I need me a Venomshank introducing his s/o reader to Sword for the first time. Imagine Venomshank is so OBVIOUSLY hiding something from Sword and when Sword finally asks, boom, Reader.

Or imagine it was the opposite, Reader doesn’t know that Sword is Venomshank’s kid. They go over to his home one day and Sword is just way too comfortable on the couch like “sup. you here for my dad or??”

"Are you sure this is okay, Honey?" You questioned your husband, who has been hiding you from his son for the past years. You had never revealed yourself to Sword, who was concerned for his father's strange antics lately.

"I'm sure, my welt, that there is nothing to be worried about. He is quite accepting, especially since he dates that rocket-boy..." Venomshank mentioned, busy waiting away outside of Thieves' Den motorway bus-stop. You, right beside him, holding hands with a specialized glove.

Windforce had gifted it to you, especially since she is very familial motivated, similar to the many gods you studied in Thieves' Den. You stared at your husband, who was trying his best to stay undercover. You never see a deity out in the blue randomly, as for they rest above.

"Well, I just hope he doesn't mind that you've hid me for these past few years." Being undercover wasn't something you were too proud of, but anything to stay away from people that might be hunting down Venomshank himself for certain answers or to thieve.

"I promise you, I'm sure he'd understand the reasoning behind it. I care for your safety, my love, you are my life's proudest accomplishments," He preached with a slight huff underneath the mask. You shook your head, laughing. "Mmm, your proudest accomplishments, ey?"

"Do not start." You lifted a finger and giggled, shaking your head as the sound of the bus arriving soon came along. You, Venomshank, and a few other standbyers' entered the bus. Swiping your bus-card twice to pay for Venomshank, you both comfortably sat down and drove on the high-way. It was about an hours worth of a drive, so it was worth the trip. The ocean and the forestry was a cleanser for the amount of stuff you slightly went through for the past few years.

"Admiring every small spec of natures grateful gleam, I see?" Venomshank muttered. He was staring at the same things just the same, but it didn't seem to bitter any sense of correlation to you. "Yes, of course. They remind me of you, my dear," You lightly shuffled, humming as your hand held onto his slightly tougher. He had to avoid doing so many things with you, it was upsetting.

He dealt with many things in his life, but being unable to touch his partner was one of the worst things and progressively affecting him in such many ways. But, not enough for him to even replace you. He'd never do that.

"We're gonna be here for long, how about we rest?" "That sounds like a great idea, my darling."

"Dad?" I looked at my father who had just come home. It was silent, other then the sound of the kettle playing and the television playing slight muffled sounds of a movie. It intrigued me, but something didn't feel all too right.

"Is someone here?" I peeped, only to spot dad messing around on the stove, a wooden spoon in one hand, a recipe book in the other. He was adorned in all of it's glory, with a 'Kiss The Chief' apron.

"Ah, good-afternoon Son. How was the match today? Did you win? How was your friends?" My father was always the type to question me with only more. I laughed, shaking my head as I hooked up my bag, "Eh. Didn't really matter this time, it felt boring at most," plucking off my shoes and packing my sword safely away - "But, it didn't change the fact I beat Ban Hammers ass!"

My father laughed, shaking his head. The sound of the muffled grumble. He knew Windforce was gonna rant about his son later in those meetings. "How come your cooking, old man?" I questioned.

"Well, we have a special guest over who is currently getting ready to come downstairs," A guest? Oh? It caught my interest! Maybe it's one of dads friends, or maybe it's my non-related-brother Meds!

I shook my head, sighing. "Well, can't be that much of an important guest that has got you cookin'? Who must it be-"

"Honey! I've finished getting ready, is your son nearly here? I'm a bit nervous to say the least, what if I look like an old grandma to him?" A voice broke through the air, as I stared at the now person, coated with a sense of fashion that could speak millions of languages to me. I was coaxed.

"Ah." I gulped. Throat dry.

"Dad.. Dad, who is that?" I asked, looking up at him. He turned as I could hear that smile across his face as he approached the person that had just entered the room. "Well, my son,"

I awaited for my answer.

"This, is my partner."

I was taken aback, trying to register everything before the wings beside my ears lifted, curling inwards as I looked at the person infront of me, told to be my father's partner.

"WHAT!"

I could only scream, only to stare. I took a breath. A deep breath. There was no need to make such a scene, but I didn't care at that point. "Dad! I never thought you could get bitches!"

