Can you tell us more about the ros + mc's twin's personalities?

Thorin is quite stubborn, and can come across as as blunt, callous, and cold to the people around them (everyone but the MC of course ;) ). But he loves deeply, is loyal to a fault, and will kill for his loved ones.

Eydis's calm, nurturing spirit is very much at odds with the world she lives in. You wouldn't notice at first as she's also very honest - her Viking blood comes through in her curses and coarse speech.

Sigurd hides a lot of sadness behind a quiet smile. But through his walls lies a friendly, compassionate, and genuine heart. He's reserved at first, but give him some time and he will find himself.

Björn is loud with a lot of energy and matches Eydis's coarse mouth. The quintessential Dane savage the English countrymen fear. Don't mistake him for all brawn and no brains, though.

Æsc doesn't have Bjorn's loudness, but don't mistake their quiet for passivity. Their sharp tongue and quick wit has earned them both friend and foe - they're no longer a meek monk.

Majida is serious and tough - the type who almost never smiles. She never backs down from a challenge, and isn't afraid to follow up her words with the edge of a blade.

?? hotheaded and his stubbornness matches Thorin's. He hates dishonesty and dislikes people who break their oath or throw away their loyalty. He is a Viking to the bone.

Frode is reserved and his intimidating presence often puts people on edge. He’s lost the softness and kind spirit he had as a child, although he still had your mother’s never-ending patience. Just don’t risk reaching the end of it.

What are the ages of the Ros?

Rowan is the oldest of the ROs. They're several centuries old - at least - but despite their teasing they came into existence after the exodus from Earth.

Jem & Di are both around 27 their birthdays are only a few months apart from each other - they were in the same classes with one another until Jem specialized in medicine and Di began learning how to command.

Felix is somewhere between 23-25, he's not sure of the exact age because the only living family he has are fae and they aren't the most reliable regarding the passage of time. He's the youngest of the RO's.

Eydis is 25. She’s been on her own since she was 21 and left the Order of Stone, but she’s only known the Phoenix crew for about a year and a half, I think.

Riley isn't an RO, but figured I should point out - they're 23 in the main part of the story.

The MC now has three age settings that sets their appearance to "early twenties" (like when they died), "mid-twenties", and "late-twenties/thirty".

Can we get some details on the dynamics in the poly relationships?

Thorin and Ingemar are magnetic. Despite seeming to be too different, these opposites do in fact attract. Together, you form a powerful trio and are very well respected.

Eydis and Majida are comfort. Two fearsome women in their own fields, others might be confused how they get along, but that's because they're not privy to the inside of your home. They don't see Eydis and MC braiding Majida's hair, and they don't hear Majida singing quietly as the stars come out.

Björn and Æsc are familiarity. Æsc’s level-headed mind counters Björn’s brashness, and he keeps them from becoming too pessimistic. The love they have for each other and MC is fierce enough to inspire songs and poetry for decades.

Socially anxious but comes off as cold and mysterious somehow, looks like they could kill you but is actually a cinnamon roll, will blush if you hold their hand

I picture him as baker in the modern day.

Eydis:

Swears more than any pirate, loves plants, her family, and her religion

Definitely runs her own witch-y shop and has a degree in botany.

Sigurd:

Wants to swim in every ocean, will be thinking about you holding the door open for them for the rest of his life, and cares too deeply in a world that doesn’t care at all.

I think he would be a photographer for a big name company who gets to travel the world.

Björn:

Adores the fact that Tove looks like him, wants another tattoo, knows the name of almost everybody under his rule, and hates the fact that he can’t sing (well)

Owns a popular bar in a busy, big city, or some other small business of his own. Maybe carpentry?

Æsc:

Loves long hair, too indecisive to get tattoos, learned old Norse in a few months

Modern day Æsc is pursuing their masters in linguistics or sociology.

Majida:

Loves rainy days but hates the mud, enjoys long walks, wishes she was a bird

Definitely runs her own martial arts studio or something similarly badass.

Hates disloyalty, he’s an adrenaline junky, he’s loud and cocky and has a short temper but would never raise a hand against anyone close to him

Walks out and shuts the door, knocking this time, and asks if you need any.. help.

Turns around but doesn't leave yet. Leans against the wall, asking if you want them to stay.

