I had this idea, because I was doing some crochet.
A reader who had made a lot of crochet stuff for all the X-MEN (most of it was requested from them to the reader) and Logan noticed everyone had something handmade except him. His bratty side kicks in and he wants something from the reader. (though the reader can make him a cardigan cause he is a grandpa or like a glove that has holes for his claws so he doesn't reap them apart) you can go feral with it 👀
Scott Summers, Kurt Wagner, Remy LeBeau, Robert “Bobby” Drake, Logan Howlett
Headcanons
Theres too many x-men, so I just,,,added my faves *blush blush* I also decided to write a little thing for everybody, like my CoD posts.
Crochet was your passion, something to do in your free time when mutant-kind wasn’t in danger. And with online shopping, it was so easy to get all the yarn and different hooks, patterns and recipes you might need.
So, of course you also feel the need to make stuff for all the people you care about. After filling your own room and wardrobe with all the stuff you could crochet, your yarn empire started to fill your friends closets and rooms too.
Scott Summers
For Scott you end up crocheting a couple of hats, and multiple pairs of gloves. Some you already had laying around, and just decided to throw into the pile.
What could you say? You were scared he was gonna freeze his ears when he went around in his visor. This meant you crocheted different hats depending on if he wore his visor or his shades, hats that wouldn’t get too in the way.
It was a little hard for Scott to be a leader in the colorful creations you made, but everyone knew it was just your way of showing you cared. So, it made sense for the leader of the team to get the first gifts.
After a while Scott will wear the things, you make even if it isn’t too cold outside, even working it into his everyday outfits if he needs a little bit of accessories. Sometimes a hat really helps with the look, you know?
Kurt Wagner
For Kurt you make a scarf. It was a crochet of the moment. You two were on a stakeout, which took way longer than planned, in a pretty cold place. So, you pulled out your crochet stuff and started going at it.
Before you knew it, there was a comfortable scarf in your hands. You had been smart enough to dress correctly for the mission, but Kurt hadn’t, so of course the scarf when around his neck. You may also have scolded him a bit for not dressing right for the mission.
Kurt absolutely loves the scarf, and will wear it whenever its even just a little chilly outside. It makes you want to make him even more, especially when he starts getting sad about the first one fraying apart.
In the end he has as many scarfs as Scott has hats. One for every weather, in different colors, so he can match them with whatever he’s wearing.
Remy LeBeau(and Anna Marie)
For Remy you end up making him a hoodie, in his usual colors. It had mainly been a spur of the moment creation on your end, since you just had a lot of yarn in that color laying around.
It hadn’t even really been made with Remy in mind, but our beloved Cajun was quick to swoop in and take it off your hands when you weren’t sure what to do with it. and you, just wanting to make stuff for others, are more than happy to let him.
He wouldn’t wear it every day, but you do see him snuggle up in the warm yarn hoodie whenever it starts to get chilly. Hes also more than happy to use it as an excuse to snuggle with Anna Marie, using it as some kind of silly flirt.
In the end you make Anna Marie a matching hoodie, making it a little too big for her, as well as making it the same colors as Remy, so they can switch hoodies whenever they want. Its kinda like getting to hug Remy, in a way, so Anna Marie enjoys it.
Robert “Bobby” Drake
You make Bobby a blanket, it’s as easy as that. You actually end up making him multiple blankets. You didn’t really have an understanding if his mutation made him even able to feel cold, or if it made him feel extra cold?
So, the first blanket was placed by the door to his room, since you didn’t wanna invade his privacy. Bobby may not feel cold, but he loves the blanket anyways, especially since you try your best to make it in his favorite colors, or featuring different stuff he likes.
Its actually Bobby that asks if you can make him a second blanket, since he needs to wash the first one and has gotten so used to having the heavy yarn blanket on top of his other blankets at night. And you, being the great person you are, immediately get to work.
He ends up with a bit of a collection of blankets over the years, though most of them stay in his closet since he can’t really use all of them at once. He does pull them out when the x-men are doing movie nights and stuff like that though.
Logan Howlett
It took a while for Logan to realize he was the only one who hadn’t been given anything you crocheted. And… He’s not mad obviously, why would he be, it’s just crochet. He’s maybe a little jealous though, somewhere under all that gruffness.
He wouldn’t say anything, Logans way too proud for that, but he does start hovering around a bit whenever you crochet, just to look… nothing else.
There are also of course some jokes from the others about how he hasn’t been given anything, so you must not like him, or it’s because he’s always coming and going as he pleases so he’s never there at the right time to swoop in for the kill (whatever you made).
Of course, he denies hating you, or wanting anything you make. But the jokes just reach you, and it horrifies you somewhat. What if Logan really thinks you hate him? That would be the worst, because of course you don’t. the only reason you hadn’t made anything for him was because he wasn’t in front of your face, and you were a little scatterbrained when you made stuff.
You didn’t want to be too obvious about your plans, so you try to subtly get his measurements, and just kinda go off of that. Luckily the x-men system has some stuff you can use noted down. In the end you make him a nice grey cardigan, with those big pockets on the sides. It does not go above your head that it’s the kinda stuff you’d see a grandpa wear. But you think he would like it anyway.
Logan finds the cardigan by his door, like you leave all your gifts. And no, he doesn’t jump up and down or cheer, but he does give a more positive sounding gruff noise than usual.
He may also have been preening just a little the next day when he wore it, just because it felt nice to be thought about, okay? Nothing else.
It also just makes you happy to see him enjoy it so much, so you end up making him some other stuff too. Who’d have thought he would love blankets and throwpillows so much. It ends up in his “not a nest” bed pile. He also enjoys the gloves with holes for his claws too, so they were worth all the hard work.

