Getting DARVO’d sucks because it’s been years and I still have the gut wrenching feelings of maybe they didn’t do those things to me, and I am actually a bad person like they told me I was. But then I think about how if I was as evil as they told me I was, I wouldn’t have had to go through two years of recovery and trauma therapy just to feel like a normal person again while they continued to live their life completely fine as if nothing happened.
