His hair is described as "темно-русый" which is dark blond kinda going into light brown. The best color match i can visualize for myself is this color on Ian Somerhalder
Tumblr media
You would say it's blond in sun and brown in shade
Don't get me started on the implications of even his hair not being a solid color, it's always a either or, раскаленнный
the fact that rodion romanovich raskolnikov is a blond is simply too overpowering for y’all

👑 + Pretty sure you don’t know her, but you’d be very good at playing Rodyon from Limbus Company
I played a little bit of limbus, she's the long haired brunette that's full of herself, right?

Future EGO predictions - ZAYIN
Thinking about future EGO possibilities is fun + there are so much old lobcorp abnormalities that would be cool adapted in Limbus. I will try to associate each Lobcorp abnormality to one or a few sinners that would make sense. Starting from the ZAYIN risk level!
- One Sin and Hundreds of Good Deeds: the og good boy. Associated with difference between good and evil, judgement and atonement. The two sinners that resonate the more with these are Sinclair (tension between world of light and world of evil) and Meursault (being judged, see also Pursuance EGO).
- Plague Doctor: guy who has god syndrome. I feel that Faust is a very good fit for him. Pretty curious as to how they will implement him and his divine persona (noticed there are 13 sinners counting Dante?)
- Don’t Touch Me: impulse control - the abnormality. This screams Rodyon, but also not sure what its EGO would look like.
- Opened Can of Wellcheers: this is a tough one. Not really sure what its supposed to be about. You could tie it to impulse control again (”yeah soda is cool but don’t drink the opened can”). You could also spin it along the theme of trust, and associate it to Hong Lu and Ishmael (bonus for nautical theme!).
- You’re Bald...: this is a joke abnormality I think? The lore is about some kind of idealization of baldness so Yi Sang maybe?? Gregor could fit with the whole appearance change thing too. Seems pretty far fetched. I would honestly give it to someone it would be funny to see bald so Hong Lu or Don Quichotte. But hitman Gregor also sounds cool..
- Mirror of Adjustment: strongly tied with the themes of transience of being and change. Gregor is a good fit.
- Fairy Festival: being used by someone to fulfill their needs. Outis comes to my mind with the whole duplicity thing.
- We Can Change Anything: gore for fun and profit. Ryoshu.
- You Must be Happy: Meursault got a variant of this one already, so I’m not sure if we will see it. Otherwise it’s Yi Sang material.
- Old Faith and Promise: faith, betrayal and trust. Ishmael or Heathcliff maybe? Hong Lu could also fit the trust aspect or Rodyon for the rng fest this abnormality is.
- Army in Pink: Don Quichotte is perfect here (pious vow to defend). Depending of your interpretation of the abnormality true purpose Outis is also decent.
I’m sure we are bound to see some of them, probably with interesting twists like PM did with You Must Be Happy that will radically change the predictions.

Peter groaned, his head was pounding. He could hear similar groans and whimpers as his companions roused. Smoldering wreckage was strewn around them in messy heaps, bits of the stolen ship scattered everywhere, disappearing into the soft green grass that swished softly across Peter's feet. Kyarma and Rodyon helped Deebly stand as they made their way to Peter's side. Rumble was not to far behind, stoping only to shake off a peice of seat cushion that he had accidentally impaled with his tail.
Slowly, the group escaped the crash site, walking up what Peter first assumed to be a small hill, only to stop in pure wonder at the magnificent sight now infront of them.

Eyyyy guess who's back on their self indulging bullshit.
I've been working on a new GotG fic, and a few days ago i was bored in math class after i had finished a test early, so i decided to draw some of the characters from the fic! Of the group, only Peter has appeared yet.
In order from left to right is Rumble, Deebly, Peter, Kyarma and Rodyon.
I'd love to hear yall's opinions! The fic only has 3 chapters at the moment, but this is a concept I've been toying with for a year now, and I'm excited to finally be making it!

I need someone to play Limbus Company and get as obssessed as I have, so that we can discuss lore and all that stuff.
If I haven’t convinced you yet, the game is free, aaaaaand...There’s a character named Rodyon who has ‘glutton’ as one of her main personality traits and constantly talks about food and gambling.

Another parallel with Judas and Jesus (but this mainly with The last days of Judas Iscariot) is in Crime and Punishment: "But you are a great sinner, that's true," he added almost solemnly, and your worst sin is that you have destroyed and betrayed yourself for nothing. Isn't that fearful? Isn't it fearful that you are living in this filth which you loathe so, and at the same time you know yourself (you've only to open your eyes) that you are not helping anyone by it, not saving anyone from anything?" Rodya tells this to Sonya but this could have been a conversation between Jesus and Judas. Judas keeps himself in hell (he punishes himself) because he thinks he deserves it, because he's ashamed of what he's done and making himself unlovable is the only way he can deal with it.
This is obviously me reaching waay too far but the thing about Dostoevsky's writing and his characters is that they represent this model of human behavior the same way bible does - the characters in these stories represent ideas. But the main thing always is love.
Hey so I was thinking and I think, partially Ivan is based on Judas or rather what he could have been… Fyodor is the devil, he is the epitome of nihilism but Ivan is the one who is getting corrupted by Fyodor (Ivan is the one who cannot deny that Fyodor's actions are justifiable because God doesn't exist). Judas is the one who doubts, he is the one who gets seduced by the devil, he's the one who betrays. And I think Ivan represents the struggle to this corruption. But what Dostoyevsky does is that he changes the ending for Ivan, at the end he doesn't betray (on the contrary, he claims he's the one who's guilty). And when Dostoyevsky says hell is suffering of being unable to love, that directly shows what saved Ivan and what couldn't save Judas. Ivan doesn't go to "hell" because he loves his brothers and he loves Katerina (he loves the world) and the reason why Judas ended up in hell wasn't because of his sin but because there was no love in him anymore, he lost the ability to love… adding to this, the way Judas is portrayed in "The last days of Judas Iscariot" reinforces Dostoyevsky's definition of hell - there's Jesus who pours his heart out to Judas to save him but Judas refuses not only because he has lost the ability to love but also the ability to receive love. That is his hell, a loveless void.
