LIMA, OHIO: A TOWN DIVIDED

It’s 2017, a time when discrimination is frowned upon, and segregation is meant to be a thing of the past, yet Lima, Ohio stands out among the masses and remains divided. Not a single Lima native can remember a time before this; a time before the Greasers – the poor, lower class families – of the South were pitted against the Socials – the wealthier, high-class families – of the North. An unfortunate “tradition” passed down throughout generations, with no amount of change ever proving capable of ridding the town of its divide. Bouts of violence and bigotry have become part of the norm when both sides cross paths.

However, Mayor Smythe – whose loyalty lies with the Socials – intends to try to make the city a “safer, more respectable place.” But at what cost? His views and propositions are against all that is the Greasers. If the Greasers don’t stand their ground and stick up for what they believe, their numbers are sure to begin dwindling, the tight-knit family that they had created with one another bound to be torn apart.

But, now, the tension between the Greasers and Socials is higher than ever, especially among their youth. Interacting with one another on a daily basis has proved to only heighten the animosity. Both sides are only attempting to survive and fight for their own beliefs, no matter how violent the outcome may be.

In the small town of Dillon, Texas, high school football and basketball are everything to it’s residents. Everywhere you go within the town limits you will find Panther Pride, especially since Dillon’s Varsity teams are always among the top in the state of Texas.

Underneath all the Panther Pride though is a long-lasting rivalry between the football and basketball teams that began some 70 years ago when your grandparents were students at Dillon High. Why did this rivalry form though? Each team wanted to be the beloved apple of the town’s eye and there is only room for ONE top team in Dillon. In recent years though this rivalry has only seemed to have intensified with the ill-fated Puckerman brothers both at DHS and each one a member of the rivaled teams. The pranks have intensified, the fights between rivaling members have intensified and so have the stakes. Not only are they now vying to be the top team in town, but they are now vying for the best Rally Girls, a father’s ultimate love and of course all the bragging rights that come with being among the top in the state.

Clear Eyes Full Hearts is a brand new AU Glee RPG inspired by the shows Friday Night Lights and One Tree Hill.

The University of Texas Longhorns are known for having a legacy of winning seasons, but it’s not just the football players that are looking for the gold this year. The newly revamped Glee Club is looking to reclaim their former glory, much to the chagrin of the university, and the nationally acclaimed cheerleaders are looking to add one more national title to their repertoire. But will issues both inside and outside of the school affect the students and their goals? And can each and every student handle the pressure that comes with being a student at the University of Texas? Only time will tell whether or not these students can handle the pressure or if they’ll wind up crumbling before the semester is over.

Okay so, I was thinking about applying but I’m at work for another 7 hours, lots of thinking to do! Would you rather have a Roderick or Dave? I can’t ever decide between them...

Okay so first of all, this ask makes me so happy. I’d be delighted to have either Dave or Roderick, because Dave really grew on me the most recent/last time I did a watch-through (the poor boy is one of like, four Glee characters who got a complete arc….) and Roderick brought tears to my eyes after like, six words of his first voiceover, so I’m actually being completely honest when I say I’d love an application for either - but if I absolutely had to decide, I think Roderick would win out by just a hair, because I’m co-founder of the Season Six Newbie Defense Squad, and I just love him so much. Neither of these boys get enough love in the GRPC, and it breaks my heart.

I hope your workday goes quickly, and I look forward to see an app for whichever of them you do end up applying for!!!