THE BEST WRITTEN SONGS OF ALL-TIME
Because I have zero innate musical ability, the idea that someone can sit down with a musical instrument, and create an original song out of thin air is magic to me. Songwriting is a craft, but it’s inspiration that makes a good song into a great one. There are songwriters who seem able to turn out high quality songs in perpetuity. There are others who write maybe one or two great songs, and are never heard from again. So, I made a list of what I think are the 50 best written songs I’ve ever heard. These are in no particular order. I’ve listed the title followed by the songwriter or songwriters, and in parentheses is the performer I most enjoy hearing do the song – although most of these songs have been recorded countless times by a variety of artists. You can probably find all of these on YouTube or any of the streaming services. Most have lyrics, but some do not. But, it’s hard for me to imagine any of these songs being recorded by anyone with talent, and not retaining the brilliance with which the song was written.

Astonishing X-men Hank! I’ve got a question for you. Given all the different titles that determines a mutants power one has remained the most confusing since it’s changed so many times. So…What’s an omega level mutant and what kind of power is considered to be in discussion for an omega level mutant?
"Ahhh, power level classification. A question that often comes up in briefings with the United Nations, S.H.I.E.LD, S.W.O.R.D, any other number of cutely named alphabet agencies. Well, it's an interesting topic, especially since there is, despite what people might tell you, no formal measure for Omega level power."
"Omega, being the final Greek letter and colloquially known as, the end, represents unlimited potential in a mutant power. Conceivably, given enough time and practice and honing of control, an Omega level mutant would be capable of any feat within the given realm of their power.
For example, take one Robert Louis Drake.
. . . No, please, take him, I've been trying to get rid of him for years."
"Bobby's power is cryokinesis, the ability to create and manipulate ice, as well as alter levels of temperature. On the face of it, this manifested as simple abilities - the creation of snowballs out of the moisture present in the air. But there is a significant difference between the power to create snowballs, and the power of cryokinesis, of course.
Bobby didn't know that he could do more than create snow and ice - he didn't know that he could turn into snow and ice, becoming a form of organic ice with a centralised psychic consciousness attached to it. He didn't know that he could control water, itself just a different molecular state of snow and ice, so minutely that he could travel through water as easily as an electron flows through a circuit.
So on, so forth.
Unlimited potential.
The only limit was his imagination. His control. His emotional state. Not power. This is what defines an Omega level mutant."
"So, what level of power is required? As I said, there's no rating, no level. No midichlorian count (thank you, George). Merely the feats to match. Polaris and Magneto, for instance, share almost identical power sets, but Erik is considered an Omega level magnetokinetic, Lorna is not, simply because she's young and she hasn't had occasion to push her powers in quite the same way Erik has.
Is she an Omega level mutant? Not right now, but conceivably. The power set is the same, but the power itself? She won't know until she tries. I hope that she never needs to try and hit that level, because as I understand it, Erik's greatest feats have often come at great physical and mental cost to himself, and I don't wish that for Lorna, but it could be well within her potential.
I've been working on ways to measure both current power and potential power, but it's slow work, and not an exact science. Even decades on, there's still so much we don't know about mutation - secondary mutation, for instance, is still being studied."
He smiled a little morosely at that.
"But, I would advise caution against assuming that Alpha and Beta level mutants are slouches. Cyclops and Havok, for instance, are considered Alpha level mutants, and, to put it succinctly, I wouldn't like to be on the receiving end of either of their blasts - would you? Fine control, precision, ingenuity, tactical thinking - all of these things can allow an Alpha level mutant to perform at an Omega level, so to speak.
Power, as so often is the case, isn't everything."

