A continuation of my AU where Michael gets adopted by the Evans’ instead of Max. 

Based on RNM 4x03. The gang investigates and sets a trap for the alien robbers. Michael goes undercover. Alex is instrumental in the plan and keeping his friend's secrets. Liz also asks Alex for a favor. 

This chapter is SO ALEX HEAVY. And I love it!

Differences from Canon: - Bonnie recognizes Michael at the bar. Michael pretends like he did in 4x02. - The meeting at Max's house includes Alex who has exciting news to share! - One of Michael's lines is inspired by canon Michael in 3x03. - Michael still wants to go undercover, but because they don't know his loyalties as a clone, whereas they know Max is a cop and one of the rebels. -Alex is the one to ease the tension of Max and Michael's argument. -Liz lies to Shivani because her priority is protecting Michael and she also didn't forge a personal connection with her. - Alex finds Maria after she uses adrenaline and reprimands her. Alex gives amazing advice BECAUSE HE CAN RELATE. - Alex also is the one to convince Max to let Michael go undercover. Alex can attest to Michael's growth because he was with him when they had found Dallas. - Alex is involved with the plan. Because Jenna already had the surveillance and Patricia's connection, she got a warrant to get into the box so she didn't need Maria's key. Max uses different tactics to distract Clyde. - Michael meets Bonnie back at the bar since they didn't talk/ connect as much. Michael's dialogue is a combination of canon Michael 4x03 and canon Max 4x12. - Alex blocks any flirting with Maria and Dallas as they wait. Then, Max brings them to the lair and it's there Maria gets a call about her mom. - Liz asks Alex to help keep Senovative away and asks him for relationship advice. Alex response is partly inspired by 4x13. - Liz is still there when they get the messages about Jones and Mimi. - Alex needs to delay his trip again.

i am so intrigued by ND 4x06. without any promos it's hard to know what we're going into ahead of the ep. but the episode title being "Web of Yesterdays" and the episode description mentioning them going back to high school for career day, AND the stuff from the season trailer with tristan jumping into what looks like a portal + the gigantic spider (web!) -- it looks like it's gonna be a jam packed ep.

i am VERY INTRIGUED about the portal (?) from the trailer. and the fact that the episode has the word "yesterdays" in makes me wonder if we're gonna get a lil bit of time travel. i LOVE time travel. it would be a fun twist we've never seen before.

i've also seen people theorise we might see a flashback or something of nancy in HS (which would mean we'd also see george and possibly also ace -- and given the mention of him noticing her in HS in 4x03... it's possible). which would be fun! it would v much give me the vibes of that roswell new mexico flashback ep in s1... which remains one of my fave eps of RNM ever.

I will only post about this once.

Michael loves Alex.

He's the love of his life. Season 1-4 have made that pretty clear.

He wasn't flirting with Bonnie.

She might get a bit of a crush on him? Yeah, ok, that can happen (but I don't think it will, honestly).

But even if it does happen, Michael will be very fast to point out he's very much in love and in a very serious relationship with the love of his life.

There's no way Michael won't make that clear IF (and it's a big if) Bonnie hints at something romantic towards him and her.

There's no way.

4x03 preview clip feat. Liz, Max, Jenna, Maria, Dallas, and Michael

I’ve been awake since 3 am to watch the episode, so bear with me if I go off on a bit of a tangent, but here are my thoughts on 4x03:

Max was hot in this episode. I’m glad he and Michael quickly resolved their argument, but that “We just did” line had me swooning.

Does this mean Isobel and Anatsa are finally over? Please. I do not want her to know about aliens. I will say, just objectively; GIRL. You were on a double-date, and you just tried to get your girlfriend’s friend’s date drunk so you could interrogate her about something that very well could cost her her job. WHILE HER DATE WAS SITTING RIGHT THERE. Even if she doesn’t lose her job, you still put everyone in such a difficult position! I did not appreciate Anatsa there, nor do I appreciate this show’s apparent inability to reprimand anyone but the gay guy.

People do things that are wrong. You can tell them they put you in a tough spot! The way she came up to Isobel later and acted like Isobel had been the unreasonable one! Again, as I said in my last post on 4x02, if Anatsa was in her own show as a main or even secondary character, I think I’d appreciate her a lot more. As it stands, I’m sorry, but I just want her to leave.

Also I do have to give props to Lily for trying to make the relationship seem passionate and all, but there’s just zero chemistry, so as hard as she tries, it still just comes off awkward because her and Anatsa do not fit at all.

I skipped Maria’s scenes. Absolutely could not care less what happens to her. Only reason I hesitated to skip during some of her scenes was because she was talking to Dallas, and I absolutely love Dallas, but not even that angel of a man could make Maria tolerable.

Kyle is so cute, he’s such a gentleman, I love him so much. The way he talked about hurting Alex who was so close to him because of fear had me rewinding the scene to watch twice because I just live for their friendship. Don’t touch me.

I don’t like Clyde. I also have a theory that he’s Jones’s son and Michael’s half-brother.

I was apprehensive about the aliens at first, but I admittedly think the brother/sister relationship between Michael and Bonnie is kind of cute. I like her, and I like the way Michael treats her like a little sister. Like I said, given a certain past season, I was worried about where this was going, but it seems like Michael really will be a brother to Bonnie and Clyde, which is fine by me.

On that note, Michael loves his life, and it’s all thanks to Alex. I’m going to die.

What did that evil woman do to Eduardo? Is she controlling his mind? Did taking Alex have something to do with the Lockhart Machine? Is she trying to get Eduardo to give her the machine so that Alex could work on it because he was the only one able to work it? I have so many theories about why she took Alex, all of which I hope to write in upcoming fics.

I want Michael to know about Alex already, and I don’t know if he finds out next episode or not because the promo doesn’t reveal anything, but based on everything that Vlamis has said and how excited he is for us to watch, I know all hell is going to break loose. I just don’t expect it to be in the beginning or middle of the next episode, but hey, I hope I’m wrong.

Alex wasn’t in this one, which makes me sad, but knowing what I know, I just hope that Tyler was doing okay at the time.

I loved 4x03.

I think season 4 is doing an amazing job with the pace and plots of the episodes.

Again, it's such a shame RNM didn't get a renewal when they finally found their way. I'll forever be upset about this.