"Watch that language!"

In the beginning, the PHIGHTING/SFOTH deities were “born”?? “Made”?? you guys debate vro. There are 7 of these deities (however there’s an extra I’ll get to that later) and the world known as the inpherno was made

The deities are known as firebrand, windforce, illumina, venomshank, ice dagger, darkheart and ghostwalker

there isn’t much about ancient history in the inpherno yet so. (CRACK THEORY INCOMING) But around ancient times the “overseer” made their “cult” which will be important to the present day lore later

now to blackrock lore which is the.. um.. it has a lot of lore. Blackrock about 30 years ago used to have Zuka as a recruit of the army (they didn’t have robots back then). Zuka w a s a mercenary in the blackrock army and was very well known in the nation “everyone knew him”. (CRACK THEORY) However, zuka’s arm was probably sliced off by illumina, because he currently does not have an arm and despises illumina. Zuka adopted rocket, likely during his mercenary era

Modern blackrock lore, subspace and medkit used to work together, they are both around 23 at this time. However, subspace wanted chaos and medkit wanted peace so they had beef with eachother and subspace ripped medkit eye out and im assuming medkit threw poison at him , that’s why subspace has rot. After that, medkit was called a traitor and is wanted (messed up I know) .

Medkit escaped blackrock after more to that later . After eye for an eye incident, subspace invented these robots called biografts which serve different purposes (soldiers, workers, etc) . Hyperlaser joined the blackrock faction too, and is a hired mercenary by blackrock, kinda like Zuka. Hyperlaser was involved in a serious injury at the battlefield maybe and lost his horns and has a damn lot of burns. (He wears a helmet know) and works with subspace.

Lost temple lore, church of the true eye (overseer’s cult) is mainly in this faction. The people in the cult we know about right now are scythe, medkit, the broker and the dollmaker. (CRACK THEORY) it’s likely that all of the members were forced or manipulated into the cult since they are all conscious they are doing wrong things. Especially medkit, who joined because he needed to escape blackrock.

Katana was also formerly part of the cult, however he left likely because of the corruption. The cult has a father like most cults, he isn’t revealed yet. To join the cult , you needed to have only one eye. You will either skip the “ritual” or get your eye ripped out and replace it with a glass eye. I am guessing they are doing this to sacrifice the eye to the Overseer. The cult also presumably kills other demons that are either chosen or interfered with the cult’s plans, they are probably also sacrifices. Most of the members of the church are highly wanted criminals, scythe being the most wanted since she’s a serial killer.

There isn’t much lore about playground other than the fact that skateboard is the leader of a skating gang in the faction. Rocket left the faction because of a certain playground group (hold up)

A bit same for theive’s den, but vinestaff has a curse that is slowly turning her into a tree. In about 300 years she will be fully tree.. The curse is kind of rare but not legendary since broker has seen that curse before. Shuriken got a call from the broker once, however he likely declined because katana isn’t dead yet. Katana is probably a bit worried about the thieves den twins because of the church of the true eye.

Hello phighting tag!!! If you saw there is two qna videos for phighting which includes some lore, now those videos combined are about 4 hours but my friend @hexyn went through the videos and compiled some of the most interesting bits of information

Everything will be under the cut

EVERYTHING THAT IS SAID IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE/POSSIBLY MISHEARD

- boss battle plans, everyone teamed up to defeat one big guy (probably ????? kind of????? already done considering the sfoth rounds)

- gacha system with zuka hosting a item store to buy crates for skins

- being able to buy stickers from zuka's store

- "storymode really roughly outlined/planned" said by soda and will pay their attention towards singleplayer storymode after they're done with multiplayer

- plans on adding chat titles next to your name

- dom and valk were apparently born into fame by their parents being very popular and them carrying their career

- allusions has a phighting map in their game

- more accesory npcs besides dom and valk coming soon

- rocket canonically being adopted by zuka

- valk and dom apparently sees the phighters as nothing but a faster way to make money and nothing else said by soda

- hyperlaser apparently has a mask under his helmet, not specified which one tho but its probably a joke answer

- in future updates, the skins will go away and would soon be added in zuka's shop

- possibly being able to visit other areas around the map (thieves den, playground, lost temple and blackrock)

- minigames getting added in crossroads such as fishing, etc

- apparently said by soda, blackrock are the heavily demonized people in the lore so far by her and the devs, "purposefully starting shit to piss others off"