talk that talk // @clochanam
khione does her best thinking when she's in her element. when she's working on a sculpture or when she's on the ice. so it comes as a surprise to absolutely no one that, when the fiachra investigation hits a snag, she retreats to one of the few places she feels most comfortable: an ice rink.
it's lucky, khione thinks, that she's got it all to herself when she needs it the most.
as paradise fears' battle scars blares through her phone, khione goes through the facts in her mind one more time:
one) fiachra's attacked everyone twice a month ever since they moved here. he schedules it and toys with aisling in the meantime. since november, they should've had at least five visits. they had none.
two) there is footage of him and fiachra and aisling on november second. in it, he looked angry. very much so. then aisling said something. and whatever she said scared fiachra. which was what confused aisling, or so khione assumes.
three) there is another month of footage to comb through.
and four) sanji's theory is that fiachra just went back to ireland.
she's missing something.
she's missing someone.
well, multiple someone's.
khione is missing will, and zach, and magenta, and ethan, and layla, and warren. she's missing her cornerstones. she's missing the people who make it all worth it.
and she's missing aisling too. aisling, who quickly became one of khione's cornerstones too. aisling, who saw the ice cold home khione came from and immediately set about changing all of that.
sure, aisling seems to splits her time between ireland and new york but even when she's home, it feels like she's not really there because she's got other things on her mind.
and who could fault her for that? there's so much happening at once.
she keeps coming back to one piece of information. one thing that sticks out: fiachra's attacked everyone twice a month ever since they moved here. he schedules it and toys with aisling in the meantime. since november, they should've had at least five visits. they had none.
she's just finished a camel spin and has a tentative theory worked out when a voice calls out: "that, my dear, is impressive." khione looks up and when she does, she almost wipes out, because the person talking to her - to her! - is robert "bobby" drake.
it's iceman!
freaking iceman!
"th-thank you, sir." somehow, khione manages to get the words out, proud of herself for not messing that up. alas, one does not remain composed in the presence of greatness. at least, khione doesn't.
bobby has the good grace to allow her to skate towards the wall before he speaks again.
"you're one of aisling's new kids, right? it's ice to meet you."
"you're---you, how do you...i mean---" clearing her throat, khione nods. and then nods again. she takes a deep breath through her nose, holds it in for four seconds, and then releases it through her mouth. "yes, yes i am, sir. is this really happening, though, or did i wipe out? i mean, who's to say this isn't all a figment of my very active imagination while i'm bleeding out on the ice, right?"
it is only then that his pun registers and she chuckles briefly as she tells bobby that it's ice to meet him too.
"just bobby will do," he says with a laugh, "sir makes me feel old. and i can assure you that this is real and that you're not bleeding out on the ice."
"well, you don't look a day over... over."
"you don't look a day over over, either, kiddo."
khione gives him a warm smile. this entire interaction is reinforcing just why he's always been her favorite x-men. (well, he and storm, obviously.) "if it's okay for me to ask: what are you doing here? and, also, how do you know aisling?"
"i'm looking for a pyro. and at this point, almost everyone does. the diner's well known. the professor always wanted to visit. preferably on a day that the avengers aren't there. by the way, it's a good thing she's doing, taking in kids who need it."
"yeah," khione agrees quietly, deciding to ignore the jibe at the avengers, "some days i still can't believe it. that she saw me and was like: let me open up my home. despite the fact that i'm, well---i'm not a cakewalk."
"i'll let you in on a secret, kiddo. none of us are."
the conversation turns from their powers back to aisling and khione tells bobby about the challenges of decorating her new bedroom. yet his words get stuck on a loop in her brain: i'm looking for a pyro. i'm looking for a pyro. i'm looking for a pyro. i'm looking for---
"warren," she whispers, more to herself than to him.
"what?" bobby says, "no. i'm looking for allerdyce, john allerdyce, not worthington."
"who? i was talking about warren peace."
then the pieces finally fall into place for bobby. "baron battle's son?"
"hey! you were in a relationship with simon lasker and you just said so yourself that you're looking for mr allerdyce! and also, warren - my warren, well, not mine, because he's his own person - is good. he's a good person."
"chill out, kiddo." a genuine smile blooms on bobby's features. "i hold with those who favor fire too." he reaches into his pocket and extracts a card. "i know that your parents originally wanted to send you to xavier's but that you went to sky high and sky u instead. if things ever become too much - if you ever need to cool off, just give me a call. i haven't had a protegé in a while. and i think there's a lot i can teach you. as well as the other way around."
"you..." khione whispers. "...you want me as your protegé?"
bobby nods and khione does her best not to break down on the spot.
"man," he says, "aisling's right, you really are adorable. see you around, kiddo. keep working on that camel spin." he's gone before she can thank him.
khione releases a shuddering breath. then she wipes her tears, sniffles, and gets off the ice.
she knows what she has to do now.
[text to flameo hotman: hey, it's me, i miss you. also, time sensitive question: do you think you can track someone down through their heat signature? new york is great and my new family is great too, but i may or may not have landed myself into a situation that requires your very specific skillset, and also, i miss you.]

