"I'd rather watch Alonso play every game" - Loads of Chelsea fans lambast "frustrating" attacker

Chelsea fans were left frustrated with the performance of one man after their disappointing draw against Leicester on Sunday.

In particular, it was Willian who left many supporters angry as they limped to a solitary point against the Foxes during the late kick-off.

The Brazilian appeared as a substitute, playing 19 minutes but failed to have much of an impact on the encounter as he was berated mercilessly on Twitter.

One fan made reference to Yossi Benayoun, claiming the 31-year-old was even worse than the Israeli. Another said he was a waste of a player.

Willian’s decision-making was also focused on as that aspect of his game was labelled as quite bad whilst his passion was also questioned by one individual.

During his time on the pitch, Willian had one shot, struggling to keep the ball as he was only successful with 72.7% of his passes. He also found himself offside on one occasion too.

The Brazil international replaced Christian Pulisic with just under 20 minutes left but his display is unlikely to convince Frank Lampard too much.

Hopefully he is first out the door when the window re opens and Pedro following him in summer, Pedro is not as bad but would allow space for ideally Sancho but I’d take many young wingers to compete with Pulisic & CHO even Bailey didn’t have a great season but would be cheap
