We stood here akwardly, we still had 10 minutes to pass by until Math. So it was super akward as we glanced everywhere but each other.

A year went by, and I settled in pretty well. I ended up apologizing to them and now we're friends. Me and Bryan broke up because apparently he cheated on me right the day after I left. Wow. So yeah I was pissed and hurt when I found out, and cut it off through the phone.

They we're there to comfort me, as I just ended a 1 year relationship that I thought meant something to him. Apparently not.

And while doing that I ended up getting closer to Robin, and before you knew it, we got together. When my ex found out, he was pissed. He called me and started cussing me out as if he didn't cheat on me first. But yeah, Robin gave him a heads up, and he left me alone after that.

But nothing good lasts forever, Robin ended up getting taken by The Grabber. He didn't make it. And so I shut myself out after that.

I wouldn't go out of my room, only to the bathroom, I became depressed. My parents we're worried, everyone was worried. But all I wanted to do was to be with him. So I did what I thought was best...

And yeah... I reunited with him, leaving behind people who cared for me. I felt bad but at the same time I didn't care, all I cared about was him.

I knew I couldn't move on and pretend like nothing happened. So like I said... You know.

And yeah, years went by, people moved on, and we became a memory. But I didn't care, I was with him and that's what mattered to me.

It was hard the first few months, having to watch my family be destroyed, but I knew I couldn't go back. I watched over them, prayed to myself they would move on. Robin was here beside me the entire time. And after hard 2 years they we're okay again.

I smiled from behind them, finally happy they got over it. I grabbed Robin's hand, interlocking our fingers. And walked to the white light. To peace.

you definitely hadn’t expected robin arellano, your brother’s best friend, to be leaning casually against the counter, a soda can in hand, smirking like he owned the place.  

“couldn’t sleep either?” 

he asked, his voice low and teasing.  

you jumped slightly, your heart racing as you turned to face him. 

“robin! what are you even doing here? shouldn’t you be passed out in the living room or something?”