Aurora Allerdyce | Phenomenon
Aurora Allerdyce is an Indigenous Canadian mutant with the ability to harness cosmic energy into elemental abilities. At the moment, she is only able to use fire and ice based powers.
She is the adopted daughter of Robert Louis 'Bobby' Allerdyce (Iceman) and St John Allerdyce (Pyro). She attends classes at the X-Mansion when she is not with her team X-Genesis.
APPEARANCE
Imagine there are two braids in her hair, one held together by red ribbon and the other held by a light blue ribbon.
Everytime Aurora masters a new element she gains another braid in her hair held together by the color that represents that power.
PERSONALITY
Aurora Allerdyce is a very laid back gal with a carefree attitude and a cheerful disposition. She is the glue keeping X-Genesis together, which is why enemies seem to target her when targeting the team psychologically.
Despite being classified as an omega-level mutant, she doesn't really have any interest in pursuing beyond her current skill level. Though circumstances typically force her to achieve beyond what she has learned.
BIOGRAPHY
Aurora Allerdyce was born in Canada, and early on in her life she awoke her mutant gene. This caught the attention of the Sentinels, which Wolverine saved her from but not in time to save her parents as well. Aurora was brought to the X-Mansion, and the mutants did the best to raise her along with the other younger mutants.
One day, Bobby Drake and St John Allerdyce were visiting with their sons Jason and Simon Allerdyce when they met Aurora. The two were quite entertained by the young girl, but it frighten everyone when she displayed her mutant gene for the first time by controlling the two men's mutant powers on her own.
It was unspoken among everyone that Aurora was to be officially adopted by the two, and Aurora joined the Allerdyce household soon afterwards.
The rest of her childhood was absolute chaotic as being raised by a hero and villain would be. Aurora was babysat by a variety of allies and enemies, and was enamored with each of them despite their standing with the law.
At some point, her older brothers Jason and Simon Allerdyce joined the second formation of the Brotherhood of Mutants called the Fellowship of Mutants.
Aurora Allerdyce was recruited later on by Rachel Grey-Summers to join a new team called X-Genesis along with other mutants her age. Aurora accepted and started to go by the alias Phenomenon.
The team eventually started to fracture when their longtime leader Rachel Grey-Summers left. The team was taken over by Rebecca Bella LeBeau (Ray) after an adventure down south.
On a mission, the team faced a new mutant villian who was able to read the relationships between team. The villain decided to pick off Aurora Allerdyce due to her being the one to hold the team together in their fractured state.
Aurora Allerdyce and the villain watched the team fracture even further as the villain psychologically taunted them. Aurora observed it all, becoming more and more sad as they watched and being visibly downtrodden when the team finally managed to free her.
It was obvious to X-Genesis that Aurora wasn't the same after she had been captured. She started to display tendencies to placate the peace, and developed claustrophobia. In a culmination of this pressure, one night she left and joined her brothers by defecting to the Fellowship of Mutants.
While a part of the Fellowship of Mutants, Aurora awoke her ability of hydrokinesis and trained to control it with the Fellowship of Mutants leader Naiad (Lena Petrakis).
Aurora Allerdyce didn't leave the Fellowship of Mutants until Naiad recruited the villain that caused her defection. The villain, Vibe, sensed Aurora's impending departure and tried to convince her to stay but in a panic Aurora sent Vibe back with a blow of wind.
Aurora was rescued by her former teammate Prince Azari Munroe (Azul Jaguar) who had managed to piece the pieces together and went after Aurora. After leaving the situation, instead of taking Aurora back to X-Genesis he took her and her developing powers to Wakanda.
In Wakanda, Aurora was taught by the royal family how to control her weather based powers and developed electrokinesis along the way. She attended therapy, and worked through her imprisonment with Wakandian doctors.
Over time, she became closer with Azari and the two even shared a kiss. The two immediately regret the actions and decide they are better off as friends. Azari packs to return to X-Genesis, and asks Aurora for her plans. Aurora tells him to tell the rest of the team she officially quits, and she'll find something else to do.