How would the ROs react to seeing someone flirting with MC during crushing stage? How would they react if the person flirting with MC was coming on strong and the MC responded by throwing a fist sending them sprawling across the floor?

Thorin is on standby. He’s close enough to both MC and the person flirting to easily step in if anything happens - or if he simply can’t handle watching anymore.

Eydis is also watching but from afar. Once the person (or people 👀) flirting with MC catch her gaze, her smirk will be enough for them to awkwardly withdraw.

Sigurd: far too awkward in the crushing stage to try anything. He is absolutely watching though, and will back you up if you need it.

Björn is not afraid to make his interest in MC known, or his dislike for the person in front of MC. Will absolutely approach and smile. “So, who’s this, dear?”

Æsc is making snarky comments about the person just loud enough for them to hear. Smiles when they disappear and they can take their spot by MC.

Majida: sitting in a corner glaring angrily at the person and confused as to why she’s angry confused.

Ingemar is sitting nearby - leaned back comfortably with his ankle crossed on his opposite knee. He’s smirking like a little shit watching the person fail to catch MC’s interest (or receive any of the reactions he knows he can draw out of MC-)

hi!! i wanted to drop in and say how much i loved the demo! i loved how it was written and i can’t wait for more :) i was wondering, how would the ro’s react if they said something that made the mc cry during an argument? thanks!

Thorin winces, disappointed in himself, and immediately cuts the argument off. If it's something important, it can be discussed later when you're both less emotional.

Eydis immediately reaches out for you, apologizing a hundred times in one breath. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have taken it that far."

Sigurd starts to cry - a mixture of angry and sad tears. "Please, please forgive me," He'll beg.

Björn sighs, rubbing at his forehead - the anger in the room quickly dissipating. "I'm sorry... let's talk about something else."

Æsc's heart sinks as your tears first start to fall, and the snark fades away - leaving a heart much more lonely and afraid. Dropping to their knees before you, their hands reach out for yours. "Forgive me," They plead, first in your language and then in others unfamiliar to you.

Majida goes quiet, her thick brows furrowing. Coming to rest beside you, she'll reach for your hand, hesitate, and withdraw. "I'm sorry, my love, I didn't mean it."

Ingemar's anger doesn't disappear, instead turning inwards at himself and his actions. He will have to take some alone time to breathe, and comes back in later to apologize.

Thorin’s was hard to pin down, but I’ve settled on acts of service and gift giving.

Eydis’s quality time with a sprinkle of words of affirmation.

Sigurd’s love language is physical touch (also with a sprinkle of words of affirmation).

Quality time and physical touch are Björn’s.

Æsc’s is words of affirmation.

Majida’s is quality time and acts of service.

What kind of sleeper are the ro's and with a partner? You're great Oli!!!

Thorin's a light sleeper and wakes up often, but thankfully he falls back to sleep quickly. Please spoon with him, he doesn't care if he is big or little spoon.

Eydis either gets a full night's rest or none at all. She enjoys her space, but will never say no to cuddling.

Sigurd sleeps deeply until the sun rises when he usually gets up for the day. He sleeps better when wrapped up with MC, although it's a struggle not to wake up MC in the morning.

Björn is a heavy or light sleeper depending on safety and where he is. The constant is he will insist on keeping MC close for "warmth".

Æsc could sleep all day anywhere. They adore cuddling, and will absolutely fall asleep against or on you at any time.

Majida is not used to cuddling or sharing a bed with anyone, but after getting a taste she's addicted. Like Thorin she doesn't care whether she's big spoon or little spoon, or really what cuddling position. Whatever you want, as long as you're close.

?? sleeps like a fucking brick. It takes no small amount of effort to wake this man or free yourself from his grip.

Did the RO/s grow up with a proper family or were they alone? If RO/s have a family, what’s their current relationship like?

Thorin grew up in a "proper" family. He is still very close with his younger brother Toke.

Eydis grew up as the middle child of a large, loving family. She is closer to her mother and two older siblings.

Sigurd has never known his father and his mother died when he was very young.

Björn’s family is a powerful one, but not a close-knit one. He has one sister and one brother who he sees every once in awhile.

Æsc grew up in a decent household, although they were quite poor. They haven't spoken or thought about them in several years.

Majida's childhood was not easy. She has not seen or spoken to any blood relatives in a long time.

?? comes from another powerful family. While he sees them almost everyday, he is not close with any of them except for his younger sister.
