uhh idk how interesting it is for other people but I find idioms and that kinda stuff really interesting so "roman axe" is a combo of the whole "rome wasn't built in a day" thing and "grandfather's axe" (similar to the ship of theseus paradox, but I heard this more often growing up).

There's probably some combination of poetic nonsense I could come up with like 'if Rome was rebuilt in a day is it still Rome?' but at the time I just liked those two sayings the most lol

Y'all I was working on part four of Mutual Satisfaction on the train this morning and I realized that we're already over 7k words ☠️

For reference, the longest published fic in the series, Consume Me, is 8k words.

I haven't even finished the smut scene or written anything for the Husk & Angel subplot. This bitch is gonna be like 10k words 😅

WIP Wednesday - Writing Wrap-Up (Nov & Dec 2024)

I actually really enjoyed sharing my fanfic plans last month, so I'm doing it again with my plans for the rest of the year!

Secret Santa at the hotel with a lot of other Christmas activities. Fluffy, holiday, getting to know each other, post season one

I plan to post every Tuesday of December where the final part posted on x-mas eve. (Outline done, 2k words written. Maybe around 8-10k words? Not positive)

Fluffy 5+1 Mutual Satisfaction series epilogue. The five times Alastor and Lucifer tried to announce their relationship (+ the one time they successfully did so). A little bit silly, a lot of awkwardly funny moments/second hand embassment, but still really fluffy and cute.

Outline 60% written, this is the fic most likely to be pushed to the new year

Since it's a Secret Santa style gift, I can't give specifics but it's an AU I have not written before but I have read a lot of. I am loving how it's turning out and I'm so excited to share with y'all and my giftee

Outline done and 5.5k words written, expected to be around 12k words total (the minimum was 2k... I may have gone a little over board lol)

Outline done, 2k words written, expected to be around 5k words total. Probably posting between X-mas and New Years? Unless I get the itch to finish it early

And finally, this isn't a WIP but I applied to the Happy Zine in Hell as a writer! I don't have super high hopes cause there are over 380 other applicants, but thought I mention it just cause I was excited about it lol.

I'm not allowed to say anything about what prompts I got, but one of the options is something I've read a lot of and never written, so I'm excited to have an excuse to give it a try ^///^

btw I know a lot of y'all followed me for writing and I haven't posted in a while. So if you're interested, current WIPs below the break:

1) Second Rendezvous (Explicit RadioApple Sequel)

I've got 5k words written, and an estimated 2k words to go. Ideally, I'll have it ready to publish before October ends, but we'll see

2) Angsty Lucifer One-Shot

The draft is completely done, but I want to give it an editing pass or two before I post. It's essentially just about Lucifer's depression and what it feels like for him. ~1k words, hopefully posted in the next day or two

3) Vox/Vox's Assistant Explicit One Shot

I've got about 2k words written and I expect it to be about 5k words. The assistant is the top cause apparently I'm obsessed with the smaller of the pair being the top ^-^'

4) I mentioned on my twt, but I am joining the RadioApple Winter Holiday Exchange hosted by the owners of Antlers & Apples and RadioApple discord servers. I've joined as an NSFW writer, so once I get my assignment on the 25th, I'll be working on that fic as well!

I have a few other drafts/ideas in the works, but these are the ones I'm determined to finish.