One Day (Spencer Reid x reader!)
Description:A Spencer Reid request :) How about reader is an agent with the bau and is best friends with Reid but when he comes up to the team with the case about Maeve reader gets super upset and doesn’t wanna help because she hurt that Reid kept it from her and when Garcia comes to ask her what’s wrong you confess that you’ve loved Reid since you got on the team.
Spencer Reid x Fem!reader!
Warnings: Death, Violence, Guns. If you’ve watched the episode you know what to expect!
Spencer Reid had this approachability aspect about him, he rarely turned anyone down for a conversation and was always up for spitting out the most odd facts. He had is moments of what seemed like doubt in his mind, as if he wasn’t good enough but it took someone to remind him how special he really was to bring back the normal Spencer.
As you sat in the bullpin that morning talking with Morgan your legs resting against his desk and you sipped on some coffee awaiting news of a new case you saw Spencer enter. ‘’Hey Spenc!’’ You call out to him like you every morning, but he didn’t stop he walked straight into Hotch’s office standing in the doorway for a short moment and you could see through the blinds Hotch address him. You glance over to Morgan who was looked just as concerned as you felt, ‘’Did he say anything to you?’’ You ask but Morgan shakes his head glancing back to the doorway of Hotch’s office. Spencer walks in a little further and the door shuts completely allowing them only more privacy.
‘‘Must be serious,’‘ Morgan points out to you.
The past couple of months you could tell were hard on Spencer, he finally reached out to the geneticist about his headaches, but he also just seemed more on edge. You two lived in the same building and would typically carpool to work together in the mornings but within the past couple of months that changed. You would go to Spencers’ door in the morning just before heading to work but there was no answer, when heading out to your own car his was already gone. By the time you arrived to the office Spencer would still show up after you, you had no idea what or where he was going.
‘’Must be,’’ You reply back taking another sip of your coffee.
An hour later Hotch called you all together, you sat at Morgans desk still surrounded by the rest of the team. Spencer stood in the back a nervous look spread across his face, you exchange glances with the rest of the team and notice they all seemed on edge as to what this was about as well. When Hotch finally begin to explain what was happening it all made sense, and the realization hit you like a ton of bricks. The man you were blindly in love with was himself blindly in love with someone else.
‘‘Reid is just as much involved in the victimology as Maeve, we consider him apart of the case as well.’‘ Hotch points out, he gestures to Spencer who steps forward slightly.
His head was slightly bowed forward, his shoulders curved forward as if he was drained, ‘’He thinks he’ll get away with this, and he might.’’ He finally says. He takes a breath for a moment, his head seemed a mess; This was not the same Spencer who seemed to always have words this was a broken man in front of you. ‘’I have a wealth of knowledge I should be applying to this case. Behavioral patters of violent stalkers, tactical recovery strategies, victim survival odds. But right now I can’t focus on anything,’’ He painfully admits. ‘’Right now I can’t focus on anything for more than four seconds at a time, which makes me the dumbest person in the room.’’
You watch him as he stood so broken in front of you, so fragile and unsure of what was to come. And for just a second you hated yourself, because you felt a wave of anger, jealousy and more come over you while he was speaking. Spencer was your best friend he knew all the small details of your life and up until and hour ago you could say the same.
‘‘So please help me.’‘ You glance up at him at those words, the pleading cry not only evident in his word choice but in his voice ‘‘Hel-Help me find her.’‘ He stutters.
Along with the rest of the team you stay silent all in shock by what was just admitted, this team was a family and you could only imagine what the rest were feeling at this sudden what seemed like a secret that had just come to light. ‘’We don’t know if we have a case.’’ Hotch mentions. ‘’So we’ll be working on personal time,’’ You all nod your head simultaneously understanding what he was saying. ‘’Does anybody want to leave?’’ Hotch ask, you felt a pair of eyes on you at that moment and you glance up meeting Penelope’s gaze. You quickly look back to Spencer not saying a word. ‘’Good, lets get to work.’’ He says.
After going over some of the more basic information with the rest of the team you all head your separate ways to investigate more thoroughly, JJ and Morgan headed to Maeve’s apartment. Drake and Rossi headed to her work and Reid and Hotch to interview her parents, you went with Garcia to do some more background information on Maeve’s past records to get as much information as you could. You felt your phone buzz from your pocket pulling it out reading over the text from Hotch.
Maeve had a Fiance, Bobby. See what you can find.
You read over the text feeling a mix of anger toward the new information, did Spencer know this? ‘’See if we can find anyone under the name Bobby, but expand it to Robert, Bobby is most likely just what people call him.’’ You tell Garcia and you immediately hear her fingers tapping against the keyboard.
‘‘I can’t believe this,’‘ She tells you, ‘‘Poor Reid.’‘ She mentions.
‘‘Yeah,’‘ You sigh, ‘‘Poor Reid.”
Her typing slows down and you see her glance at you from the side, ‘’You know I may not be a profiler but I can tell something’s off with you.’’ She mentions taking her hands away from the keyboard. ‘’What’s wrong angel?’’ She asks you.
You sigh realizing you were caught, knowing how pushy Garcia could be when she needed to be it was going to come out eventually. ‘’Okay, you know I only joined the team like a year and a half ago..’’ You start off. ‘’Of course I love everyone on this team and consider you all family, but Spencer is different.’’ You mention to her noticing her eyebrows shoot up, ‘’Spencer and me we just hit it off immediately, I feel calm when he’s around, I feel as if I can be myself around him and he never judges me. We live next to each other, we carpool, Spencer is like a brother to me just like Morgan is and how you and JJ are like my sisters.’’ You mention and her face looks a little more confused at this point, ‘’But Spenc..He’s just... He’s not like a brother because-’’ You start to say but the realization hits Garcias face and she finishes for you.
‘‘Because you’re in love with him..’‘ She says. Your lips tighten into a thin smile.
‘‘Bingo,’‘ You tell her. ‘‘He doesn’t know so I have no right to be anything about this whole situation. But he didn’t tell me?’‘ You say your voice laced with hurt. If anything Spencer not telling you hurt the most.
‘‘Do you think he’s ever picked up on the fact that you- you know love him?’‘ She asks.
‘‘I don’t think so.. I don’t exactly make it obvious.’‘ You point out. ‘‘Even if I did Spenc isn’t the best at picking up on things like that,’‘ You say letting out a nervous laugh. ‘‘Is it obvious?’‘ You ask her.
‘‘No, I would’ve never guess if I hadn’t seen your face today when he was talking.’‘ She tells you and you felt an instant relief, the last thing you needed or wanted was the rest of the team knowing that you were indubitably in love with Spencer. ‘’I’m sorry,’’ She says simply.
You sigh, ‘’If Maeve is what makes him happy-’’ You pause, ‘’Then I’m gonna do everything I possibly can to help find her.’’ You tell her. ‘’I can’t let my emotions get in the way.’’ You say more to yourself rather than Garcia.