- none of them can't eat spicy food besides hyperlaser

- crossroads, thieves den, playground, lost temple, blackrock etc all live in one big giant land and are separated by regions around the areas

- apparently the Inphinity is/or has an extremely large sentient entity outside of the phighting universe

- with the subspace and medkit situation, medkit wanted to help people with the crystals while subspace wants to cause chaos, the crystals in between their horns are from their own expirements, they both use the alternative energy source to wield their weapons

- all of the regions canonically hate eachother and all have different motives

- skins in game are described as non-canon alternate universes, just a excuse for skins and some in the future may be canon

- subspace was assigned to make biograft by blackrock's leader

- darkheart is (sort of) friends with venomshank, similar to the way you'd wave to someone you know across the street

- broker will give you daily challenges, and when completed he will tell you a bit of lore

- sfoth swords (excluding sword) are like deities in the inphinity

- banhammer was originally going to be a part of Blackrock, with many of the Blackrock figures knowing him; however, this was changed, and now he is factionless

- broker has been arrested for murder, manslaughter, and gear laundering (although no one said that he did the recent murders in crossroads, ofc still very bad and deserves to be imprisoned)

- The faction leaders will be playable characters, and the four will each be based off of overseer, darkage, korblox, and redfield/redcliff

- biografts do NOT wipe

- medkit found sword injured and nursed him back to health; the two eventually became friends as a result (this will probably be expanded on in the future)

- rocket can't swim and is in first place of playable characters that would most likely swear the most. The 2nd is subspace, and that's it. Note that rocket apparently gets it from zuka

- biograft does not truly hate everyone; they are simply a killing machine who shows no mercy to their enemies

- banhammer isn't blind, he just thinks he's so powerful he intentionally nerfs himself by blinding himself (he thinks it's funny)

- hyperlaser's face has never been revealed due to the idea him being a very mysterious character; they may reveal it in the far future, though it would ruin the mysteriousness

- soda plans to make ugc for Phighting (not lore related though notable to add)

- there are multiple biograft models such as zeta, epsilon, and beta (zeta is the orange one)

- regions may have genetics:

blackrock will have demons with fangs

lost temple will have big dudes (with "something with their eyes?" this was not expanded on)

thieves den will have markings on their body

they don't know what playground would be just "very very silly"

- phighters are created from a big fountain called "The Spawn"; the spawn pops out new people with their own gear these people are not born as babies, and they have a level of intelligence. after they are born, they are assigned a faction and shipped off to their respective location. If two people sacrifice their gear to the spawn, a biological child is formed; however, this is very uncommon as few are willing to sacrifice their gear

Okok so- Babbling a little to @cosmic-corporation about a faction swap au that I've been thinking of Playground: Scythe/Medkit/Sword Blackrock: Skateboard/Boombox/Rocket [Before becoming factionless] Thieves' Den: Subspace/Hyperlaser/Biograft Lost Temple: Katana/Vinestaff/Shuriken/Slingshot Like design wise it would be SO much fun to come up with little outfits n such for the phighters, although personality wise I feel like a couple wouldn't really change all that much!!! But I also love the idea of like- Playground Scythe almost having a sort of like- Big sister/wine aunt personality towards Medkit [And Playground Broker since he'd be included too]. Like yeah she's still sassy n whatnot, but she's a lot softer and a little less uh.... Criminal-like lmao. Meds and Sword? They still have that big brother/little brother relationship, Meds still went through a significant amount of trauma, but was able to cope with it better than his Blackrockian original. I can't say Sword changes too much. And for Katana, since he was originally from Lost Temple before escaping to Thieves' Den, I feel like he'd be in a position maybe similar to Scythe's [Vine and Shuri are prolly in the cult with him] [Sling would be in a position like Sword, living in LT but not in the cult] Blackrock Rocket prolly followed a similar path as Young Zuka. Blackrock Rocket losing two of his limbs and eventually dropping from the faction [Much to the dismay of BR!Skate and BR!Boom]. BR!Skateboard maybe being some kind of like... Soldier or something and BR!Boom could possibly be an engineer of some kind... TD!Subspace I like to think is more like... Magic than science, he's known for making poisons and such too. He used his magic to make Biografts out of various types of natural materials [Woods, stones, etc etc]. Haven't thought of anything for Hyper unfortunately. I am spitballin' here and I would genuinely love any comments or possibly ideas tossed at me. [Also hi Prism I apologize for this LONG ASS post please forgive me] - @simply-windy

I'm gonna go through all the phighters and headcanon if they drink tea or coffee.

