Hey can someone out there give me a general idea of how much the average person understands about space travel and transfer orbits? I am Struggling to determine how hard I need to go on the thing I'm working on
#Like will people notice if I don't sit down and calculate the launch window exactly and just kinda ball park it#Will people notice or#Also will it take you out of it if I make an entry module that doesn't necessarily generate lift#Long story but I need to land separate pieces of a lab on Mars and they're all fucking the least lift generating things you've ever seen rn#(in no small part bc I dead ass do not have experience designing things like that for an atmosphere that's that thin all the way down)#I CANNOT nail down this design bc I want to take what amounts to modules of a deep space station#And repurpose some of them for use as shelters and storage on the ground#But this whole thing is propelled by a nuclear rocket and like every time I do a burn I can't like#Have them all hanging off the main structure all weird I'm worried about vibrations and sheering forces