‘‘Y/N-’‘ She begins to say but is cut off by Hotch entering the room.
‘‘Anything on Bobby?’‘ He asks glancing between the two of you. ‘‘Everything alright?’‘ He asks sounding skeptical.
‘‘Fine sir,’‘ You say back to him. Garcia quickly gets back to typing pulling up any Roberts in contact with Maeve.
‘‘I have a hit on a Robert Putnam, I’m sending his address to everyone now,’‘ Garcia says.
‘‘Come on Y/N, we could use you there.’‘ Hotch says. Garcia gives you a sympathetic smile as you stand up from the chair and following Hotch.
A short ride later you had arrived at Bobby Putnams house, a short dark haired woman answered the door her face showed a look of confusion but not shock. ‘’Who?’’ She asks simply.
‘‘We’re looking for Robert Putnam.’‘ Rossi says lowering his ID. ‘’Do you know where he is?’’
‘‘He’s in the back,’‘ She says widening the door slightly. Morgan enters in first followed by the rest of you and you glance around the apartment as soon as you entered.
‘‘And who are you?’‘ You hear Hotch ask.
‘‘I’m Diane, his girlfriend.’‘ She says.
You heard the sound of footsteps come from another area of the apartment and you glance up seeing Robert Putnam finally make his appearance, ‘’Hey sweetheart, who is it?’’ He ask.
‘‘Robert Putnam we’d like to-’‘ Spencer begins to say but stops mid sentence when he finally gets to look at the man. You look back to Robert noticing that he also had a look of familiarity on his face as he saw Spencer.
Hotch turns to Spencer, ‘’Out.’’ He says simply. ‘’Out,’’ He says now moving Spencer as he stood still looking straight at Robert. You glance at Morgan and you hear Spencers voice just as the door slams shut.
‘‘What’s going on?’‘ You hear the girl Diane ask.
‘‘We just want to ask a few questions,’‘ You say to her but look at Robert.
‘‘About?’‘ Robert ask.
‘‘Maeve Donovan.’‘ You tell him, you watch Diana turn to him but you were unable to see her face.
Hotch enters in the room again after only a few moments outside, he didn’t seem to happy. ‘’Agent Rossi and I would just like to ask a few questions,’’ You hear Hotch say as he comes to your side. You realize now that it was him subtly telling you to leave the room. You didn’t need to be told twice so you head out into the hallway noticing Spencer.
‘‘Hey,’‘ You say to him your voice low and careful unsure of what exactly to say to him. ‘’What was that in there?’’ You ask him.
‘‘I was suppose to meet Maeve at a restaurant a few weeks ago, when I got there I caught him looking at me and I thought he was her stalker.’‘ He tells you.
‘‘Spenc..’‘ You sigh. ‘‘You should’ve told us, if he is the unsub-’‘ You begin to point out but he cuts you off.
‘‘I know I’m a material witness,’‘ He says finishing your sentence.
‘‘I’m sorry Spenc I didn’t mean to-’‘ You begin but he cuts you off again.
‘‘It’s fine,’‘ He says but his voice sounds anything but fine. ‘’I need some air,’‘ He says shaking his head, he walks past you quickly brushing your shoulder and you stand there unsure of what to say, you watch him walk down the rest of the hallway and then into the stairwell.
You shove your hand in your jacket pockets rolling your head back, Morgan walks out the door noticing your behavior. ‘’You alright?’’ He asks.
‘‘You ever feel like no matter what you say you’re only making things worse?’‘ You ask him.
He smiles at you graciously, ‘’You’re helping, just give him some time.’’ He tells you. ‘’I’m gonna go check on him,’’ He says taking his hand and giving your arm a comforting squeeze.
_____________
Me for Her
That is what Reid said, and now he was delivering his promise. You stood outside watching the door close and he walk in unarmed with no vest, all you could do was wait but for what you were unsure.
‘‘We can’t go in?’’ You ask Hotch feeling your body drenched with adrenaline at the thought of Spencer inside. ‘‘What if he needs us?’‘ You ask.
‘‘If we go in she could kill them both, we can’t risk it unless we hear something.’‘ Hotch tells you.
‘‘Like what a bullet going into Spencers chest?’‘ You say carelessly earning a look from not only Hotch but the rest of the team as well, ‘‘I’m sorry.’‘ You say shaking your head.
So you waited and waited, it felt like hours sitting at the door waiting for something to happen.
And then it did.
A shot, before you knew it you were rushing in the door your weapon raised. Spencer was on the floor muttering, ‘’Stay back! Stay back, Stay back!’’ He kept repeating pushing himself up from the floor. You move to the far right side of him your weapon raised. Diane had a gun held to Maeves head.
‘‘Diane there is still a way out of this,’‘ Spencer tells her. ‘’I offered you a deal and you can still take it, me for her. Let me take her place.’’ He says, you never take your hand off the trigger just hovering it, you stare straight at Diane knowing this was not going to end well.
‘‘You would do that? You would kill yourself for her?’‘ Diane asks tears running down her face.
‘‘Yes,’‘ Spencer answers without a second of hesitation.
Diane doesn’t say anything but you hear Maeve speak just above a whisper, ‘’Thomas Merton,’’ She says,
‘‘Who’s Thomas Merton?’‘ Diane asked her voice uneven and broken.
‘‘He knows,’‘ Maeve says speaking up. ‘‘He knows,’‘ She says her entire demeanor calming down as Diane keeps questioning who Thomas Merton is. ‘‘He’s the one thing you can never take from us. ‘‘ She says staring straight at Spencer.
Diane thinks for just a split second before taking the gun right up to her temple, ‘’No.’’ She says.
Just as the gunshot goes off you hear Spencer cry out, ‘’Wait!’’ He yells. But it was too late, the gun goes off and its defining. You stare at the scene before you unsure of any thoughts in your head as you lower your weapon. You felt the tears streaming down your face as you glance over Spencer falling to his knees. You close your eyes tightly trying to hold them back, but it didn’t help. The only sound in the room besides the ringing in your ear was the soft sobs coming from Spencer.
____________
A week later you were leaving for a new case, you had just gotten the call about the conference. You heard two familiar voices outside and you shake your head knowing the piles upon piles of things Garcia had already left was only being added to. You step out of your apartment both of them glancing over you a look of sorrow on their face. ‘’He’s not gonna answer,’’ You tell them.
Garcia looks at you her own eyes looking tearful, ‘’Nothing?’’ She asks only at a whisper.
‘‘How many of those baskets are yours?’‘ You ask her skeptically, ‘’Are they all yours?’’ You ask.
‘‘Maybe,’‘ She says sheepishly.
‘‘Whats in that one?’‘ JJ ask. You turn around while Garcia informs JJ on the importance of nuts and seeds on metabolism and lock your door. When you finally make your way over to them JJ speaks up, ‘’Spenc we just wanna know if your alright in there,’’ She says but gets no reply.
‘‘Knock twice if your conscious,’‘ Garcia calls out earning two knocks. ‘‘Is he ever gonna be okay?’‘ She asks to no one in particular.
‘‘One day,’‘ You say loud enough for him to hear. ‘’Come on we should get to work,’’ JJ says walking toward the steps, you wait a few seconds letting them ahead before you reach into your bag and grabbing out a copy of A Long Way Down by Nick Hornby.
‘‘One day, Spenc.’‘ You say just loud enough for him to hear. ‘‘Doesn’t have to be today.’‘ You say.
You begin walking toward the stairs and you see Penelope waiting for you at the bottom of them a smile on her face directed toward you. You take yourself down the stairs step by step finally making it to her, ‘’Come on,’’ You say offering her a smile.