Blackrock:

Hyperlaser: Drinks black coffee. Katana probably made him try some tea, but coffee is more familiar to him. Plus, Katana makes it with a proper kettle and tea cups, which intimidates Hyperlaser.

Biograft: Drinks oil.

Subspace: This guy does NOT drink tea. Unsure if he would have coffee, but if he did then probably with milk because it makes him more hyper than he already is.

Thieves den:

Slingshot: Drinks coffee, probably makes it for his cafe so he makes them with latte art!

Vine staff: Has tea! I'm thinking herbal, probably some kind of flavoured fruit tea?

Shuriken: Neither. Energy drinks.

Katana: Probably drinks tea the most. Has tried many, but prefers jasmine and green tea. Has a proper kettle and tea cups. Not too bothered if someone makes it with an electric kettle though, he's just happy to share the hobby. Has forgotten to tell Hyperlaser this.

Lost Temple:

Scythe: Both. Drinks tea to wind down at the end of the day.

Medkit: Needs coffee to survive. He has like, 5 cups a day. Black, full strength.

Sword: Neither.

Playground:

Boombox: Neither, he drinks alcohol.

Skateboard: Has an energy drink every once in a while. Not too often though! He cares about his health.

Neutral:

Rocket: Neither.

Banhammer: Black coffee once in the morning. Not a big fan of it, but you wouldn't catch him drinking it with milk.

Ok ok, here me out, I got this phighting au kind of thing, where the au is kinda like the cannon phighting universe. BUT there’s hidden factions hidden throughout the map, leading you to different factions, environments, species of demons with different blood types and blood colour, new creatures etc..

So like playground, blackrock, thieves den, and lost temple are the four factions that are the only ones that where discovered. So like for example, the “lost ural’s” is a hidden undiscovered faction that’s hiding in the black rock faction.

So like you know the tunnels that lead to the factions right? It’s kinda like that for the hidden factions but. They’re hidden, meaning you’d have to find them by pure luck.

And some factions like the “lost urals” can be inhabited by no one meaning it’s new territory with unknown secrets hidden beneath the soil, sometimes it can be a village, towns. Or just one person that inhabits these undiscovered factions.

(these undiscovered factions have not been found, or been documented. So it’s just a rumour)

And then there’s the fact that there’s different kinds of demons. (this is cannon, which is seen in ghostdeeri’s wiki) so it seems that different kinds of species of demons do exist.

And these hidden undiscovered factions have different species of demons (sorry that I’m repeating the same thing) and the different kinds of demons have different abilities, etc..

So the main categories for the types of demon species are:

- neutral demons (sword, rocket, skateboard, broker, katana, hyperlaser,boombox, and slingshot, zuka and the npc’s/civilians)

- Gaia demons- (Vinestaff, and ????)

- onkos demons- (banhammer, and ???)

- medicus demons- (medkit, along with Vinestaff, and amanita (another oc of mine)

- erpon demons- (scythe)

- fotia demons- (fireaxe)

-toxiko demons- (subspace)

- lava demons- (???)

- night dweller demons- (Krey)

- semi-aquatic demons- (torcher)

- pagos demons- (???)

- nightseer demons- (???)

-cannibal demons- (hacksaw) (another oc of mine)

- dweller demons- (????)

- hybrid demons- (????????)

- pharmakon demons- (???)

That’s just the tip of the iceberg.

Also this au have several undiscovered continents across the world with new demons, new creatures, and new factions. Etc..

Also I want to put in here that some demons (a small range) of demons can see ghosts.

And that pharmakon demons are demons with magic, that magic is limitless, like you can do anything with it (mind control, moving things etc..) but the cost of having pharmakon’s magic is that if you cast a spell on someone or something, it’ll tear a small piece of your soul or sanity away from you. Tho pharmakon demons are pretty rare, pharmakon magic is also genetic.

There are also demons that guard large crystals. These demons have their entire childhood, just guarding the crystals with their parents. Until becoming a guardian themselves.

These large crystals are hidden. Only three demons have documented these demons. But not much is known about the crystals.

I dunno, I’m still trying to sort this out, and make it a bit less complicated
