you. Over and over again, you feel it coming, your orgasm is going to come crashing down and you’re ready to bask in it.
“You going to come on my cock, sweetheart?” Jake murmurs into your hair.
Your mouth opens but nothing comes out. Bradley cocks his head, eyes finding yours. You swallow, watching as a knowing grin takes over him. “Use your words, baby.” He says, mocking you. “Hangman asked you a question.” Tears are streaming down your face. It doesn’t hurt. You can take it—you can take all of it. You want it, want him. More, more, more.
You come on Jake’s cock like a tidal wave, and when you collapse against the bed, your body trembles, heaving desperately for air. Jake groans, pulling you up until you’re flush against him. His lips meet yours in a messy kiss, bucking his hips harder until he’s chasing his high right over the ledge with you.
“Fuck, Sunshine,” he praises, wiping the sweat off the back of your neck. “Good fuckin’ girl.”
There’s only a moment between Jake finishing, and him pulling out of you. A sharp hiss slipping passed your swollen lips, a glare sent over your shoulder. They give you no time to right yourself. Strong arms lift you up, settling you on Bradley’s lap. Your hands instantly fall to his shoulders, fingers digging into his lightly tanned skin. Tilting your head back, you smile at the tickle of his mustache, lips trailing hot kisses across your skin.
You run a thumb over the tip, smearing the precum. Your nails nip at his sensitive skin and he shivers. Lifting yourself up on your knees, you hover, waiting patiently for his direction. His dick nudges the soaked folds of your cunt.
“You’re too good to me,” his voice is thick with want.
Slowly he pulls you down, his thick length sinking into you. He’s too big. Fuck, he’s so big. The head of his cock hits that sensitive spot, and you’ve barely just started. You breathe in nice and slow, relaxing yourself with every slow thrust he makes until he’s at the hilt. He delves down, taking a nipple between his teeth while he explores the other, tugging it gently as he rolls it between his fingers. The heat pooling between your thighs ignites as a desperate moan slips from your lips.
At this point, you’re here for the ride. But god, if it isn’t one you’re enjoying.
Hammering into you, each deep stroke better than the last. Your orgasm takes you by surprise. You lurch against him when you moan. You melt, boneless, like jelly. You’re loose and wet and fucking perfect. His nose presses into your cheek as he grinds into you.
“Fuck, Sunshine. Love the feeling of you on my cock.”
You snort, pulling yourself closer to him. Guttural grunts and low growls meet your ear. Heavy breaths that bounce around the room. It’s a brutal taking, and you are not wet enough. Fresh tears pool in your eyes, threatening to fall with every harsh thrust. You take what you're given, no complaints. Bradley readjusts, moving you to where you are firmly planted on his thighs, giving him a better angle. You’re bouncing with each thrust from his cock now. He’s deep, so deep you can see the bulge of him in your tummy. You pull his hair, grinning when he hisses.
“You got one more for me?”
He knows you can’t talk. He knows you’re fucked out, gone stupid on his cock. Just like you always do. He loves when you get like this. He loves it even more because you beg for it. You move, opening up your legs a little wider. He groans feeling himself sink deeper into you. You’re puffy and raw and you’re living for it. Nodding, his name falls from your lips.
It builds and builds and builds until it has nowhere to go. It roars forward, jolting you, a scream ripped from your throat and your nails digging into him so hard you can feel when he starts to bleed. Bradley is there. He holds you into place, mustache grazing your cheek. He fucks you through it all, jamming himself into your searing overstimulated sex, he meets his end. His grip tightens, a low gravel filled groan comes from deep in his chest, filling you up. You feel the drag of his dog tags when he lifts his head to trail kisses across your sweaty skin.
“Fucking hell,” he mutters, breaking the silence.
You pull him on top of you, hugging him tightly to you. A steady hand cups your face. Glancing up you meet the clear eyes of Jake. Grasping him, you pull him to you as well. You bask in the feel of him. You hadn’t realized how much you’d been missing him until you were drunk off of him. You’re aching and sore but you refuse to move away from them. Bradley’s eyes are still dark and heavy-lidded as he regards you.