Holy WarGames Batman!
You can never say that you don’t get your money’s worth when it comes to a NXT:TakeOver PPV and WarGames was no exception!
Whether it be Io Shirai flying off the top of the cage with a garbage can over her head or Pat McAfee doing a swanton bomb from the heavens, this one was another classic from NXT. Plus, Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher put together one brutal war for themselves too. Johnny Gargano became the first 3-time North American Champion, uncovering his new Scream partner in Austin Theory. You know it’s a really good PPV when an above average strap match between Dexter Lumis and Cameron Grimes is probably the low man on the totem pole. Grimes continues to get better each and every week with his versatility and strange personality. He reminds me of a bigger Buzz Sawyer.
Injuries? Sure, got them too! Candice LeRae’s broken wrist and Gargano’s split mouth complete with stitches top the charts.
At the end of the day, Raquel Gonzalez gets elevated into the NXT Women’s Championship picture by pinning Shirai. The Undisputed Era remain kings of the WarGames cage. McAfee proves he’s one tough SOB too!
In the end, WarGames is your Star of the Week!

— WWE (@WWE) December 8, 2020
The Hardy Bros? Hilarious! Riddle’s growing on me. His in-ring work is unquestioned. His antics outside it are becoming funnier each week.
The only RECKONING in RETRIBUTION should be taking the masks off and clearing them of the silly names. It’s Mia Yim. It’s Mia Yim. It’s Mia Yim already!
And like that, business is back in motion! @CedricAlexander picks up the win, and leaves #TheNewDay with a statement. #WWERaw pic.twitter.com/tCPwbwufIJ
— WWE (@WWE) December 8, 2020
Cedric Alexander is playing The Hurt Business perfectly. He’s a main event player and is proving it each and every week with back-to-back singles victories over The New Day. How long is it before he says I want a shot at Bobby Lashley’s US Title too?
Is it me or are we headed for a screwjob by The Miz and Morrison on AJ Styles in his upcoming WWE Championship match with Drew McIntyre? Just a gut feeling here.
Things have EXPLODED backstage between @DMcIntyreWWE & @WWESheamus on #WWERaw!!! … Or have they? pic.twitter.com/Kkvj1NBR6N
— WWE (@WWE) December 8, 2020
Having Drew McIntyre and Sheamus fight it out in the back after an inadvertent brogue kick to the WWE Champion led to a loss in the ring was beautiful. Fight each other. Beat up an unsuspecting bystander. Go get a pint.
Really missed Alexa Bliss this week. Sure, Bray Wyatt, it’s for her own safety. But it’s definitely not as much fun without Miss Bliss.

Didn’t love the no-contest ending with Wyatt and Randy Orton. We get it, The Fiend is different but the ending just fell flat for me.

It’s a week of returns for NXT. And that’s bad news (sorry Wade Barrett) for the men’s roster as Karrion Kross leads the list of returning superstars. I give credit to Damian Priest for stepping up to the challenge, but that’s a challenge with Kross and Scarlett that he’s going to lose. Kross and his NXT Championship that he gave up due to injury will meet again soon I’m sure.
Back too is Drake Maverick, Malcolm Bivens with Tyler Rust, Isaiah “Swerve” Scott, Austin Theory and the NXT Champion Finn Balor. It remains to be seen who will face Balor at New Year’s Evil on January 6th, but it seems everyone from Pete Dunne to Kross to Priest to a whole host of others are in the mix.
“The Way” in-ring promo just went on too long and was too forced I thought. Theory and Indie Hartwell just felt like 3rd and 4th wheels out there as they just can’t match LeRae and Gargano on the mic.

