The roadster is back up for sale after the buyer backed out... I'm dropping the price to $23,500 so come and get it. This car is a TROG veteran and has lots of other media coverage. 1928 Australian Phaeton Body that was owned by a sign painter and shipped to the US in the 70s so all the patina is the real deal. The body panels were all mounted to a custom subframe to make it more strong and match up to the original 32 frame. It has folding 30/31 deluxe windshield stancions, a chopped old chrome windshield, an original 32 grille and insert, stock 8ba with 59a heads, rebuilt distributor, rebuilt generator, thickstun intake with freshly rebuilt 97's and a rebuilt 39 trans. The frame is an original 32 frame, the front end is a dropped 34 axle with split wishbones and 40 ford juice brakes, the rear end is stock 32 with 40 ford juice brakes. It has an aristocrat dash with Stewart Warner gauges, 49 Mercury steering wheel, Kelsey Hayes wire wheels and newer firestone tires. Still factory stamped date on the firewall. New front and rear glass, two new water pumps, flushed radiator, thermostats, plugs, master break cylinder, reupholstered seat. Texaco Logo is computer generated, we considered painting it on and will if desired but I thought maybe the next owner wanted to add their own logo. Still sitting on its original tires. 99% rust free. Needs some minor tweaks to make a daily. I haven't seen an original vehicle from the 40's this solid.
