"I suppose they do," Pentious admits with a low chuckle.

"But sometimes they are scared of demons. They even emulate anger if the situation calls for it. Not unusual souls in that regard, I suppose."

If they could even be called that.

The serpent can't let the minions occupy his thoughts much longer, not when Alastor hugs him that much closer. His own tail closes in on the other Sinner, protectively, experimentally coiling him into a tighter embrace.

"...I find you very sweet at the moment," Pentious says, feeling a familiar redness seep up his neck as Alastor presses into him, sending him into a whirlwind of thoughts and emotions. The most pressing of which tells him to keep holding the other demon out of some convoluted fear of him slipping out of his claws and free-falling back onto the ground instead.

It doesn't make sense. Not much of anything does here. But it feels good. Holding Alastor against himself and taking in the sensations, his scent and details of his body feel incredibly good and comforting. Pentious wants to learn more of that body, though he knows that is to take time. He wants to hear more of Alastor's intriguing voice, its different tones and the effects the serpent supposes his microphone conjures. He wants to see more of the other's charming and intelligent personality that seeps into their interactions. He is greedy, greedy, greedy.

"May I give you another kiss?" he asks, incapable of stopping himself.

"Whilst you keep talking, please do," the serpent continues, laughing softly against the embrace. "...About anything at all."

Good - reassured, though only slightly, Alastor allows himself to relax just a bit, the tension seeping from him as he observes the other's softer touches. It is such a strange feeling to be grasped with those tender hands and looked upon as if he is worth much of anything. Confident though he is in his day-to-day, there are hidden insecurities there. As with anyone, really.

He knows it is only a matter of time before Pentious makes a bid at discovering them. He will need to tread carefully to keep them finely tuned and secretive.

But it is oh so difficult when he feels the hand brushing his hair aside - a gesture that reminds him far too much of his mother; the tenderness of such a thing feels outside of what he deserves. And yet he leans into whatever the other sees fit to provide.

Internally, Alastor chastises himself. He is not meant for this treatment.

"They like everyone," he observes, his arms further wrapping themselves around Pentious as they remain there, his head leaning to nestle against the other sinner's shoulder. When he became so bought-in to this encounter to the point of not wanting to part, he is not sure. Maybe it is just the appeal of the moment that he's not sure he can recreate later without faltering.

Maybe it's the venom.

"Get me leashes for them and maybe I will take them out again."