— WWE (@WWE) December 10, 2020
Raquel Gonzalez looks the part of a big-time player and is finding her way into the spotlight. Funny that just one year ago, we were saying the same things about Rhea Ripley and then the pandemic hit. I’m not sure if Gonzalez is ready for the NXT Women’s Title just yet, but it would be intriguing to see her as champ and how LeRae would react to it.

Suddenly, the tag team division is very competive and we haven’t seen Breezango lately. Kudos to the Grizzled Young Veterans and Imperium for stepping it up a notch.

— WWE on FOX (@WWEonFOX) December 12, 2020
Loved that the contract signing between Sasha Banks and Carmella to open the show DIDN’T take place in the ring. Something a little different was a bit refreshing having Carmella backstage. Plus, we get a main event title match out of it too! Poor Sommelier!
No surprise that we’re getting a tag team title defense for The Street Profits against Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode after Ziggler pinned Montez Ford Friday night. Good match to advance the feud and set up the title match coming up this Friday night.
Hated the countout victory by Sami Zayn over Big E in a non-title Intercontinental Championship Match. It did nothing for either guy. I like Zayn but here’s hoping this is the start of something big for Big E, pun intended. If you’re going to break him away from The New Day, there has to be a point. First, the I-C Title? Then, maybe a challenge for the Universal Championship down the road too?

Kevin Owens vs. Roman Reigns is going to be one insane TLC match. Owens promo was one of his best. Surrounded by his “friends” chair, table and ladder, KO hit hard on his family and just how good Reigns is but that he still vows to get back his Universal Championship. Reigns is so good, just being backstage looking so smug while Jey Uso attacks Owens is priceless. Having Paul Heyman remind him that everything is done on his time instead of running into the ring to fight KO reminds us that less is more. Then, it all turns personal when Reigns finds Owens in the back, beats him down and reminds the Owens family that he’s the one that puts food on the table and that he could take it off theirs. Delicious and well placed right in the middle of the show while the ladies take the main event.
Natalya & Billie Kay. What a waste! We will, though, take a Riott Squad victory anytime we can get it.
Chad Gable is sounding more and more like Kurt Angle and I dig it! I’m hoping Otis is not the only one to join Gable’s training group. Not a bad first pairing either, even in defeat to Cesaro & Shinsuke Nakamura.

Carmella’s entrance – absolute smoke show! WOW! The trash talk during the match brought back a little old school feel to it. Carmella was pretty good before but she’s taking it to another level with this latest reincarnation. That was a really good match before the DQ ending. The WWE is relying too much on the DQ finish these days. The aftermath of the match – OMG! Smashing bottles over Banks while sipping champagne – very heelish! Looks like we’ll get round 2 at TLC as scheduled.

SmackDown hands down with the best show of the week!
Parting shots:
Having the WWE ThunderDome travel from Orlando to Tampa had little effect on SmackDown. Moving from the basketball arena to the spacious home of the Tampa Bay Rays, I thought the WWE would use some of that space to its advantage. There may be more screens, but maybe down the road we’ll see some additions but it’s first show in Tampa didn’t look a whole lot different than the last show in Orlando.
TLC PPV – Updated Card
WWE Championship: Drew McIntyre vs. AJ Styles
Universal Championship TLC Match: Roman Reigns vs. Kevin Owens
SmackDown Women’s Championship Match: Sasha Banks vs. Carmella
The Fiend vs. Randy Orton
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship: Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler vs. Asuka & Lana
RAW Tag Team Championship Match: The New Day vs. Cedric Alexander & Shelton Benjamin
Coming up this week:
RAW: Firefly Fun House at WWE ThunderDome
NXT: KUSHIDA & Leon Ruff vs. Johnny Gargano & Austin Theory
SMACKDOWN (on FS1): SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match: The Street Profits vs. Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode Bianca Belair vs. Bayley

“We take care of each other, right?” you asked. He pushed a strand of hair behind your ear.
“I will never let them get you.” Bobby kissed your forehead. “This plan is going to work. It has to.”
“If we lose,” you said, and didn’t let him stop you. “I want you to know how much I love you. And I am 100% with you tonight. This is the right decision, even if we don’t win.”
“My biggest fear is that we go back to a time that you don’t love me,” he said. “To a time where...”
“If that’s the case - then just know how much I love you now.”

Beyoncé and Taylor Swift make Grammy history: Full winner list
Beyoncé has set a new record at the Grammy Awards with her 28th win, the BBC reports.
The star is now the most-awarded woman in Grammys history, overtaking bluegrass singer Alison Krauss.
“I am so honoured, I’m so excited,” she said while accepting her record-breaking trophy, for best R&B performance.
Taylor Swift also made history at Sunday’s ceremony, by becoming the first female artist ever to win album of the year three times.
The star was rewarded for her lockdown album Folklore – after previously winning with Fearless in 2010 and the pop opus 1989 in 2016.
Only three other artists have ever won the album of the year prize three times: Frank Sinatra, Paul Simon and Stevie Wonder.