“Keep me in there,” he tells you and you just smile.
“So,” Jake says after a moment. “You still mad at us?”
“Should I be?”
“Sunny,”
“I just,” you pause, teeth digging into your bottom lip. “I want things back to normal.”
“Baby I don’t think things can be normal after this.”
Your eyes meet Jake’s. “I’m tired of being ignored.”
His eyes soften as he stares at you. “I’m tired of ignoring you.”
“All I’m hearing,” Bradley butts in, “is that I’m no longer the only one dating Sunshine.”
Your eyebrows furrow, looking between the two. What? When has that ever been an option? The room stays quiet. Your eyes droop, rising and falling with Bradley’s steady breathing. Could you do it? Date them both? The way Bradley dropped it into your lap sounds like they’ve already talked about it. Maybe they have. Now, it’s up for you to decide.
“Sweetheart, all we want is for you to be happy. If that means the both of us. Then you get the both of us.”
You look at Jake in disbelief. “You and Bradley can barely stand each other.”
“We’ll work on it. For you.”
“Only you.” Bradley adds.

Endless Love (Bradley "Rooster" Bradshaw) - Chapter 2
summary - Y/N Y/L/N and Bradley Bradshaw have had a rivalry ever since they both attended the same academy. Every chance they took, they always tried to one up each other. One day, Bradley takes the rivalry too far and Y/N ends up in the hospital with serious injuries. Will it make Y/N want to get him back twice as worse? Or will it make her realise that this rivalry between them is childish?
warnings - swearing, enemies to lovers, mention of serious injury, traumatic episodes, reader traumatised from what happened, smut, slowburn, seizures, flashbacks
a/n: hey girliessssss, this is going to be hard to read for some people after this chapter as it talks about trauma and things like that, as well as the single seizure in this chapter
It was our first official day at Top Gun, everyone was sat down waiting to get briefed. My table was in front of Phoenix and Bob's table so I turned around to talk to them.
"Who do you think our trainer guy is gonna be?" Bob asked, his gaze switching from me to Phoenix over and over again.
"Let's not hope it's some douchebag. Otherwise me and them are going to have a problem." Our attention is then taken by Cyclone, who is standing at the podium with papers in his hand.
"Attention ladies and gentlemen. Your trainer is someone with the highest skill, he has beaten limits no one else has had the guts to." We hear the doors open but keep our attention on Cyclone. "May I introduce Captain Pete "Maverick" Mitchell." Maverick then stands beside Cyclone, next to the podium.
Me and Maverick make eye contact, while his eyes widen in shock, mine have pure anger in them. What the fuck is this prick doing here? I ask myself as I grip the sides of the desk.
Bradshaw then turns his head to me as he sees that me and Maverick know each other.
"Hey, Y/L/N, why are you looking at Maverick like you wanna kill him?" There is a chuckle in his voice, which makes me even angrier.
I turn to Bradshaw, the anger in my eyes changing to rage. "None of your fucking business Bradshaw." I then turn my head again and face the wall in front of me. I couldn't look at Maverick, Bradshaw or anyone for this matter so it's best if I stare at the wall.
"Now, all of you here are clearly the best of the best. I want you to prove that. We're going to be training for a mission that is highly dangerous, so we're going to put you in dangerous situations and see how you get out of them." Maverick started to say but I zoned out after hearing his voice for too long.
--------------------------------------
I was in the locker room, getting into my flight suit for our first training session. I was still very angry. Why the fuck did Maverick have to be our trainer?
"Hey, Y/N, you okay? You were practically killing Maverick with your eyes earlier." Phoenix taps my shoulder as she gets into her flight suit too.
"Just something that happened in the past, doesn't really matter." I turn my head away from Phoenix and finish putting my flight suit on. I grab my helmet from my locker that has "Vandal" printed onto it.
I was the first out there, waiting for everyone else to come outside.
Since Maverick was also outside he thought it'd be a great idea to strike up a conversation.
