Dr. Dre - Roadium Swap Meet Mixes

For some reason, I’ve been listening to a lot of old Hip Hop mixtapes over the past several months. And here are some of the best, put together way back when by some guy who goes by the name of Dr. Dre ... heard of him? Dre used to sling these tapes at the Roadium Swap Meet in Torrance, CA in his pre-NWA days. Wonderful, wild and awesome stuff, for sure. They take me back to being six or seven years old in the South Bay, sitting in my parents’ car, fiddling with the radio dials and stumbling across KDAY-AM and thinking: “Ah, here’s the station that plays music from THE FUTURE.”