"Listen, Y/N/N... I didn't mean to-" I immediately interrupt him, rage now coming back into my expression and voice.
"You do not get to call me that anymore! Not after what you fucking did." I half shouted, half spoke normally as to not get anyone's attention.
"Okay... Okay... I... I just want to say I'm sorry..." His expression had remorse all over his face.
"Fuck you. Don't think that an apology can fix what you fucking did." I kissed my teeth as I looked away from him, my grip on my helmet tightening.
The rest of the group came walking in and could sense the tension in the air, none of them spoke.
"Guess one of them left without leaving a note the other night." Hangman spoke up, which caused a few to chuckle but it made my anger increase.
"But you would obviously know that since you get left a note every time you fuck a girl." I speak up, making everyone, except Hangman, Bradshaw and Maverick, burst out in laughter.
"Alright! That's enough!" Maverick spoke up and neatened up the papers he had in his hand on the podium. "We will be starting off strong with today's training session! I'll split you into two groups. Y/C/S, Rooster. You will both be captains of these teams." Maverick put everyone into either mine or Rooster's team.
When I began to head to my jet, Bradshaw caught up with me.
"Hey Y/C/S, get ready to be second best as per usual!" But before I could even retort with something, he jogged to his jet in front of me.
---------------------------------------
We've been in the sky for about 2 hours. The objective was to take down as many jets on the opposing team before the time runs out. We have around 30 minutes left. I'm the only person on my team left, however, Rooster and Coyote are the last 2 standing on their team.
It wasn't hard to "shoot" Coyote down so now it was just me and Rooster left. I was not going to let him shoot me down. We were flying beside each other for about 10 minutes to see who would let themselves get shot down first, neither of us backed down.
Somehow we managed to get into a Pugachev's Cobra. Maverick immediately told us that one of us should pull out as soon as possible. Neither one of us did. We were getting closer and closer to the ground, breaking the Hard Deck. Then suddenly, Rooster's jet launches a small missile which hits my jet, sending me to the ground. I pressed everyone button possible, then I pressed the eject button. My chair ejected before the cockpit could open fully so I clipped my head on the edge of the glass, which at the speed that i was ejected out of knocked me unconscious.
-------------------------------------
I was in a hospital bed. I hadn't woke up yet but I could hear things. People talking. The beeping of machines. Doctors talking. But the one thing that stood out to me was the voices of Bradshaw and Maverick. Both of them were apologising.
"I'm really sorry Y/N, it was an accident, I didn't mean to press that fucking button!" Bradshaw whisper-shouted as I heard him place flowers at the side of the bed. Then there was Maverick.
"Oh Y/N/N..." I told him not to use that name. "I'm so sorry... for what I did... for how I did it... and for leaving you, even when I said I wouldn't..." Maverick sounded like he was crying.
That was when it happened, I had had a seizure. From what I heard I was having a seizure, I felt completely fine. But that's the thing, I wasn't fine for long. I lost complete consciousness, no voices, no sounds, pure darkness. Great.

Endless Love (Bradley "Rooster" Bradshaw) - Chapter 3
summary - Y/N Y/L/N and Bradley Bradshaw have had a rivalry ever since they both attended the same academy.
When I woke up, it was dark. Very dark. well, apart from the light next to my bed. I looked around, feeling very dizzy, and saw Maverick in a chair, reading a magazine next to my bed. Why was he here?
He looked up and saw I was awake. The look on relief on his face made me smile slightly.
"Oh my god Y/N. How are you feeling? Do you want me to go get a nurse? Doctor?" He kneeled down in front of my bed and put his hand on mine. Maybe I should hear him out on what he has to say.
"No, no. I'm fine Maverick, just a little dizzy is all. What exactly happened?" I painfully sit up as Maverick pulls the chair closer to the hospital bed.
"You and Rooster did a Pugachev's Cobra and Rooster accidentally shot one of his missiles at your jet. Which caused you and your jet to go down, you slightly tore a ligament in your neck and arm." He had such a worried look on his face. Maybe he isn't such a dick from what my mum told me all those years ago.
"Y/N... I also want to apologise. I know you probably don't care but your mom told me to leave because she thought I'd be a horrible father... I wanted to be in your life..." Maverick began to cry. He wanted to be a part of my life? But mum told me he walked out after she told him he was pregnant?
"Wait wait wait wait, you wanted to be my dad? But mum told me you walked out on her when she told you she was pregnant. Why would my mum lie to me?" What the fuck? Why would mum lie?
"Me and her had an argument a month before you were born, it was really bad... I caught her cheating on me... When I confronted her she blew up... That's when she kicked me out and never let me see you... Then when she did let me see you, it wasn't as often as I'd hoped... That's why, one day, I left you a note and then you and your mom moved to England, to be with her family..." The amount of tears increased.
"What the fuck... so because of a mistake she made, you had to suffer?..." How the fuck could my mum do that? Lie to me my whole life?
"I get why you were pissed... And I get why you blew up at me before training..." When he mentioned that training exercise, something snapped. Flashbacks of what happened before I crashed. I began to panic, I was reliving the crash. Every second of it. The pain. the anxiety. It was too much.
I began to hyperventilate and tears began to run down my cheeks. Maverick tried to hug me but I pushed him away.
"Y/N? What's wrong?" I didn't answer him, not even hearing exactly what he said. I went into a full blown panic attack. I could feel my body shaking. I couldn't breathe properly and my vision was going blurry. Oh god... I didn't think this would happen... I haven't had a panic attack as bad as this since high school...
-----------------------------------
I had finally calmed down. Taking deep breaths as Maverick looked at me with panic in his eyes.
"Y/N... what was that?" I didn't know how to answer that... I don't know if I did want to answer that...
"I think it was a panic attack..." Maverick nodded his head with worry in his eyes.
"That should be expected after what you've been through... The doctors said you could get flashbacks from what happened as it was a very traumatising experience. I'm here if you wanna talk about it Y/N/N..." This time when he used my nickname, it didn't give me anger, it actually gave me comfort.
"Thank you..." I pause for a second, wondering how long I've been unconscious. Fuck! "How long have I been out?"
"About 3 weeks... the doctors said the earliest you'd wake up would be weeks from now..." Maverick places a comforting hand in mine.
"I've missed so much training! For fuck's sake man! How much did I miss?" Maverick slightly chuckled, that all I cared about right now was how much training I missed.
"You've missed quite a bit, but don't worry... I can help you catch up, it may be stressful for you so you can back out whenever you need to." I shook my head with a stern look on my face.
"No. I am not backing out. I haven't come this far just to back out because of some training accident." I had a stern and serious tone in my voice.
"Okay, okay." Maverick chuckled a bit. "Get some rest, I'll see what the doctors say about how much time you should take it easy and all that stuff for you." Maverick gave me a tight lipped smile as he walked out of the room.
Bradshaw is definitely gonna be first for this one... Fuck!

rooster is the type of guy who can fall asleep anytime, anywhere. if he can relax and close his eyes for a few minutes, he’ll be out in seconds. even when you go to sleep normally, as soon as his head hits the pillow, he’s snoring (quietly, but snoring nonetheless).
when it comes to after sex, though, rooster waits to fall asleep. he waits until he knows you’re taken care of. he’ll clean you up and get you a drink and snack if you want. he’ll bring you a change of clothes or one of his shirts; anything he can do to make you comfortable.
once he knows that you’re taken care or, he’ll slide into bed with you and hold you tightly. you feel safe in his arms, and it usually doesn’t take you long to fall asleep, especially if you just finished with some more physically taxing sex than usual.
rooster, however, stays awake for a while after you fall asleep. he watches the steady rise and fall of your chest, your eyelids twitching as you dream, your soft, innocent expression as you sleep. you looking so peaceful helps him come down from his high, and as the adrenaline wears off, rooster’s eyelids grow heavier until he is falling to sleep with you still wrapped in his arms.
